American Pie by Don McLean...the original 8 minute version. It's amazing how someone can write a song that relates to the way things happened but yet, not that many people understand the song. I actually wrote a patriotism essay about it lol. Sometimes when I feel really down, Your Winter by Sister Hazel is the song I listen to...it's really amazing. SOrry Seems To Be The Hardest WOrd by Blue... I have a thing with sad songs lol. I usually like metal and rock and stuff but I have a soft spot for slow songs. Me and my friend have been waiting since forever for this next album. She checked their site almost everyday waiting for updates lol. No, we're not fans...really...*smiles* I got Hybrid Theory coz I liked In the End when I heard it. Linkin Park totally turned me from a teenybopper to a...me. I got reanimation the first day it came out lol. I prolly won't do the same with Meteora. AND JUST THIS...rap oriented? RAP ORIENTED??? rap oriented my ***. I'm sorry but linkin park is anything BUT rap. if you call what mike does rap, you have serious issues. its called MCing because it's not rap...DUH! oh and ANOTHER THING...reanimation was not crap. It was really good considering most remix albums just have a simple dance beat slapped behind them. All the songs were totally reinvented, new lyrics, a new feel to every song, and it took ages to make. I'm looking forward to meteora Bye

Ah the radio, it used to be such a simple thing. Until it turned...well....crap. Here theres basically 5 stations. 92.9 - mainstream pop...i used to be dedicated...i now generally can't stand anything they play. 93.7 (NOVA)- This was good when it first started about a month ago, but now they play like dance and pop and lots of Nelly. Yuk. 94.5 - This is the so-called "oldies" station. I listen to it now coz i like oldies rock lol...and plus all the other stations suk. 96 - like 92.9, just worse. 99.3 - JJJ...plays mainly australian unknown artists, punk, etc. The stuff no one else plays. Not mainstream basically. The songs they too much are...Lose Yourself by Eminem (someone hand me a bucket), WOrk It by Missy Elliot *shudders* and anything by Avril. It would be nice if they played Linkin Park...just not In The End...that's the only song of theirs they play. We don't get to see American Idol here. How rude! I've seen clips of it on Entertainment Tonight, and some of them really suck! Sorry, but they do. I think I should go on there. lol. They had Popstars (3 series of it) in Australia, and the first series produced Bardot, which have now brocken up after doing surprisingly well. The second series produced Scandalous, who had a couple of hits and then split up. The third series produced a solo singer, Scott Cain, who had one big hit, then dissapeared. He's now working with charities. Some of the people that didn't win Popstars actually did better than those that did. Examples are Danielle Stearman and Selwyn. Well I don't hate the Audioslave album, but it's not exactly what I hoped for. And Audioslave and mistake can go near eachother. For example. "The fact that Audioslave cancelled their show was a mistake" Please someone smuggle me into the BDO. I'll be forever grateful.

It's so unfair! I wanna go to BDO..only coz QOTSA and FF are playing lol. I wanted to go last year coz SOAD were up, but they didn't come to perth so it's like SCREWED! And plus, I'm too young to go. *sobs* Oh yeh, I don't have $90 for a ticket either. Looks like im up the creek without a paddle. I was gonna buy Songs for the Deaf but I bought the Audioslave album instead. BIG mistake.
