Hyper Posted December 1, 2002 Share Posted December 1, 2002 Balancing your deck is key. Keep it at a 1:1 ratio. That'll help. Try to get rid of those horrible tribute monsters. There are some that shouldn't be in any type of deck. Some cards like that are Gaia the Fierce Knight and Ryu-Ran. Get more Summoned Skulls, since it looks like your going for some type of beatdown. If you want a Harpy traps, add a Mirror Wall and around two Shadow of Eyes.(You put those under magics) Be sure to get the other magic staples. And add a few Mystical Space Typhoons. It contains many essential Amazoness cards. Also, your Harpy section looks aiight, but add another Harpy SB to boost up your atk. If you're going to use JP cards, use the JP names. Magic Jammer Note the deck's minimum size, lack of monsters, and HUGE trap count. With this deck, it's counter, counter, counter. It doesn't have a lot of offensive magic, mostly cards to negate my opponent's own or get Relinquished out. All others are misc. powerhouse cards. Relinquished is the star of the deck. Get him out with a Gravity Bind, absorb something up, and then start slapping the heck out of him. Morphing Jar #2 is the deck's most potentially devasating weapon. I've caused my opponent's to discard over half thier total deck from but one M Jar flip. With a combination of Call of the Haunted and Magical Hats, I can use it again, too. Ceasefire helps reveal face-down cards for Relinquished to absorb, plus it can do hefty damage if the situation is right. The deck has few monsters, and most are very very weak. I admit I need more monsters...that's the whole reason I only got 2nd place at the local tounament...I just didn't get enough defences! (Though I didn't get the second and third Gravity Binds until AFTER the tournament...) I may actually shave a M/T counter (*shock*) because the deck has that aspect practially mastered. I'm gonna put a Dream Clown in because his effect would absolutely be devastating in sync with Gravity Bind. You have 16, but Barrel Dragon and Relinquished aren't able to be used right away. So you have only 12:24 chance of getting an accesible monster right away. Thats not very good odds. Your deck doesn't seem all that focused. Drop the Dian Keto's seeing as how they aren't that good, and drop Metal Conversion as well. Mirror Force will do nicely, so drop the Negate Attack, Skull Dice, Bell of Destruction, and focus more on the staples. Please stop faking that you have some Japanese cards in your deck (i.e. Blood Volrus) because its not all that impressive. Drop Hinotama and add Thunder Bolt(e. Raigeki).
