When do Brolli. Coola etc appear, (DBZ?)
ive heard of some characters that i havent seen in the series
yet i have nor seen or heard of when they appear

I think ive seen Brolli in a DBZ music video(prodigy) where he beats up Vegeta and then Goku jumps in front of Vegeta, (he was very tall and i think also a sayian)

And i know coola is friezas brother but when does he appear and
is he strong?

These guys only appear in the movies. They never show up in the series. That brings up an interesting thing. The Garlic Jr. Saga was never supposed to happen. It was DBZ Movie 1, and, by show of pattern, it wasn't supposed to show up in the series. I wonder why they put it in there?

I'm still sticking with my theory: they wanted to show Earth didn't need Goku to survive.

What? The Garlic Jr. Saga was supposed to happen! In DBZ movie 1 (Dead Zone), they defeated Garlic Jr. and sent him to his own "hell" (which would be Dead Zone). Once in Dead Zone, you are supposed to be locked there forver, alone, unable to return to Earth or any other planet/galaxy.But after they defeated Frieza at the end of the Frieza saga, Garlic Jr. somehow came back and opened up the Dead Zone once more. But Gohan saved everyone and sent Garlic Jr. back into the Dead Zone for good.

Hemmorhoid-You can see Coola (aka Cooler in the U.S.) in Cooler's Revenge (movie 5), which was just released.I'd recommend buying it on DVD (if you have a DVD player, that is).It includes the English Dolby Digital 5.1 version, the English Uncut version, the Spanish version, and the Japanese version (the Spanish and Japanese versions have subtitles, of course). It's really awesome.
Yes, Coola is strong, and he has 4 forms as opposed to Frieza's 3.It takes place right after the Frieza saga, I estimate between the Frieza and Garlic Jr. sagas. As for Brolli, I am not sure which movie(s) he is in.They/it have/has not been released.

To answer the "off topic question".. the Garlic Jr. Saga was mearly what we like to call "filler episodes".... it happens right after a big saga and right before another big saga... it reall yhas no relevance to either saga's and kind of stands by itself. Another example of this would be the Great Saiyaman saga.... whether or not is was "supposed" to happen is irrelevant.... the first was a movie, that they just happened to add a sequel to in the series. And at a fairly good time in the series as well. I thought it was well done, as far as placing and whatnot... the actual saga however falls shorts of being well done.

The answers to the original question have already been posted.

There are alot of characters you won't see in the series.

Dr. whatever his name was... I can't remember (Movie 2)
Taurus and his whole gang of people (Movie 3)
Lord Slug (Movie 4)
Koola (Movie 5, 6)
Androids 13, 14, and 15 (Movie 7)
Bojack and his gang (Movie 9)
Brolli (Movie 8, 10, and 11)
Janemba (Movie 12)
and Hildegarn (Movie 13)

Exactly, couldn't hav said it better myself.

Main point: those you see who were not in the series are in one of the thirteen movies. Thos movie hav nothung to do with the series, but are just one-hour specails to keep you entertained. My favorite is #13, but that's a different topic.

Yes, Cooler comes back. First real, then metal.

That movie shows about Goku's father's last days on earth and what he did, mainly. It's been dubbed for quite sum time, don't tell me u've nevr seen it in stores.

The first three (Tree of Might, World's Strongest, and Dead Zone) were pretty craptastic in my opinion, and didn't feature anything you don't normally see. After that, things picked up a little: Lord Slug Feature had more action and was longer than 30 minutes, and Cooler's Revenge (the only one I've actually seen) was one of the first really successful movies from Dragon Ball. (SHAMELESS PLUG--there's a review for Cooler's Revenge on my website, as well as a synopsis...the links in my sig.)

I live in the United States, and I can't buy them until they're released. I haven't seen anything past Cooler's Revenge yet, so I can't tell you. I have, however, read the summaries and reviews on theotaku.com/dragonball, and they sound like they're very good, especially the one with the three androids.

I think all the movies that have been released in the U.S. live up to the series.I'm a DBZ-aholic, so I've seen all of them, 1-5.They beat the bad guy basically the same way in all of them (a Spirit Bomb or a big energy blast that blasts the enemy into space), but the way they found Slug's weakness in Lord Slug (# 4) was pure genius. If you know that Lord Slug is a Namekian and you remember the Trunks saga (right after Goku comes back and Piccolo is able to hear Goku and Trunks' conversation), you should know what I mean, even if you haven't seen the movie. But I'm not going to give it away for those of you who don't happen to know what I'm talking about.

P.S. Bardock-the Father of Goku was about Goku's father receiving the gift of pyschic powers. He then foresees that Freeza (Frieza in the U.S.) plans to destroy Planet Vegeta (the home planet of the Saiyan race) and attempts to stop Freeza single-handedly, because none of the saiyans believe that the end of the planet is coming.Vegeta and Goku survive, though, because Vegeta was busy taking over another planet, and Goku was in a space pod headed for Earth. It wasn't about Bardock's last days on earth.
