I love Music. Music is constantly in my house. We have a guitar, bass ,acoustic guitar, Drum set, and a piano in my basement where we jam.

I listen to so much music like Mute Math, Coldplay, Muse ,John Mayer ,RHCP , Ac/DC, Van Halen, Jason Mraz, Victor Wooten, Ben Folds, etc.

But I cannot have a favorite band because of all the music they create it's just to hard to come to a conclusion.

But if you have or haven't decided your favorite band post anyway I'd really like to know!

all you hip kids need to go back in time and check out Gin Blossoms. They arnt that old... and they were pretty inovative for their time, you probably will recognise a couple of their songs. most of the people i show them to follow the same course of thought... "hey... i remember this song! ilike this band."

If you can join them, why would you try to beat them?

I don't play favorites, as it makes the other bands jealous.

Music is so prevalent in my mind that I couldnt possibly pick a favorite band. That subject should come with an asterisk beside because it is always "subject to change"

I guess I can list some bands that I couldnt stop listening to:

Kanye West
Hillsong United
Jay-Z
Linkin Park(old Linkin park)
Beetles(they finally broke me)
Blink-182
Coldplay
Ludacris
Nas
The Game
Eminem
Lil Wayne
Wu Tang Clan (and all the members seperately)
David Crowder
Chris Tomlin
The Fray
Matt & Kim
Michael Jackson
George Clinton
Mos Def

Too many great artists with so many hot tracks. I wish I could list them all.

It'd be nearly impossible for me to choose one artist above the rest. I used to be obsessed with rankings/lists/ratings etc. etc. But I got over that and learned just to enjoy what I enjoy not put too much thought into what's better than what. There are a few musical artists that immediately spring to mind though.

Radiohead is a band that I love to death. One of the few bands that I literally enjoy their entire discography. Most Radiohead fans seem to split into pre-Kid A and post-Kid A camps. But I truly enjoy it all. The Bends is probably my favorite album of theirs, with In Rainbows a close 2nd.

The Beatles are a pretty cliche choice, but their music has been with me since I was a child. And it shows no signs of stopping it's immense impact on my life.

the Wu-Tang Clan is another favorite and I basically consider them the Beatles of hip-hop culture. They are a 9 man ensemble of some of the best MCs ever to touch the mic. Their initial string of albums in the 90s is unparalleled in it's genre. They opened with 36 Chambers, which is arguably the best rap album ever. And followed with solo classics from Method Man (Tical), Ghostface (Ironman), GZA (Liquid Swords), and Raekwon (Only Built 4 Cuban Linx). Then they topped it off with a mammoth double LP Wu-Tang Forever. It catches a lot of flack for being inconsistent, but I couldn't disagree more. The beats are incredible as ever and everyone is on point lyrically.

The Flaming Lips, Brand New, and Nas would also be tangled up there somewhere. Brand New's Deja Entendu album got me through teenage life. Nas is an incredible word smith who has remained relevant since his debut album, Illmatic, dropped in the early 90s. And The Flaming Lips' trippy music and good vibes lift my spirits no matter what I'm going through.

before death is eternity
after death is eternity
there is no death
there's only eternity

Tegan & Sara. I have never related to anything any better, and I have so many wonderful memories and feelings associated with them. This, plus the fact that the music is just really good, makes me think their album The Con is the best thing in existence.

My favorite band is Bloc Party. On the contrary, the best band of all time is by far the Beatles. Another thing is, my favorite album is actually an As Cities Burn album (Hell or High Water). Bloc Party just speaks to me, all their songs are golden.

My favorites change about every other day. But it's stayed consistent-ish the past few years:

1. The Beatles
2. Queen
3. Barenaked Ladies
4. Dave Matthews Band
5. Jason Mraz (I'm one of those snobs who's loved him for 6 years)
6. The Shins
7. Weezer
8. The Arcade Fire
9. Postal Service
10. Iglu & Hartly

But I normally listen to classical instrumental music (because I'm a nerd) or (more recently) Christmas music!

Thanks to having a hip boss in High School there were several artist that I got into before they hit it big (Jason Mraz and Yellowcard come to mind) So, come to think of it, I might have you beat on Mraz by a year or two.
