crazygirl, I read that the deck got you to a good placing in the tournie, but what is the theme? I say you need s/t removal, such as Mystical Space Typhoon. Right now, I'd rate your deck 5/10.

[3] DMOC
[1] DM
[1] Jinzo
[3] Gemini Elf
[3] Skilled Dark Magician
[1] Breaker
[1] Cyber Jar
[1] Fiber Jar
[1] WOTBF

[3] MST
[1] HFD
[1] Heavy Storm
[1] Dark Hole
[1] Raigeki
[1] Monster Reborn
[1] Premature Burial
[1] Pot Of Greed
[1] Graceful Charity
[2] Nobleman Of Crossout
[1] Thousand Knives
[1] Painful Choice
[1] Mirage Of Nightmare
[1] Change Of Heart
[2] Diffusion Wave Motion
[1] Dedication Through Light And Darkness

[1] Mirror Force
[1] Call Of The Haunted
[1] Imperial Order
[2] Torrential Tribute
Total Cards: 40

The theme is clear enough. Just to prefent arguments, I will not add Ring Of Destruction, but I will consider all other suggestions. I'm thinking of removing Jinzo for another non-trib monster, but since they are essential to the theme, I cant remove DM or DMOC. What suggestions do you have?

I used to use that exact deck Cruizr, except minus the the 3 Dark Blades and one Dancing Fary and two Mystic Elfs. Although, I didn't fair very well. I blame it on the fact that I'm a very unlucky person. I never got the right card at the right time.

Have you used it much? Faired well? God. I haven't played this damn game in so long. Mayhaps I should get back into it.

The deck has faired me quite well. I've won roughly 25 duels with it since this last weekends tourny, and only lost 3. I have also had quite a few victories this week with 3-on-1 matches.. Winning 17 out of 18 duels with it. Although.. I think the people I chose to play may not have been very skilled. >_>

Scalvur:

-You could probably take out at least one Seven Tools and one Magic Jammer, since you have Jinzo and Imperial Order.
-Try and get some Mystical Space Typhoons or some other Spell/Trap removal.
-You should get rid of Dragon Capture Jar. If your opponent has no Dragons, it's basically useless.
-Maybe you should get some more offensive power. Your not going to get far just defending.

Here's my burner deck. Tips would be appreciated.

Okay, Angel. I suggest you drop Dark Necrofear for Airknight Parshath, simply because of his Trample and you get drawing power. Drop Ameba unless you are doing the Creature Swap move with it, and seeing as how there isn't a Creature Swap, I definetly suggest you drop it for maybe a Spear Dragon or an Amazoness SwordsWoman either way you'd be able to do damage to your opponent's life points.

For Traps I definetly suggest dropping Graverobber simply because it can hurt more than it can help. Put in a Nightmare Wheel or something else that hurts.

All in all I'd say besides those its a very good deck.

Domon, there is a Creature Swap in there. I traded one of my Lava Golem today. I replaced it with a Shinato. I also took out Giant Trunade and Axe of Despair for Shinato's Ark and Heavy Storm. Graverobber's in there to use with Barrel Behind the Door. It can also help me when I need to discard a card, like with Tribe-Infecting Virus or Wicked Breaking Flamberge - Baou. I think I'll take your advice and drop Dark Necrofear. It gets annoying when it's in your hand and you can't use it. But I don't have any of the cards you suggested. Thanks for the advice.

Welcome to OtakuBoards, toddy. ^_^

Unfortunately, your post was pretty much spam, and I had no choice but to delete it. OB doesn't have any specific requirements regarding post length (other than the one-word rule, that is), but the least you can do is attempt to write in complete, properly punctuated sentences.

If you have any questions about OB's policies--or, for that matter, about the purpose of this thread--don't hesitate to PM me or one of the other moderators.

Anyone who would like a personal deck fix, please PM your deck to me, and I'll get back to you ASAP. ^__^

Anyway, here are three new decks. Well, okay, one retooled old deck, and two new decks. ^^;

DeathBug's Demonic Disruption

Tribute Monsters:
The Dark Necrofear

Normal monsters:
Giant Orc
Slate Warrior
Archfiend soldier
Protector of the Sanctuary
Twin-Headed Wolf
Night Assailant x2
Newdoria
Dark Jeroid
Theban Nightmare
Kuriboh
Mystic Tomato
Tribe-Infecting Virus
Witch of the Black Forest
Sangan

Traps:
Waboku
Ring of destruction
Barrel Behind the Door
Reckless Greed
Rivalry of warlords

Magic:
Monster Reborn
Card Destruction
Pot of Greed
Dark Hole
Graceful Charity
Harpie's Feather Duster
Mystical Space Typhoon x3
Mirage of Nightmares
Big bang Shot
Puppet Magic of Dark Ruler
Riryoku
DD Designator
Confiscation
The forceful Sentry
Dimension Fusion
Nobleman of Crossout
Premature Burial
Scapegoat

Overview: Pretty elementary set-up, actually; Fiends tend to have effects that disrupt the opponent, so I add in hand-disruption Magic cards to totally dismantle my opponent's strategy. This deck has my two favorite combos in the entire game: Dark necrofear + Dimension Fusion, and Ring of Destruction + Barrel Behind the Door.

I still need to get heavy Storm, Call of the haunted, The End of Anubis, and Dark Ruler Hades. I'm unsure if I want to remove Giant Orc or Archfiend soldier to make room; I know I'll remove Protector of the sanctuary.

Here's a deck I don't own the cards for and won't actually construct, but ifanyone else wants to use it, go for it. ^__^

DeathBug's DEAD (Deck Erradication And Destruction)

Tribute Monsters:
Vampire Lord
Ryu-Kokki
Despair from the dark

Normal Monsters:
Pyramid Turtle x3
Vampire Lady x3
Soul-Absorbing bone tower x3
Spirit Reaper x2
Witch of the Black Forest
Sangan

Traps:
Call of the Haunted
Destruction Ring
Barrel Behind the Door
Judgement of anubis
Robbing Zombie x2

Magic:
Monster Reborn
Pot of Greed
Dark Hole
Graceful Charity
Premature Burial
M Space Typhoon x3
Mirage of Nightmare
Book of Life x3
Creature Swap x2
Card of Safe Return x2
Card Destruction
Call of the Mummy x2

Overlook: What we have here is a Zombie-Deck Destruction deck. Deck Destruction is hard to pull off in this game, because a card here and a card there just ain't gonna' have an effect on your opponent.

Hence, run the Deck destroying zombies in droves. Vampire Lord and Ladies are the main attack force, while the Bone Towers and Reapers are mostly defensive. The Bone Towers have a lot to work with, considering that there are twelve cards that can Special Summon zombies. (MR, CotH, PB, CotM x2, PT x3, BoL x3, V-Lord.) The Creature Swaps are for another satisfying combo: swap your tutles and searchers for and opposing monster, then destroy your own monster for your own search.

Card of Safe Return is there because you have seven cards that Special Summon from the Graveyard, and an therefore make use of it quite often. Ryu-Kokki and Despair from the Dark make for the brute force, and Robbing Zombie give an additional deck destruction option. Judgemewnt of Anubis protects all the continuos cards that will be on your side of the field.

Finally, a budget deck I'm building for my lil' sister, who wants to get into the game. She wants to play the unconventional Pyro deck, so I worked with the best I had availible.

DeathBug's Sibling Sizzle[/u[]

Normal Monsters:
Fire Princess
Blazing Impachi
Solar Flare Dragon x3
Iron Blacksmith Koitsu x2
UFO Turtle x2
The Thing in the Crater
The flame Spirit x2
Inferno x2
Witch of the Black Forest
Sangan

Traps:
Backfire x3
Waboku x3
Magic Cylinder

Magic:
Monster Reborn
Dark hole
Pot of Greed
Graceful Charity
M Space Typhoon x3
Ax of Despair x2
Emergency Provisions x2
Poison of the Old Man x3
Premature Burial
Heart of clear Water x2
Swords of Revealing Light

Lots to explain here. The Iron Blacksmith helps get out the equips, which are needed to support these monsters.

Ax of Despair is there to power up Inferno and the other weak monsters. Inferno, in particular. His effect is excellent, but he's not strong enough to destroy monsters on his own. Heart of Clear Water keeps the Fire Princess and Inferno alive until their effects can be used.

PotOM is an easy and efficient burn card, which can also support the Fire Princess. Emergency Provisions is there in the event and of the permanant trap/magics/equips are destroyed; if they're going down, at least she should get some LP gain out of it.

Three Wabokus to protect her monsters until she can get her attack force assembled with her Solar Flare Dragons and equips. Three Backfires to punish her opponents for destroying her creatures. Magic Cylinder is the rarest card in the deck, but I think I can wrangle one up. If not, it's $10 with a pack of Pharoah's Servant at Wal-Mart.

This deck will make major gains after the release of Hot Blooded Batter.

While it's not the best deck in the world, it's cheap, and a bit unique. I was actually surprised by how well it can actually run. I'll need to trade for all the cards tomorrow at the next tournament.

So...thoughts?
Heart of Clear Water keeps the Fire Princess and Inferno alive until their effects can be used.
I could be mistaken, but I think the text on Heart of Clear Water prohibits its usage on monsters with ATK of 1300 or higher. I'm fairly certain that Fire Princess has 1300 ATK points, which would render the combo useless.

When I tried to make a Pyro deck, I put in a Little Chimera, and then used that with the Heart of Clear Water.

All in all, they look great, though. ^_^ I'd love to try out the Deck Destruction one, but sadly I lack most of the cards required. :p

Darn you if you aren't right, Ben. ^^; 1300 ATK is the cut-off point, not >1300, as I originally thought. I got sloppy.

So, I shall replace the Hearts of Clear Water with Rod Of Silence-Kay'est.
DCR-036
Rod of Silence ? Kay?est
(Spell/Equip)
A monster equipped with this card increases its DEF by 500 points. Negate the effect of a Spell (excluding this card) that specifically designates a monster equipped with this card as a target and destroy it.
Fire Princess's defense would be at 2000, and Inferno's at 2400; while they're still vulnerable to attack, it's not by much.

...or, I could try Molten Destruction. While I'd thought of that, I thought the attack boost wouldn't matter in the long run, but...if I replaced the Swords of Revealing Light with a Terraforming, and the Hearts of clear Water with Molten Destruction, as well as replacing the Iron blackSmith with Little Chimeras...

Well, I'll try it both ways. All of the cards are commons, so I shouldn't have trouble getting them. ^__^

Here's what I've got currently. Suggestions, questions and comments would be more than helpful. ^_^

Tribute Monsters
Machine King
Airknight Parshath

Non-Tribute Monsters
Cyber Jar
D.D. Crazy Beast
Zolga
Hyper Hammerhead
Newdoria
Man-Eater Bug
Mataza the Zapper
Dark Jeroid
Zombyra the Dark
Spirit Reaper

Giant Orc

Witch of the Black Forest

Nobleman of Crossout
Mask of the Accursed
Kaiser Colosseum
United We Stand
Monster Reborn
Dark Hole
MST
MST
MST
Change of Heart
Graceful Charity
Harpie's Feather Duster

Traps
Imperial Order
Magic Cylinder
Horn of Heaven
Magic Drain
Waboku
Jar of Greed

Everyone and their mom seems to have a Jinzo in my area (besides me :P) so I put in several things to combat them. The most obvious should be Horn of Heaven, one of the few Trap cards able to seal Jinzo's power away.

Mask of the Accursed; stalling with a little burn.
Banner of Courage and Rush Recklessly; overpower Jinzo.
Exiled Force, Man-Eater, Newdoria, Cyber Jar; Kill the *******.
Slate Warrior + Dark Jeroid; Drain Jinzo's ATK Points.
Slate Warrior; if I get lucky, Slate Warrior can match Jinzo with its Flip-Effect.
Hyper Hammerhead; I can either hope for an attack, or ram it into Jinzo. Either way, Jinzo leaves the field.

EDIT: Machine King; The second Jinzo comes to the field, Machine King gets another +100 ATK points, making the two of them even.

This Deck isn't specifically designed to destroy Jinzo, mind you. I've just taken steps to account for the many duelists in my area who have them.

Well, I'm not really sure what you're doing; it looks like general beatdown. If it is, replace the Rush Recklesslies and Banners of Courage with Axes of DEspairs, to providea better boost to your forces.

If you really want a good anti-Jinzo card, run the Kaiser glider; it matches Jinzo permanantly, can suicide and survive, and sends a monster away when it leavest he field. It also looks wicked kewl.

Also, take out the Man-Eater Bug and add a Mystic Tomato, because oft he 5 low-stat dark types you run.

 • 3 weeks later...
I just put together a new post-ban Skill Drain Beatdown deck. It's more for fun than for competition, but I got bored with my regular Beatdown. It runs a lot of Effect Monsters, actually, but most of them either resolve in the Graveyard (and thus are immune to the effects of Skill Drain) or I want them to be negated.

Tribute Monsters(3)
Machine King
Dark Driceratops
Zaborg the Thunder Monarch

Monsters(17)
Kuriboh
Giant Orc x3
Zombyra the Dark x2
Mystic Tomato x2
Jirai Gumo x2
Exiled Force
Witch of the Black Forest
Slate Warrior
Sangan
Archfiend Soldier
Newdoria
Blindly Loyal Goblin

Spells(16)
Scapegoat x2
MST x3
Dark Hole
Book of Moon
United We Stand
Graceful Charity
Pot of Greed
Rush Recklessly x2
Axe of Despair
Monster Reborn
Nobleman of Extermination
Nobleman of Crossout

Traps (7)
Skill Drain x3 (EDIT: I added a third one that I pulled today. I wasn't drawing it often enough to be really effective)
Jar of Greed
Magic Drain
Waboku
Magic Cylinder

The Tributes are all meant to be okay without effects, but better with them. Although, I may not mind Zaborg's being negated in some instances. Machine King is the only unsearchable of the three.

Chances are I'll be playing this deck in an area where the ban isn't enforced, so wish me luck. :p

Any questions, comments, and/or suggestions are welcome and gladly accepted.

EDIT: *limps back* It seems that I was the only one who adhered to the ban list. I didn't stand much of a chance against people who kept Raigeki'ing my monsters and Imperial Ordering my Equips. So, until I find a tournament where the ban list is enforced, I'm switching out a few cards to make this Deck pre-ban.

Taking out: Book of Moon, Blindly Loyal Goblin, Scapegoat, Nobleman of Extermination

Putting in: Raigeki, Harpie's Feather Duster, Cyber Jar, Change of Heart

Well, right off the bat, I'll advise you to loose Machine King; he's too slow and unreliable. =( Sorry.

Anyway, I think the reason you're having difficulties is because Skill Drain decks simply aren't suited for the area you play in. Perhaps another form of Beatdown would be better? Off the bat, I can think of a few:

*Beastdown- Using Enraged Battle Ox, Beserk Gorilla, Bazoo, Mad Dog, Manticore and Winged SAge Falcos.

*Archfiend-Using x3 A. Soldiers, x3 Terrorkings, some Inferno Queens and Pandamonium

*Earth-themed-Goblin Attack Force, Beserk Gorilla, Gigantes, Dark Driceratops

Just something to think about.

Icerose:
You have way too many cards in your deck. Even if you took out everything but you monsters it would still be almost twice the size it should be. Try keeping under 50 cards in your deck. If you have too many cards, it will be very difficult to draw the cards you need when you need them. Many of the cards don't fit in with the rest of your deck. You should decide a theme and try to stick to it. I suggest taking that deck apart and building a new deck completly. Oh, and magic cards and spell cards are the same thing. For some reason I'm still having trouble understanding, Upperdeck changed magic cards to spell cards.

------------------------------
There. After all that, even you TCG players have all the resources and more than you need to r/f this deck. This is a tournament-caliber deck, and has fared well versus all competitive metagame archtypes through testing. It is solid in all deck aspects from rusher core, m/t removal-negation, monster removal, and staple flow.

From what I've seen, this is clearly the most technically solid and effective deck here.

OBVIOUSLY this is an OCG deck that follows the ban list. Please do not suggest any of the following(or be subject to a sarcastic reply):

Thunderbolt (e. Raigeki)
Distressing Choice (e. Painful Choice)
Injection Angel Lily (e. Injection Fairy Lily)
Fiber Pod (e. Fiber Jar)
Cyber Pod (e. Cyber Pod)
Imperial Decree (e. Imperial Order)
Yatagarasu (e. Yatagarasu)
Change of Heart (e. Change of Heart)
Harpy's Feather Sweep (e. Harpy's Feather Duster)
Mischevious Demon Twins (e. Delinquent Duo)

Please keep all issues pertaining to this deck intelligent and please back up suggestions with reasons and facts. Thank you for your time.

This is the deck I've had for a very long time now, so please tell me what you think. So far I've never lost a single duel with it, and I've been in at least 300 duels with it. I don't collect Yu-Gi-Oh! cards anymore so I don't really have any very new cards, but other than that I think my deck is pretty damn good. One more thing, I have all three Egyptian God Cards in English -two of which are in my deck- and I know those are restricted but other than that I'm almost positive my deck follows tournament rules. Please feel free to tell me what I should change or anything...

Okay, guys, please take note of the fact that the thread in which you've been posting is entitled "Rate My Deck." Simply posting your own deck isn't enough; you should at least make a cursory attempt to comment on others' cards. This goes for everyone.
