1. Thanks a lot. Now I can order Fire Emblem :D I don't think you really needed to post this in this topic, heh. From the other posts of yours that I've seen, I know that you're a good member and that you can do better than this, so try not to be so spammy next time. Thanks. - Shinmaru
2. What I mean is can a PAL Gamecube and PAL GameBoy Player play an American game? I really want Fire Emblem :flaming: Thanks in advance.
3. Great review! Do you regularly review Gamecube games, or just occasionaly? Oh and don't worry, I'll have lots of fun with LoZ:CE :D
4. I can't wait to play it! I need to recover from standing in a 1/2 hour queue. I'll give you my first impressions when I play it
5. The Heavyarms is a good suit, but I like most of the other suits a lot more. This would have to be my favorite mubile suit list in Wing: 1)Tallgeese 2)Epyon 3)Tallgeese II 4)Wing Zero 5)Altron (Nataku) 6)Deathsythe Hell 7)Heavyarms 8)Sandrock If we're talking Endless Waltz though: 1)Tallgeese III 2)Heavyarms Kai/Custom (whichever you like to call it) 3)Deathscythe Hell 4)Altron (Nataku) 5)Wing Zero 7)Sandrock
6.
Originally posted by PoisonTongue That is just...the epitome of what a deathmatch should be. A situation in which the gamers are so in tune with each other, that a simple nod or eye motion, or grunt even, can synchronize 2 gamers' efforts in perfect unison. The most beautiful thing about gaming is human interaction, regardless of platform, price, LAN speed, etc. If one has a working relationship in their deathmatches, more power to them.
I totally agree with you. I've had my share of fun deathmatches on SSBM. Many of those involved me fleeing from two Falcon Punching maniacs :D
7. Cool. May I just ask, is the Heavyarms Kai the blue upgrade in the Endless Waltz?
8.
Originally posted by Shinmaru I just thought of another good game: Power Stone 2 for the Dreamcast. Power Stone 2 was a very good Smash Bros. esque game that had some very good ideas. This was the game that included the intricately interactive levels that I really hoped (and luckily, they were) would be implemented in Super Smash Bros. Melee. If you've ever played this game, you know that some of the levels can get pretty intense. Whether you're running from a giant boulder, climbing up a waterfall, or trying to avoid lasers shot from cannons, the action never stops in these levels. The actual battles are very fun as well. Power Stone takes Smash Bros. weapons-based gameplay and bolsters it with about 50-60 odd different weapons that you can use. There aren't as many fighters in this game as there are in Smash Bros. Melee but the matches never really get too repetitive. Overall, if you still have a Dreamcast and you've never played this game (and you're bored with what's out right now), then this would be a very good pickup if you can find it.
Power Stone has it all. There's fast paced action, an RPG element with collecting and mixing items and there is the deep strategy involved with how you fight, what weapons you use, etc... I was a master at that game :D But sadly Dreamcast died away :flaming: and I was quite angry :demon: Many games I bought, great games (Jet Set Radio, Skies of Arcadia, Power Stone and the ultimate games IMO Shenmue and it's sequel) were traded in for a gamecube. It's great but it doesn't emulate the quality of Dreamcast if you ask me :worried:
9. Yes, that's right. On Toonami we still have Wing. I watched all 49 episodes plus the three-episode Endless Waltz over the last 51 days. I think they're restarting from episode one today. It's a shame you don't have it. For once I'm lucky to live where I do. It's hopeless for video games in the UK though :bawl:
10.
Originally posted by Shinmaru If you really want it, I would definitely buy it. The game is very well made, and you're not likely to see a deal like this anytime soon (I'm not sure how much 80 pounds is, but I'm pretty sure it's still a very good deal). My advice is if you really love the Legend of Zelda series, and you don't have one or more of the games on that disc (not to mention a GameCube), then you should hurry over to the store as fast as you can and buy the set. Even if they run out of copies of the disc, you don't have to buy the GCN, so I don't see the harm in at least going to the store and seeing if they have it in stock lol. But if you are able to pick up the game, know that you will be getting one of the best compiliations in gaming history. At least, in my opinion.
I would agree, one of the best compilations in gaming history... Well I will take a look. Thanks for the replies everyone :)
11. Well, the more I think about it the more it makes sense to do. At first I thought of it like this: £79.99 = Gamecube + Zelda Game Now I see it like this: £79.99 = Gamecube + Ocarina of Time + Majora's Mask + Adventure of Link + Legend of Zelda + Extra Control Pad I already played MM and OoT though I never did complete either (I got quite far in them though) and I haven't ever played the original LoZ or AoL. I think I'm going to go for it :excited: I just need £40 more (which should be easy with X-Mas and all :D ) but I'm worried they'll run out of stock of the LoZ:CE. This equation: £79.99 = Gamecube ... is far less appealing than the previous :bawl: I think what I'll do is go into town and see if they have them with the disk. If they do, that's great :D if not :( I'll have to wait and see
12. When I say trio, I mean which three would work the best together. The strongest would probably consist of Deathscythe, Wing Zero and Epyon or something similar, but I mean which work the best together. Personally I like the Mercurius, Vayeate and the Tallgeese. The Mercurius acts as the supporter using it's shields, while the Vayeate uses it's beam cannon to attack from range. Meanwhile the Tallgeese can get in close for some beam saber action. With these three mobile suits, you've got support from the Mercurius; long-distance offense with the Vayeate; and close-distance offense with the Tallgeese.
13. So, anyone got one? I'm considering buying a new Gamecube just to get one. It's a good deal if you think about it though: £79.99 = New Gamecube + 4 Full Zelda Games What would you do if you were me?
14. I found a better one! Thanks for all your help everyone!!!
15.
Originally posted by Hittokiri Zero This thread seems to be trash no explanations and what not but anyway... I personally fall victim to the masses and my two favorite gundams from Gundam Wing are the Wing Zero and Gundam Epyon. I'm also a big fan of Deathscythe Hell... The Wing Zero's design although quite basic in nature just has a certain 'knight in shining armor' glow to it. It's twin buster rifle is a nice weapon as well -_+. Epyon I guess it's the speed factor and all close range combat (weapons) that draw me towards this Gundam. Then there is the Deathscythe Hell... Plain pimp factor right ''thur'' a scythe as a weapon and big batman wings to boast? What more could you ask for XD. The truth is I guess I don't quite hate any of the gundams from GW my least 3 favorite would have to be... 1. Sandrock 2. Shenlong 3. Heavy Arms Yep yep...
I can see where you're coming from. I'll tell you why I like the Epyon. First of all, I love dragons. I collect dragon figurines, and the Epyon is as close to a dragon as Gundam Wing can offer. Zechs pilots it, who happens to be my fav Gundam Wing character. Lastly I love it's heat whip weapon. The episode where Heero pilots it for the first time, it's amazing how he just cuts through the Rommafeller suits as if they were butter.
