Yup, it's me again. Bringing you another thread about the ever-popular MMORPGS. I know most of you are still stuck to glue at your computers probably playing WOW or WAR, but this coming year I think is about to bring about new (and hopefully) better MMO's then we have seen in years!

I don't know about many of you. But I miss the days of SWG, and alternative MMO's besides WOW clones were about. Even though I didn't like the last Final Fantasy online mmo', they seem to be coming out with something even bigger and better!

So first I would love to say I'm looking forward to Star Wars: The Old Republic Online even though it's not really a sandbox typical game. It has many cool features, and is the closest thing to a new SWG that you can get. Release Date hasn't been stated yet, but hoping it will be finished in 2010.

Second one, I would have to say Final Fantasy XVI which is due to release on 2010. It looks fantastic and I have always been a final fantasy fan. I hope that it will be sandbox as well. I'm sure they are going to put even more content in it!

So my question is what MMO's have you tried recently? And what MMO are you looking forward to the most? If you have no idea what they are feel free to check out mmorpg.com for more information. They have all the latest updates on MMO's. I'm hoping to see more OB gamers this year!

I'm a huge GW fan, so I will definitely be buying Guild Wars 2 - even if it means I need to buy a new computer! Haha.

I did see the trailer for it last night and it looks absolutely gorgeous. I'm interested to see how the story will fit in with the previous games in practice.

I'm looking forward to Black Prophecy. It's another pew pew internet spaceships MMO but unlike EVE etc it grants you full control over the ship, which will hopefully mean skill isn't limited to how well you can design a spreadsheet. It's being made by the same small German team who made a game called Neocron, one of few decent attempts at an mmofps. Oh, and it looks gorgeous too :p
