DigiStory Ch.3: Rebirth

The DigiStory shall be continued!

I think, on the old boards, it left off at the part where Ben was about to destroy the Primary Village.
So now I will await the glorious moment when the new Boards are reopened and we can continue our story.

[Ben]

Ben's blast was heading straight toward the Primary Village. All the digimon were shoved out of its way by the aura of force surounding it. Just before It touched the first block, Toyagumon jumped in the way.

Toyagumon: No! :mad: I can't let you do this!
The blast hit Toyagumon fully. He fell to the ground, barely alive. Ben ran to him.
Ben: Toyagumon?
Toyagumon (Weakly): Yes?
Ben: DIE!
Ben blasted Toyagumon into digidust. The others stared as he gathered the digidust and obliterated it. None of them could believe it, he hadn't just destroyed Toyagumon, he had deleted him!
Ben: Fool! How dare he get in my way! (Ben turned to face the others) Know that any who get in my way shall suffer the same fate!

Then he again began his march to the Crest Temple.

Ginny: He's destroyed, completely and totally!
*Angel masked her emotions and ran on.*
Cera: Nobody ever answers my questions around here. Let's go Ginny.
*She doesn't move.*
Cera: *tugs at her arm* C'mon, we can't let Ben get too far ahead!
Ginny: I was just thinking, what if I had....what if I had agreed to being the ruler of the Digital World. Would any of this be happening? Could we have avoided ToyAgumon's deletion?
Lopthera: If you don't mind losing us instead. There's nothing you could have done except what you did.
Cera: Loptheramon's right. Now come on!
*Still musing, Ginny follows them.*

Truth be told, I got bored. :o I didn't need him anymore, and he got in my way. But, if you guys want, I will bring him back later. I really think that you guys will like my idea for bringing him back. :D

Toyagumon leaned against a wall and fell through it. Then he shot me in the butt with his Toy Flame to get me down there. :D Ahh the memories. :D

Meanwhile, another Agumon and his partner stood in front of a strange building. The Crest Temple.
“I really don’t think we should be here,” ToyAgumon whispered.
“SHHH!” the boy--his name was Ben--hissed. “Be quiet or we're gonna get caught! Huh? Hey, look! My tag is glowing!”
ToyAgumon rolled his eyes. “I still don't see why you carry that thing around.”
“Remember what Gennai said?”
“So what?” ToyAgumon asked. “An old guy told you to search the digiworld for some scrap of metal to go in that tag. You're hopeless.”
“Be quiet!” Ben whispered. “They'll hear us!”
“Aw, who cares?” The block-like digimon leaned against a wall. “Whoa!” he cried out as the wall gave way and sent him sliding down a hidden tunnel.
“I said be quiet!” Ben said, rather angrily this time. “Huh? ToyAgumon, where are you?”
ToyAgumon his the ground at the end of the slide-like tunnel--hard. “Ouch!” Then, “Ben! Ben! Where are you? OH! He must be stuck inside the tunnel.” The digimon thought for a moment. “Now, how to get him out of there? Oh, we’ll try this. Toy Flame!”
The flame shot up the pipe and hit Ben.
“Ow!” Ben exclaimed, sliding down the tunnel and landing in front of ToyAgumon.
ToyAgumon laughed. “It's about time you got here. Come look what I found!”
“Whoa!” Ben exclaimed. “It's a crest! This is under the crest temple though--why are there crests down here? Whoa!” The Crest in question flew toward Ben’s tag, and slid easily into the slot.
ToyAgumon stared. “That's the Crest of Insanity!” he exclaimed. “Boy,” he muttered under his breath. “It couldn't have chosen a better kid.”


KK...I know you follow our story. Do you want to jump in some time? I don't think anyone would really mind. And it would be nice to have another poster keeping the story going....

Obtok: Ben you will pay:mad:!

Obtok with his power axe in hand runs up to Ben.

Oreta: Obtok nooooooooooooo!!!

Ben blast Obtok. Obtok falls dowan with a hole in hes stomech. He is bleeding.

Oreta: He will bleed to death!

Ben begins walking again. He is attacked form behind by, not Oreta, but Saberleomon.
Ben falls to the ground as he is tackled by the legendary digimon. Ben stands up and brushes himself off. Then he turns to face Saberleomon.
"Solar Ray!" Ben is hit from behind by the attack. Centauromon gallops into view.
Cenaturomon: I cannot let you harm the digidestined! I am their guardian and cannot let you continue your evil.
Ben: Will you two make it quick, I have evil Crests to gather.
Saberleomon: Twin Fang!
Saberleomon jumped at Ben, fangs bared and glowing.
Centauromon: Jet Gallop!
Centauromon ran at Ben, picking up speed and also glowing.

Ben grabbed Saberleomon's fangs, the fangs' energy not effecting his hands, and flipped him around and threw him at Centauromon. The two collided into a heap. Ben again continued his slow walk to the Temple.

Zero had jumped into the air and had called appon the power in his and his brother's sword's to send thousands of blades at Ben,Which he proptly raised his hand to send them back at they're creator.Almost right after a beam from behind ben knocked him out.A former enemy jumped up and rushed next to Zero.Ginnylyn was the first to notice that it was none other then.......Kazuya.....

Oreta runs up to ben with her power axe. Ben knocks her away. Then Ben realide she cut him a little.

Ben glances at his injured arm. It slowly heals.
Ben: You annoy me Oreta, I thought that the death of your brother would teach you to leave me alone.
Oreta: I will never leave you alone until I avenge my brother.
Ben: Or until I decide to stop you.
Oreta: You will never stop me.
Ben: Oh really?
Ben lifts up his staff, but instead of a blast coming from it, a small shadow emerges. It slowly grows bigger until it is twice the size of a human.
Ben: Destroy her.
The shadow lunges toward her. She strikes at it with her axe, savagely ripping at its dark skin. The shadow however, is not even trying to fend off the attacks. It slowly melts into a puddle at Oreta's feet. Little tendrils of shadow wrap around her, knocking her axe out of reach. Oreta begins to slowly sink into the ground.
Ben begins to walk again.
Ben: These constant attacks are slowing me down. I must figure out a way to stop them. It's too bad I destroyed that digimon, it was useful to have around. I think i'll bring it back.
Ben takes ahold of his crest and concentrates.

I am so sorry it took me this long to ost, i'm going through "Hell week" at my house. *sighs* Zero, why do you always do that?

Ben creates the image of toyagumon in his mind, slightly modified. Toyagumon had failed to stop the digidestined last time, he wasn't going to let that happen again.
Slowly, a shadow crept out of his Crest. It took Toyagumon's shape, only with wings. Ben then put his memories of Toyagumon into it's head. He wanted it to understand who it was.
Then, with a brilliant flash, the digimon walked out of the shadow. (See attachment for a picture)
Blockmon: I am Blockmon, how may I serve you Ben?
Ben: Go and slow the digidestined down, I must reach the Crest Temple.
Blockmon: As you wish.

The other are walking along, trying to catch up with Ben. Then a hammer flew out of the air and smacked Zero in the head.
Zero: Ow!
Then Blockmon flew in to attack.
Blockmon: Block Hammer!
He brought it down on all of their heads.
Gryfmon&Marimon: Wind Clap! Prism Clap!
Blockmon: Block Wall!
The two attacks hit the lego wall and disappeared. Gryfmon took to the air and sent several Wing Claps at him. He flew around each one with ease, he was now an expert flyer.
He took Out his hammers again and slammed then down on Gryfmon's back, wings and was even brutal enough to knock her in the stomach. She fell to the ground and lay there wimpering. Ginny ran over to her.
Gryfmon: That didn't turn out the way we wanted, did it?
Ginny: Not at all.
Marimon was now trying her luck against the powerful rookie.
Marimon: Prism Clap!
She clapped her hands together frantically, trying to keep him at bay. Her attacks did very little though. If it was impossible for him to dodge it, he simply used his Block Wall. Then he proceded to beat Marimon to a pulp. After she was severely beaten, Blockmon took off and flew back to Ben.

"No...." The rookie tried to smile up at her.

"Oh, Mari!" Cera picked the creature up. "Ginny? Is gryf okay?"

"She'll be alright....."

"Oh, man...what was that digimon? It looked like ToyAgumon, but...."

"It wasn't ToyAgumon."

"I know that much. ToyAgu was a half-way decent creature. Scorch! How'd a rookie get so strong, anyway?"

"I don't know..."

Kazuya was bent over his brother,Who's pulse was dieing.He wished he haddent Been so mean,That he had been there,and that he was still a digidestion.For the first time in his life,He let a salty tear run from his eye.He was to late to do anything,For Zero died that day.Kazuya didn't know what to do,Exept get revenge.He got up from his kneeling state and walked over to Ben.He slowly slid out his sword,While the others watched,knowing they couldn't stop him.He raised his sword,And brought it down.Though when it was A inch from Ben's neck,He was thrown back.Ben than was covered in a black Arua,Got up,and Ran out of the house.Bye the time they got outside,He was a mile away.He ran,And finally came to a temple....the crest temple......He walked inside and with one set wish......To bring back his digimon,And kill the digidestion.....

Ben: Finally, I shall re-created my digimon, and destroy those pesky "goody-two shoes" digi-destined!!!

Oreta keeps on sinking into the ground. But then a hand reachs out to her. The hand pulls her out.

Oreta:eek:: Brother you are alave.

Obtok looks half dead.

Obtok: I need to stop Ben!

Obtok Runs to Ben. Bun is about to enter the crest Temple. Obtok runs past Blockmon.

Obtok: Ben I will stop you!

Oreta:eek:: what in the world!

Obtok truns into some kind of energy. The energy Than Rushs and hit ben and knocks him down.

Oreta: Obtok sacrifice his own life to kill ben.

But Ben sets up.

I thought obtok was already dead....? Oh, well...

*this is going to be a short, poor quality, tying-up-loose-ends sort of post*


Cera and Ginny reached the Crest Temple.

"Boy....looks like a regular reunion...."

Oreta stood facing Ben. He glared at her.

A little ways away, Angel stood with three SnowAgumon and two YukimiBotamon.

Kazuya was no where to be seen.

"I'm not sure I want to be here..." Cera murmered.

"No kidding," Ginny said softly.

"What's going on?" asked a third voice neither of them recognized.

The girls spun around. "Who are you?"

"Amanda...." The girl looked around. "What's going on?"

"Long story...."

"Who's that boy?"

"Ben."

"What's he like?"

"Depends."

"Well, who's the girl?"

"Oreta."

Kazuya Lunged from his position behind Ben and attacked.Although he did make contact,It was his head with Ben's elbow.Kazuya Was knocked back,Doing a backflip and landing.He knew that his and his brothers swords where the only way to win,But when Zero Died,So did his half of the Great Sword Of Fury,Which both combined to make.He knew they where dun for,Unless They got Zero to return,Which was impossable..........

*At the same time, Zaltamon barrels into Amanda, both landing in the temple. Zaltamon is a little scratched.*

Kazuya knew he couldn't get them past Ben without someone getting hurt,So he Punched Ben in the stomach and ran the other way.As he ran he yelled up ahead.

They ran for almost and hour,Never knowing if they where safe or not.When they reached a long flight of stairs,they saw Ben sitting at the top.

"How did he do that?!" Amanda asked desparately.

"Who knows?"

Ben laughed at them. "Blockmon! Come here!" he commanded. The ToyAgumon-like digi appeared in front of him.

Gryf moaned softly. "Not again...."

Ben smiled mockingly. "Yes, you've already met my faithful new digimon. This one won't be second-guessing my orders like the last one."

"He had another digimon?" Amanda whispered to Ginny. "What happened to it?"

Ginny smiled weakly. "You don't want to know..."

Ben smirked at Amanda. "I haven't seen you before. Looks like you joined the wrong team."

"I definetely don't like this guy," Amanda muttered to Cera.

"Well, erm..." Cera muttered something and turned away.

Ben continued speaking to Amanda. "No, you wouldn't know about old ToyAgumon, would you?"

"No, I don't." Amanda said defiantly. "What about him?"

"Oh, man..." Ginny said softly. "You really shouldn't have asked that..."

"I'm sure your two new friends could tell you all about him. How sweet he was. How he tried to stop me. What a good friend."

"Err..."

"He disobeyed me, and I destroyed him." Ben said coldly, watching the expressions on the faces of the others.

Amanda turned to Ginny, wide-eyed. Ginny nodded imperceptibly. Yes, it was true.

"What do you want?!"

Ben looked thoughtful. "Now that," he said, "Is a very good question. But do you really want to know the answer?"

Ben disappears. Hammers are being built in Blockmon's hands. He takes to the air, knowing he has the advantage there.
Darkagumon: Dark Pepper Breath! (:confused: )
The carefully aimed fireball hits the flying block on Blockmon's back. The lego wings fall off. Blockmon falls to the ground with a crash.

Ben is walking toward the entrance of the Accursed Dungeon. He gets there and holds up his Crest. The wall glows and disappears. There, instead of a pipe, is a spiral staircase. Ben begins to slowly walk down, savoring each step.

The other digidestined have got their hands full with Blockmon. Their attacks can't get through his Block Wall. Each time after they attack, he pops out and throws a hammer at one of them.
Tygermon: Double Strike!
Lydramon: Rainbow Lightning!
The attacks hit the wall, having no effect. Then, Blockmon jumps out and slams his Hammers on their heads. They de-digivolve and lay there, unconscious. He walks over to where his wings lay. He picks them up, and puts them on. Zaltamon jumps at Blockmon, trying to stop him. He punches her out of his way and walks toward the unconscious pair. He takes out his hammers, preparing to beat the two knocked-out digimon. (Brutal isn't he?)
Ginny couldn't bear to watch, she just stood there in horror. She didn't want any of this, none of the fighting, the responsibility, the pain. She remembers something. She trys to concentrates on how much she wants the fighting to stop, how much she wants things to be peaceful. Her shield appears on her arm with a ring like a bell.
Ginny: Hold it right there buddy!
Blockmon glances at her and snorted, humans were danger to him. Ginny blasts him with her shield. He glows with an intense white light. The wings and hammers slowly disappear. The figure there looked very familiar.
Cera: Toyagumon?
Toyagumon: The one and only. The Peaceful energy from Ginny's shield restored me, temporarily. We have to move quickly before I turn back!
Cera: We don't know where to go!
Toyagumon: But I do. Now let's go!

Ben reaches the bottom of the stairs. He glances with disgust at the corner where the Snowagumons had appeared. It was still pearly white and bore the symbol of the Crest of Peace. He destination was the far room. And nothing was going to stop him from getting there.

*sighs* Ben, Ben, Ben...:rolleyes: Ooh, this gonna be fun! *giggles*

Amanda:Turn back?!
ToyAgumon: Of course. Peace only lasts for so long. Then...BLAM. Another internation incident.
Ginny:He's got a point. We better get a move on.
*all 3 girls walk over and pick up there digimon*
Amanda:Are they gonna be all right?
Cera: Of course they will...A..at least I think so.
Amanda: Ooh boy..

"Where are we going?" Zaltamon asked.

ToyAgumon heard them. "We are going to the Temple of Accursed Crests."

Cera's eyes widened. "And this is supposed to be a good idea?!"

Amanda looked surprised. "Temple of accursed crests? Is there such a thing?"

Cera shrugged. "If ToyAgumon says so, I believe him. 'Sides, it makes sense. Gennai was always telling us that everything here has to have balance."

ToyAgumon continued to speak as they were walking. "The Temple of Accursed Crests holds the Balance of all the True Crests. Just as the temple holds the Crests of Peace, Dreams, Love, Power, Light, Reason, and many others, the Accursed temple holds the Crests of Turmoil, Nightmares, Hate, Entropy, Darkness, and Insanity."

"I'm thinking meeting with an evil genius on his home ground is probably one of the dumber things we've done..." Nekomon muttered. (Neko's with us right? It's easy to forget about the little guy.)

"We're here," ToyAgumon announced finally.

The girls looked at what was before them....

"That's a wall," Ginny said pointedly.

Cera rolled her eyes. "Nothing escapes you, Ginny."

ToyAgumon looked perplexed. "Ginny, have you got your shield?"

"Uh, huh."

"Hold it up for a moment."

Ginny did so, and the wall seemed to flicker in and out of existance. ToyAgumon smiled, and walked through the wall that was not really there. Nevously, the others followed.

Soon they reached the spiralling staircase. Cera stared at it, feeling dizzy. "It goes down forever,"she whispered nervously.

"It is the only way to reach the Accursed Temple," ToyAgumon said, rather apologetically.

"If it's all the same to you, I'd rather stay here, then," Cera laughed nervously, only half-joking.

"Nuh-uh," Ginny said. "You're coming with us."

Cera swallowed hard and followed the others onto the staircase.

KariKamiya, I think the idea is fine except for the barren desert part, the Accursed Temple/Dugeon is under the Crest Temple, no barren desert there.

Ginny: What are you guys talking about? There's no dust or sun. It's just a dark room.
Cera: What are you talking about? I'm roasting alive!
Toyagumon: I think it's just another illusion. Ginny?
Ginny: Oy, this is getting tiring.
Ginny lifts up her shield, a white glow eminates from it. The desert vanishes, and they find themselves in a dark and cold room. Suddenly, the Snowagumons ran toward a corner, the Yurikimibotamons also hopped over. When the others look at the corner, they are surprised to see that it is white with the Crest of Peace symbol on it. The Yurikimibotamon digivolve until they reach Snowagumon's again. All five of them glow. When the glowing fades, the five step out of the corner.
Ginny: What was that all about?
SA's: We have disabled all the illusions and traps along the way to the Crests. We will have safe passage through here.
Cera: Until we get to Ben.
At that moment, Toyagumon yelled and fell to the floor, clutching his sides. Slowly, the wings and hammers grew back.
Blockmon: Miss me? :devil:

*While Blockmon happily plays kickball with the SnowAgumon (:devil: ), Gryfmon digivolves and tackles him from behind.*
*Outraged, he slaps his arm against her throat and shoves her back. That's when Lyrdramon pounces on him.*
Amanda: Whoa, lookit them grow!
Neko: My turn! *Volunsmon joins the crowd, and Blockmon is distracted for the moment.*
Cera: SnowAgumons, hurry!
SnowAgus: SnowAgumon, group warp digivolve to--
Block: Enough already! *he somehow manages to break free of the three Champions, but instead of attacking the SnowAgumons again, he dives at the corner where the Crest of Peace shone. With a concentrated attack, he shatters the symbol.* That should keep you from doing any more harm!
Cera: *mutters* Look who's talking...
Amanda: Does this mean they can't group digivolve.
Ginny: I dunno. Try it, guys!
SnowAgu1: SnowAgumon, digivolve to...Frigimon!
SnowAgu2: SnowAgumon, digivolve to...Gururumon!
SnowAgu3: SnowAgumon, digivovle to...Mojyamon!

Cera still stared absently at the recent Digivolves. "Nope," she murmered. "I'm reasonably certain I've never seen them do that before."

Ginny glanced at her in disbelief. "Come on! We've got to find Ben!"

"Coming...." Cera, Amanda, and digimon followed Ginny as she lead the way towards the far end of the room.

"Does anyone else think this might be a bad idea?" Volunsmon asked again. The girls looked mournfully at him.

"Of course it's a bad idea," Cera muttered. "But it's the only one we've got."

Amanda slowed down a step and began to speak with Cera.

"What's up with Ben? Why's he evil?"

Cera shrugged. "He's got the Crest of Insanity."

"Has he always been bad?"

"I guess it depends on how you define 'bad.' "

"What about that other girl?"

"Who, Angel?" Ginny asked. "She's one of us...I think she knows more than she tells us, though.... Something to do with her being the Child of Silence."

Suddenly, the digimon in front of them stopped walking. "Tyger, is something wrong?"

"Yes," muttered Lyrdramon. "We're here."

They stood in front of a huge wooden.....

"Drawbridge? This is a movie or something!"

They looked at the giant wooden door, unmistakeably a drawbridge that would not have seemed out of place in HollyWood.

"No," Ginny said. "This is the Digital World."

"Great...so how do we open it?"

"We don't." Cera said softly. "It's already being opened."

"What?" Sure enough, the drawbridge was slowly lowering.

Amanda was the first to realize. "We've got to move!"

"Huh--wha--?"

Amanda grabbed Ginny and Cera by the arms and pulled them off to the side. The digimon jumped out of the way as the drawbridge began to fall faster. It hit the stone floor with an echoing clang.

Cera blinked at the heavy wooden door, now laying where they had stood a moment before. "Wow. Err...Thanks, Amanda."

Ginny looked uncertainly into the gloom of the next room over. "So he just opened the door for us?"

"Yes," Cera said dryly. "Wasn't that nice of him?"

"So do we go in, or what?"

"Go in, or else..."
