We once thought that humans were the only specials intelligent and thriving in our simple solar system, theories of other worlds and life forms have been the center of the entertainment business and scientific theories. How simple things were many millennia’s ago, and now, the fantasy is more than an idea. It’s a reality.

In the year 2400, mankind received a communication signal from one of its orbiting probes beyond the outer ring planets. At first ignored due to the possibility of technical malfunction, but then though as fact after more and more signals began to transmit. Soon, Earth’s scientists and explorer’s traveled towards the strongest source and were astonished at what met them half way. Aliens…or to us there were, and to them we were. Having finally touched our corner of the galaxy, these aliens returned with the humans to Earth to learn more about their race and how they adapted on a single planet for so many years while leaving the others vacant. In turn, the alien race shared their technology with the human race, advancing their knowledge of the other galaxy systems and aliens that roamed around space seeking new life and spreading their knowledge. That was the first step towards space travel.
In the year 3465, most, if not all of Earth’s solar system is now inhabited by various creatures and beings from other worlds, mixing and breeding with one another, including humans. But, that came at a most horrid time when peace between the inner and outer planets had failed, pitting one side against the other in a colossal war. The two main factions were the Western Retaliation Front (WRF) and the Eastern Galactic Separatists (EGS). Both sides fought for dominance over Earth’s solar system for various resources, such as Mercury’s abundant water supply, Jupiter’s natural space fuel mines, to Pluto’s telecommunication outpost. A simple voice on each side arose armies which none the like have seen before of all species of the galaxy to fight for their own beliefs and dominance. Earth’s current King during those times could no longer be the advocator for both sides and remained neutral, while planet faced off with planet, brothers against brothers in a simple matter of territory and honor. The Great Space war lasted another 2000 years.

Until, suddenly, a group of soldiers banded together in secret and wiped out the lead forces of both opposing sides. Freeing its people from further destruction and damnation from the war; and slowly brining the fighting to a standstill until a chance of peace arose from the ashes of battle. It was not long for Earth to finally come from the shadows of silence to offer a peace negotiation between the two opposing forces, and finally bring peace to the planets once more. Eventually, both sides agreed that too much blood has been spilled, and a new treaty was signed to end the great space war once and for all. These warriors of the shadows were brought to light once the war was finished. Skilled fighters, computer hackers, medical officers, military soldiers and even common thief’s gathered together from both sides of the rings boarders to band together and do what they have to, and kill whom they must to make sure peace was brought to light. Humans and aliens alike banded together, sold their souls and made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure safety could be brought to the galaxy once more. Some perished, others survived with stories to tell their children, and always be ready to serve if peace were glooming in the shadows. They were known as the Shadow Soldier Corps (SSC), the King of Earth’s last trump card to save what little was left of his kingdom and territory against such rage and hatred. The members of the SSC were never publically named, but they remained ever the ready in case their king calls for them once more. Out of the 50 original Shadow Soldier Corps members from years past, only 3 remain alive, holding the secret of their past, and of their families past. But there are still next of kin sworn into the order by blood, once initiated into the SSC order, they will be forever bound by duty to answer the call when war threatens the very sanctity of peace.

The year is 4294…and war between the galaxy now stretching on a thin line, not just between the inner and outer rings of Earth solar system, but whole star systems themselves. Armies are rising to the Westward systems while the Eastern planets gather their war ships and make their treaties. Once more the W.R.F and E.G.S factions have risen for more than Earth’s solar system and resources, but for the star systems currently mapped out in the galaxy. The current King of Earth, King Brandon, cannot extend his please any more, for no ear shall listen to his words. Now, as a final desperate chance of hope, the King reaches out for those who answered his call before and fought in the shadows for the side of peace…the Shadow Soldier Corps. Little does the King of Earth know; the main reason there are only 3 remaining members alive is for the simple fact…not all of their deaths were simply natural.

This will be a Space Aged RPG, one hopefully to be filled with lots of action, adventure and suspense with the story line I have thought of. The year is 4294, and war is around the corner between the vast galaxies that surround Earth’s simple solar system. The “Shadow Soldier Corps” were a band of warriors gathered together from every race and creed to fight alongside Earth and bring peace once more to the galaxy. But with so little left, they must now protect the offspring of former members and recruit new soldiers to their corps with little time on their hands before the war consumes the galaxy. Now, things are at a much grander scale, one star system against another. Expect there to be lots of battles, tension and mysteries.

I am reserving 2 spots for the original “Soldiers of the Shadows” for myself and another member, so I will at least need two more. I would like to have about 6-7 members all together, but we’ll see who’s interested and what not and go from there. I will make a Backstage thread once more posts are up, and explain the role of the story from there.

Background: Elzorians are a species of humanoid aliens known for their skills with technology and synthetic intelligence. They are a highly technologically advanced species that has the natural ability to harness and control electricity. Their planets skys are one massive lightning storm constantly, because of this they have no direct sunlight and have very pale skin and UV sensative eyes. Elzorians are very distrustful of other species and find them bloodthirsty and primitive. This is why they never leave their planet and only make contact with other species for trade and occasional weapon manufacturing for the right price.

Keira was one of seven children chosen and trained since birth to be "Travelers". Since the Elzorians don't leave, they select a group of their own when needed to travel throughout the systems collecting information on planets, species, materials, and technologies. Because of their human-like appearance they are often mistaken for them and can travel undetected. She is currently on her mission to collect what she can, as well as trying to find one of her close friends who has been MIA for the last 5 years.

Subject's Weapons: Subject uses three weapons along with several packs of explosives hence subject's nickname in the SSC.

Main weapons system one is an energy adapted eight barrel minigun with power feeds on the hand grips. Is capable of firing over eighty thousand rounds a minute but due to instability at high tempuratures, power comsumption, and speed of barrels have a built in limitor of six hundred shots a minute. Accuracy is best at close to medium range. Very good anti-flyer weapon and suppression weapon. Can be mounted to a fixed spot and power source.

Main weapons system two is a micro-multitiped missile launcher with two settings. Setting one: Dummy missile > unguided and most powerful yield of the three. Can be programed with mini-scatter head also dummy for Area Effect. Setting two: Guided missile > Most accurate setting with three subsettings > Can be set to be Armor Piercing (Adendum: AP Missile can not use multi-tipped ability.), AoE incendiary or smoke, or Anti-vehical (AdendumL AV missile requires no more than 15 meters of clearence of structures and signiture lock before missile is armed.) Missile launcher's capacity is thirteen micro-missiles. Shoulder weapon only.

Main weapons system three is an old proto-blade before energy blades became efficent and effective. Warning. Do not take a hit from this blade. It's not pure energy nor solid metal. Armor ment to stop energy attacks will be partly effective. Metal part is super heated due to energy friction. Advisement is to engage with energy blade. Avoid taking repeated hits.

Subject is a master demolitionist. Carries a small pouch of high explosives inside her right thigh. Grenades in her left thigh. Though small HE could be used to blow lightly armored or unarmored objects with a splash radius of five meters. Grenades are standard yields. Still deadly.

Subject's Occupation: Unemployed bounty hunter.

Subject's Skills: Can hack any computer via wireless or physical means. Is a great at blowing things up. Can space walk without need for enviromental suits. Also thanks to her mobile node. Can repair severe damage using a sufficent external power source.

Subject's Bio: Feltra is from a mix family of High born and Low born. Father being low born and mother being high born. Chosen by her mother to be the third generation of an experimental new type of cast which was objected by her father. The mother ignored any objection due to low success rate and proceeded with the option. Using this as political move to gain more power. Eventually the father decided if he could not have his daughter normal then he would make her unique. Rarely done due to adaptive military grade firewalls and attack barriers. The father changed key programs and genetic codes. Result is a successful birth and daughter being unique....not resembling any of her mother. Though never proven it is theorized that her father hacked into the dna-machine node himself and had a special mobile node built for his daughter's use only. Reasons unknown.

During her young life. Her father took her off the house property and showed her what the universe really looks like unlike her mother who wanted her to remain in the lap of luxary and under the belieft that her path in life was being a politian. She learned how to hack from her father along with basic weapons use. Eventually her mother caught on and devorced her father. She then gained full custody of their daughter and banished all contact with his daughter in an attempt to undo...brainwashing. As she went along with her mother's plan to gain even more power...she became ever so distant of her mother and sneaked off to military boot camp. Passing boot camp easily she then went into Demolition training. As she graduated her mother put her under house arrest. After three years being watched constently. Feltra recieved a message from her father via her mobile node. In it where a location and a date to meet him at. She staged her escape and went to the location on the date only to find a ship and the weapons she uses now along with the armor.

Since then. She's spent her time capturing bounties while on the search for her father. Evidently...one job got botched and she ended up betrayed and now wanted by a past employeer. She ended up without money nor her own ship as her last partner stole it during the backstab. As she makes her way on small bounties. She gets a message from her father again..telling her to head to earth. So she hops onto the next cruise liner to Earth and thus on her voyage runs into ruthless mercs and her old ship. Making it to Earth after an incident near Earth's moon, Luna.

Name: T’kires Valiras of Zionix

Race: Vourian

Background: Vourians typically stand between six and a half foot to seven and a half feet tall, have two long, proportionately thick fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, each tipped with talons, and a set of mandibles around their mouths. The most distinguishing feature of Vourians is their metallic carapace, which is a result of their evolution. Vourian features areavian, making them resemble humanoid birds or raptors, however unlike most Earth avian creatures, turians are viviparous and give birth to live young.

Males and females do not differ greatly in physical appearance, but female turians lack the crest of horns found in the males of the race. The lifespan of a turian is comparable to about seven human life spans.
Vourians wear elaborate face paint marking their tribe of origin, though it is hard to tell which markings distinguish which tribes the markings come in many different shades of color that only species with extremely good eyesight can tell the small difference in hue. The more intricate the markings are the higher up and trusted that Vourian is.

Vourians exhibit the characteristics of predators rather than those of prey species. Their forward-facing alert eyes give the impression that they possess outstanding eyesight and their teeth and jaws mimic the structures possessed by apex predators such as crocodiles or ancient, carnivorous dinosaurs. Their talons on both their feet and hands seem capable of ripping flesh. Their slender bodies also seem to suggest that they are also capable of moving at high speeds.

The Vourian homeworld, Palaven, has a metal-poor core, generating a weak magnetic field and allowing more solar radiation into the atmosphere. To deal with this, most forms of life on Palaven evolved some form of metallic exoskeleton to protect themselves. Their reflective interlocking plate-like skin makes Vourians less susceptible to mid-level radiation exposure but does not decrease mobility. A Vourian’s thick skin does not stop projectiles and directed energy bolts but most blunt force blows tend to have no effect. There also resides a layer of insulation underneath their natural armor negating the effects of stun guns unless it can pierce the armor and the thin layer underneath.

Vourian blood has a dark blue colouration, possibly from the presence of hemocyanin rather than hemoglobin, which would fit with the biology of a metallic exoskeleton. The Vourian’s have had to switch to a nearby planet of Gorathas their homeworld has died and solar winds have killed everything that resided there

A vourians eyesight is one of the strongest in the galaxy giving them the ability to see up to three to four miles unaided clearly with no near or far sighted side effects. their hearing is also extremely unique as their ears are independent or each other allowing them to listen to two seperate things at once and is extremely sharp and powerful. Vourians are not the fastest species in the galaxy but are up there but their agility more then makes up for it due to their reverse jointed legs similiar to that of predatory dinosaurs . The fact that they posses an exoskeleton and an internal one makes them extremely robust and durable

Codename: Crimson Angel

Personality: Has become quite over the years due to an accident that has happened years ago. Has a hard time opening up but can carry on a conversation with the best. Due to his years of work as an assassin he has the ability to let nothing show or give him away. That and after the rest of his tribe died in the death of the Vourian homeworld he is the last remaining member which has given him the honor of all his tribe making him the youngest and most respect member in political side of the Vourian culture.

Job: Assassin/ Info Broker. His job as a manager of the ‘bars’ that Vourians use to run their business of bounty hunting and guns for hire. Vourians have their hands in almost every dealing across the galaxy but due to the extreme proffinceny of their race they tend to be left alone. They do hold respect for the law and tend to stay in the middle ground staying neutral with everyone.

Unlike the custom of the Vourian race to never remove the face paint, T’kires does his whenever he is on a job as to keep his identity secret as every Vourian looks almost exactly alike.

Name: Savarious Vectis Almonious Malgus – Goes by Vectis by people in the SSC

Codename: Red Dawn

Race: Sithan

.Background: A race of beings that have lived most of their existence in seclusion, preferring to remain amongst themselves rather than interact with others in the universe as they are one of the most recent additions to the galaxy. Being of a rare species, they are easy to pick out of crowds with red skin that varies in hughes from bright red to almost purple. They can have raised bone structures that give more definition to their faces, while also having tendril like attributes as well. They also vary in physic as most look humanoid but others look more beastly with a hunched shoulders and broader body; they are slightly stronger but lack a strong telekinetic ability.
The Sithan’s also share enhanced mental ability and longevity, all of them having enough ability to pick up random thoughts and manipulate simple objects. The ability grows as the Sithan grows and ages, age means little to them as the longest recorded Sithan passed on after roughly 3000 years old. Their planet is undisclosed as they despise outside interference and have gotten on well enough on their own, even the name of the planet itself is hidden from formal records. The racial name given to the Sithan coming from people seeing and dealing with them, associating them as sinister and snake like, they just haven’t bothered to correct anyone.

The race has advanced so far and well on their own, that they developed a sense of superiority that seems common among the few Sithan that interact with the galaxy. Sithan’s are also notorious for being secretive and closed off as they don’t believe other races are worthy of their knowledge or secrets, few obtain the respect for this and fewer live long enough to put it to use.

Age: No official record, estimated between 500-1000

Personality: Vectis shares many qualities that people have come to expect from his race, he is secretive and guarded from others, he talks when he feels like it, whether it is wanted or not. He has no issue with pushing someone out of the way to do what he needs to; he also has no qualms with reading the thoughts of others without their permission. All of this stemming from when he was raised on his home world, through very strict and methodical ways of raising their young to be strong and purposeful in their lives.

However, his natural born feeling of superiority has manifested itself into his humor, turning most conversations into times for him to speak highly of himself or to berate others in his cold voice. He does have a strong sense of pride and honor that is more witnessed by the fact that he has put himself in the position of being a member of the SSC, loyal to any who show him the same respect but also unforgiving to traitors or people who betray his trust. For the time being, Vectis maintains a leadership role as one of the remaining members of the SSC, until another comes with the right stuff.

Appearance: Vectis stands at a height of 6 feet 2 inches, with a regal stance of his head held high and his chest slightly puffed out. He is a more humanoid version of his race, being able to relate to humans more easily than the others of his race. He generally has a cold look on his face and a hard look in his red eyes, the only time it passes from his face is when he puts on his smug look.

Job: Current employment undisclosed to public record

Weapon(s): Vectis carries two energy blades on his person at all times, both strapped to his waist on opposite sides. He also has cybernetic enhancements that are woven into all of his clothes, these enhancements directly amplifying his natural mental abilities to be able to move heavy objects and deflect laser blasts that he can see coming his way.

Skills: Vectis brings two particular skills to the SSC, one his several centuries’ worth of experience with both other races and his experience with his energy blades making him one of the few masters of the art. His other contribution is his light mental abilities that let him influence the minds of others if they are untrained and to hear the random thoughts people let slip.

Name: Zenadale "Zen" Sappor

Age: 267 Years of Age (Calculated by humans)
Race: Nymphentile
Appearance:
Job: Zen is a member of the Galactic Police, he's been with the department for about 50 years of his lifetime and has climbed the ranks for his near perfect arrest and service record.

Weapons: Zen carries two blaster pistols on his side belt when wearing his uniform. Standard issued blasters given to every officer. But, for his race and size, Zen is best when fighting hand to hand.

Background: Zen is the only offspring of Torroth Sappor, the founding member of the Shadow Soldier Corps back during the Great Space War. When Torroth was stationed to Earth to protect the kind, he managed to save the life of a young human female during a rebel attack on the King's Palace. Ever since then, Torroth courted the young woman. After two years, and at the wars end when the King of Earth finally brought peace back to the Solar System, Torroth married the human female. A year later, Zen was born on his home planet outside of the solar system where Torroth came from. Having spent his time there training and doing much of his schooling, the boy eventually moved back to Earth with his parents and began his own life.

Having a strong sense of justice and morality, Zen joined the Galaxy Police and was lucky enough to be stationed at Earth, close to family and friends. The Nymphentile loves his job and uses his full potential to capturing criminals and those who dare threaten the peace of his home planet.

Skills: Zen is a tactile fighter, his heightened hearing and reflexes are said to be almost cat like. He is strong for his species, which is rare for his mixture of human DNA, but that hasn't limited the man's ability to hold himself in a fight. His strength is near jugernaut, but has its limitations after exhausting all his energy if used at once.
