SSBM Camera Mode Pictures
Well, I've finally managed to get my pictures from SSBM onto the 'net, so now all of you get to see my pictures! Since I have way too many to just use [img] tags, I'll just give links to them. They're all around 640x480, so they'll make good wallpaper, too! But anyway, here's the list:

Boxers or Briefs?
Cornarian Skies
Cutting Roy in Half!
Dangerous at Any Size
Dark Sheik
Dirty Hands
Duel of the Fates 1
Duel of the Fates 2
Flame Ridin' Zelda
Fox McCloud
Just Peachy
Kraid
Let Go of Me!
Link Faceplant
Link's Master Sword
Link's Spin Attack
Link
Love/Hate Relationship
Mario Bros. Dogpile 1
Mario Bros. Dogpile 2
Metal Link
Ninja Link
Oh Crap!
Ooo Soft!
Parasol Mario
Prepare to Die
Ready for Anything
Samus Aran
Samus' Grapling Beam
Samus' New Helmet
See Ya!
Stealth Falco
That's Gotta Hurt! 1
That's Gotta Hurt! 2
You're Coming With Me!

I'd just like to mention that the "Boxers or Briefs?" "Just Peachy" and "Dirty Hands" pictures were taken by one of my friends.

Mmmmhmmm, blaming it on your friend now eh? Lol, just playing around, I know you're not that type of person or are you?(Mysterious song plays)

Anyways, those are some very nice screen captures it must have took you a while for most of them, I'd even saved a few of them on my hardrive.

The one that I like the most is the screenshot of "Metal Link", its a masterpiece, well to me it is, lol.

These are some great shots. In particular, I'd have to say that my most favourite would be "Stealth Falco". It reminds me of Yoshimitsu's stealth attack which was in Sephiroth's "Tekken 5 screenshots thread", lol.

I remember one of my friends made a dirty pic. He somehow got Zelda's face popping out of Peach's butt!

Anyways, yeah your pics are awesome! I liked the Metal Link, You're Coming with Me, and Prepare to Die. I thought those were cool.

What exactly did you do to capture these? I figure I'll hook my GC into my video card and capture some images someday lol.

ATI's are wonderful! I do that with my PS2 when I want to screen capture maps and FMV. It's pretty good quality...

The shots you took are really cool, it's amazing how good the characters look close up...

*points at banner* I also love the Metal Link shot... Actually, that was me that was playing as Link for that shot, lol. My friend was controlling the camera and paused the game, so we could play around with the angle before he took the picture. He couldn't find a decent shot, so he let me try, and that's the best angle I could get. So I was playing as Link, and taking pictures of myself too, heheh.

But I got them onto my PC using a video card that has a TV tuner. My friend (the one that I mentioned in the first post) has one of those for his computer, and if he wants to play his GCN in his room, he just hooks it up to the video card. So, we would just go in and view the pictures full-screen in the game, and then do a screen capture on the PC. Then he burned a CD for me, with the pictures on it, and I uploaded them onto my little image storage site.

And yes, my friend really did take those pictures that I mentioned at the end of the first post. I, however did take the "Ooo Soft!" picture, lol. Zelda was doing a rolling dodge (though it's not actually a roll for her), and Ganondorf just happened to be doing one of his light punches (tapping the A button)... And, yeah, I just happened to pause it right then... I actually didn't intend for it to come out like that, I thought I'd get a shot of Ganondorf punching Zelda right in the face, lol, but she just happened to dodge... And then I laughed my butt off looking at the picture... The "You're Coming With Me!" shot is actually in that same scene, too. Zelda is just coming out of her dodge, and Ganondorf is bringing his hand back, after the light punch.

Also, some of these were taken by my brother, while I was playing as one of the characters. Such as the "Dangerous at Any Size" where I was Link, and a few others. Also, about the "Cornarian Skies" one... That was just filler, lol... We had three blocks left on the Memory Card 59 (I think it was three), and almost every shot took at least four blocks. So, we were messing around, and we found that.

I still wish SSBM allowed you take pictures when you pause in ANY mode. I hate having to pick Camera Mode, especially since I always seem to get the best angles when I'm playing something else.

Yeah, that annoys me too... Actually, I remember thinking about having something like that in the original SSB... I thought it would be really cool if you could play a Vs. match, and then go back through frame by frame, and save the ones that you liked. Of course, that'd require a lot of RAM on the system, to be able to stick a whole match into memory, so it really couldn't be done... But it'd be really cool if they could do it... But yeah, I've also had some really cool shots in other modes, and then I'd get annoyed that I couldn't save them.

One thing that annoys me about the Camera Mode, though, is that you don't get a totally free camera. I really wish they had made it so you could move the camera anywhere in the level, and on the other side of the characters, too, so you could circle around to get shots from any angle. I've had to just not take a few shots, because I couldn't get a decent angle. However, if I had been able to move the camera over around so I could be looking from the other direction, it would have been a great shot.

I was looking around on the Nintendo of Japan site and found these. Apparently, they were shots sent in for some kind of contest.

http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n01/n64/so...est/index.html

That's the first page, click on Next at the bottom to keep going. They all must have took a lot of planning and good timing.

Here are a few of them:

Lol, these are great. Just one question, and this probably would be considered a stupid question but, exactly how did you upload the pics from your GCN to the computer?

Nah, I wouldnt consider that a stupid question, thats got me wondering too, how did you guys upload those from the GCN onto your computer. Did you use some sort of hook-up? And if so where did you get it?

Lol, those are some good screen shots, my favs were "Oh Crap!","Oooo Soft", and "Parasol Mario." Good job!

Ive taken some really good shots also, I have a really nice one of Samus posing, and a super nice one of Link shotting an arrow at the screen! So i wanna be able to show everyone, so let me know how you did that.
