2. Sorry I haven't been around... i got a bit distracted... I'm back now though, and I don't want to quit. I just tend to have the attention span of a hamster... :animesigh
3. I don't think I'm superstitious.. though I must say that for me, anyway, it seems like if anything out of the ordinary happens, it's something good, not something bad... One thing that's always bugged me about superstitions.. airplanes don't have a row numbered 13... that's never made sense to me.. it's not like it matters if you number it 14, it's still the 13th row....
4. 1. Kenshin - Rurouni Kenshin 2. Sagara Sanosuke - Rurouni Kenshin 3. Uchiha Itachi - Naruto 4. Amano Ginji - GetBackers 5. Sesshoumaru-sama - InuYasha
5.
But don't get me wrong, we sneer and jeer at you behind your back.
hehe... I've got some fond memories of tourist-mocking... and of course, now I never want to be one... Anyway.. I live, for the moment, on Long Island, New York. I was born here (Long Island) but we moved to texas when I was 5... then we moved to India, then I went to school in Thailand for 5 years, so I'm not from anywhere in particular... I don't know anything about people here... cos I don't go anywhere (yes, pitiful I know) Where I used to live we would sit in the mall and mock tourists... or hunt for hot marines.. on a sort-of side note.. has anyone ever met anyone on the amazing race? we always used to wish we could find some of them and "help" them by giving the some VERY accurate directions...
6.
You're on drugs. It's sex compressed in a can, with three shots of awesome and Holy Water blessed by God himself to ensure the taste rises above any other soft drink, and provides elightenment to all those willing to take the plunge and drink deep it's sweet nectar. Anyone who thinks otherwise is corrupted by Satan himself, living a life rife with sin and hate, and will find themselves burning in hell forever come judgement day and the destruction of mankind. In conclusion, stfu n00b.
what can I say... i love sugar :) guess I'm gonna burn...
7.
Actually, the first one is Dinky. See for yourself.
Ah, so it is...
...and anime Dubs are lackluster, as well.
...therefore, Subs. :)
8. Connection: Money... It's mostly Thai Baht.. it's worth about 20 bucks, in case anyone was wondering.
9. is it just me, or does the food in this place kind of suck? hm, well I have an idea about that.. I'll try to work it into my next post or two...
10. natsukashiiiiiiiiiiii Ok.. when I was really little, like 4 or 5, we didn't have a tv so whenever I visited my grandma, who did, I'd sit and watch nickelodeon all day... :) I'd watch Aah! Real Monsters and Doug and Rocco's Modern Life and Ren and Stimpy for some odd reason.. I really didn't like any of them... (well.. I liked Doug..) And I used to watch GUTS!.. the first one, then global guts... hehe the AGGRO CRAG!!!!! I always wanted to go on that show... uh.. Legends of the Hidden Temple, Salute Your Shorts!, Hey Dude, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Clarissa explains it all, All That.. Merry Melodies/Looney Tunes (I wish they still aired those :'() pretty much whatever was on. Then we moved, and got a tv... no cable though, and I watched Where in the world is carmen sandiego, Power Rangers!!! (I loved that show.. no idea why...) I think I used to watch Beast Wars sometimes.. uh.. Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Ghostwriter, Bill Nye the Science guy, ReBoot, Heh.. I remember seeing Sailor Moon a couple times and thinking it was the wierdest thing... As far as non-little-kid shows went... Star Trek: The Next Generation Xena: Warrior Princess Hercules: The Legendary Journeys Star Trek: Voyager X-Files (how many 7-year olds watch THAT show?? I was a strange child...) The we moved again, and I'd watch Captain Planet.... he's our hero... gonna take pollution down to zero... (oh god now it's stuck in my head... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!) Hmmm.. ah yeah, Speed Racer, Johnny Quest, Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Looney Tunes again, uh... blah too long ago can't remember... I watched random MTV top-whatever-number shows... And, of course, They're pinky, they're pinky and the brain brain, brain, brain, brain... I'm sure there were more.. I was practically glued to my TV when I was little...
11. Hmm.... beaches.. well, they're alright I guess... I've never actually swum in the ocean though, since I can hardly swim, and I'm pretty sure I'd die a horrible salty death. So I pretty much just sit and watch people, or read, or sit in the sun and laugh at the sunburnt people (yes, mean, I know... but lobster-people are funny :) ), or wade in the ocean (if it's one of those nice, peaceful, tiny-wave beaches) Very boring of me... I think beaches are best when you're actually staying on the beach for a vacation instead of just going for a day. If you just go for a day, then you wind up with sand everywhere, and it's no fun... I had sand stuck between the two layers of my swimsuit for months after one particularly sand-filled beach trip... For some reason when it's a vacation, the sand isn't so bad.. but maybe that's just because I get used to it or something...
12.
In Australia we have Pepsi Max, which is the same concept as Coke Zero and beat it to the punch by about, oh, 12 years. And it's delicious.[/color']
Pepsi MAX is nasty... as are all diet sodas.. but that one particularly... :) fake sugar: it's just not the same. I'd say the internets are my anti-drug... or my drug of choice, depending on how you look at it...
13. 7:38 Cho lay on her bed in a pink chenille robe, staring up at the sky and mulling over the events of the past day. This place is so completely not what I expected...The people here actually seem pretty decent, except for that old whatshisname guy... creepy... I need to find out how to keep that pompous old freak out of my head. Hey... she bounced up off of her bed This place has a library, right? Maybe there's something there that can help me! Quickly changing into a pair of cut-off denim shorts and a halter top, Cho grabbed her map from the desk and slipped out her door. ************* My, my, what a small library... Cho thought, looking around for some kind of directory or map to find her way through the rows and rows of books. She didn't see anyone at what looked to be the checkout counter, so after a moment's thought, she pulled her map from her pocket. Maybe this'll work in here too... She looked down at the map, which, thankfully, was now covered with a detailed rendering of the library. This map is a lifesaver... now, where are the books about mind-barrier-type stuff? A little path of arrows appeared on the map, leading up the main staircase and off into the library. That way, huh?... After more than a few twists and turns, some tightly-curving spiral staircases and a surprisingly sturdy ladder, Cho's trail of arrows ran out. She found herself standing in a small alcove, the walls lined with books of all shapes and sizes. This better be what I was looking for... Cho thought, walking over to the nearest shelf. Let's see... 'Your Mind & You'... sounds like it's got potential... 'What To Expect Whan You're Expecting A Mental Attack'?? Whoever named this had a strange sense of humor... Browsing the rest of the first shelf produced a stack of interesting-looking books, so Cho, seeing only some random pillows and such piled in a corner, dumped the books in the corner of the room with the most light, and dragged some of the cushions over, making herself comfortable. I hope I can find something useful in here... That bloody idiot won't get in my head so easily next time! OOC: She ain't going anywhere else today...
