I watch a lot of movies.

I mean, a lot.

I watch more movies than any single person I've ever met. 10-15 a week, sometimes more. Does this make me a loser?

Anyway, the movie I am currently watching is Killer of Sheep.

1977[/URL] American film written, directed, produced and shot by Charles Burnett. It features Henry G. Sanders, Kaycee Moore, Charles Bracy, among others. The drama depicts the culture of urban African-Americans in Los Angeles' Watts district. The film's style is often likened to Italian [URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neorealism_%28art%29"]neorealism[/URL'].

Imdb sucks, by the way.

I am currently watching the chat iwndows on my computer screen. I've got my friend in Alberta talking about random things my boyfriend in British Columbia talking about his dad's job situation. My friend Stationed in Northern Iraq talking about how he can't bring himself to tell his girlfriend that 7 out of every 10 soldiers killed in Iraq are killed at his FOB then switching to country music discussions. My friend from work talking about our kids and birthday parties. ANd for about three minutes I was talking to Japan about how we found the OB (Slimey yet satisfying)

I'm also looking out my mom's office window for the mail to come. No I am not being a pest nor am I at my mom's work. My mom's training in Texas and I don't work til 3pm EST so I'm sitting in her office on the computer looking out the window- facing the front of the house and I-390 way in the back of the houses across the street. waiting for the mail to come since I have one more thing that I ordered for my boyfriend's birthday.

So yeah no movies, or TV shows but I should try to watch Life On Mars later, I need to watch the ep from last week before this week's ep. And I also have to catch up on Desperate Housewives because I think someone got stabbed. And Nicolette Sheridan's character was supposed to be leaving since she's leaving the show.

Right now, at this moment, I am watching American Idol. Music is delicious, and since I sing I like to listen to other people sing too. Simon. Damn he is mean. I bet he and Gordon Ramsay are going to get in a fight. XD

As for what I am watching in general: Lost (and Life on Mars since it comes on right after Lost and has to do with time travel), Xam'd Lost Memories (streaming), Star Ocean EX (streaming), and that's it I think.

Highlander: The Search for Vengeance. Breathes quite a lot of originality into a series I've always had a geeky love for, as one fan remarked "Chainsaw versus Katana ? Anime Quickenings ? WANT NAOW!!" Any Highlander fans, or any anime fans looking to check out something new might consider it.

I’m currently watching Wolverine and the X-men. I was scared that this would turn into another Martin Mystery or Kappa Mikey, but this show turned out to go beyond my expectations. It might knock down the original animated series, but I’m just going to wait till a season or two before I make my judgment. One thing I’m still not that used to in Wolverine and the X-men is that Wolverine is pretty much leading the group. Well I guess I shouldn't be surprised, since his name is in the title. I never really liked Cyclops, but I respected him enough to be the one calling the shots and flying the Black Bird.

Another show I am watching is That 70’s Show. I never really got into this show during the original airing. Now that re-runs are on three different channels, I guess it was only a matter of time before I find a time that it’s the only interesting thing on. After watching a good amount of episodes, I can say I like it, but regret missing out when the show had buzz.

I have to share this now because I actually have the TV on. I'm watching Desperate Housewives and I can sum the series up in three words: Best Show EVER!

Desperate Housewives is an American television comedy-drama series, created by Marc Cherry, who also serves as show runner, and produced by ABC Studios and Cherry Productions. Executive producers, as of the fourth season, are Marc Cherry, Bob Daily, George W. Perkins, John Pardee and Joey Murphy, David Grossman, Larry Shaw and Sabrina Wind.

The setting of the show is the street of Wisteria Lane in the fictional American town of Fairview, Eagle State. It follows the lives of a group of women, seen through the eyes of their dead neighbor, as they work through domestic struggles and family life, while facing the secrets, crimes and mysteries hidden behind the doors of their—at the surface—beautiful suburban neighborhood. The show features an ensemble cast, headed by Teri Hatcher as Susan Mayer, Felicity Huffman as Lynette Scavo, Marcia Cross as Bree Hodge, Eva Longoria Parker as Gabrielle Solis, Nicollette Sheridan as Edie Britt and, from season four onwards, Dana Delany as Katherine Mayfair. Movie of the moment: The Passenger

film[/URL] directed and co-written by Michelangelo Antonioni, released in 1975, in which Jack Nicholson stars as a reporter in Africa who assumes the identity of a dead stranger. The film competed for the "Palme d'Or" award at the 1975 [URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannes_Film_Festival"]Cannes Film Festival[/URL'].

I'm about halfway through it and so far it's been good.

Dead Like Me is an American television comedy-drama starring Ellen Muth and Mandy Patinkin as grim reapers who live and work in Seattle, Washington. I began watching this series now and liked it. I supposed it isn't high in publicity, but it isn't not all boring.

Well just yesterday I was watching a movie called "Big Trees" with Krik Douglas. It was made in the 1950's so it is an old movie. It was enjoyable I guess. ^ ^

Current movie: Synecdoche, New York

Synecdoche, New York is a 2008 American melodrama film written and directed by Charlie Kaufman. It premiered in competition at the 61st Annual Cannes Film Festival on May 23, 2008 and went into limited theatrical release in the US on October 24, 2008.
The film marks the directorial debut of Kaufman, who is known for his screenplays for the reality-bending films Being John Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Adaptation.

Charlie Kaufman is my absolute favorite screenwriter.

I watched The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang yesterday. I think I came in about... 5 or 10 minutes into the movie, and only kept watching it because Justing Long had a mullet and I wanted to know who the hell was going on.

I'm glad I stuck it through. It was a very good movie.

Edit: OH MAN I WANTED TO SEE SYNECDOCHE IN THEATERS SO BAD. Unfortunately, it wasn't playing anywhere near here. It was playing back home, but the arts theater stopped showing it, like, I would have been home for winter break.

I should've posted here sooner since I watch a lot of tv. (TV is almost my life lol)

Avatar the Last Airbender - I can never grow tired of this series. I don't like Aang or Katara that much. Zuko and Sokka tends to get on my nerves from time to time, but I like everyone else. (Except Long Feng.. That guy is an idiot for some of the words that came out of his mouth lol) I say this a lot, but I can't help it. Me being the animation/artwork freak that I am, I always seem to be amazed at the amount of detailed artwork/animation that's put into this series..

The giant turtle-lion is just too good

. More importantly though, it's consistent. And overall, it just has a peaceful feeling to it. I don't get that feeling in much. (Moribito was the last series that gave me that sense of feeling, and Shenmue was the first to give me that feeling.)

24 - I regret missing the final episode of the last season because it feels as if I'm missed something.

The disband of CTU

?? Um.. when did that happen? While this season is good, I don't really like it compared to the other seasons. Everyone that should have a backbone to do anything are the wimps of this season, and it's just "meh". All these wimpy people are taking away that "oomph" that packed a punch (at least for me anyway) the other seasons seemed to have.

. Another thing that this series can do without are these idiotic characters. Each season had at least 2 stupid people that just asked for something to happen to them, and this season is no different, and I wish they get rid of it altogether for once.

Food Network channel - I practically leave my tv on this channel when I can't find anything on tv. (Eventually I plan to enroll in a cooking school) Right now some show about healthy foods is on. Some of the shows that I watch is Iron Chef of America, Everyday Italian (that lady is hawt... sorry), Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Rachel Ray (forgot the name of her show), Guy's Big Bite (I think), Emeril, etc.

Sportscenter. Detroit Pistons is number 8 so far for the playoffs. Idiots. I still can't get over why Joe Dumars decided to trade Chauncey Billups for Allen Iverson. That trade makes no sense to me.

Prison Break: I've been renting full seasons of series' I've never thought looked interesting. Happy I did because this show is decent, though I need to figure out a better system. It's not exactally tought tofigure out what happens since they made a second season....hmmm

My television has not moved from TBS in weeks. I don't even watch it that often... but it's nice to have background noise that's at least funny.

As for movies, I haven't really watched any in a while. However, I plan to soon. Lately I've been meaning to buy Fight Club as well as Boondocks Saints. I love those movies & am feelin' them lately. Yep.

(As for out my window, I have a great view, three stories up, of a dumpster.)
