Okay, first off, slow down a bit when typing. I had to read that post like four times before I got what you were saying. Anime's pros and cons hunh? Well, there are a lot of pros, but I've got one con, but this goes for any serialized comic/manga/anime/cartoon. If you don't start from the beginning watching/reading it, you get easily confused. I tried to explain Naruto to my sister, and she didn't get any of it. The thing about anime is that there rarely any simple or simplistic anime story.

Okay, I will admit that Nana and Death Note did great in Japan, but that's the thing, they were in Japan. Also, to my knowledge, neither features much in the way of psychic duels to the death, giant robots, or people battling in outer space. Also, you have to think about the American veiwing public. That's the deciding factor right there.

I think I would have to agree that mainstream America and anime have some issues with each other. First off, I don't think that you should make cartoons into live actions. Mostly cause they don't live up to the fans' expections, and people get ticked. Secondly, I've seen Akira and loved it. To make it into a live action would only be good to me, if the live action were a great one. Sorry, but too many things against it being great. In my opinion, they need to leave it an anime. I've also heard of several other animes that could be made into live actions in the future. Among them are Evangelion and DBZ. I pray to God that they fall through. It would only ruin a good rep.

I know the reason I love anime so much is that no two anime are just alike. There are similarities, but for the most part every story is original. You also see stuff that in America is not the norm. On American TV there aren't any really good cartoons aimed for older audiences, except for anime.

My screen names usual differ site to site, so I've got a bunch, and almost all of them refer to any of my favorite anime/manga or to the instrument I play in band. The one for this site I thought up because I was writing a story that dealt with the fact that the world isn't black and white. Of course, the yinyang symbol is black and white.

Okay, this is my first ever fanfiction, so don't harangue me too much. This is a crossover between Sailor Moon, Saint Seiya, and Ronin Warriors. Enjoy! Disclaimer: I do not own either Sailor Moon, Ronin Warriors, or Saint Seiya. I did this purely for the enjoyment of myself and others. Put simply, I ain?t getting paid for it. Enjoy! [CENTER]The Trine[/CENTER] PROLOGUE Rini watched the moon rise. She was thinking over the events that had transpired. A new enemy had arisen, and he was a powerful foe. ?Rini! Ceres found something!? Rini whirled around in shock. Her younger sister, Miranah, stood in the doorway to Rini?s bedroom, a hopeful expression on her face. The two princesses raced to the Great Library. They burst in, and gathered there were the other eight princesses of the solar system and their allies from the Zodiac Galaxies. Sailors Virgo, Aquarius, Libra, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, and Scorpio were present, the others were out on patrol. Rini asked, ?What have you found Ceres?? Ceres cleared her throat. ?I found an old prophecy and a story to go with it. The prophecy says: When an ancient evil arises again, The Trine of Power must reunite. The Queens of the Planets, The Knights of the Stars, The Samurai of the Soul, To destroy and defend, They who lived long before, Shall live again. With the prophecy I found a story. Long ago when the worlds were young, three groups of warriors defended them from evil. One group specialized in fighting any evil gods that threatened. Another in demons. The last group was a catch all, any that got past the first two, they fought. This last group is very likely the forerunners of us Sailor Senshi. Together the three groups were called the Trine of Power. They had two big allies, a man called the Ancient, and the Greek battle goddess Athena. The leaders of the Trine were actually two women, the Lady of Sol?s Inferno and the Lady of Luna?s Beauty.? Ceres paused to let everyone absorb the information. She stated calmly, ?If we can find the Knights of the Stars and the Samurai of the Soul, we could defeat Nothing.? Rini nodded. ?Princess Nyx, Princess Rhea.? The two princesses stepped forward. ?Yes my lady??, Nyx asked, following Rini?s lead and falling back on formal titles. ?Could this have anything to do with that new door you found?? ?It might.? Rhea answered. Rini nodded. ?Queen Praesepe of Virgo, Queen Lucifina of Aquarius. I ask that you through the door and try to see if the warriors we seek are in that dimension. At the very least, see what is there.?, she asked. Praesepe and Lucifina glanced at each other. They nodded. ?We will do it, Lady Cosmos.? Sorry, it took me awhile to get around to posting the first chapter. And please, tell me what you think. CHAPTER 1: WHEN SAILORS AND SAINTS COLLIDE! LITERALLY! The gold Saints of Cancer and Gemini were bored. They were hanging out in the garden of Gemini Temple. It was typical Grecian summer day, the air was sultry and the sky clear. Saga and Deathmask had become good friends ever since they had been revived. It also helped that they were neighbors, and neither Saga or his twin Kanon could cook. They regularly went over to Cancer Temple to eat. Of course, the usual rumors flew around, but since the Holy Wars were supposedly over, there was nothing to do but train and gossip. The calm was suddenly broken by an ear-splitting shriek. ?What in the hell . . .?, Saga began. Out of nowhere, a kid landed on him. He fell face forward, from the impact. Deathmask could only gape before he landed in a similar position. Saga lifted his head, ?Damn, my nose . . .? Deathmask followed suit, ?My back . . .? The weight left his back. ?Oh! I am so sorry!? The voice was soft and gentle. Deathmask turned his head to see and angel kneeling next to him. She had golden blonde hair and emerald eyes. ?Are you alright??, she asked. Saga sat up slowly. The kid turned out to be a little black-haired girl with red eyes. ?Are you okay??, she asked in a bubbly voice. ?Um, I?m fine.?, he answered. ?I?m sorry I fell on you.?, she said. ?As I am sorry I fell on you.?, the blonde said to Deathmask. ?Who and what are you? What is your business here??, Saga asked instantly on guard. They could be new enemies, but he doubted it. A kid and a gentle lady? Highly unlikely, but precautions still needed to be taken. ?Yeah people don?t normally fall from the sky.?, Deathmask said gruffly. The two females glanced at one another. The blonde spoke, ?My name is Praesepe, and this is my friend Lucifina.? The girl, Lucifina, continued, ?We are envoys of the princess of Neo-Silver Millennium. We are searching for someone.? Saga and Deathmask glanced at each other. Neo-Silver Millennium? ?Well, we?ve introduced ourselves. Who are you??, Praesepe said. ?I am Gold Saint Gemini Saga.? ?I?m Gold Saint Cancer Deathmask.? Lucifina wrinkled her nose. ?What?s a Gold Saint?? ?A Saint is a warrior dedicated to Athena. We Golden Saints are the highest ranked.?, Saga explained. ?Oooh.? Lucifina said. Praesepe laid a hand on Deathmask?s arm. ?You serve Athena?? Deathmask answered, ?Yes. Why?? Lucifina spoke, ?May we see her?? The two Saints shared another look. ?I guess you may.?, Saga answered. ?Good. We really need her help.?, Praesepe stated. Praesepe sighed in relief. Good, a lead. Maybe this world held the key. The two Saints led the two Senshi up flight upon flight of stairs. :The only good thing about this is watching their butts. The Gemini has a nice one.: :Lucifina!: :Oh, come on Praesepe! You have to agree that they are scrumptious!: Praesepe tried to hold in her laughter. Anyone looking at the Sailor of Aquarius would see a girl of about ten, but that was just a disguise. Lucifina was a Daemonite, a race of people who hunted and ate demons, who were a cousin race. Daemonites disguised themselves through their vulnerable teen/adult years. When they found their mates, they were given new powers that allowed them to hunt demons. In reality, Lucifina was about seventeen. Finally, the group reached the main temple. It loomed over them, making Lucifina feel even smaller. She hated her disguise, but she couldn?t reveal her true form. Who knows what evil roamed this world. A man in flowing white robes greeted them. Saga and Deathmask bowed low. ?Pope Shion.?, Saga said, ?These two ladies have requested an audience with Lady Athena.? Shion looked them over. Praesepe could tell he was doing what the other two had done, writing them off as not being threats. She smiled unconsciously. Men, they never considered what a woman could hide up her sleeve. Shion was uneasy. Something was telling him that these two were not a threat, but the blonde?s knowing smile unsettled him. He hated when some one knew something he didn?t. ?This way.?, he said. The four followed him to Athena?s throne room. She was seated, speaking quietly to the Silver Eagle Saint, Marin. She looked up and Marin turned. ?My lady, these two ladies wish to speak to you.?, Shion said. Athena smiled at them. ?I would be glad to speak with them. What is it that you need Ms. . . .?? ?Queen Praesepe of Virgo.? ?Queen Lucifina of Aquarius.? The Saints and Athena?s mouths dropped open. ?Queens!?? ?What do you mean??, Saga choked. ?In our world, all planets are ruled by matriarchies because only females can tap into the celestial power. Every planet, every star, every celestial body has a female guardian called a Sailor Senshi or Scout. They are also the rulers of the planets. We are Sailor Senshi sent on a mission by the leader of our faction.? Praesepe explained. ?A new enemy has arisen in our world. He has gathered together the corrupt Sailors in our world and his ultimate goal is to take over the universe. The only Senshi who stand in his way are our allies. Our leader sent us here to find two groups we hope will help us. We can across a prophesy that looked promising. It spoke of the Trine of Power, and one of it?s chief allies, you Lady Athena. We have come here to ask your help.?, Lucifina continued. Athena leaned down and whispered something to Marin. She left. ?What is the Trine of Power??, Shion asked. ?It was a force made up of three groups, the text didn?t give any names, but the prophesy speaks of the Queens of the Planets, the Knights of the Stars, and the Samurai of the Soul. We have reason to believe our forerunners made up a part of the Trine.?, Praesepe answered. Athena sat pensively on her throne. She didn?t know how much she should tell them. She knew of the others groups they were looking for, but the Rules of Fate said she could not just tell them. She could only guide them. Suddenly the proverbial light bulb clicked on. ?Understand this Sailors, I can not just tell you who the others are, but I can help guide you. I will give you one clue. Every one of my Saints is guarded by a constellation. Some call them my cavaliers.? Lucifina?s face brightened. ?And Bingo was his name-o! The Saints are the Knights of the Stars! Constellations are made of stars and a cavalier is sort of like a knight!? A look of new hope flashed across Praesepe?s face. ?Lucifina, we must send a message to Rini! She?ll be ecstatic!? Athena smiled inwardly. She had been a little easy on them, but if the evil was who she thought it was, they needed that break. My thing is the media spent an entire week flipping out over it, and any other real news was pretty much nonexistant. And then they dropped the charges! All that hoopla over nothing. Gives the term "media circus" a whole new meaning.

I totally agree with Dead, John, and Shinmaru. You can't just turn on the radio and think that is all there is out there. You also can't judge todays music by the 80's. Musical styles and trends change, music is not static. Here are a few bands I like: Lacuna Coil (Shinmaru mentioned the lead singer Cristina Scabbia), System of a Down, Lostprophets, Atreyu, HIM, Coheed and Cambria, Fuel, Hinder, Three Days Grace, and a bunch of others. Instead of sitting on your butt whining about how music isn't as good as it used to be, just go find some that you like.

Personally, my favorite SOAD song is "Arials". I like most of their other songs, but that one is my personal favorite. By the way, SOAD song lyrics always mean something. Farto, if you want a nice straight foward SOAD song, listen to the first song on Toxicity. I believe its called "The Prison Song" but I could be wrong. Hey that rhymes!

Hey, I love Saint Seiya too! I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, I have not been able to see the entire anime or manga series. I just read somewhere that ADV has stopped releasing Saint Seiya on DVD because they only had the lisence for the first 60 episodes. By the way if you heard someone screaming NO! last night around 10, that was me. Thankfully I can at least get the manga. :D

Favorite badass? That award has to go to Ikki from Saint Seiya; Gaara from Naruto; and Lust from Full Metal Alchemist. Ikki was cool because he was bad then good, but still kicked everyone's butt who crossed him. Gaara has those creepy eyes, and such a sad back story, you wnat to hug him, but you know that would be suicidal. Lust was cool because she had no problem handing you your butt on a platter, and she had a cool design.

Its a little fuzzy, but I do remember dreaming once about being Saori Kido from Saint Seiya. I think it was when I first started watching the uncut version. Anyway, in the dream I was captured by someone and for some reason Kiki rescued me. Weird. I had another dream awhile ago that I was in a video store that sold anime, and was looking for Sailor Moon and Saint Seiya DVDs. I walked around the store like five times, but all the anime was either Yugioh or Inuyasha. Another weird one.

Favorite Character: Rini. That kid has gone through a lot and is still close to normal. Least Favorite Character: Alan and Ann. Saw them once, never wanted to again. FAvorite Season: The one were Rini first appears. Least Favorite Season: THe one with Alan and Ann. Seen the fifth season: No. CN canceled it and the nearest Suncoast closed down. Dang it. DIC and CN: Did okay except those first few episodes were Serena sounded way high pitched. Grated on my nerves.
