Knights of the Galactic Alliance

FOR A THOUSDAND GENERATIONS THE JEDI HAVE BEEN THE GUARDIANS OF PEACE AND JUSTICE IN THE GALAXY. TIME AND AGAIN THEY HAVE SACRIFICED THEMSELVES TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT IN THE REPUBLIC, THEY DO SO BECAUSE A JEDI'S LIFE IS SACRIFICE, THE FORCE IS A SHIELD GIVEN TO THE THEM TO PROTECT THOSE IN NEED. A JEDI KNOWS NOT ANGER, NOR HATRED, NOR LOVE, FOR A JEDI THERE IS NO EMOTION, THERE IS PEACE. A JEDI IS TRAINED IN MORE THAN COMBAT, HE MUST KNOW THE WISDOM OF A JEDI IF HE IS TO SUCCEED, THERE IS NO IGNORANCE, ONLY KNOWLEDGE. PASSION CLOUDS JUDGEMENT, A JEDI?S MIND MUST BE CLEAR IF HE IS TO FOLLOW THE PATH OF THE ORDER, THERE IS NO PASSION, ONLY SERENITY. A JEDI KNOWS THE FORCE IS HIS GREATEST ALLY, AND THAT IN DEATH HE SHALL BECOME ONE WITH IT, THERE IS NO DEATH, THERE IS ONLY THE FORCE.

FOR AEONS THE JEDI HAVE BATTLED AGAINST THE SITH, THOSE DESCENDED FROM THE FIRST FALLEN JEDI, THE LIGHT AND DARK SIDES WAGE A CONSTANT BATTLE ACROSS THE SPANS OF TIME. SOMETIMES THE JEDI ARE THE VICTORS, THEY OVERCOME THE DARK SIDE AND BANISH THE SITH AND THEIR EVIL FROM THE FACE OF THE GALAXY, OTHER TIMES THE SITH ARE THOSE TRIUMPHANT AND THE GALAXY IS PLUNGED INTO DARKNESS. SOME WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE FORCE GONE FROM THE UNIVERSE, OR AT LEAST IT?S MANIFESTATIONS AS JEDI AND SITH, WITHOUT SUCH GROUPS WOULD THE GALAXY BE A SAFER PLACE ? WOULD IT KNOW THE WARS AND PAIN IT HAS KNOWN ? OR THANKS TO THE JEDI WHO HAVE LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES TO PROTECT OTHERS IS THE GALAXY A PLACE OF PEACE AND JUSTICE ? IT DOES NOT MATTER REALLY, THE LIGHT AND DARK SIDE WAGE WAR INSIDE EVERYONE, FORCE SENSETIVE OR NOT.

IN THE MORE RECENT BATTLE THE JEDI WERE DEFEATED BY THE SITH, THE ORDER WHICH HAD STOOD SINCE THE DESTRUCTION OF OSSUS OVER FIVE THOUSAND YEARS BEFORE WAS TORN DOWN. BUT BEFORE THIS DESTRUCTION THE JEDI COUNCIL WERE AWARE THAT THEIR TIME IN THE GALAXY WAS DRAWING TO A CLOSE, THEY HAD LOST THEIR ABILITY TO SEE THROUGH THE FORCE, THE SHADOWNS OF THE DARK SIDE HAD CLOUDED THEIR VISION. THEY KNEW THAT WHEN THE SITH STRUCK, THEY WOULD STRIKE WITH ALL THEIR FURY AND POSSIBLY ANNIHILATE ALL THE JEDI, SOME ON THE COUNCIL WERE SCEPTICAL, AND THIS ARROGANCE WOULD BE THEIR DOWNFALL. BUT SOME WERE LESS CYNICAL, AND KNEW THAT THE SITH MIGHT INDEED BE ABLE TO DESTROY THE ORDER, SO IN SECRET A PLAN WAS FORMULATED, A SAFEGUARD AGAINST A CONTINGENCY NONE HOPED WOULD COME TO PASS.

THOSE WHO HAD BEEN DOUBTFUL OF THE SITH?S POWERS PAID DEARLY, FOR A SITH LORD HAD EXISTED AMONG THEM FOR DECADES, PLOTTING HIS EVENTUAL CONQUEST OF THE JEDI ORDER. DARTH SIDIOUS WAS THE MOST POWERFUL SITH LORD FOR A MILLENNIUM, AND HAD STRUCK AGAINST THE JEDI REPEATEDLY WITHOUT FEAR OF DETECTION OR CONSEQUENCE. HIS MANIPULATIONS HAD GAINED HIM CONTROL OF THE SENATE, AND NEXT THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SITH LORDS OF KORRIBAN WOULD ACCOMPLISH HIM WHAT NO SITH LORD HAD DONE BEFORE HIM, HE WOULD OBLITERATE THE JEDI COMPLETELY. HIS WHISPERS FELL MOSTLY ON DEAF EARS AMONG THE JEDI, BUT ONE FELL PREY TO HIS INFLUENCE, ANAKIN SKYWALKER, THE CHOSEN ONE. WITH SKYWALKER?S AID, SIDIOUS STRUCK AGAINST THE JEDI, AND THE GUARDIANS OF PEACE AND JUSTICE IN THE GALAXY WERE DECIMATED, ONLY A HANDFUL SUVIVED THE RISE OF THE GALACTIC EMPIRE.

BUT THERE WAS SOME HOPE FOR THE JEDI, THOSE WHO HAD BELIEVED THE SITH REPRESENTED A SIGNIFICANT THREAT KNEW THAT IT THE ORDER FELL, IT WOULD BE GONE FOREVER. DANTOOINE HAD ONCE BEEN HOME TO THE JEDI, FIVE THOUSAND YEARS BEFORE, UNTIL DARTH MALAK HAD ATTACKED AND WIPED OUT THE JEDI ENCLAVE THERE, BUT NOW IT WOULD BE HOME TO THE JEDI ONCE MORE. IN THE UTMOST SECRECY THE JEDI COUNCIL SELECTED TWELVE OF THEIR ORDER, THREE MASTERS, THREE KNIGHTS, AND SIX PADAWAN LEARNERS, THESE JEDI WOULD REPRESENT ALL THE ORDER SHOULD THEIR FEARS BE REALISED. THE ACADEMY THAT HAD ONCE BE HOME TO THE JEDI ON DANTOOINE WAS IN RUINS, BUT THE JEDI WOULD NOT RESTORE IT ON THE SURFACE, AS DOING SO WOULD ONLY ATTRACT THE ATTENTION OF THEIR ENEMIES.

USING BUT THE POWER OF THE FORCE, THE JEDI DUG OUT NEW PASSAGES, ROOMS AND HALLS BENEATH THE OLD ACADEMY, HERE THE ORDER WOULD PERSEVERE UNTIL THEY WERE STRONG ENOUGH TO DRIVE THE DARK SIDE FROM THE GALAXY. DANTOOINE HAD BUT A FEW SMALL COMMUNITIES, AND THE ACADEMY WAS FAR FROM THE NEAREST ONE, THE JEDI WOULD BE SAFE HERE, AND HOPEFULLY ALL THEY HAD DONE WAS BUILT SOMETHING THAT WOULD NEVER HAVE TO BE USED. THOSE JEDI SELECTED UNDERSTOOD THE TASK BEING UNDERTOOK, THEY WOULD TRAIN THEIR PADAWAN LEARNERS IN THIS ACADEMY, AND THEIR PADAWAN WOULD GO OUT IN SEARCH FOR NEW APPRENTICES AND THE CYCLE OF THE JEDI WOULD CONTINUE. MASTER YODA HIMSELF VISITED THEM BEFORE THEY WENT INTO HIDING, TO PRAISE THEM FOR THE BRAVERY, HOPEFULLY ONE DAY SOON THE JEDI WOULD COME TO FIND THEM HERE AND ALL WOULD BE WELL. IF NOT HE WAS CONFIDENT THAT THEY AS JEDI WOULD BRING THE ORDER ON TO A NEW AGE OF PEACE, HARMONY AND JUSTICE.

IT IS DOUBTFUL THAT EVEN THE COUNCIL COULD HAVE SEEN THE EXTENT AT WHICH THE SITH WOULD STRIKE AGAINST THEM, THOUSANDS OF JEDI ACROSS THE REPUBLIC MET THEIR DEMISE AT THE HANDS OF THE SITH LORD, DARTH VADER. THOSE FEW JEDI WHO HAD SURVIVED FLED TO AREAS WHERE THE DARK SIDE WAS STRONG, ON TATOOINE OBI-WAN KENOBI WATCHED VADER'S SON GROW UP IN THE CARE OF HIS UNCLE AND AUNT. ON DAGOBAH, MASTER YODA WAS HIDDEN IN THE PALL OF THE DARK SIDE'S, A REMNANT OF THE DATHOMIR NIGHT SISTER, WHOM HE HAD DEFEATED SO MANY YEARS BEFORE.THOSE FEW WHO SURVIVED COULD NOT RISK GOING TO DANTOOINE, TO DO SO WOULD PLACE THE ENTIRE ENCLAVE AT RISK, AND WHAT FEW JEDI MUST STILL HAVE BEEN THERE.

AND SO TIME PASSED, THE OLD REPUBLIC WAS SWEPT AWAY, AND IN IT'S PLACE PALPATINE CROWNED HIMSELF EMPEROR AND THE DARK SIDE SPREAD TO ALL CORNERS OF THE GALAXY. BUT SIDIOUS HAD BEEN ARROGANT TO THINK THAT HE COULD DESTROY ALL THE JEDI EVERYWHERE, HAD HE NOT LEARNED THE LESSON OF THE SITH ? THAT EVEN IN FEW NUMBERS THE JEDI WOULD EVENTUALLY STRIKE BACK, THE WAR BETWEEN LIGHT AND DARK COULD NOT BE SO EASILY WON. FOR TWENTY LONG YEARS DID PALPATINE RULE THE GALAXY WITH AN IRON FIST, AND FOR TWNETY YEARS DID THE SON OF SKYWALKER GROW, NOT KNOWING HIS PLACE IN THE GALAXY OR THE FATE OF HIS FAMILY. THE FORCE WAS STRONG IN HIS FAMILY, AS WAS THE TEMPTATION OF THE DARK SIDE.

AND THEN AS IF BY CHANCE A PAIR OF DROIDS CROSSED HIS PATH, AND LUKE MET UP WITH THE JEDI OBI-WAN KENOBI, WHO BEGAN HIS TRAINING IN THE ART OF THE JEDI. HE MET UP WITH HAN SOLO AND CHEWBACCA, AND TOGETHER THEY WOULD RESCUE PRINCESS LEIA ORGANA OF ALDERAAN, DESTROY THE DEATH STAR, AND STRIKE A GREAT BLOW AGAINST THE EMPIRE FOR THE REBEL ALLIANCE. LUKE WOULD BECOME A HERO OF THE ALLIANCE, AND TWO YEARS LATER HE WOULD SEEK OUT MASTER YODA ON DAGOBAH TO CONTINUE HIS TRAINING AS A JEDI KNIGHT. HOWEVER HIS FATHER DARTH VADER WOULD NOT ALLOW THE YOUNG SKYWALKER TO SLIP THROUGH HIS FINGERS SO EASILY, HE WOULD TURN HIS SON TO THE DARK SIDE AS HE HIMSELF HAD TURNED. ON BESPIN LUKE FOUGHT DARTH VADER, THINKING HE WAS FIGHTING THE FALLEN JEDI WHO HAD KILLED HIS FATHER. BUT VADER WAS NOT TO BE DEFEATED, AND NOT ONLY WOULD LUKE LOSE HIS HAND, BUT HE WOULD LEARN THE CHILLING TRUTH THAT HIS FATHER HAD NOT DIED, BUT FALLEN TO THE DARK SIDE.

FOR THE NEXT YEAR LUKE TRAINED, HE WOULD FIND HIS FRIEND HAN, WHO HAD BEEN CAPTURED BY BOBA FETT AND GIVEN TO JABBA THE HUTT. HIS QUEST LED HIM BACK TO HIS HOMEWORLD OF TATOOINE, WHERE JABBA THE HUTT STILL HELD HAN SUSPENEDED IN HIS CARBONITE PRISON. AFTER LEIA?S UNSUCESSFUL RESCUE, LUKE WHO HAD NOW GROWN STRONG AS A JEDI CHALLENGED THE WRATH OF THE HUTT TO FREE HIS FRIENDS. ON JABBA?S BARGE OVER THE PIT OF THE SARLAAC, LUKE AND LEIA DEFEATED THE CRIMELORD?S GUARDS AND DESTROYED THE BARGE WITH JABBA?S STRANGLED BODY INSIDE. LUKE RETURNED TO DAGOBAH TO COMPLETE HIS TRAINING, BUT YODA WAS OLD AND COULD TRAIN HIM NO MORE, NOW HE WOULD TELL LUKE OF HIS FINAL TASK TO BECOMING A JEDI, AND REVEAL LUKE ALSO HAD A SISTER.

WITH THE NEWS OF ANOTHER DEATH STAR BEING CONSTRUCTED, LUKE KNEW THAT HIS TIME TO PROVE HIMSELF AS A FULLY FLEDGED JEDI KNIGHT HAD COME. USING A STOLEN IMPERIAL SHUTTLE LUKE AND HIS STRIKE TEAM INFILTRATED THE FOREST MOON OF ENDOR WITH A MISSION TO DESTROY THE PLANET DESTROYER?S SHIELD. THOUGH CAPTURED BY VADER, LUKE WAS ABLE TO SOW THE SEEDS OF DOUBT IN HIS FATHER?S MIND, PERHAPS THERE WAS MORE OF ANAKIN LEFT IN HIM THAN HE WAS WILLING TO ADMIT. HIGH ABOVE ENDOR, IN THE DEATH STAR LUKE FINALLY MET THE DARK LORD OF THE SITH, WHO SOUGHT TO MAKE THE SON OF SKYWALKER HIS SLAVE. PALPATINE REVEALED THAT HE HAD ALLOWED THE REBELLION TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE NEW DEATH STAR, AND THAT IN ONE FELL SWOOP, HE WOULD DESTROY THEM ONCE AND FOR ALL.

LUKE UNABLE TO ACCEPT THIS GAVE INTO HIS ANGER AND STRUCK AT THE EMPEROR WITH HIS LIGHTSABER, VADER INTERCEPTED THE ATTACK WITH HIS OWN, AND THUS BEGUN THE DUEL LUKE HAD HOPED TO AVOID. FAR BELOW ON THE MOON'S SURFACE HAN SOLO AND LUKE'S SISTER LEIA SUCCEEDED IN BLOWING UP THE GENERATOR PROTECTING THE DEATH STAR, THE REBEL FLEET HAVING ALREADY LOST A SHIP TO THE DEATH STAR LAUNCHED THEIR COUNTER-ATTACK. LUKE AT FIRST RESISTED FIGHTING HIS FATHER, ATTEMPTING TO SHOW HIM THERE WAS MORE OF HIS GOOD SIDE LEFT THAN HE CARED TO ADMIT. VADER UNSHAKEN BY HIS SON'S WORDS CONTINUED THE ATTACKS, DRIVING LUKE INTO HIDING IN THE SHADOWS, VADER PRESSED HIS ADVANTAGE AND LEARNED THAT LUKE HAD A SISTER, THAT HE HAD ANOTHER CHILD. GOADING HIS SON HE STATES THAT IF LUKE WILL NOT TURN, THEN PERHAPS SHE WILL.

FURIOUS AT HIS FATHER, LUKE GAVE INTO HIS RAGE FULLY, COUNTERING VADER'S EVERY BLOW AND DRIVING HIM TOWARDS A BRIDGE OVER THE CORE. VADER SIMPLY POWERLESS TO DEFEND AGAINST HIS SON LOST HIS RIGHT HAND, THE SAME HAND HE HAD TAKEN FROM HIS SON A YEAR BEFORE. THE EMPEROR PLEASED THAT LUKE HAD GIVEN INTO HIS ANGER COMMANDED HIM TO GIVE IN AND STRIKE HIS FATHER DOWN, LOOKING UPON HIS OWN LOST HAND, LUKE REALISED THAT HIS FIGHT WITH VADER IS OVER. HE RELINQUISHED HIS WEAPON, AND INFORMED PALPATINE THAT HE WAS A JEDI. PALPATINE, IRRITATED BY SKYWALKER'S LACK OF OBEDIENCE STRUCK AT THE YOUNG JEDI WITH LIGHTNING BOLTS FROM HIS FINGER TIPS, VADER WATCHED, HEARING HIS SON'S CRIES FOR HELP.

ABANONDING THE DARK SIDE, VADER PICKED UP HIS MASTER AND HURLED HIM INTO THE DEATH STAR CORE BELOW, THE PRICE FOR ANAKIN WAS HIGH HOWEVER, AS HE WAS FATALLY WOUNDED BY THE EMPEROR'S LIGHTNING. LUKE WAS FINALLY GIVEN THE CHANCE TO SEE HIS FATHER'S FACE, AND ANAKIN TELLS LUKE TO TELL HIS SISTER THAT SHE WAS RIGHT ABOUT THERE BEING SOME GOOD LEFT IN HIM. BECOMING ONE WITH THE FORCE LUKE REALISES THAT HE IS NOT THE LAST OF THE OLD JEDI, BUT THE FIRST OF THE NEW. THE REBEL ALLIANCE SUCCEED IN HITTING THE DEATH STAR'S WEAKEST POINT, CAUSING THE STATION TO BEGIN A CATACLYSMIC CHAIN REACTION. LUKE PILOTS A SHUTTLE FROM THE STATION JUST BEFORE IT'S DESTRUCTION, AND FAR BELOW ON ENDORS SURFACE, THE REBELLION CELEBRATE THEIR VICTORY OVER THE EMPIRE.

THIRTY YEARS LATER, THE GALACTIC ALLIANCE IS STILL REBUILDING AFTER THE DESTRUCTION CAUSED BY WAR WITH THE YUUZHAN VONG, EVEN AFTER FIVE YEARS, THE NAME STILL SENDS SHIVERS DOWN THE SPINES OF SUVIVORS. LUKE'S ACADEMY ON YAVIN FOUR MAKES A STARTLING DISCOVERY, THE POSSIBLITY OF AN ENTIRE ENCLAVE OF JEDI ON DANTOOINE, LUKE REALISES THE IMPORTANCE OF SUCH A POSSIBILITY AND PERSONALLY GOES TO DANTOOINE TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY TRUTH IN THE RUMOUR. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE GALAXY, A SHADOW OF THE DARK SIDE STIRS, HAVING WATACHED AND WAITED FOR THEIR OPPORTUNITY TO ONCE AGAIN LEAD THE ASSAULT OF THE DARK SIDE AGAINST THE JEDI.

LANDING ON DANTOOINE, NEITHER LUKE, KYLE NOR KYP CAN FEEL THE PRESENCE OF ANY JEDI, PERHAPS THE INFORMATION WAS FALSE, OR PERHAPS THE JEDI HAD PURPOSELY CONCEALED THEMSELVES TO AVOID THE FATE OF THE REST OF THE ORDER. FINDING THE REMAINS OF THE JEDI ACADEMY FROM FOUR THOSAND YEARS BEFORE LUKE STRECHES OUT WITH HIS FEELINGS, AND FINDS A GLIMMER OF THE FORCE FAR BENEATH THE SURFACE. BEFORE HE CAN INVESTIGATE FURTHER HOWEVER, HE AND THE OTHERS ARE KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS BY AN UNSEEN FORCE. WAKING UP THE FIND THEMSELVES FACING A COUNCIL OF TWELVE INDIVDUALS, THEIR FACES STERN, THEY WISH TO KNOW WHY LUKE HAS COME.

LUKE EXPLAINS THAT HE HAS REFORMED THE JEDI ORDER, AND THAT THE SITH HAVE BEEN DRIVEN FROM THE GALAXY. BUT THOSE ON THE COUNCIL ARE NOT SO QUICK TO BELIEVE, A SKYWALKER BROUGHT DOWN THE JEDI, THEY WOULD NOT BE SO TRUSTING OF HIS SON. THE JEDI ASK LUKE TO PROVE HIS INTENTIONS, THEY CANNOT ALLOW WHAT REMAINS OF JEDI ORDER TO BE PUT AT RISK. REACHING OUT WITH THE FORCE, THE JEDI COUNCIL PROBE THE MIND OF LUKE, KYP AND KYLE, ATTEMPTING TO SENSE DECEPTION FROM THE JEDI AND HIS COMPANIONS. SENSING NO DECEPTION THEY ACCEPT WHAT SKYWALKER HAS TOLD THEM AND EXPRESS REGRET FOR THE WAY THEY HAVE TREATED HIM, LUKE ASSURES THEM THAT HE WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME IN THEIR PLACE, BUT WOULD ALSO SEEK KNOWLEDGE OF WHY THEY ARE HERE AND HAVE NOT RETURNED TO THE GALAXY SINCE THE FALL OF THE EMPIRE.

THE COUNCIL REVEAL TO LUKE THAT AFTER THE DEFEAT OF THE EMPIRE THEY DECIDED AGAINST REVEALING THEMSELVES, THEY TELL LUKE THAT THE REPUBLIC BETRAYED THEM BEFORE AND THEY WOULD NOT BE SO FOOLISH AS TO PUT THEMSELVES AT RISK AGAIN. LUKE IS TAKEN ABACK BY THEIR REASONING, THE JEDI ARE THE GUARDIANS OF PEACE AND JUSTICE IN THE GALAXY, BUT THE JEDI RETORT THAT THE REPUBLIC DOES NOT COMPRISE THE ENTIRE GALAXY. THEY ALSO SENSE THAT LUKE HAS KNOWN THE BETRAYAL OF THE REPUBLIC, HOW THE SENATE HANDED OVER JEDI TO YUUZHAN VONG IN ORDER TO SAVE THEMSELVES, THE JEDI ORDER FELL ONCE BEFORE BECAUSE OF THE REPUBLIC'S BETRAYAL, THEY WOULD NOT DO SO AGAIN. LUKE AKS THAT THEY AT LEAST CONSIDER REVEALING THEMSELVES, OR BETTER THAT THEY MERGE THEIR ACADEMIES TOGETHER SO THAT THE JEDI MIGHT BE WHOLE AGAIN, THE COUNCIL ARE HESISTANT, LUKE WAS LESS THAN A PADAWAN WHEN THE EMPIRE FELL, AND HE WAS MUCH OLDER THAN MANY PADAWANS.

STILL THE COUNCIL AGREE IN PRINCIPLE TO REVEALING THEMSELVES IF THEY COULD BE ASSURED SAFETY FOR THE TWO HUNDRED JEDI THAT INHABIT THE DANTOOINE ACADEMY. THEY ALSO ADVISE LUKE THAT THEY WILL FOR THE TIME BEING KEEP THEIR ORDERS SEPARATE, UNTIL THEY CAN DETERMINE THE FULL STATE OF LUKE'S ACADEMY. LUKE SATISFIED WITH THE RESULT OF HIS UNDERTAKING RETURNS TO THE JEDI ACADEMY ON YAVIN FOUR IN ORDER TO RELAY THE NEWS TO THE REST OF THE COUNCIL. STEPPING FOOT INTO THE ACADEMY, LUKE THE SIGNS OF A RECENT BATTLE, THE SCARS OF LIGHTSABER SLASHES ACROSS THE WALLS OF THE TEMPLE, HURRYING HIS OWN COUNCIL CHAMBER, HE FINDS THE BODIES OF OVER A DOZEN JEDI AND APPRENTICES LAID IN PILES ON THE FLOOR, AND THE BODIES OF THE NON-JEDI COUNCIL MEMBERS DECAPITATED, THE HEADS AND BODIED LAID IN TWO SEPARATE MOUNDS.

SEARCHING THE ACADEMY FOR SURVIVORS, LUKE FINDS THE BODY OF A SINGLE SITH AMONG THE CARNAGE, THE TELLTALE RED LIGHTSABER NEAR HER FALLEN BODY. FILLED WITH ANGUISH AND GRIEF LUKE CONTINUES HIS SEARCH, AND FINDS A NUMBER OF MASTERS, KNIGHTS AND APPRENTICES, HIDDEN BELOW TEMPLE, AMOUNG THEM HIS NIECE JAINA AND NEPHEW JACEN. RELAYING TO THEIR UNCLE THE EVENTS INVOLVED IN THE ATTACK, LUKE GRASPS THAT THE SITH MUST HAVE WAITED FOR THE RIGHT TIME TO STRIKE AT HIS ACADEMY, AND MAY HAVE ALREADY MADE THEIR WAY TO DANTOOINE AND THE JEDI THERE. LEAVING KYLE AND KYP TO SEE TO THE DEAD AND INJURED, LUKE RETURNS TO THE ENCLAVE BUT CAN FIND NO TRACE OF THE SITH, EITHER THE JEDI REPELLED THEM OR THEY WERE UNAWARE OF IT'S EXISTANCE. RETURNING TO THE COUNCIL ONCE MORE HE ASKS FOR THEIR HELP IN FACING THIS THREAT, THE COUNCIL ARE WARY OF EXPOSING THEMSELVES IN THIS TIME OF DANGER AND ASK LUKE TO GIVE THEM TIME TO DELIBERATE WHAT TO DO.

UNDERSTANDING THAT HE CANNOT PUSH THE COUNCIL INTO ACTION LUKE WAITS PATIENTLY AT THE ENCLAVE WHILE THEY MAKE THEIR DECISION. WHEN LUKE IS CALLED BEFORE THEM AGAIN, THE COUNCIL AGREE THAT IF THE SITH HAVE RETURNED THAT ALL JEDI REGARDLESS OF THEIR TRAINING MUST FACE THE THREAT TOGETHER. THEY INFORM LUKE THAT IT MAY BE SAFER FOR HIM TO MOVE HIS JEDI TO THE DANTOOINE ACADEMY FOR THE TIME BEING, AND THAT THAT WAY THE JEDI MAY HAVE STRENGTH IN THEIR RESPECTIVE NUMBERS, LUKE AGREES AND SENDS WORD FOR THE JEDI TO BEGIN AN EVACUATION OF YAVIN 4. WITHIN A NUMBER OF DAYS, THE VAST MAJORITY OF LUKE'S ACADEMY HAVE MADE THEIR WAY TO DANTOOINE, FOR MANY IT IS AN EXCITING EXPERIENCE, THEIR CHANCE TO STUDY THE WAYS OF THE OLD JEDI ORDER.

THOSE IN THE SENATE ON DENON ARE ALSO SLIGHTLY UNEASY ABOUT THE FACT THAT A JEDI ACADEMY HAD EXISTED IN THE OUTER RIM FOR OVER FIFTY YEARS AND HAD NOT OFFERED TO HELP THE ALLIANCE DURING THEIR TIME OF NEED. GRUDGINGLY THEY ACCEPT TO REINFORCE THE SYSTEM AND PROVIDE NEW SUPPLIES FOR NOW EXPANDED THE ENCLAVE. WHERE THE SITH STRUCK FROM REMAINS A MYSTERY, BUT BOTH THE OLD AND NEW COUNCIL FEAR THAT IT WILL BE ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THEY STRIKE AGAIN...

----------
Well I'd say without a shadow of a doubt that that is the longest RPG storyline I've ever written, and truthfully I could have made it shorter, but people know what happens when my creative spark kicks in. Still I feel that it had to be long in order to set the tone and story of the RPG properly. I'd like to point out that this will be quite a large RPG in the fact that I'll be taking as many as 14 people if I can get them [with suitably quality sign ups] and will hopefully be the first of a series of RPGs [thus the Knights of the Galactic Alliance bit].

As many people know I enforce some basic rules in my RPG regarding quality [high quality only] and quantity [minimum of 20 lines] of posts, these rules will be enforced in this RPG too, so if you have any questions please use the Underground thread which can be found here. You can ask any questions, raise any issues or if you have any suggestions please use the thread, as it?ll save three people PMing me about the same issue.

For the RPG itself, I?m not going to allow anyone to play as a Sith, these will all be NPCs and will be introduced at another stage in the RPG, although characters will have the opportunity to turn to the Dark Side given time. That isn't to say however that within the first twenty posts of the RPG we have four guys [or girls] trying to become the next Exar Kun. Character development is paramount in this RPG.

CHARACTER SIGN UP

Name:
[Your character's name, preferably something Star Wars-ish]

Age:
[Your character?s age, this has to be kept in conjunction with your rank]

Gender:
[Male or female]

Race:
[You may choose one from any of the following species, including human]

Homeworld:
[Preferably the homeworld of your species, you may also choose from any of the following]

Affiliate Order:
[Old Jedi Order or New Jedi Order]

There?s no real influence to this, it will only really have to do with how you interact with a Jedi from the other Order.

Rank:
[For the RPG itself, the following ranks are available.]

2x Jedi Masters [40-]
4x Jedi Knights [20-40]
6x Padawan Learners [14-20]

The numbers reflect the numbers available for each rank, as well as the rough age for a character to be [i.e. you?re not going to have an 18 year old Jedi Master]. Given appropriate progression characters will be able to move up a rank, unless they?re Masters in which case they will stay as they are. I?d prefer it if people didn?t race to be Jedi Masters, as I?ll be pairing Padawan and Knights/Masters together for the RPG, if you have someone you wish to be your Master/Padawan, please use the Underground thread. I'd also appreciate it if we didn't have a bunch of 19/20 year old Padawan [just because people will want to get to the next rank early], people who can role-play well should be able to take a 16 year old Padawan and make him/her into a well developed and respected character.

Class:
[This will linked to your rank, lightsaber, lightsaber style and Force Powers. I?m borrowing the Knight and Master classes from the KOTOR series.]

Jedi Masters
Jedi Weapon Master [Combat Expert]
Jedi Watchman [Proficient at both]
Jedi Master [Force Use Expert]

Jedi Knight
Jedi Guardian [Combat Adept]
Jedi Sentinel [Skills in both]
Jedi Consular [Force Use Adept]

Padawan Learner
Padawan Peacekeeper [Combat Focus]
Padawan Mediator [Average in both]
Padawan Ambassador [Force Use Focus]

As you might have guessed the Watchman, Sentinel and Mediator classes have mixed skills in both combat and Force use, but are not as adept at either one as the classes who focus on either one are [i.e. a Watchman couldn't out-fight a Weapon Master, nor out-Force use a Master]. However Weapon Master, Guardian and Peacekeeper?s focus on Combat leaves their force use less powerful that the other rank classes [as you will see in the Force Power section]. The same applies for Master, Consular and Ambassador in terms of their combat proficiency. But even though the Focus, Adept and Expert classes may lack the skills in either combat or Force use, they are still trained well in both so as not to leave them at a considerable disadvantage.

Lightsaber:
[Your choice of lightsaber will be linked to your Rank and Class]

Jedi Master
Single Lightsaber [all classes]
Dual Lightsabers [all classes]
Dual Phase Lightsaber [Jedi Watchman, Jedi Weapon Master]
Double-bladed Lightsaber [Jedi Weapon Master]

Jedi Knight
Single Lightsaber [all classes]
Dual Lightsabers [Jedi Sentinel, Jedi Guardian]
Dual Phase Lightsaber [Jedi Guardian]

Padawan Learner
Single Lightsaber [all classes]
Dual Lightsabers [Padawan Peacekeeper]

I know a lot of people are going to look at that and say ?damn, the Combat Jedi have access to the best stuff? but simply put it's because they have the training to wield those weapons. That isn?t to say that being stuck with a lightsaber means your at a disadvantage, a lightsaber by itself is a tremendously powerful weapon and shouldn?t be snubbed [as well as this, wielding two lightsabers for instance would give the user more attacking power, but less precision and a lower defensive because they're working with two]. And just because a class has access to a weapon doesn?t mean they?ll use it, a Jedi Weapon Master may elect to use a single lightsaber as opposed to two or a double-bladed lightsaber, it?s all about personal preference. In terms of lightsaber design I'd ask people to put a bit of thought as to what their lightsaber will look like as a whole, yes that means I'd like a description of the hilt too, this isn't because I want to be difficult, but to give people a feel of individuality to their lightsaber. After all no two people's personally designed lightsabers should be exactly the same, for the blade any single tone colour [i.e. blue, green, yellow] may be chosen, well except red as it?s the Sith's lightsaber colour.

Lightsaber Style
[Alright this too will be linked to your rank and class, detailed information on styles be found here. I decided to revamp this section so Styles are done in Levels like Force Powers.]

After revamping the Force Powers section and some other general stuff, I decided to come back here and redo the lightsaber style. Just reading over it I could see that it was quite restrictive and not what I was going for in the RPG, to fix this I split the Styles into Levels [from 1-3], that way even if people couldn't access the Level 3 version of the style they wanted, they could still get part of it. That way even though the combat guys are going to be able to get the most out of it, the Force guys are still going to be able to mix it up pretty well. Again like Force Powers [which you can read about below], your style Level will have a major effect on your skill, as well as this your style should also be a reflection of your personality. Padawan begin their study of new styles at age 15, all Padawan below that age study the Shi-Cho form, and like Force Powers higher level forms are restricted by Rank. I know this is going to seem restrictive but the style you pick is the style you stick with, this is simply because it would be too much effort for a Jedi to try and learn multiple styles of combat. Ataru for instance draws heavily on the Force and as such is a Force Adept standard, where as Makashi and Juyo are mainly used by Combat Adepts.

Force Powers:
[Again this will be linked to your rank and class, these are mostly powers from KOTOR 2 I've borrowed]

Heal - Improved Heal - Master Heal
This power allows a Jedi to heal physical wounds or poisons, the range of healing increases with progression, i.e. Master Heal will heal wounds far more severe than Heal could.

Valour - Knight Valour - Master Valour
Drawing on the power of the Force, the Jedi can considerably foster his physical attributes for a period of time. Again the increase is proportionate to progression.

Force Aura - Force Shield - Force Armour
With the Force as his ally, a Jedi can dramatically enhance his defence, allowing him to take less damage from attacks.

Force Barrier - Improved Force Barrier - Master Force Barrier
This Force Power allows a Jedi to draw the Force around him like a shield, diminishing the power of physical attacks, but not that of Energy or Force Powers.

Revitalize - Improved Revitalize - Master Revitalize
When battle or exertion depletes a Jedi energy, this power will restore him to fighting form

Burst of Speed - Knight Speed - Master Speed
For slower species, Force Speed has always represented a way for them to increase their dexterity. In combat this power would allow a Jedi to considerably intensify their attacking speed.

Force Jump - Improved Force Jump - Master Force Jump
A seemingly unexceptional power, when used correctly in combat it can be devastating. When used in battle this could allow a Jedi to sneak upon an enemy, or if engaged in a battle with a Sith, allow a Jedi to gain the advantage through their acrobatic prowess.

Energy Resistance - Improved Energy Resistance - Master Energy Resistance
Similar to Force Barrier, Energy Resistance allows a Jedi to shield himself against a portion of damage received from Energy attacks, such as Lightsabers or blasters.

Battle Meditation - Improved Battle Meditation - Master Battle Meditation
A power popular with Force Adepts and Combat Masters alike, this power radically increases a Jedi's ability to fight, and is often chosen by those who find their combat abilites lacking.

Force Push - Force Whirlwind - Force Wave
With this Force Power, a Jedi is capable of sending powerful waves through the air, knocking away objects and opponents alike.

Force Direction - Force Deflection - Force Redirection
This power allows a Jedi to control inanimate objects, allowing he/she to fire them like projectiles at an adversary. With time a Jedi can deflect objects thrown at him/her, or even redirect them back at an enemy.

Stun - Stasis - Stasis Field
A useful ability when engaging an enemy, this power allows a Jedi to surround the Force around their opponent like a web preventing them from moving . Stronger opponents in the Force however may be able to shrug off it?s effects.

Stun Droid - Disable Droid - Destroy Droid
When faced with a Droid opponent, this power gives a Jedi the ability to overload the droid?s circuits, or cause the droid to explode altogether.

Mind Trick - Force Confusion
The Force holds great sway over the weak-minded, and use of this power offers the same effect, as with Stun, Force opponents may not be subject to this powers effects.

Force Resistance - Force Immunity
When faced with an enemy who wields Dark Force Powers, a Jedi can summon the Force to surround himself like a bubble, negating the damage.

Force Suppression - Force Breach
At one time the Jedi stripped the force from those who had fallen to the Dark Side with no hope of redemption. This power is a not too distant cousin of that punishment, allowing a Jedi to weaken an opponents power of the Force.

Throw Lightsaber - Advanced Throw Lightsaber
A lightsaber is a powerful weapon in combat, but often lacks the range of blasters. This power allows a Jedi to hurl their lightsaber like a rotating discus at an opponent, as well as control it in the air.

That was probably the hardest part of the whole sign up to write, as I tried to give everyone a fair shot and this time around the Force Adepts got the best of what was on offer. I hope now that people will put in some genuine thought as to what class of character they want to play as, rather than just picking Combat Jedi because they think they got the best stuff. I know you'll have questions about how this is set up, so below you can see the table of who got what.

Jedi Master - May select Twelve Tier 3 [i.e. Master something] powers.
Jedi Watchman - May select Eight Tier 3 powers.
Jedi Weapon Master - May select Six Tier 3 powers.

Jedi Consular - May select Ten Tier 2 powers.
Jedi Sentinel - May select Seven Tier 2 powers.
Jedi Guardian - May select Five Tier 2 powers.

Padawan Ambassadors May select Eight Tier 1 powers.
Padawan Mediator May select Six Tier 1 powers.
Padawan Peacekeeper May select Four Tier 1 powers.

Now I'm almost 100% certain that some people will be wondering what I mean by Tiers, simply put Force Powers exist in Tiers, one leading to the next [i.e. Force Heal leads to Improved Heal, which leads to Master Heal]. You cannot get to a higher Tiered power without first having learned the ones before it [i.e. you can't go from Heal to Master Heal without having learned Improved Heal in between]. As you might have guessed the strength of powers grow with progression, so a suitably powerful enemy might not be even swayed by Force Push, but might be thrown clear across the room by Force Wave. Tiers are also going to be linked to Rank, so a Tier 3 power is available only to Jedi Masters, and all two Tier powers [such as Force Suppression] are classed as being Tier 2 and 3. You will probably notice too that as a character rises in class he is granted more access to powers than he had before, however power increases are not cumulative. So when a Jedi Consular reaches the rank of Jedi Master all his Tier 2 powers will be promoted to Tier 3 and he will be allowed pick 2 additional new powers [all of which would be Tier 3], trying to work this out to be fair to everyone was why it took to long.

Personality:
Even though the Old Jedi Order believed in freeing oneself from emotion, a Jedi does have their own personality and quirks. This should also tie into your choice of lightsaber style if applicable, i.e. someone who uses the Shien style is likely to be aggressive.

Other:
Anything else not covered by the rest of the Sign up, personal items and the like.

Final Question
Did you think the way the Sign Up was laid out allowed you to form a unique character more easily or did you find it restrictive, put simply was it good or bad ?

----------

Sometimes I wonder why I put myself through these kinds of sign ups, the level of detail and research takes ages and formatting this out was a pain in the ***. I?d also like to ask people to refrain from being related to other Canon Jedi [like Obi-Wan for instance], the theme of this RPG is originality and I?d like to make it sometime people on OB could really enjoy doing. I hope you?ve had as much fun doing this, as was my effort writing it.

I'll be posting the Underground thread tomorrow evening, as I wanted to get the RPG itself started on the 19th to coincide with Episode III's release. The code for the background will be added at a later stage, once I get it from Alex.

Jodo?s has a single lightsabre, with a single blade. The hilt is slightly shorter than a standard hilt, about 25cm long. The hilt is long and smooth, and apart from the activator, is completely free of ?teeth? protruding from it?s sides, which might have hindered his grip. The hilt is made of a dark, almost black metal, giving it an oily appearance. In one side, there is an oval cut from the metal casing, in which there are ridges of carbon fibre. The lightsabre blade is a rich blue colour, slightly deeper in colour than most blue lightsabre crystals. This is because of the construction of the lightsabre, with the focusing lens and emitter matrix aligned for maximum energy output.

Jodo stands at 5?11? tall, and has a medium build, weighing in at about 175lbs. Due to the combatist temperament of both himself and his master, he has developed a very robust figure through extensive physical excercise.

He bears this branding on the left side of his chest, almost tribal in appearence. Jodo wears a Jedi tunic generic of many Knights and Masters, but where as most robes are a white or cream in colour, Jodo's is black, with a deep grey undershirt. He wears a gauze like wrapping around his forearms, underneath his robes, that wraps around his hand to the middle of the palm, just above the thumb. He wears black leather boots that come to the middle of his shins, and have worn at the bottom almost to suede. He wears a brown Jedi cloak.

Biography:

Jodo was discovered at a young age on his Homeworld of Kiffex. His clan; Kavor, who all sported very strong bonds, were reluctant to give him up. However, after long discussion with the Jedi who had discovered him, they eventually conceded, and allowed Jodo to be taken to the Academy on Dantooine, where his gifts would be best used.

The first months of his stay were very difficult at the Academy. No more than a baby, Jodo would spend hours at a time wailing, distort at having been torn from his mother. This lesson was a harsh one for him to learn, but ultimately a necessary one, as this was his first lesson in the dangers of making attachments. Eventually the tears stopped, the wailing subsided, and, finally, his journey through the Force could begin. He let go of his family clan and joined another, entering the stage of his Jedi life referred to as the Clanhood.

Jodo?s skills began to flourish very quickly when he was introduced to the basics of lightsabre combat. He seemed to show a natural flair and ability with the weapon, and quickly began to find the Shi Cho form far too simplistic for his needs. It was this gift that took the notice of the Jedi Doran Wo?Diin, who had recently taken his step in to Knighthood, and was looking for a Padawan of his own. Being particularly gifted in lightsaber combat himself, it was natural that these two should be drawn together; as mentor and student. The Force has a will of its own; nothing happens by accident.

Jodo approached the end of his Clanhood with same task that beset all of his peers; to construct a lightsaber. It was this act that would reinforce Master Wo?Diin?s confidence in Jodo, and secure their pairing as Master and Apprentice. Given only the basic instruction in assembly, many Clan member?s lightsabre?s turn out slightly crude and very simplistic in design. Jodo?s however displayed unusual qualities for someone his age, drawing the attention of several potential Master?s, but it was Doran Wo?Diin who would become his Master.

There was but a single task left before Jodo could become Doran?s Padawan. Together they had to venture into the Kinrath caves, where Jodo would, under Doran?s guidance, be able to choose a crystal for his lightsaber. There was an inevitable awkwardness in their first meeting, with Jodo anxious but eager and Doran unsure on how best to teach his student before knowing more about him. Fate it seems, has a will of its own, and it would be their lightsaber skill that would form the first bonds of their relationship. As Jodo neared the completion of his lightsaber, the pair were attacked by a small group of Kinrath. Doran immediately ignited his lightsaber and moved into a defensive position infront of his student, his goal to protect the boy, who had never seen real combat before. As he readied for battle, he heard the ignition of another weapon, and turned to see Jodo, a steel readiness in his eyes and a lightsabre at his side, ignited with the same blue blade as his own. For the first time they stood together in battle, and it was hear that Jodo?s great potential was first put into practive.

Doran did not waste time introducing his Padawan to the art of Juyo. Jodo was very eager to learn such a demanding lightsabre art, as it was finally one that challenged his tremendous potential. Doran, despite his own youth and relative inexperience, still displayed the caution of someone beyond his years in teaching Juyo to his Padawan, who had started to show unhealthy signs of competitiveness and desire. However, Doran decided it was best to trust in his Padawan?s own judgement, and so began his teachings.

When Jodo was fifteen, he was meditating, when he began to feel a sharp pain in the left side of his chest. Jodo travelled in to a deeper sleep as he tried to combat the pain, which he felt was coming through the Force. Visions of his mother and his clan passed through his thoughts as the pain grew more intense, and eventually caused him to pass out. He woke several days later in the Academy?s medical bay, and found that, on the part of his chest where he had felt the pain, there were now intricate black markings. He later learned that these markings were the symbol of his clan. The Council was alarmed, as it seemed he had sub-consciously used the Force to burn these markings in to his own skin. Not only did this show that he still had some attachment for his clan, but the act itself required use of the Dark Side of the Force. They chose to inform Doran of this, but kept the information from Jodo himself.

The remainder of Jodo?s apprenticeship went relatively smoothly. Jodo had continued to display signs of arrogance in his talents, but these were often very minor, as such were ignored most of the time. He became a Knight at 19, having passed the Trials set before him. The student/teacher relationship he had shared with Master Doran Wo?Diin for so many years had come to an end, and they formed a new relationship, now as friends.

Soon after becoming a Knight, Jodo chose to construct a new lightsabre, one that reflected his own personality more than that of his Master?s. He kept the same focusing crystal that he had used as a Padawan, but the new design of the hilt was much more sleek, and one that drew much more focus towards power output. Many Master?s at the Academy have placed praise on Jodo for the level of craftsmanship displayed in making his new weapon.

Jodo seems to have been displaying signs of bold impatience recently, that seem to have coincided with Luke?s appearance at the Dantooine Academy. Jodo, more than most, seems to be sick of hiding in the underground, and has had many long discussions with his former mentor in the necessities of staying in the shadows. His lightsabre skills have also developed substantially, and, even at such a young age, he is already gathering a reputation as one of the most combat adept Jedi in the Academy.

Personality:

With Jodo?s skills have also come confidence, almost to the point of arrogance. He often shows signs of impatience, wishing to rush in to action at the first sign of trouble. He finds it difficult to understand the pacifism of some of the older and wiser Masters, and sometimes his impatience threatens to grow into anger in especially frustrating circumstances. He has a lot of charisma, and this often displays itself fully when he is placed in positions of leadership. He also has a natural competitiveness, and this is shown when he chose to study Juyo, normally a style considered far too dangerous for someone his age, as it draws very near to the Dark Side of the force.

Other:

Jodo has a marking on the left side of his chest; a tattoo. It is the tribal symbol of his family.

Final Question:

I didn?t find any problems with the sign-up, but I?m in the same boat as you Gav in that I have extensive knowledge of the KOTOR series, so everything was familiar to me.

Biography:
The light was pouring in through the open window in a small town located on Dorin, and a small Kel Dor was playing on his own, he was barely 3 months old, but he was already adapting to the language of his Homeworld, and he could almost nearly walk which made his parents proud. The world of Dorin was brightly lit up, the sun giving off heat and light as it bore down upon the worlds surface. And a small ship cast a massive shadow down upon the world as it blocked out the light.

The ship was a Republic Cruiser, with some different markings on it in different languages, as it landed many had gathered outside to see what the noise was about on such a perfect day. Once they saw it was Republican they went back about there business. The ship landed, and a few members exited from the rear, two large Wookies walking side by side, and a small green, thing, walking slightly in front of both of them. The green thing made his was towards the house of Koon, where little Sho was playing on the carpeted floor, unwary of what was preying upon his house.

A large knock at the door and two large adult Kel Dor?s opened the door and spoke to the small green thing like they had knew him for all of there life. The two adults allowed the green thing to make way into the room where Sho was happily sitting. The green thing sat down beside him; he greeted himself to the young Kel Dor who whistled away, he was the one known as Yoda.

And with that, it was done, Sho was taken aboard the cruiser, and his parents waved good-bye to him as the Jedi Master flew off into the universe and back to the Jedi Temple back on Coruscant. And at 3 months old he was enrolled to become a Padawan, and someday, a Jedi Knight, and perhaps a Master.

So for a few years, Sho was brought up and looked after until he was old enough to be allowed into a Youngling Clan, and there he learned the basics of lightsaber technique, Jedi Order history, and one of his favourite. Languages. He enjoyed learned Huttese the most, he was drawn towards the abnormality of it, but thought of it as an enthralling experience to learn such a complex language.

Sho was brought up like any normal Youngling, taught lightsaber techniques, the history of the religion, everything that could be expected, and this happened for several years, until he reached the age of 12, he was called upon and asked if he was ready to be taken to the Kinrath caves to find his crystal and to construct his lightsaber. He accepted the challenge and was given all the parts he would need to construct his lightsaber apart from the crystal. He was accompanied by a Jedi Knight, his name he didn?t know, and still doesn?t, he does know that the Jedi did fall to the Sith when the attack on the Temple took place.

The caves greeted the youngling horribly, the day was the worse it had been, and he was soaked by the time he had gotten into the caves. Spiders lurched forward, but he pushed them away with his Force Push and the crumpled and ran off, every so often more would come, but they served the same fate. Finally the central cavern dawned upon them, it was almost empty, apart from a particularly large spider sitting in the back corner. Sho made a dash to where a large set of crystals were perched.

The spider lurched forward, landing mere inches away from the youngling, he attempted to use his Force powers, but the spider brushed off the force push, and attempted an attack, Sho snapped off a crystal from the wall and threw it towards the Jedi Knight who keenly caught it, and nodded as Sho pushed his training lightsaber deep into the underbelly of the giant spider, the spider croaked slightly and jamp back. Sho pushed the spider against the wall and made run out of the caves, the Jedi Knight, a few steps behind him.

The rain had lessened to barely a drizzle, and out ran the Knight and the Youngling, some spiders attempted to follow but lost interest as they got closer to the light. A cruiser was awaiting them as they breached the light, and as they got on, the youngling was shown to a workbench where he was to finish off the construction of his lightsaber.

Click Click

And that was it, the crystal was in place and ready, the youngling switched the lightsaber on, and it pulsated a deep purple.

Sho was taken across the system, and he saw them passing Coruscant, a message was received that they should report to the temple immediately, but they kept on going straight to Dantooine, a small landing area greeted them, and Sho was taken into a building, which looked like an academy. Sho was greeted by Voralla the Hutt, he explained the assault on Coruscant whilst taking Sho deeper into the Academy. Voralla explained that him and 11 other Padawan were to be brought and kept and trained in the Dantooine Academy.

Sho finished his final training, and was initiated as a Padawan Learner, and none-other than Voralla the Hutt took him as a Padawan.

Master Voralla asked him what class he would wish to study, he chose that of a Padawan Ambassador, his main focus being the use of the Force. Thus began his training in developing his skills as a Padawan, finishing off his technique in Shi-Cho, he was asked to chose a lightsaber skill to use, he chose Ataru, for he was quite agile and was quick on his feet.

Voralla taught him everything, and at age 16 he had nearly mastered Level 1 Ataru and was amazing at all his Tier 1 force powers. Yoda spoke to the young Sho in private one day, explaining to him of what was happening in the galaxies of the universe, how fighting between light and dark started to break out. Sho swore to Voralla that he could never turn to the dark side and Voralla believed him, they were quite a powerful grouping, not as powerful as some, but quite powerful in the way they bonded together.

During Sho and Voralla?s time together, Sho learned about the galaxy in more detail than before, what happened in the past, what wars have had impacts on life just now, and how the force connects with such events. And during this course of time, Sho also perfected his Huttese, which he was pleased about, but he didn?t plan on a trip to Nal Hutta for a while.

When Sho turned 20, the Council decided to allow Sho to take the trials. Courage, spirit, all of them, all passed, hard as they may have been to the Padawan he passed them, and was ready to become knighted and play his role as a Jedi Knight, and Voralla proudly gave him away for him to teach the ways of the force to another, or further his own teaching.

The life of a Jedi Knight wasn?t different from what Sho expected it to be, well from the learning point of view, he travelled to a mountainous area of Telos, built himself a shelter and taught himself different ways of the force, perfecting Ataru Level 2, and other Tier 2 powers which were opened up to him.

Sho trained in the Dantooine Academy like wild fire, the current Council Members were sure that he would be valuable, and as his training increased, so did his force power, lightsaber technique and Ataru. Then one day, when the sun was setting, and Sho had finished his training, he thought he was ready to take

He would be enrolled as a Jedi Master; aged 37 he was ready to become a Jedi Master and finally achieve Level 3 Ataru and get to those Tier 3 Force Powers. He would finally be ready to take on anything that came his way, Sith or Fallen Jedi alike. Sho Koon was enrolled as a Master, taking a place in the Council too, he would have the power to destroy and to save, the force permitting.

Personality:
Sho Koon is a very, very calm person who can talk himself his way out of anything without the use of Force Confusion. Sho gets by mainly with his Force Powers, and hates using a lightsaber unless completely necessary, so he is more of the pacifist type. But Sho is more than skilled in the ways of the Force, the use of a Lightsaber against Sho wouldn?t be very useful as Force Whirlwind and Stasis Field will have you disarmed in no time. Even in his use of Force Powers, Sho is very determined to incapacitate a hostility than chop off their arms to make the hostility rendered un-hostile. Sho, like any Jedi, is willing to give up their own life for another.

Other:
Sho carries a gold chain which is normally wrapped around his hand, or put on around his neck, his mother gave him two, one of which he gave to a friend in the Youngling clan to remember him by.

Payja uses a single Lightsaber having long ago abandoned any hope of mastering the skill with Dual Lightsabers. The blade itself is a bright yellow colour, giving the whole Lightsaber a very rustic look. The hilt is made of a bronze coloured metal and has a very rough appearance with scores across one side of the hilt for a much better grip. The hilt itself is very simple in design with the activator being the only protruding aspect of the Lightsaber. The hilt itself is short, just long enough for Payja to wrap both hands around it. The top of the hilt has a guard for her hands which spreads out in a star shape, Payja has been known to use this part of her hilt as a weapon without even activating the blade. Payja has made sure that her Lightsaber is as light as possible, she finds this easier to handle considering the style of fighting she uses. On the end of the hilt hangs a short chain with two beads on the end, one red and the other black. Payja has these as charms?they remind her of her master and how he is always with her in spirit while he cannot be there in person.

Force Powers:
Knight Valour, Force Aura, Improved Force Jump, Improved Battle Meditation, Force Deflection, Force Whirlwind, Mind Trick

Appearance:
Payja stands at 5?5?? in height, her build and features in proportion to each other. Her fighting style lends itself to a lean build and while Payja does not look like the strongest of fighters she can most definitely fight with the best of them. Her smallish build is very deceiving and many have been caught unawares by it. Her long slender legs and longs arms give Payja bursts of speed that are useful in battle, she is also able to jump easily. Her red hair is kept short and is usually spiky though this does not make her look less effeminate as it shows off her long face with it?s high cheek bones and slim eyes. Her eyes are a dark green colour, often getting darker when she is angry. Her lashes are long and thick, giving her a stare a very lasting effect on people. She has milky white skin and long fingers tipped with clipped nails.

*Attachment*
That scan is so terrible, I apologise. Her robes are a mixture of cream and brown, like Mace Windu's. She also has gold streaks along the front part of chest armor. Her boots are black suede and she wears a dark brown cloak like Obi Wan.

Biography:
A sweltering hot day with the sand storms rising far off in the distance marked the birth of a little girl, second child of the house of Sunstorm. She didn?t cry when the nurse wrapped a soft brown towel around her, the few strands of dark red hair sprouting from her white and bloodstained head sticking to her forehead. Her mother was proud, no, ecstatic that her daughter had acted as such?. just as she had been told by the travelling Jedi Master. The woman, now in her forties, took the silent girl into her arms and cradled her softly to her chest, smiling warmly down at her newest daughter--the only daughter of the family. ?And you shall be Payja, my child, and you shall grow strong??
----
The Sunstorm family well were respected people on the planet of Tatooine. Payja?s father (Sarle Sunstorm), a merchant and ex-pilot, had made a tidy sum of money over his years and he had donated a large amount of it to various charities. Her mother, a beautiful women, designed clothes but also made a point of going into the poorer areas of their hometown to help out with whatever she could. They were a model family and when their first son was born it was obvious that he would grow to be a great man.

As his son grew older, Sarle Sunstorm knew instinctively that there was something about him that was special?different than the boys he had befriended. Even though he did not know what this feeling was he was sure that it was something good and pure. These suspicions were confirmed when a Jedi Master was forced to stop in Tatooine, his ship battered almost beyond repair. The people directed the Jedi to Sarle and his wife, Nu?Yav, telling him that he would be well looked after while his ship was repaired. The process, they explained, could well take up to a week if the Jedi was willing to wait that long.

When the man entered the house of Sunstorm he immediately sensed the force strongly radiating from the child?s room. The boy, at the time, was six years old and his mother was with child once again. As the Jedi master entered the room and introduced himself to the women he was once again hit by the power of the force, faint though it was. After a few days of staying with the Sunstorm family he realised that their children, both the unborn and young boy, would become great fighters if they so wished. He informed the parents of this and they asked if he would one day come and visit them, he promised he would and that promise he carried out fourteen years later on the day of Payja?s brother?s birthday.

He took both children the following day, showing more interest in the eight-year-old girl who clutched protectively to her brother?s hand while he instead wept for his mother. The girl shed no tears. She did not frown. It was as if she was void of all emotion. The Master knew all too well that she would turn out to be a Jedi while her brother would not survive through such intense training.

As Payja?s skill grew with her years she realised that being a Jedi is what she wanted, and being a Master eventually is what she needed. Her master was killed while she was still a Padawan and even then she did not show any sign of sadness or remorse. The other Jedi did not know whether to be shocked or awed by this.

She then settled with her current master, a great man and a great fighter. He is the only one she opens up to and shows any emotion towards?he is like a father to her. Payja has made a name for herself among the other Jedi Knights. She is by no means the most powerful of them all; she repeatedly failed when training in using the Dual Lightsaber and was very close to injury herself in the process. She is able to wield the force the acute accuracy, but once again she does not have much power when using it. Her master believes this is because she has no emotion, not even the adrenaline that anger provides when in the heat of battle.

Payja is seemingly content with whatever situation she finds herself in and will remain loyal to her master and her cause throughout. Lately she has grown to be a little more restless than previously, though she claims she is merely ready to fight for the people who need protecting and will finally prove herself to both her new and deceased master in the process. Payja keeps a diary and writes in it every night, while her master knows of this he is not quite sure of what she details in those pages, choosing instead not to pry in her private affairs.

Payja continues to train harder than she has done when she was younger and is eager to move to a higher level. This sudden thirst for more power is proving to be worrying to a few Jedi masters; it is something they have decided to keep a watch on.

Personality:
Payja is, as her fighting style suggests, an aggressive woman when she wants to be. While most of the time she chooses not to hint at whatever emotion she is feeling at the time she does open up to her master and shows her ?true self? around him. When with the people she trusts, Payja wears a small smile and can crack out a few good jokes gaining laughs from those she socialises with. When pushed too far Payja has been known to snap, some claim this is because she was taken away from her family too soon, other?s have opinions they choose to keep to themselves. Sometimes sarcastic though mostly a genuinely decent human being, Payja is a steady and eager learner even though she can handle herself in most situations. While by no means the most elegant of fighters, Payja is fiercely determined and will carry out a mission to the very end no matter what the consequences. She is very loyal to her master and to the rest of the Jedi. She is a firm believer in morals and humanity.

Other:
The small chain (only about 4 inches in length) that Payja has attached to the end of her Lightsaber is a reminder to her and others of her late master. She looks to this for support and will rub the two beads on the end of the chain when she becomes stressed or nervous. While it will not show in her face, Payja?s fingers will twitch and she will fiddle with her robes or beads when she feels she is under threat.
----

You have no idea how much I?m looking forward to this. If you couldn?t pick it up from my sign-up, I did try to make it subtle, there is something I need to discuss with you, dearest Gavin. I really hope this is up to par; my brain has officially given up and died. Heh.

Edit: I thought the sign up sheet was brilliant, I can't remember much about Star Wars and I haven't played either of the KOTOR games (though I am buying them, as you suggested) and I could still make perfect sense of everything. At least, I hope I did.

Edit2: I've taken Unborn Lord Xion on as my Padawan, I hope this is okay, Gavin. He's going to include it in his bio so I don't have to re-write mine.

Biography:
To Mr. I'ckra & Mrs. Shevali P'attou
Ryloth
Date Unknown

Dear Mother and Father,
I have not spoken to you in many years, centuries for what it feels like. I know I left when I was a child, and that the only way to be saved was for me to be sold into slavery. I despised you at first, but as time has gone I've become acceptive of what happened. Taxes were too high, and money was tight. I moved on and no longer feel the need to seek vengence, but that does not mean I forgive you. When I left my home of Ryloth, Lord Keldmoni a Neimoidian with a bad attitude, yes you remember him do you not? Took me into his care on the home planet, except that this care was torture. I learned how to dance, sing, and entertain guests at the nightclubs all across the galaxy. But my home now is on Bestine, Tattooine.

For me, money was not an option, I danced for food. I hope you know how much I have suffered. I was not free, and how much I longed for the day that I would be once again on my own, but had not a coin to support my funds. One day, Kaldmoni got angry with me because I had refused to go with an eager rodian who wanted me to dance for him and his friends in a private room in a cantina. I have more dignitie then that, but of course Keldmoni didn't like this. Somehow I managed to throw floating objects at his forehead knocking him backwards breaking a table. A fight soon broke out. I could hear the echo's of Keldmoni's curses through the crowd and soon knew if I had stayed any longer, I would surely have been beaten to death.

Fearing for my life, I fled only to be followed by a hooded stranger. This stranger turned out to be a Trandoshan man with green scales and big blue eyes. He smiled at me warmly and told me he had come to help. Little did I know this incident would change me forever father, for I know you always told me stories where one incident would change a pesron's life for the better. This ended up being just like one of those stories. He was a Jedi that was a part of the Galactic Alliance. He was suppose to be a slave trader as most Trandoshans but is one of the few that has rebelled against it. That was when I first met my master, Obiski Ishorox.

It didn't take me long to use my force, for I had found out I had a gift like Aayla Secura, you remember her don't you mother? I never would have dreamed of being in the footsteps of my idol. It wasn't long before we had harsh training on Tattooine. Years of harsh training, but in the end it all was worth it. My master Obiski was later killed in a raid by tusken raiders, they had pulled him into a trap. His death is much of a mystery to me, but I miss him dearly, for he was more like a father to me then anyone since you two were never around. I arrived at the Jedi Academy where I attended Soresu classes, they were timeconsuming but have done my mind well. I hope to one day become a great fighter and prove to you that I was someone special, and could not be replaced. One day you will regret the day you gave me up, and hear the stories of my victories. Goodbye Mother and father until the time comes when we shall see eachother's face once more.

Sincerely,
Your daughter
Enai P'attou

P.S. I would love to see my pet gnort T'orvic once again.

Personality:
Enai is very strong minded and believes that defensive strategies are viewed as weak to others, but to her is a powerful tool necessary in any battle. Her views on life are displayed in the way she speaks very lucidly. Although she has had a tough life, she is a happy and cheerful person who is always willing to lend a hand. She will almost always back someone up but that does not mean she is very trusting. Enai finds it hard to trust others because of her difficult past that she has never fully let go, and can get aggressive when pushed. Most of the time she is laid back and easygoing. Using the force has always been her greatest asset, and she is proud to show it.

Other: I've never played the KOTOR games, but I've learned alot about races from playing the Star Wars Galaxies MMORPG and facts. Also, this RPG is awesome. I love how you set up everything.

Final Question: You said to hold off on biographies until later, when do we find out if we get an apprentence? BTW, I'm still confused about what timeline era we're at so sorry if my bio doesn't make complete sense.

Lightsaber: Double edged lightsaber. The hilt is curved for a better grip, in the Dueling style. The blade has an emerald colored blade that shines in the darkest light. Zeratul has added various new crystals to his Lightsaber, increasing the beam output, the ease and grace, and the length.

Lightsaber Style:Ataru [Form IV]

Force Powers: Master Battle Meditation, Force Wave, Master Valor, Force Redirection, Advanced Lightsaber Throw, Force Immunity

Appearance: Here. Combat has grizzled this middle age man, leading to his whiteish hair. He also sports a black vest made of Shyrrak scales, and a grey Jedi robe, instead of those clothes seen in the hologram. Zeratul is holding the lightsaber of a Jedi he met on Korriban, on a trip to the descreet, but demolished Sith temple.

Biography: Pending Padawan Learner.

Personality: Zeratul was a raging youth once, who couldn't control his emotions. However, time has changed that, with the scars of war embedded into his mind. Zeratul is rational, and keeps a level head. However, he can get strict with his Padawan, but its all in good sport, as he usually is kidding. Zeratul has a sarcastic side he doesn't really show, as he must show a good example for those he has sworn to teach and protect. He doesn't mean to be so masochistic, but that's just the way he comes off, different from other Jedi.

Other: Zeratul also keeps a blaster or two by his side, for the times when he just can't use his Lightsaber. Sometimes he has a blaster in one hand, his lightsaber in the other, with just one of the sides extended.

Final Question: Brilliantly done, Gavin. I think it leaves a lot of room for the person to customize, because the age spectrum is wide, the ranks and classes are varied, and well, overall, you did a great job.

Homeworld: Naboo

Affiliate Order: New Jedi Order

Rank: Padawan

Class: Padawan Ambassador [Force Focus]

Lightsaber: Single lightsaber, sunny orange blade. The hilt is silver blue, and etched through with bronze sea creatures. The etchings serve a dual purpose - they remind her of her home world, and also act as grips to keep her saber from slipping through her fingers.

Lightsaber Style: Ataru - [Form IV] - Level One

Force Powers:
Force Aura
Valour
Revitalize
Force Barrier
Force Jump
Energy Resistance
Battle Meditation
Force Push

Appearance: Taj is tall and gangly, like most of her race. Still being young, she's "only" six feet tall, and very slender. Her hands and feet seem to be a bit too big for the rest of her.

Her patch-markings are a little darker, and her skin under them is a little lighter than those shown in the picture, and her eyes are dark green.

She wears loose white pants and a tunic under a pine green hooded robe. She also carries a silver whistle on a hemp chord. No real reason, she just likes the noise.

Biography: Gungans are not known for being great Jedi. Comedians, perhaps. Mechanics, perhaps. Anglers, perhaps. But Jedi? Not really. Which is why it was such a surprise for Rav and Gil Niko when the Jedi said that their little girl had Jedi potential. So at the age of five, Taj was taken to the Academy.

While there, she did have a few problems. The language, for one. Basic is not easy for a Gungan to learn...and while a Gungan can learn it, they sound very silly in the process. And even little Jedi kids can tease. Another problem was her clumsiness. While a little clumsiness is normal in children, it seemed almost chronic in Taj. the friendly Gungan took the teasing in stride, never putting too much thought into what the other children were saying, except when they teased her accent.

All the teasing ended for good when the Yuzhan Vong declared their war on all Jedi. Taj was still very young at the time, still considered a youngling, but in the face of the threatened massacre, most of the younglings were paired with Masters; not necessarily as Padawans, but merely for their protection in the face of the Vong and their Jedi hunters, the strange creatures known as Voxyn.

Taj and the other younglings of her class spent quite some time on the run; hiding from the Vong. Even though they were hunted from planet to planet, the Masters were always training the younglings; protecting them with their lives. It was a rough time - until Booster Terrik offered his Star Destroyer as a safe haven for the Jedi. Therefore, the year where she began to truly realize what being a Jedi means where spent in space.

Since the end of the war with the Vong, Taj has slowly began developing into a slightly more graceful being; her lightsaber training unlocking a sure-footed-ness that she's never felt before. Thus far, the grace only appears in lightsabre training, but her master assures her that she won't be clumsy for the rest of her life. As a matter of fact, she was engaged in lightsabre practice when the Sith attacked. She and some of the other Padawans helped keep the younglings out of harms way, deep under the temple...

Personality: Taj is very...enthusiastic. When she is given a job to do, she tries her hardest to get it done. Whether the results always turn out the way that is wanted/needed is a touchy point. She rarely acts with the decorum needed for a Jedi, although this is something she's trying to develop; something her Master has been admirably patient about.

She also has problems being patient. When she is waiting for things, she wants them now. However, she is incredibly flexible with her time, often giving up free time to help friends.

Other: Taj speaks better Basic than most Gungans, but quite often the "Meesa" accent shows through. She has a tendency to "hero worship". She looked up to
Anakin Solo, and was almost heartbroken when she found out he was killed.
*. She will also listen to anything Corran Horn says.

Final Question: I thought it was excellent, actually. All I had to do was copy and paste, which gives me more time to focus on the bio and personality.

EDIT----------------------------------

Ok here is my new sign up.

Name: Shi-Shi Ba

Age: 40

Gender: Female

Race: Kaminoan

Home world: Kamino

Affiliate Order: Old Jedi Order

Rank: Jedi Master

Class: Jedi Master

Lightsaber: Dual Lightsaber. This lightsaber is unique from all other dual lightsabers. If you activate it the first time, one side appears making it into a normal lightsaber. But if the battle seems to get a little bit tougher she pulls out the other half of the lightsaber. It is about 3 feet when it is in it's normal lightsaber stage. Including the second part it is about 6 feet long. Shi-Shi worked very hard to build this lightsaber, though it was a pink appearance, she can really pack a swipe with this weapon.

Lightsaber Style: Soresu [Form III]: Level 2

Force Powers:
Master Heal
Master Speed
Force Wave
Destroy Droid
Force Redirection

Appearance: Click

Biography: Shi-Shi was born into a wealthy clan family on the planet of Kamino. Her father was usually gone, due to the fact he was part of the Council representing the Kaminoan race. Shi-Shi attended a Jedi Academy as early as a youngling. From a young age Shi-Shi was always calm and liked to take the non-violent path to problems. During her many days at the academy Shi-Shi took her breaks to study the Jedi Order and become more of an expert in the world of politics. She liked a decent debate once in a while, this personality got her farther in her Jedi career. Once she graduated from the Jedi Academy and went on to become a Jedi she had one goal in mind. To go on her first mission and complete it without any flaws.

Shi-Shi requested an audience with the most powerful Master Jedi?s in order to get the best mission that she could. At first they weren?t too sure about sending such a young Jedi on a mission so early in their career. Shi-Shi insisted that she had trained harder than all the other Padawan?s. Her strong charismatic skills got the best of the audience and she was sent on a mission to negotiate with a near-by clan that was threatening to leave the Republic at the time. There her skills weren?t enough, they started to attack. Luckily the camp only had few inhabitants at the time. Shi-Shi won the battle but swore to never kill again.

As she returned she was greeted with such celebration it was overwhelming. Shi-Shi was the first Padawan to go on such a dangerous mission and return without any injuries. Later on Shi-shi would become a Jedi Master, a very high and respected one at that.

Personality: Shi-Shi is a very calm and collected person. She has the heart of a dragon, and a mind as wise as the old man who lives in the mountains. She can be in one of her two different personalities, her charismatic one or her calm one. Her charismatic side is very outspoken, independent and determined. While the calm side is quiet, wise, and soft-spoken. These two personalities tend to differ on where Shi-shi resides at the time.

Other: N/A

Final Question
I found this very easy actually. I liked the wide variety of selections, this was my favorite part. You made the picking of powers and ranks very easy in a step-by-step process. I think you have done an outstanding job with this RPG.

I've been looking for a Star Wars RPG and this one looks like it will be good. Anyway, onto the sign up sheet.

I'm not sure if my information on Iridonia is correctm because there is very little information about it and most of what I have is a result of a Google search.

Just tell me if there is anything I would need to change if it would help the RPG.

Name: Zakin Krasiri.

Age: 16.

Gender: Male.

Race: Zabrak.

Homeworld: Iridonia.

Affiliate Order: New Jedi Order.

Rank: Padawan Learner.

Class: Padawan Ambassador.

Lightsaber: Single Lightsaber with a light green blade. The hilt is black and has red lines going through it that forms an insignia that has been in his family for generations. Besides that it is basically like any other lightsaber.

Lightsaber Style: Ataru [Form IV] - Level One.

Force Powers: Heal, Force Push, Force Direction, Throw Lightsaber, Stun Droid, Burst of Speed, Revitalize, Energy Resistance.

Appearance: The clothes he wears look like This, but without the armor over the left arm. His skin is a light brown color and on his head are the horns all Zakbar have. He has short blue-ish-black hair that begins right behind the horns. His eyes are light brown and when he loses focus and becomes angry his eyes become more and more of a yellowish color.

Biography: Zakin came from Iridonia, an inhospitable world located on the edge of the Mid and Outer Rim. Its surface scoured by 200-kilometer-per-hour storms and acidic seas which threw caustic spray onto the land. Many Zabraks had left their homeworld of Iridonia because of this harsh climate. Those that stayed mainly stayed because they couldn't afford to leave. Zakin's family is one of those that continued to live on Iridonia. Since the only land there was for Zabraks to farm was located within canyons most towns on Iridonia were set up within or near these canyons.

When he first arrived on Yavin 4 he already knew Galactic Basic as it is taught to Iridonians after learning their own language of Zabrak (If I'm not mistaken their language is named the same as their race). He had originally wanted to be a Jedi so that he could become stronge as he was always teased by Zabraks back home because he wasn't as aggresive and strong as other Zabraks. That was, until he learned more of the ways of the Jedi.

When the Sith first attacked, Zakin had been well into his second year of training. He, along with most of the other Jedi, hid below the temple.

Personality: Unlike most other Zabraks he is not very aggressive. He has trouble trusting people because he believes that anyone can be an enemy. This feeling is mostly becuase of learning the history of the many times Jedi have been betrayed by others. Of the few people he does trust and acts himself around is his mentor. He tries to free himself from emotion according to his training, and he does it well, most of the time. His Zabrak background still acts up every now and then, making him show emotions of superiority and pride, bordering on arrogence. He always tries to find ways to solve problems without resorting to the use of his lightsaber or any other type of violence.

Other: (I can't think of anything for this)

Final Question: I think it was laid out well and made it easy to create a unique character.

Homeworld: Kamino

Affiliate Order: New Jedi Order

Rank: Jedi Knight

Class: Jedi Consular

Lightsaber: Single Lightsaber with a white blade. The handle is silver and ebony metals inlaid and is completely smooth, its switch being idented into the handle.

Lightsaber Style: Soresu [Form III] - Level One

Force Powers: Improved Heal - Force Shield - Force Deflection - Stasis -Mind Trick - Improved Force Jump - Improved Revitalize

Appearance: Cula looks like basically all Kaminoans there really isn't a major difference in the appearence of different Kaminoans. Her eyes look like this except they are icey blue where the yellowish colour is. She stands at 6'5.

Biography: Cula was born about the same year the first Death Star was found and destroyed, but due to the Kaminoans not paying much attention to what happened outside their world, her parents didn't care and didn't even think about who was fighting since it didn't affect them. She grew up without the influences of almost any other species, besides the clones that her race makes.

Her parents found it strange that sometimes when their daughter was in the room, things would go flying. They just didn't pay that much attention to it...until her grandfather figured out that she was the one causing the objects to fly across the room.

Her parents, immediatly thinking something was wrong with her, sent her to one of the cloning facilities to have that imperfection remedied. After a series of tests and expiriments, they gave up on trying to correct the "problem" since it was obvious that it wasn't able to be fixed.

So she went on being the way she was and when she was sixteen Cula began work in one of the medical areas of a cloning facility because of how well she did with sick people.

One day, while she was working, one of the Kaminoans who had worked on a clone army [and had visited with the Jedi that had come to look at said army] was inspecting the room she was working in, to make sure it was performing correctly. While he was there, Cula had one of her "moments" when something just flew without anybody touching it.

Before the she could apologize for breaking the piece of machinary she had thrown, the other Kaminoan asked her if she often did this. Explaining that, yes she did, he asked her if she had thought of the possibility that she could be a Jedi.

After determining that it was quite possible for her to be a Jedi, he sent out a message to a Jedi he knew, who came and confirmed for her and her family that she was indeed a Jedi. he took her with him to train.

Cula's Master, Master Gotto, a Bothan, was an expert on healing and taught her that as well as how to fight and other things that are necessary for a Jedi to learn.

She did better at the healing and defense parts of her training than the attack, but was quite competent in that as well and at the age of twenty she became a Jedi Knight, something she had looked forward to since becoming her Master's Padawan.

After becoming a Jedi Knight, Cula went on ambassadorial missions as well as ones that required a healer. Once, on one of her numerous visits to Mon Calamari she met Cilghal, the niece of Admiral Ackbar, an ambassador to the republic and a reknowed Jedi healer.

When Cula was twenty-five, the Yuuzhan Vong began their attack while she was at the academy just back from a mission. Booster Terrick and his crew took the younglings and Knights that were at the academy to safety in his ship.

After leaving the ship, Cula traveled around with a group of Jedi healers such as herself staying away from the Vong as much as they could and helping out where they were needed.

Cula's group mainly helped out on on watery planets such as Naboo and Mon Calamari, the latter of which had been attacked very heavily by the Vong.

Cula did not recieve a Padawan to train until she was thirty-three years old, a rather strange length of time to wait before getting one.

She was returning from a mission to Mon Calamari where she had been helping their healers with their research on various deseases, and she noticed one of the younglings at the academy sitting apart from the others. After speaking to the child for some time, she requested that she be allowed to train him.

They were well into her Padawan's second year of training when the Sith attacked. Cula and her Padawan hid below the temple with some of the other Jedi, staying there until Luke arrived back on Yavin at which time they left the underground temple to return to semi-normalacy.

Personality: Cula has a somewhat strict and reserved personality, and at times she can be rather clueless to when others are joking.

She, like most of her race, is somewhat intolerant to imperfection, but as she is always continuing to grow and learn through the force she is well on her way to accepting that not everything is going to be perfect and she can't hold it against others, especially since she herself isn't perfect.

She doesn't have a very obvious sense of humour, you have to be around her for a while before you catch on to it, and she is very quick to help those who need it, medical or otherwise. She is a very gentle person and doesn't like to hurt others, but if she has to protect herself, other of the Jedi, or civilians, she will.

Other: It may appear that the white clothes she always wears are boring but through her eyes, because the Kaminoan can see colours in the ultra violet spectrum, they are the iridescant colours of the rainbow.

Final Question: Liked it very much. Very well thought out. I especially like the use of Teirs, and the Jedi Ranks.

Sounds interesting  :

Name: Gia Tsunami

Age: 20, although he still looks like a teenager.

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Home World: Coruscant

Affiliated Order: Old Jedi Order

Rank: Jedi Knight

Class: Jedi Sentinel

Lightsaber: Silver-blue single lightsaber. It has a silver dragon shaped hilt.

Lightsaber Style: Makashi- Level 1

Force Powers: Force Whirlwind, Force Deflection, Force Immunity, Improved Battle Meditation, Improved Heal, Improved Force Jump

Appearance: 6'2", 185 lbs. Black hair and piercing black eyes. See pic. in attached.

Biography:
Gia was born to a poor family in the slums of Coruscant. When he was just two years old, 12 thugs came to his home. They killed his family in front of him as he watched. When they attacked his mother, Gia began to scream. Something stirred the air and the twelve thugs flew back, running away with fear in their eyes. Gia, unknowingly, had used the Force to push the thugs away. However, he was too late, his mom was already dead.

His force push had been felt by a Jedi Knight who had been passing by overhead. The Jedi came down to the lower levels to investigate the disturbance. He found eight bodies laying on the floor of the house, including that of a young child. He could sense the life force of the baby, it was still alive, just sleeping. The Jedi sensed that Gia was unusually strong in the force, even at his young age. The Jedi took him up and headed to the Jedi Council with his new discovery.

The Council tested the sleeping child, they were disturbed by his level of sensitivity and power in the force. They discussed whether or not Gia was too powerful and dangerous to be trained. After a day of debate, they decided that it would be an even greater danger to not train such a child in the ways of the force. Gia was taken in with great reluctance. He was never placed on the Jedi records.

Gia was raised in the Academy, knowing nothing but the Jedi Order. In dreams, he would hear screams of pain, disturbing his sleep. At 5 years old, he trained himself physically, running farther than any other padawan. He pushed himself to his limits at every session. He strove to perfect his lightsaber fighting ability, wanting to be perfect. Because of his resolve, he became extremely adept with the lightsaber and at the same time naturally powerful with the Force. He became a balanced Jedi, something many strove to do but failed at. He became good enough to be a Jedi knight by the age of 15 but wasn't officially recognized until his 20th birthday.

When Luke Skywalker came to the Secret Academy, Gia was curious and wanted to see how good the new Jedi were. When Luke Skywalker returned a second time, this time with news of the return of the Sith, Gia abandoned his intention to challenge Master Skywalker and began to practice even more fervently than he had before.

Personality: He is a kind person to those who are good. He likes a challenge and sparring with the force and lightsaber. He is always calm and decisive during battle. He will kill without remorse because when he does kill, there isn't any other option. He always strives to do his best, never giving up. He strives to be the best Jedi that ever lived, even greater than the chosen one or Master Yoda ever was. He enjoys the company of other people but prefers to be alone at times. He is very protective of those he loves and cares for and will defend them at all costs. He will not stand back while innocents are being hurt or killed. He doesn't much care for the rules of the Jedi Order. He is slow to anger.

Other: None

Last Question: It was too restrictive. The decision between who can beat who should be based on the player's rpg skills, not on whether or not one is stronger in the force or supposedly more skilled at lightsaber fighting. Say if a player is more skilled at sparring and his character, a Jedi Consul, goes against another player's Jedi Guardian in a lightsaber battle. The Guardian shouldn't be able to automatically beat the Jedi Consul.

Plus, the characters should be able to gain more force skills and lightsaber fighting abilities than the limits that were set. The character should be able to do some training to develop a Force power that it didn't possess before. Stuff like that. I say do away with the classes (Jedi Consular, Jedi Sentinel, etc.) and just keep the Padawan, Jedi Knight, Jedi Master ranks. Then the force powers and lightsaber skills could be based on the rank that the character is at. Also, the power to move/stop/redirect objects should be under one power instead of multiple powers. Other than that, everything else was okay. :animeswea

Tell me if I have to change anything.

Jion's lightsaber is very strangely crafter, with a long, narrow hilt that has slender strands of metal encircling the handle and a bent-back ring of metal that acts as a kind of handguard. The hilt is slightly hooked, and he has his family name, "Orlander," enscribed on it. The blade itself is a pure white, white the occasional flash of dark silver energy.

Like this. He wears the usual clothes of a Padawan learner, but has dyed his outer jacket black and has a bright red head-band to keep back his long hair.

Biography:
The Orlanders were not rich, nor were they famous. They had no claim to fame, no special lineage, no ties to greater things. They were a simple family, with little in the way of material worth. But they had something that too few did in this time of darkness and poverty. The Orlanders had honor.

And it was for this very reason that when a group of Jawas approached the Orlander patriarch, Karell, and made him an offer of riches in exchange for being a Jawa workhorse, he declined. It is because of the Orlander honor that when Karell's wife, Arrisa, was kidnapped, he went after her. It was because of their foolish pride, and endless honor, that Jion was rendered an orphan in the sands of Tatooine.

The world was a dark place from then on for young Jion. He was alone - his elder sister, and sole guardian, was killed but a year later by Sand People. He was embittered by his losses, made violent and angry by all that had been taken from him so unfairly. So he devoted his life to taking from others. He wanted vengeance from the world, and all within it. And thus, the Orlander honor temporarily vanished in a haze of rage.

All was going well for the young thief, until he cross the wrong man. Not just any man, of course. A Jedi. The wise old Knight caught Jion in the act, and would've cast the boy out onto the street, if he hadn't noticed something different about the street rat. Whispers of the force clung to the boy, and the old Jedi saw that it could be cultivated into true power.

The old Jedi was the one who gave Jion the lightsaber that the boy uses even today, and trained him for 5 years until the elder's untimely end. Jion cherishes the lightsaber as a reminder of his Master, just as he cherishes his sister's ring.

Bitter and angry at the world, Jion has had everything he cares for taken from him until now. And now, with his new powers, he will not let anyone take anything from him again. Anyone who crosses him risks his seemingly fathomless wrath. It is a darkness that keeps his heart tied to the pain of the past. But the elders believe - he can sever the ties of darkness, and release himself from pain and hatred.

At least, they hope he can.

Personality:
Jion is not a good Jedi, at least, not when it comes to ridding himself of emotion. It's probably one of the major reasons he's still Padawan, since he does have a good grasp of the force and and even greater grasp of the lightsaber. Jion is, when you get right down to it, a punk. He's fairly rebellious, especially to his Master, and never holds his tongue, which makes it a wonder he hasn't had it cut out by now. His rather abraisive nature is complemented with a fiery temper and frequent bouts of unchecked aggression and recklessness.

However, Jion's street rat nature isn't all bad; he's also picked up a clever mind and a skilled sense of strategy. He can talk his way out of almost anything, using a surprisingly cautious tongue when he wants to. In addition, his recklessness isn't really reckless; he is a brilliant judge of danger and risk, and has yet to make a seriously life-threatening act. His only real rough spot is his tendency to give into battle lust.

Other:
The only remnants of Jion's past are his lightsaber and a dragon ring that he always wears, and the former will be used on any who tries to take the latter.

Dual Lightsabers. Both are very short in comparison to the average lightsaber, each only reaching around 1-2 feet in height. Both are orange with a yellowish glow and a blueish hilt. The end of the blade extends a bit to look more like a scimitar, with more reach. Her saber is a bit more brutal than most, with more heat and friction. Therefore, a close miss with these weapons will still leave you burned. It does not cut very smooth, rather jagged.

She likes speed most of all, but is not afraid of risking her own life to no end to get the job done. A dangerous style is best in the hands of someone like her.

Appearance-
(Decided no pic was necesary since there's... Really nothing a picture could do that my description doesn't.)
Ka'nikoo looks much like any other Jawa excapt she is even shorter than most (A difficult feat indeed) and is very pretty... For a Jawa. Her cloak is almost back, opposed to the dull brown. Her eyes are green rather than the orangish red that is typical for her species. In battle, she wears a baggy black outfit. It has a sort of ninja-esque, if you ask me. (I sketched all of her junk, but my scanner decided not to work today. It matters very little, at any rate.)

Biography-
It was a fateful day on Tatooine for Ka'nikoo. There had been no water anywhere for many weeks, and her clan was diminishing. They had discovered the meaning of the drought. Humans had invaded thier land. The Jawa knew not thier purpose, only that they had weaponry the Jawa species couldn't even imagine. Silver hand-held weapons that shot flaming beams and bullets. It was this day the humans discovered Ka'nikoo's clan. They moved swiftly, murdering everyone. Ka'nikoo had hidden from the fight, terrified. She could watch no more. The last of her Jawa clan stood in front of her. Only eight years old, she stepped out from behind the rocks and joined them in a battle to the death. Her elder brother was killed, and so were the rest. Ka'nikoo was all that was left. She shed angry tears that noone could see beond her cloak.

This would be the last time she ever cried.

She leaped at the man who had shot her brother, sinking her fist into his chest. She watched him fall to the ground dead, and picked up his weapon. After only very few moments, she had destroys all her attackers. She had been shot three times, and had a hole all the way throught her midsection. She left her bloody home, her hands dripping with the blood of man, her cloak dripping with her own blood. As she passed out, she knew her inevitable fate. Something then happened that she would not have expected. She was resqued by a Jedi Master/Knight (Dunno yet) and brought upon the Jedi Council to judge. The Jedi quickly began to teach Ka'nikoo in the ways of the force. She spent all of her time out-doing her fellow students. More than anything, she became well versed in Combat and many different styles of Lightsaber styles, soon choosing the most dangerous as her favorite.

She did not care for moving up in ranks. She did not respect any other Jedi. Maybe her teacher, but that was all. Many of her fellow Padwan Learners avoided her, since she was brutal and angry, and quite different from anyone else. The only one who saw anything in this young one was her teacher. The council members objected her being trained, for the force was weak with her. Despite that, she soon was much more deadly than any of her equals. In any pure-combat fight, she could out-fight even Jedi above her, but when it came to using the force, Ka'nikoo could only ever use it to propell herself and her weapons. She never could do much else. Her speed was unrivaled, but her one-ness with the force was nonexistant. There was no way she'd move up at this rate, though she could already defeat even masters in speed.

After another year, Ka'nikoo learned much more in the ways of the force, but was still unable to release her anger. Hateful emotions ruled her. Her teacher decided to destroy her angry feelings at the source. He/she sparred against her and defeated her horribly. She became even more angry with him/her. Ka'nikoo lunged at her teacher. The teacher blocked every attack with ease. After many hours of this, Ka'nikoo just asked how. How are you able to block every attack? The teacher smiled and told her thathe/she'd released all emotion and become a true Jedi. That is what Ka'nikoo needed to do, or she'd never get better then her current level. Ka'nikoo learned to overcome all emotion. She hated noone, loved noone, and cared only about the cause. She didn't necesarily fight for individual creatures, but for the good of all. It's been a year since that vow, and she's gotten much more powerful. She no longer wants power, though. She rarely knows what she wants anymore.

For more... I'm hoping to see who you pair me up with... If anyone in particular... Prefferably a human, so there can be a side-story of Ka'nikoo having to over-come her hate of humans, for that is the only way she can become a Jedi, and all that jazz.

Personality-
Withdrawn. Not angry, but never joyous. Refuses to talk unless to it required, even though she is fluent in over 150 languages. Orphaned at a young age, she meets up with a Jedi Master/Jedi Knight and comes to learn the ways of the Jedi. She is never afraid, and would be willing to accept the most difficult of tasks without a hint of qualm, even at her current level.

Other-
Nothing for me here.

His fur is red-ish brown instead, and he has no hood on his head, this is replaced with brown Jedi robs. When his robes are removed when he prepares for battle he has a white shirt on under the robes, along with whit pants to match.

Biography:
At the age of one, Han Solo came to endor in need to destroy the shield generator bunker. Eliwood?s father along with many other Ewoks assisted him and his rebel friends in their quest and came out successful. All though many of the Ewoks were killed Eliwood?s father came back to help raise there son. He told stories of how the Empire used technology in there warfare. Eliwood was now hoping t leave their forest home and go to the galaxies beyond.

On his 3rd birthday a ship that was heading to Yamen 4 crashed on the forest moon. The Ewoks helped them gather food and provide shelter until a new ship came to get the stranded (soon to be trained) Jedi. Eliwood?s mother told the protocol driod that Eliwood wanted to go with them, so returning the favor to the Ewoks; they took Eliwood to the Jedi Academy on Yamen 4. There he learned to speak the most common languages in the Universe, and began his Jedi Training at the age of almost 5.

Of course one for their first assignments was to construct a light saber, But Eliwood hardly knew anything about technology, and even worse, he had no crystal to power his saber, even (with other Jedi?s help) with his new light saber. So his Jedi master took him on a ship back to Endor to find a crystal. Eliwood?s mother gave him a pink sphere like crystal that had been in the family for years. On his return to the Jedi Academy he was taught how to use it and became very efficient with it.

Through out his training he became well in touched with the force and found he could use it to make his battle performance better. When the Sith attacked the Academy when Luke was away Eliwood planed the counter attack that saved many of the young Jedi.

On his 27th birth day, during the Jedi Council meeting on their new base on Dantooine, Eliwood, along with the rest of the Council, was now informed that the Sith lord had a base on the forest moon of Endor and was harassing the Ewoks that lived there. In fact the Sith lord was believed to be on the base now aiding his new apprentice on the invasion of Endor. Although the moon was not really a system and noting was to be gained from the salvation of it Eliwood was granted permission to go and stop the Sith Lord and his new apprentice.

Once back on his home. Eliwood noticed that that Village on the trees where he had once lived had been destroyed and that the Ewoks there were all killed. Eliwood now knowing the situation returned to the planet of Dantooine and request that he bring a squad of men with him to teach the Ewoks how to us a blaster, as the lack of technology on the moon was making it very easy for the Sith to get an maintain Control of the moon. Now with a group of men/droids to teach the Ewoks about blasters and other weapons of war, Eliwood lead them on a mission that took out the droid base closest to the biggest settlement of Ewoks. It was there that Eliwood meet Ping-Lai a Ewok shaman who made poisons and remedies for the army of little fuzzy bears. Eliwood and Ping-Lai confronted many bases and won and lost major battles, yet they only found the Sith once.

The Sith lord had left the moon shortly before Eliwood?s final victory on the planet. It was in the tree top cities of the Ewok?s that the two had a lightsaber battle and only through the help of Ping-Lai was Eliwood able to defeat the apprentice, who had come to assassinate him in his sleep. Eliwood however after disarming the Sith?s lightsaber, did not cut of and arm and let his go, or even give him a quick death. He used the Force to torment the Sith for all the Ewoks he had killed. Leaving for Dantooine once more he left in charge Ping-Lai, to command the battles against the droids that still occupies a small portion of the moon.

The suffering of his people still clouds his mind, making it almost impossible for the masters to know about the torment that he put the Sith through. Eliwood feels that even though he is needed at home more than ever he must follow the council?s orders to stay put for the time. However all around him know that it will only take one felling of distress from Endor, that will make Eliwood return to the moon, his home, and finish the salvation that he began.

Personality:
Eilwood is a fun loving Ewok who thinks that rest and relaxation are just as important as training. However he is not lazy, being one of the first Ewok to become a Jedi knight, he fells that he represents his people in the Universe, and if he fails to do something, he fells like he let his whole race down. He enjoys using sarcasm in his speech for no real reason he just doses. He would rather negotiate than fight, but he has had to fight on many ocations. Even though he is still not that great with technology, he is an great tactician. His motto is ?If there is a simpler way, take it.?

Other:
I can?t think of any thing right now but I?ll edit again if I think of any thing.

Final Question
Personally I was a little confused on the light saber style thing :animeswea , so I may have done it wrong, but other than that I thin that it is a great way to make characters for RPs.

At 5'6", Dorian is very small of stature.

Biography:
Dorian was born on the planet of Naboo to a family of traders. He had no knowledge of his force abilities, but he could always tell that he was different from the other kids. When he was four years old, a Jedi knight approached his home, apparently sensing the force in the young child.

Young Dorian had been spoiled in his first four years of life, resulting in an arrogant nature. His training in the Force was very successful as well, only fueling the fire of of his pride. He was more adept at using the Force than many of his his fellow Padawans, and he made sure they knew it.

His arrogance would last until he was twelve years old, and the other students began surpassing him in combat training. He was falling behind, and he knew it. This was a much needed humbling experience, and his arrogance subsided.

Dorian was not a very well liked Padawan. His attitude almost ensured that. It wasn't until his thirteenth year that he made a true friend,a young Twi'lek by the name of Aaylita Segunda, 12. The two were nearly inseparable until a terrible incident in Dorian's life that he would not soon forget.

Aaylita and Dorian were training together in the academy on Yavin 4 when suddenly a Sith warrior advanced upon them. His crimson lightsaber raised, he readied an assault. Aaylita,an adept at use of the lightsaber, launched the first attack. The blades clashed, back and forth, again and again. It looked like this might be an even match.

A fierce grin appeared on the Sith's face. He had only been toying with Aaylita!
With a quick turn, the Sith dodged Aaylita's blow and issued one of his own, one that severed her head from her body.

Dorian's heart stopped for a moment, a mixture of fear and hatred filling to near breaking point. He focused as hard as he could, unleahing a Force Push so powerful that it sent the Sith flying, crashing through a wall. Before the dark one had time to retaliate, Jacen led the young Padawan to the lower recesses of the Academy, waiting, hoping against hope that reinforcements would soon arrive...

Personality:
Dorian is what you might consider a bit of a showoff. He thinks that flashy is the way to go, hence his style with a lightsaber and his class. He has a playful nature, but don't let that fool you. He is a warrior of extreme focus and determination. Since a horrifying incident, however, Dorian has begun to retreat within himself.

It is rare for a Jedi to wield a lightsaber they did not build. The lightsaber is the ultimate expression of self, being crafted entirely by a Jedi to their own standards and designs. However there are instances where a lightsaber created by another will have a greater connection with the user, most times this occurs when a Master gives a lightsaber to a Padawan, but there are other occasions when this is not the case. Doran?s lightsaber is one of these cases, found with him on Ilum by the Echani Jedi Master Wo?diin it was given to him upon reaching the rank of Master. An unusual lightsaber to look at, apart from the activation switch it lacks many of the extra control knobs seen frequently on other lightsabers.

The outer-casing of the lightsaber is platinum in colour with ornate 3mm linear grooves cut into the casing, the metal composing the casing is a rare quadrinium alloy giving it superior strength but also a relatively light weight. The blade of the lightsaber is the same ?Adegan Blue? commonly seen among the lightsabers of the pre-Empire Jedi Order. Doran?s lightsaber retains the overall dimensions of a lightsaber suiting a human his size, the handle is 32 centimetres with the lightsaber blade being roughly a metre in length.

Fairly tall for a human, Doran stands just over 1.85 meters [6?1?] in height and weighs somewhere in the region of 75 kilograms. He is athletically built but also broad due to his physical height, making him not only naturally strong but also agile. He dons the typical robes of a Jedi Master much like those worn by Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, though the outer robes are a chestnut brown as opposed to white, though the innermost robes remain white along with these he wears the customary large brown cloak at most times.

Biography:
"So tell me a little about yourself Doran..." He pondered the question for a moment, it was a question he seldom heard, but Master Skywalker had been kind enough to tell Doran a lot about himself so it was only fair he respond in kind.

"I was born, or rather found on the planet Ilum just over 32 years ago, where I was born and who my parents are I don?t know. I don?t know either how I survived on Ilum. At just a few months old I would have been unable to take care of myself, so either I was left by my parents with some form of care, or my parents were there on Ilum with my and were not around when Master Wo'diin found me.? ?You were found by a Jedi with the same name as you ?? Luke was puzzled by Doran?s last statement, but Doran?s expression soon turned to a kind of half smile before he answered. ?No, Wo'diin is probably not my actual last, like so much of my past I don?t know what it is, when I was old enough to choose a last name I took Wo'diin because it seemed to most fitting. However I will continue my story.?

?I was little over 6 months old when I was brought to the Academy here on Dantooine, Master Wo'diin was one of the original Masters, and had gone to Ilum to search for lightsaber crystals. I was tested for Force potency and placed in one of the youngling clans instructed by Master Zarael, a Jawa, Zarael himself was both an eccentric but very cheery Jedi, I recall several times when he bring us outside to the gardens and allow us to enjoy them, to feel the ?living Force? as he described it. Growing up in a clan makes things easier on a child, you get to form bonds with others that make the Jedi like a family...? Doran paused again, sighing before continuing with his story. ?At first my command of the Force was not something to behold, there were many in the clan who possessed far greater control than I did, and that troubled me. But Master Zarael told me not to be worried, that being able to employ the Force was only part of being a Jedi, a large part, but a part nonetheless, when I began training with a lightsaber I saw exactly what he meant.

At five we started instruction with training lightsabers, Zarael himself was a Jedi Watchman so he was able to judge both combat potential and Force potency. When I felt the lightsaber in my hands for the first time it was a strange feeling, I?m not sure if I can put it into words but it was like I felt complete, like the lightsaber was a part of me. Shi-Cho has always to me represented the first step in a Jedi?s quest to attune himself to his lightsaber, in the beginning we merely trained with remotes, I still hold the record for fastest deflection time. By eleven when we were training in Level Two we began to pair off and train, the combat orients like myself would often stick to duelling among one another, it isn?t until later that the Force adepts can channel their powers into combat. For some a lightsaber represents only a weapon, a way to defeat an opponent with power, a true Jedi sees a lightsaber as a way to focus and meditate on the Force, to grow closer to it.

At twelve I build my first lightsaber, or at least I began construction of my first lightsaber. The main components are supplied, all except the crystal, to get it you have to brave the caves and defeat the Kinrath spiders. Master Wo?diin accompanied me into the caves, younglings have to be accompanied by a Jedi, a particularly vicious Kinrath could pose a significant threat, but most of the time they?re just there for observation. I had my training lightsaber, which was enough to stun them, but once I got to the central cave Master Wo?diin stopped me from picking a crystal. Instead he gave me a blue crystal he said he?d found with me on Ilum, I remember holding the crystal in my hand and feeling a warm sensation as though I was holding something preciously familiar. I asked Wo?diin if he had found any trace of my parents when he had been on Ilum but he told me he hadn?t.

I had already all the lightsaber built, and when I got back I finished it, that snap-hiss followed by the hum is still one of my fondest memories. I based my first lightsaber design off Master Wo?diin?s lightsaber, although on a smaller scale, some lightsabers have all sorts of controls for blade width and length but my Master?s lightsaber had only the activation switch, it was simple and yet supremely elegant, and the polished silver casing was always something I found pleasing to look at. Building a lightsaber is one of the final tests a learner goes through, after that you take some final tests on your knowledge of the code and history of the Jedi and then it?s on to being selected as a Padawan Learner. ?

?I assume Master Wo?diin chose you as his Padawan,? Even though Luke was in his early fifties he had done most of his own training, Doran had both respect and a sense of wariness for it, strictly adhering to the training they had been given was one of the pillars to which they could stay the path and resist the Dark Side. When Luke had first come before the Council his black clothing was something that troubled them greatly, as was his heritage. Doran though it better to continue rather than focus on such concerns. ?Not at first, Wo?diin brought me out to the gardens, I usually went there to meditate, and practice my lightsaber form, I have a special connection to the garden and he knew it. For a while I wanted to become the Gardener, rather than a Padawan Learner.? Luke?s eyes arched back before a smile appeared on his face, Doran was a member of the Council, and it seemed odd that he would want to tend the gardens, but it hit then him that everything to Doran a way to commune with the Force, the gardens were probably one of the most Force-imbued places in all the academy.

?Eventually I chose to become his apprentice, and I spent the next seven years training to become the best Jedi I could possibly be. Master Wo?diin aside from being a Jedi Weapon Master was also Echani, and had been the foremost Juyo master even before the Empire was founded. At first I found Juyo to be very demanding, the emotion it requires can often lead to the temptations of the Dark Side, as well as that it requires an intense attunement to the Force. Given time and guidance from Master Wo?diin I found that the secret to Juyo is not to draw on strong emotion, but to draw on serene emotion, he once stated that Juyo in combat is a hurricane and the Jedi is the calm at it?s centre. Because the Jedi do not leave the Academy it is difficult to gain experience in the real sense of the galaxy, simulations can do only so much.

At nineteen I faced the Trials of becoming a Jedi Knight after which I went before the Council, Wo?diin included and was given the rank of a full Jedi Knight. After that I had the choice of either taking a Padawan of my own or studying for a number of years to focus and gain a better understanding of all I had learned. I chose the latter, mainly because I had my eye already on a youngling who was not old enough to become a Padawan learner, for a year I worked as the Academy Gardener, working to gain a greater comprehension of the Force, I was barely a Jedi and wanted to be able to instruct my Padawan as well I could. A year later I took Jodo Kavor as my Padawan Learner, his skill with a lightsaber was most apparent, but I was wary that his skill lacked discipline and that teaching him the Juyo form would lead to difficulties.

Eventually I relented and began his instruction, his enthusiasm however as I feared was also lined with competitiveness and desire, I often wondered if in the hands of a Consular or a Sentinel would he have been better off. We sparred regularly, as it gave me insight into the boy, and the further I gained insight into him, the more cautious I became in teaching him Juyo. His lightsaber was based on my own, which I hadn't changed from when I first built it, so I felt that I was duelling against perhaps a younger version of myself. I cared for Jodo as though he was my little brother, attachment between Master and Apprentice is common, and the bond that develops is as strong as family and blood. At 23 I was called into the Medical Bay, I remembered Jodo complaining he had been ill which is why I had excused him from lessons. When I saw the mark on his side I did not understand how it had occurred, but when the Council explained to me the nature of such a mark and it's implications I decided not to tell Jodo.

I thought that I would be able to help him overcome such a desire for home and family, though my own lack of experience in such matters may have either helped or hindered in my endeavour. Thankfully such an incident never happened again, Jodo's odd brushes with arrogance were few and far between, and mild in nature, I admired his competitive streak and felt that he would certainly go on to be a great Jedi Knight. In his later years between sixteen and nineteen I tried to impart to him as much wisdom as I could, and I think I was successful, where as when he was younger he could be somewhat rash he began to think more clearly before he acted. In the end the Council decided that he was ready for the Trials and I agreed.

After the Trials we parted as Master and Apprentice, I returned to work as the Academy?s Gardner and Jodo began to learn from different Masters, adding to what I had taught him.? ?You sound very proud of Jodo? Luke?s response gave off that he knew the feeling of having a successful student. ?Yes, I am.? Doran smiled moving on. ?I spent two years working in the Academy Gardens, though both Wo?diin and Zarael wanted to see me take on another Padawan I decided to take a break for a few years, to learn more that I could put to use. Working in the Gardens gave me first hand experience to feel the Force in other life forms, to be able to feel the Force grow in another living thing in a remarkable feeling.? ?So what made you go from Gardener to Council Member ?? The question brought back Doran to the night he learned that Master Wo?diin was dying, at nearly one-hundred years old it was simply his age was the cause.

?Three years ago I learned that Master Wo?diin was dying, he wasn?t ill but at nearly a hundred he had lived a long life. He had specifically asked to see me alone the night he died, he told me that he wanted me to take his place on the Council, that it would be beneficial, like I was being given a larger Garden to tend. I recall watching him take his last breath before he seemed to become semi-visible and then disappear, the other Council Members came in and asked me if I would take his place on the Council. At the time I wasn?t sure if I was ready, at 29 I?d have been the youngest Jedi Master ever, but Wo?diin had asked me to take his place on the Council so I agreed. Before ascending to the rank of Jedi Master, Zarael gave me a lightsaber I had never seen before, he told me that Wo?diin had found it on Ilum with me but that he had felt that it was something I should get when I was older. The lightsaber was very much like his in style, but it was far more intricate in design.

I took the lightsaber, and like the crystal when I was younger it felt familiar, I found it lacked a focusing crystal, though if it was truly mine then there was an obvious reason for it. Removing the crystal from my old lightsaber I transferred it into the new one, the hum as I turned it on was higher pitched, and with it I heard something, a woman?s voice, the voice I believe was my mother?s.? He looked away for a moment, what he had not said was that the voice was actually a woman singing, a lullaby he can only assume was being sung to him, Luke picked up at this and placed his hand on Doran?s shoulder, looking back he coughed before finishing off the story. ?I joined the Jedi Council, although the Council itself was merely a collection of Masters rather than the body it had been. As a Master I finally had access to the third level of Juyo, which was reputed to be the most difficult and yet powerful form of all lightsaber styles. I was also given the option of training my own clan, because the Dantooine Academy had now been active for nearly fifty years we had need of more Masters to train the newer clans, and because I had chosen not to take on a new Padawan it seemed an obvious choice.

After that there?s little really to tell, I?ve been a Jedi Master for the last three years, my clan is called the Wolf Clan and until you showed up with Kyp and Kyle it was all pretty routine. Since you?ve turned up and your Order has stayed with us I?ve noticed several Knights and Padawan, and some Masters have expressed an interest in returning to our old role with a more active position in Galactic Affairs, whether we are ready or not to do that I don?t know.? ?Do you think your Order would have been better off if we?d never arrived ?? Luke?s question caught Doran off-guard, ?No, eventually we would have had to return to the galaxy, now is as good a time as any, and if the Sith have returned then we must be ready to fight them.?

Personality:
Despite his large size, Doran radiates a calm and contented aura about him, this combined with his relative youth makes him a more approachable member of the Council than many others. Often found meditating in the gardens, which he spent years tending he is more than willing to give advice and help to those who wander his way. Compassionate, witty and kindly, he has developed a personality quite similar to that of Master Zarael and has been referred to in the past as Big Zarael by more than one Youngling. However as well as being good humoured and kind, Doran is internally very focussed and quite serious when it is required of him, the mandate of the Jedi enclave on Dantooine is to restore the Jedi to their former glory, and it is a mission he will see through to completion. This new threat of the Sith also weighs heavily on his mind, and the mind of all the Jedi Masters on the Council.

Race: Jawa

Homeworld: Tantooine

Affiliate Order: Old Jedi Order [Though controversial.]

Rank: Jedi Padawan

Class: Padawan Peacekeeper

Lightsabre: As mentioned previously, the most common of instances where one recieves a lightsabre is through Master to 'pupil', or through creation. However, this little Jawa was 'given' his on that fateful encounter where he escaped with the help of that mysterious Jedi.

The hilt of the lightsabre is divided into two halves - one being a metallic black, and the other a bright white. The black side has a white spot located near the handguard of the weapon, and the white has a black spot to match, but much nearer the other end of the hilt. It was told that this maintains a good sense of balance in the world, where "Darker elements are necessary for lighter elements to shine." It is a mystery how the hilt was coloured so well, especially on a durataniam metal. Apart from this, it shares the normal characterstics expected of the hilt of a lightsabre.

The actual blade on the other hand shines a brilliant-white when activated, so bright that the little Jawa has to keep it away from his face.

Lightsabre Style: Ataru [Level 1] "Hey, you remind of me Yoda..."

Force Powers:

Force Aura

Force Direction

Force Jump

Throw Lightsabre

Appearance: - This is the typical appearance of a Jawa. If you notice, this one on the left is looking very curious similar to how this little Jawa seems quite often. However, despite the lack of camouflage in the deserts, he wears a black robe and hood, and his eyes are much more piercing.

Underneath this though, the Jawas being secretive people, Xeh' can sling open the robe to form a cape of some sorts for which his Jedi robes of a black are revealed. The cape is generally kept in colder, harsher climates like that on Hoth.

Biography: [Xeh Bi'dee was born into a family of established 'merchants' on Tantooine. They were better known as hustlers seeing as how if you paid a member of the family enough money, they would fill you in with the right information regarding events. And it was from here that his excited family began to make preparations to tutor him in the skills of 'bartering' and scavenging.

And they did so within their little grottos that were built and hidden within the vast and numerous sand dunes of the desert. However, unlike his father, uncles and older cousins, this Jawa became distracted very easily, showing no interest in the seedy habits of his family. This came as a huge shock for never before had a Bi?dee rejected the trade, nor be searching for a ?greater good?, especially at such a young ages.

However, as he grew older, the Jawa had to learn to accept his pre-written life, and step foot into the huge, vast world. It was on one day that he would accompany the male members of his family on a mission to excavate some scrap metal, decorate it, and pass it off as some ?treasured artifact?. They set out to do so, and were successful to this point.

Loading up a number of hover-trailers, the Jawas journeyed into the outskirts of the city where they would set up their stands and begin trading their spare goods to lure potential customers in to notice this ?prized piece?. They always set up here, for not only did it allow a nicer breeze to pass through, but it gave them a bloody good way to get out of there if things began to heat up. And eventually, an old man came along, and fell for the Jawas? ploys, lugging the lump of metal which had the odd symbol shoddily painted on it, home. Xeh always remembered that he slapped his head at this point for he knew all would not be well.

And so, as the sun painted the sky an orange hue, the Jawas?, after a hard day of bartering and selling, began to pack up their things in order to head home. But this time, things would not be so easy, for the old, delicate and fragile man returned, but this time, not looking so delicate and fragile.

Accompanied by two armoured figures behind him, who appeared to be Bounty Hunters, for they held very large blasters and had the suits to match that of a typical career, the old man pointed at the family of little creatures and the figures aimed their weapons.

Fortunately, Jawas can be quite speedy when the time calls, and so they sent their stall flying into the air, Xeh included, and began blurting out gibberish and running around in circles. This gave them enough time to quickly make a run for it into the vast Tantooine deserts. That is, except for Xeh.

Looking up into the black visors of the Bounty Hunters? masks, he began to tremble. However, after what seemed like an eternal stare, the old man bent down, grunted and shooed away his accomplices, only to turn and head home. But in fear, the little Jawa yelled and ran as fast as he could into the ocean of sand that was the desert.

He ran and he ran as if the sands were infinite but his pursuers were catching up until he could not go any longer, and eventually collapsed and blacked out.
--

The next morning, Xeh awoke to the brilliant white sphere of light, blazing down upon him, whilst the sky was a bright, baby-blue. He sat up, looked around, and suddenly, the memories of yesterday?s events flooded into his head. And then, he began to cry. He was alone in the desert, the city walls far off, only to be hidden in the horizon, and he could not return home, for he simply didn?t know where home was. Also, why would he want to? Why the hell did his family abandon him!? He?d never been in trouble before, and if the time came, he would?ve at least expected his family to protect him.

After the little Jawa began to feel as if his water works were running dry, a loud thud was heard causing his head to jolt forward, and he fell unconscious once more.

--

Xeh awoke once again, and in a much cooler location for that matter, but this time, he found he could not move his arms. Looking around he found that he?d been bound to a wooden pole, its splintered surface digging into his back and the ropes irritating his wrists. He also worked out that he was held in the front of a gloomy, sandy cavern with a large, hairy creature resting to the right of it. It turned out to be a Bantha, and this could only mean one thing.

Oh no? the Jawa thought in despair.

And he cried once more, but this burst caused sparks to fly from his stomach, sending him into spasms. The prod disappeared to be replaced by a squatting, horrific creature, its spiky mask allowing large, husky breaths to be heard. It then brought about a wooden staff, its gaffidi, and whacked the little Jawa straight around the head, bringing much more agony than that of the shock. He was being tortured and he had no escape.

Suddenly, the Tusken Raider turned into the cave and let out a terrible holler of what sounded like a melting Wookie. Following this was the scurrying of footsteps as around six more Raiders stepped into the shaded light. But this was not what terrified the Jawa, it was the horrible instruments they carried. Some wielding clubs, the others blades and rifles.

The first stepped aside, allowing the second to draw up its gaffidi and then, voom, it paused in mid air? After a few confused seconds from everyone?s parts, the Raider simply fell into a heap of two gory halves. This only angered them even further causing them all to lurch towards the Jawa.

Voom, voom, zhoom.

Three more suffered similar horrible fates, and then they stepped back, petrified at what they thought the Jawa was capable of. They then retreated off to the left and up a sandy, natural leap as they screamed their horrible sounds.

A hooded, robed man stepped out of the cave, leaving only a grinning mouth to be left open. ?Found ya?.? He said and lifted a hand, magically cutting the Jawas hands loose.

--

The man who saved Xeh never spoke much about himself but made it clear that he was not in exile, just searching. But one day, he asked Xeh a mysterious question, ?Wanna? know how I do the stuff I do??

Despite being friends for weeks now, the two figures who wandered the deserts were split apart as the man went to throw a rock at the Jawa. Barely missing, the Jawa flipped backwards with pure instinct and the man laughed, ?Hey, you remind me of Yoda.? Of course, Xeh had no idea who Yoda was at the time but he never asked questions, it was as if the man answered anything that came into his head.

One night over a camp, the robed man spoke out, ?I suppose you?re wondering why I do the stuff I do. To be honest, I?m rather surprised you stay with me, after all, I?ve attacked you about fourteen times.?

?I?ve got no one else.?

?Nah, I think there?s something more to it than that. You know, you?ve got a gift.?

?A gift??

?That day we met, that chance wasn?t just coincidence. I could sense your calls for help in my mind. You somehow manipulated the Force into something that those sensitive enough would be able to hear it. A wonderful gift, but this can be a dangerous one.? He paused to stare at the mystified Jawa. ?Yeah, I think you?ve got it. I?m going to make you my Padawan. Uh? my apprentice, if you will.?

Of course, the Jawa owed his life to this mysterious man who had a tendency to use odd words, so how could he refuse? And so, day after day, the man put through the Jawa, in the midst of the desert, grueling tasks that were exhausting physically, but most of all mentally. He learnt what the Force was, and how it is used to protect the innocent, but also that it is abused by many powerful, and incredibly dangerous beings. He learnt about the Jedi, their past, members of the Old Jedi Council and the massacre of the Jedi/War with the Sith, all until on one morning, he awoke to the man not to be there. He?d gone without a trace.

Stunned, the Jawa stood up, searching into the distance, he was in a new place. The desert sands had been replaced by grassland, the blazing heat had turned into windy plains. He was no longer in Tantooine.

But he then heard a faint voice in his mind, ?In order for the light to shine through, there needs to be darkness. Don?t forget that those twisted by the Dark side are not necessarily gone for good. I leave my tutoring onto you my little Padawan. There are others who are searching for you, on the planet of Dantooine. Terrible things have occurred and are yet to occur, it is here where your real training begins. Good luck my little Jawa. May the Force be with you.?

--

Using as much of the Force as he could gather so far, Xeh Bi?dee found the Enclave and to this day is still training. Despite meeting new people who he could trust, deep down there was one question he had. Who was he? ]

-- Jedi Padawan, Xeh Bi?dee ? From The Chronicles of the New Generation

Personality: Whilst lacking in size, this Jawa makes up with a much deeper personality, unusual for one of his kind at any rate, for Jawas are renown for their bartering and sales 'skills' when the time comes. If trusting, he will talk of decent amounts if the conversation and timing is right, however, he is often seen walking in the night air on his own, as if deep in thought and seeking something. It's argued that he should not be disturbed for he is merely meditating in his own strange way, but others think that he's just a very sad Jawa.

Contrary to this however, due to his affinity for heat, especially seeing as Tantooine is a desert planet, it is rumoured that he can be full of energy, if not downright eccentric in hotter climates. It wouldn't surprise you if you knew him and saw him bouncing all over the place during battle in a volcano or something like that.

Despite what seems like a permanent pre-occupation, this Jawa is very focused on his duties, and will stay loyal to the end, despite suffering much betrayal in the past. Never a racist, and very open to all beings (though this has often brought him many bad meetings with people), unless of course, they are Sith.

Other: It's been seen on the odd occasion, when the moon is at it's fullest, a clear, white jewel being stared at intently within the palm of the Jawa's hand. It's purpose is unknown to others, but is of great sentimental value to the Jawa.

Final Question: I was actually very appreciative of the vast amounts of information you put in. Of course open sign-ups can be deliberate, but due to the large amount of detail, I suffered no confusion. I just await your message giving me my Master for my biography.

Homeworld:
Correlia

Affiliate Order:
Old Jedi Order

Rank:
Jedi Knight

Class:
Jedi Sentinel

Lightsaber:
Single Lightsaber

Callinda's light saber is an aqua-green color. Not quite blue, but not quite green, either. It really reflects her jack-of-all-trades abilities. The hilt is silver with a bronse pommel-nut and a bronze cross quillions -- much like an archaic sword. It's about the length of a bastard-sword hilt, shorter than most, but perfect for her one-to-two-handed style of fighting. All of the knobs are recessed into the hilt, and arranged where her fingers usually rest. Only the activation switch is obvious. She likes her saber to appear sleek and smooth, like the force as it flows through all life.

Lightsaber Style:
Ataru - Level Two
Lots of acrobatics and leaping

Force Powers:
Improved Heal, Improved Revitalize, Knight Speed,
Force Jump, Improved Battle Meditation, Force Whirlwind,
Advanced Throw Lightsaber

Appearance: See thumbnail at the end. . . yes, I know it's Amanda Tapping as Carter in SG-1, but work with me.

Callinda is human, 5' 7" tall, with short-ish, brown/blonde hair and blue eyes. She weighs approximately 120 lbs. She wears the traditional jedi garb in tans and greens instead of tans and browns. (Except the boots, they're brown.) She prefers lighter-weight fabrics, such as linen and homespuns because they promote freedom of movement, but her dark green cloak is of a waterproof, wool-like material. She never wears the cloak unless she's outdoors -- just too heavy and cumbersome. She's very comfortable in her body and does her best to remain in top physical condition. She's not extrodinarily strong when not being augmented by the force, but she is light, quick, and agile.

Biography:
All Callinda knows is that she is from Correllia. She was given to the Jedi Order at six months of age. She barely remembers a few images of her mother's face, soft and loving. She grew up in the tunnels of Dantooine, and was taken as a Padowan when she was 12 years old. Her master, a Defel named Rin'dr, was kind, but very strict to the traditions of the Jedi Temple. This caused a few rifts between them, but what Padowan doesn't disagree once and a while? Callinda was often right on the border of defiance, wanting to learn things for herselfand trying to understand the readons behind traditions rather than blind faith, but never going that last step too far. Rin'dr felt it was extremely appropriate that the crystal Callinda chose for her saber was not a pure color, but a greenish blue. She felt it reflected Callinda's mish-mash of strengths and weaknesses. Callinda never enjoyed a tight bond with her master because Rin'dr wanted to teach her that relying on attachments was foolish. Wanting that bond, but never truely finding it left the young jedi with an emptiness inside that she is unsure how to fill.

The night she became a Knight is extremely memorable to Callinda, mostly because of the honor bestowed on her, but partly because it was the last time she ever saw Master Rin'dr. Late that night, after the ceremony, her master left in search of more younglings, and never returned. Callinda never felt Rin'dr's loss in the force, but she assumed that was because they were never close.

She has been kept busy with the younglings. She adores children, and always volunteers to work with the youngling groups. Still too unsure of herself at times to have taken a Padowan before now, she has started to believe it might be a wise move forward in her life to find a promising eligible youth soon. Now, with the New Order entering the temple, she wants to study the new-comers force techniques -- trying to find the best of both worlds to teach to the young ones. She's not above snitching a move or two from other styles if they work and are easier for the children to understand. She teaches basic lightsaber drills as well as tumbling and force jumping to those younglings with the talent for it. That was what she was doing, in fact, when Master Skywalker appeared with the remains of his order in tow.

Personality:
She is truely a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none. She is decently good in combat and force-use but there are many who are better than she is in both. She's okay in a pinch as a diplomat, but shouldn't be anyone's first choice. She's never been the top of her class in just about anything, (except tumbling - there she excells) but that really doesn't bother her -- she is who she is. She loves to excercise, both physically and with the force. She is always setting new goals for herself in each -- she doesn't always reach them, but it's the effort that matters, and she will always keep trying. She can be spontaneous and has a sharp sence of humor when appropiate.

Because her master was a defel, which are night creatures, Callinda tends to be a night-owl. She likes the night watches for the contemplantive time it gives her. She does her best to schedule her classes with the younglings in the afternoon, if she can because that is when she is at her best in the daylight hours. She is never surly in the morning, just not the cheeriest.

The one flaw that she has - and to the Old Order, it's a major one - is that she has trouble not forming attachments. From puppies to yearmates, she is in constant need to need someone -- and possibly to be needed in return. She had been warned many times that these feelings could lead to the dark side, but try as she might, she just couldn't ignore them or make them go away. Now the New Jedi Order under the Skywalker Jedi has appeared, and they have no qualms about the whole love and attachment idea -- as long as it serves all in the relationship in a positive way. This has really sent Callinda spinning. All this time her order has brow-beat her with one idea, while another order has been doing the exact opposite and been very successful. She just doesn't know what to think anymore, so she's walking softly between the two belief systems till she makes her own mind up. She's fairly new to her Knight status, and is trying to have a more open mind than some of her elders that might be more entrenched in their traditions.

Other: I haven't played any of the games, but I have read all the books. Does that help?

Final Question
Loved it! I knew exactly what info you were looking for. It helped me more than I can say. Thanks!

Name:

Namagor Taratio

Age:

21

Gender:

Male

Race:

Human

Homeworld:

Tatooine

Affiliate Order:

Old Jedi Order

Rank:

Jedi Knight

Class:

Jedi Sentinel

Lightsaber:

Nama wields two yellow lightsabers, He has also extended the back end of each a quarter for a larger power supply and as well gives off a greater output (but only lasting the average amount of time) with a greater focus because of additional lenses and mirrors that focus all of the power into a blade with a one inch diameter. The lightsaber Nama wields in his right hand is troublesome and easily knocked out of working order by solid bumps and nudges and then must be hastily repaired in the heat of battle, this is the result of its hasty of it's construction when, as a padawan, his other light saber was taken from him and he had to put together a new one while running from his attacker.

Lightsaber Style:

Ataru: Level 2

Force Powers:

Disable droid, Mind trick, Throw lightsaber, Stasis, Force breach, Force immunity, Force Deflection

Appearance:

Nama is around six feet tall with a medium build. He is light skinned with a light tan. He wears traditional robes that have been unfortunately repeatedly stained with oil from his constant tinkering and burned from his construction attempts and sucesses. His hair is short a mousey colored. He has blue eyes.

Biography:

Found aboard a Jawa sandcrawler by a Jedi Knight searching for a padawan, Nama was a slave repairing anything the Jawas needed. His incredible speed in repairs and his ingenius designs made him important to the Jawas. The process of his release required the trade of this Jedi's starfighter for his release. After a year of training and odd jobs for parts, a new design for a fighter was built and the two escaped the desert planet and travelled to Degaba. Before they could complete the journey however they were intercepted by a small fighter ship and came under attack, this vessel met its end from Nama's ship's enormous lightsaber mounted to the underside of the ship, but not until the Jedi trainer met his end by a blaster bolt sent directly into the cockpit. He found refuge aboard a trading vessel and managed to repair his ship by trading some of his possesions. He completed his journey and, after the funeral of the departed Jedi, was given a new master and so his training was completed. On a routine mission to the senate on a bodyguarding mission, once again a fire fight was started in the lobby, his master took on one attacker and defeated him, but not until he was hit by a poisonous dart that brought his demise. Nama was now fleeing his opponent whom had managed to take hid lightsaber from him. He managed to complete a crude and troublesome alternate that brought his attacker down.
When a master was sent to assess the situation, he found Nama's defence perimiters he had set up to be quite satisfactory, and so he was bestowed with the rank of Jedi Knight, which brings us to modern day where he can be found in his private hanger upgrading his fighter or repairing droids to maintain the temple or the craft.

Personality:

Quiet and very personal, Nama prefers keeping to himself working on his projects, many think he is afraid that death surrounds him and takes those who manage to get close to him. This is also why many think he has not yet taken a padawan of his own. However despite this closed personality, he is seen at and rituals and ceremonies being held and is quite friendly and happy when working with technology and always willing to teach others some of his expertise.

Other:

Aside from his twin lightsabers that he uses in combat Nama also has in his possesion many, many droids, preferring the astromech variety. As well he has his old starfighter, this is a custom ship from the ground up with a round-nosed, pointed cockpit rested between two pods which extend far forward then at their rears flatten and then bulge around an engine cluster. For atmospheric combat, two pair of foils, one pair at the front, one pair at the back allow stabalization while four vertical foils allow turning capabilities. Though only patches of armor are available, it posseses a powerful sheild generator in its left forward pod, while a large turbolaser cannon is mounted on the other pod. Its final weapon and Nama'a point of pride is its large and intesly focused lightsaber that is mounted under the cockpit and points downward for flyby and swooping slahes. This fighter has been named the "Ship Breaker" for its heavy weaponry.

Final Question
Did you think the way the Sign Up was laid out allowed you to form a unique character more easily or did you find it restrictive, put simply was it good or bad ?

I thought it was good because you could wiggle in it, but it allowed enough restriction to keep people from godmodding.

Zephyra wields an odd-looking lightsaber that sets her apart from the others. It is not one that she has created, but one that was given to her by her surrogate mother who was once a Jedi Knight. Its whole natural state is quite mysterious and somehow, unusual for the definitive parts were from the pre-Empire Jedi Order. Zephyra?s surrogate mother, Taylak, had given it to her when she came of age to become a Jedi.

The single bladed lightsaber as a whole is a puzzle, one that a mere Jedi cannot figure out. The blade of this lightsaber is almost transparent, as if it were created from glass. Zephyra?s lightsaber inhabits a pearl white color that has lines of silver running through them. The hilt of the weapon is a transparent chrome color with eather like exterior. It is light, able to become become as small as the length of her index finger, and even extract spikes that act as a guard or even a device. The hilt possesses most of the control knobs on most light sabers, oddly enough; it does not need an activation switch. The reason for this is that Kaytal has made it so that by a mere thought, the blade will activate and wield to its owner.

The young human stands at the height of 1.6 meters with a build that is between a small build with slight muscle definitions on her arms and legs, Zephyra is, by nature, agile and strong. She has eyes of a storm, black and gray with bits of piercing blue hidden in them. Zephyra wears a black tunic with dark gray trimmings and stormy gray pants with black trimmings underneath a full length black cloak. She is not one for formal wear or clothes that are traditional.

Biography-
Unbeknownst to her, Zephyra was abandoned when she was a baby on the realm of Tatooine. She was well hidden from the Jedi Order as well as troopers who currently patrolled the area. Not many saw her, but those who felt her knew that she was around and could feel a distinct aura about her that made her different. One Jedi Knight had found her from her hidden place and saw at once that she was an orphan.

Though, she remembers not much, Zephyra merely knows that she has lived with the Togruta for all of her years.

Personality-
A quiet girl who rarely speaks only responding to those she feels comfortable with. She is wise beyond her years with a brilliant intelligence and a thirst for knowledge. She may look timid and easily intimidated, but do not be fooled by her appearance for appearance is only skin deep. She is fierce, valiant, and courageous in battle and in life. She is one that takes time to reflect on many things, though she does not let it cloud her judgement. Somehow, she seems to hide who she truly is from everyone, even herself.

Other-
She carries around her neck a silver chain that holds a clear orb that somehow imitates the weather and Zephyra's mood. She also carries with her a ring created from a Yuuzhang Vong priestess who had become an outcast during the Pre-empire Jedis order.

Final Question-
It was neither good nor bad, just a mere way of putting down some rules.

Update: May 30th

Just as a heads up people I'll be making my final selection for the RPG on Thursday evening, after which the sign ups will be closed. I will also have a kind of substitute list made up, so that if someone on the main list can't participate I won't be going through the whole list again. If you have any revisions you feel would be beneficial I suggest you make them soon.

I'd also like to say how pleased I've been with most of the sign ups so far, you're making my job of picking the final group much tougher.

Although the hilt of Yaru?s single blade lightsaber is only half the size of a regular one, the bright kelly green blade is the same length as any regular lightsaber. The hilt of the saber is a bright silver.
Yaru was given this lightsaber by her master, Doran Wo'dinn, who made it specially for her small size and three fingered grip. He even had an inscription (symbol) made on the extended piece of silver that means "Pure heart".

Lightsaber Style:

Ataru ? Level 1

Force Powers:

-Force barrier
-Burst of speed
-Force jump
-Force push
-Force direction
-Throw Lightsaber

Appearance:

Like the rest of her species, Yaru?s stands roughly at 2 feet (24 inches) and has a darker green skin tone then most of her kind. Because of her light weight, Yaru?s foot steps are very soft and she is able to sneak up on people very easily. Yaru wears no shoes because the rough soul on her feet acts like a shoe. She has deep brown eyes and her hair is chocolate brown. Her bangs come over her large forehead (not making it look so big) and in the back it comes slightly past her shoulders where she usually keeps it tied back.

She wears a dark brown tunic with the same colored pants and a forest green sash belt is wrapped around her waist that holds her lightsaber. Her jedi robe that she wears over this is a creamy tan color and the hood has holes in it so she can poke her ears through.

Although she is small, Yaru is still physically strong like the bigger jedi. Maybe on a slightly smaller scale, but she isn't a wet noodle either. A big part of her training is building her muscles so she can hold her own with a lightsaber.
On Yaru?s back there is a scar that runs from the bottom of her neck to the middle section of her back, that appeared after a terrible accendent when she was 10.

Biography:

Yaru has no idea where she came from or who her parents are, or were. When Yaru was about a year old she was found above the Dantooine Academy by a young padawan who had snuck out for some fresh air. The jedi at the academy were very surprised that her species still existed. Yoda was the last known being of her race and even he believed he was the last one. The council tested the new arrival and soon discovered that the force was present in the child. So it was how Yaru became a student at the Dantooine Academy.

As a youngling Yaru was a big handful and was constantly wondering off and hiding in small spaces all around the academy. She once managed to hide away for five hours before a jedi master found her hidden away in his closet. After many punishments and finger shakes, Yaru finally got the picture that running away from the group was a bad thing. Even though she didn't run off as much, she still managed to get herself into trouble with out even trying.

When Yaru finally reached the age when training started she realized how being a jedi wasn?t like a fun game that you could quit one day and then go back to it the next. There were no breaks if you wished to go through jedi training. If you ever quit the order, there was no coming back? No second chances? No do overs. Unlike most of the younglings in her age group, Yaru quickly understood the jedi principals and what it was all about. Yaru had known that jedi helped people, but there was much much more. The first thing a jedi did was serve the force, the power that surrounds every thing in the galaxy, the power of life. One of their first lessons was to actually feel the force. When doing this, Yaru of course felt the coldness of the dark side present in the force. This was the side created from anger, suffering, hate, greed, and other things. To be a jedi you could not have these emotions, fore they would lead you to the dark side. Although she was very little, Yaru decided on that first day of training that she would give her life to the force and serve it until she died.

Yaru decided on her own to train to be a mediator, a jedi that uses fighting and force equally instead of just focusing on one. Big Zarael, Jedi council member that all younglings knew well asked her why she wanted to train as a mediator. Her reply was simple. She wanted to have some sort of advantage no matter who she was ever up against. If she went against a fighter with low skills in the force, then her skills in the force could be used as an advantage. If she was against a strong force user with weak abilities with a lightsaber, she could mainly focus with her lightsaber skills. The wise master just smiled and told her it was harder to do than to say.

When Yaru was about ten something happened that changed her forever. Her and another student were having a training session in a large room with large pillars here and there. The lights were off because the exersize was to help increase your awareness of the force and not need to depend so much on your eyes fore they can trick you in battle. Yaru had the upper hand at the moment and leaped at her opponant hoping to make the final strike when the room suddenly collapsed.
The jedi master watching them reacted quickly and used the force to pull them away from the falling rubble and to the hallway just outside the room. The student Yaru was up against made it, but Yaru was stopped short by a pillar that crashed over and blocked the exit.

It was her small size that saved her, she was able to take cover under neath a fallen piller that had a small gap beneath it, but not before a sharp piece of metal sliced into Yaru's back causing her to nearly bleed to death. They barely recovered her from the wreckage and she spent a good week or so in the infirmery.
The Jedi masters discovered that a heavy rain from the night before had caused to much strain on the middle pillar and it crumbled beneath the weight.
After the accedent Yaru is always a little nervous when she walks into that same room that they repared and does worry about being under ground, what if the whole academy collapsed. She keeps this fear burried away because fear can lead a jedi to the dark side. The scar on her back sometimes hurts, though she doesn't know why.

As Yaru continued to train in the academy she became one of the top students in her age group, yet, for some reason she could not seem to interest any of the Jedi knights or masters in taking her in as their apprentice. Yaru?s biggest complication as being a jedi was patience. Waiting to become a padawan learner required a lot of patience and challenged Yaru?s abilities.

(I have a lot more to type, but I would have to know who my "master'' is to do so)

Personality:

Although Yaru is very tiny, she has a big personality with an even bigger heart. Even during the most wearing training sessions you can always see a smile on her small face and a glowing in her eyes. Yaru is in some ways different from the other jedi who are usually very calm and have a peaceful personality. Yaru on the other hand is very carefree and always seems to be excited about something. She sometimes has trouble during meditation because she has the urge to get up and move, instead of sitting so still. She speaks her mind unless she knows it could mean trouble. She also likes to have her alone time like most jedi. She usually retreats to room that is filled with waterfalls and a stream. Most jedi come here for meditation or just to get away from the busy academy.
Yaru is also good with younglings and story telling. Sometimes when she is meditating younglings will come and beg for a story. Most of them are made up, but some of them are true tales of the jedi knights and masters who lived before the sith took over. What she loves most about the younglings is watching them grow from a silly todler to a mature and respected padawan of the academy.
Yaru never gets angry and gets along very well with others, which she finds to be her greatest gift of all and always seems to be in a good mood, though the loss of a jedi does make her more quiet.
Though Yaru is laid back than most, she does have her serious side that breaks in when she knows she is needed by others. She understands the seriousness of what is happening and plans on doing all she can to make it better.

Other:

Many jedi believe that Yaru is somehow a distant relative of Yoda. Most saying that she is his great great great great great great great great great great great great great great niece or something like that.
Yaru believes that the Whill are not completely gone, she believes they are somewhere out there in the galaxy still hiding from the war.

Final Question:

I understood everything perfectly.

Appearance: Here

Biography: A female Squib goes into labor and dies, leaving a crying father and son in the world alone. This is the start of young Khi?dhan?s life. As the son of a barterer, he quickly learned the ins and outs of the business world in the Republic. From how to fool a human into buying something they don?t need, to selling black market products, Khi?dhan knows all the tricks.

His life really wasn?t that hard. He was without a mother, but he never knew her, so it wasn?t a huge loss for him. Without his mother, his father has always been a little spacey. He never lets it show, but at night, Khi?dhan could hear him crying.

At the age of five, his dad took him on trip to Yavin IV and there he met Luke. Luke was very welcoming to his father, who had brought some lightsaber components for him. As Khi?dhan explored the temple, he met some of the younger padawans. Most of them were nice to him, and showed him around show of the more interesting parts of the temple. As the day came to a close, Khi;dhan bade farewell to his new friends and headed back to meet his father.

When he reached the family ship, he saw that both Luke and his father were still deep in conversation. When he approached them, they turned and smiled. His father delivered the news that Khi?dhan was to train here at the temple.

Khi?dhan let out a squeek of happiness and rushed off to tell his friends. His stay began with his goodbye to his father. He waved as he entered the atmosphere, and hasn?t forgotten his father who he hasn?t seen in over ten years.

Khi?dhan?s training originally was his downfall due to his natural extra energy. At first, the masters didn?t know what to with him, but Master Skywalker soon settled the problem by having Khi;dhan work more with his lightsaber. His skills matured, and he quickly began picking up the more difficult moves. By 15 he was more than ready to pick up the art of Shien.

His meditation and Force skills were another problem entirely. He could never really concentrate, and got in trouble often because of it. He solved the problem himself by practicing on just sitting still, and finally overcame the roadblock at 10.

When the academy fell under attack from the Sith, Khi?dhan tried to protect and transport as many of the younger padawans as he could to safety underground. He slayed a younger Sith padawan, and watched as his master came out of the shadow with his lightsaber burning bright red.

Khi?dhan formed stance and sent the kids onward, hoping there were no more Sith ahead. As the Sith charged, Khi?dhan raised his lightsaber. The two never met, because Khi?dhan?s master stepped in front of the blade, and sacrificed himself to save the young ones and Khi?dhan.

Khi?dhan grabbed something from his fallen master and rushed down the hall to make sure all the younger ones were OK. He safely hide them in a small room, and stood guard, staying hidden, and only doing anything if they someone came too close.

Master Skywalker found Khi?dhan and the younglings, and immediately sent them above ground for medical assistance. Since that day, Khi?dhan has stuck close to that group of younglings, and doesn?t like to keep them out of his sights for long.

Personality: Khi?dhan is a very aggressive fighter. Due to his naturally produced energy, he tries to let it all flow when he duels or battles with his lightsaber. When he?s not practicing or battling, Khi;dhan tries to stay quite and reserved, holding onto his impules and urges, keeping a straight face.

But he does have a soft side for little children. He tries to make at least an hour everyday to just sit down and talk with the group he protected. To him, they are like the little siblings he never had.

Other: Khi?dhan carries around a brown satchel, which he never opens in public, and has never revealed the contents of.

Final Question: It was strict, but all around not bad.
