well... I think I just read some examples that my explanations on the pic aren't read ;) no, just kidding... But I have to say to both Kaisuke and KKC (about the blurry lines) that I clearly mentioned that in the post... The image doesn't fit in your screen... If you zoom in to it (in IE just hold your mouse over it for a few secs, and click the button in the lower left corner), the lines are supposed to be way less blurry... And I did mean to make them look like that :) As for the hair, I did make a mistake with that (black stroke, sry sara :D ) anyway, I've read your comments, and I did make some awful mistakes... :p and braidless baka, I did color it on the computer, only the lineart was drwan with pencil, but I didn't use watercolors (altough I might have tried that) daedalus

okay, I finally managed to get an image scanned... hehe... Well I suppose it was about time... :). I've worked quite some time on this one... And to be honest (I know it's not smart to like your own work, but yeah, sry... :p ) I like it quite much. Actually, it's a drawing of my girlfriend (altough she look quite different from the pic). Anyway, I made it on one afternoon or so :s I know, that's a little long, but hey... It's for my girlfriend, right :D Anyway, as you see, no stylized pic this time, just an ordinary manga girl pic... And btw, this time I really want comments on my drawings! Because, there are only a few people on this board, who actually comment, and help (thx guys, I won't call the names, but you know who you are :) ) So, let's have some commenting time ;) oh yeah, uhm... the pic is bigger then your screen is, I know... But please, don't let IE or netscape make it smaller, because the lines become really cr*p then, so... just keep it's original size :D daedalus

actually, I'm quite surprised... I have made quite some major mistakes in this picture, so I didn't expect you to like it... and even more because it's stylized... anyway, maybe I'll repost it, with the air fixed... Because that really s*cks big time, I know... Anyway, I always like some idea's on drawing, since my scanner has exploded a few days ago :p or if anyone wants me to make them something, PM me or something... yeah, the font isn't really good, I think... It's not only that it's quite a bad looking font (sry, this is not an insult, only my opinion...), there's more... the color is the same as the picture...that makes it harder to read...try another color? and last (and also least), *my opinion again*, could you edit the image a little more, I mean, this way, it looks quite like a photo? If you would edit it a little, it would look more...personal? anyway, it's still a cool banner, and I like the overall look of it, only some little details ruin the fun :p and I refuse, as Sara, to give a rating, because I don't want to give one :p daedalus (but I like the pic, so don't feel bad or something :D)

okay, here's another banner... I think this is my final one... I'm pretty proud of it, though I didn't draw the flying man myself (I did make him lineart, and I did cut him out of the original img, and even that was a lot of work... well, it's a very simple one... I only used black, white and grey, but I think it isn't really plain, right? Of course you're always welcome to comment... daedalus

Okay... Only some of you will have seen it, but I posted a dragon pic some days ago. It was slightly stylized... Now I'm finished with another (complete) pic... this time it's a dinosaurus rider :laugh: no really, don't laugh with me... And this time I really made it almost popup... It's supposed to be special... I know it looks kind of weird, but plz consider that this also is the special style I used for it...:cross: And I did draw it myself... (btw the whole style-thingy is just an excuse of bad drawing, you know :D ) no, seriously, tell me what you think of it... It's made with the purpose of being commented...:p daedalus

yeah that's right but I suppose that's because of the program you used? (paint? :D ) I have to say that the background looks quite 'busy', but as long as I haven't seen the result, I won't say anything

okay, here's another banner. This is the 3rd I post in a short time :p. It's again one that only I can use :D its with daedalus on it and stuff, so I suppose you won't be able to use it... anyway, if I try to upload it somewhere else, I get problems... Of course I always like some comments... I know it's a little bit 'empty', but I do quite like it myself, I suppose it's just my style... daedalus

Okay I'll enter this as my drawing... I know it's not very obvious, so I'll explain it (just a little, you have to find the symbolic in it yourself :cross: well I'm not sure if you can see it (b/c I had to resize the img), but the four 'loupes' all have an element background. (air, fire, water, earth). They represent my feelings (hyperactive, angry, slow, stubborn). I know these aren't all the feelings I could have drawn, but for me, they are the most typical. And in every 'loupe' there also is an insect. I chose the specific insect because they match the most with the represented feelings (in my opinion...;) ) and for the ones who would want to know, I did draw the insects myself, only they are resized so much you can hardly see it. (as for the elements, I didn't, they are photo's I found them on the net, but I did edit them [filters etc], altough they aren't drawn by myself.) And the big background was also drawn by me, I used a lot of editing on that. There are more explanations about the drawing, but I'm not going to tell you, because then the clue would be gone...:D I suppose it looks a little simple, but I can assure a had loads of work on this one... I've probably missed something, but what's all the stuff about penguins? is it the second banner? well actually it's a raven I believe... but don't worry, I don't take it as an insult :smirk: I dunno... I just looked at them... I think I have lowered the quality too much... in the original (especially the daed.ban) u could see much more contrast... well I guess I will let it be :rolleyes: I've pm'ed james 'bout the [img] problem... well... I'm not really a DBZ fan neither, but the pic on its own is pretty good, I think you have some talent there... As for the colors, since you mentioned it yourself, I won't really bother u about it... Perhaps u could edit it with photoshop or paint shop pro (at least if u have something like those...) the big picture is quite good, although I just don't like his bumpy head :D (not especially ur pic, it's always like that) and the little one is really good actually. (but I am that kind of person that always has something to ruin the fun) I am not sure, coz my screen may display it wrong, but I have the impression that the arms are in a wrong position (not sure!) anyway, nice pic...
