What video game you have played for at least 100's of hours?
on the PS2 its:
Final Fantasy X
It has a great story line to the video game. I level up all of my character and try to get all the best armor and weapon.

Disgaea 2: Cursed memory
I was playing through the side story line and try to collect the rare and powerful items. I was also leveling up my character to get their new title. It has a good story line to it and from the first Disgaea you get you meet the old main character.

Final Fantasy XII
Currently playing that game right now. Just leveling up and doing some hunts. i'm also trying to get the final weapon for the gun, and bow. One of the good story line I know so far.

So that the only video game I played so far that reach the 100 hour mark, which mean that the video game was excellent to play.

If you haven't already been told; you gotta clean up your post quality.

Anyway.

100 hours? Try 500 hours.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Easily the game I've put the most time into. It's so enormous, so much to do and see, technically profound, beautiful to gander at. It's got it all.

You can do it all, too. Want to be a thief? By all means; steal away! Want to rush in with your blade drawn, shield high? Charge! The game lets you be exactly what you want to be in a fantasy setting. Easily the best western RPG to me. Nah, rather the best RPG period for me.

Lets see...

Ogre Battle 64
Ive clocked over 300 hours in this game. I have unlocked everything except for Biske so far. I keep playing this game because it's just so darn good. The storyline is STIL engrossing each time I play through it. There are so many options and choices you can make that influence the story. There are SO many different classes. This game is massive by todays standards (not to mention back then). Basically it's epic.

Guild Wars
Over 1000 hours. It's an mmorpgs...cmon now. Of course I have a lot of time put into it. This game unlike other games of the same genre it's not p2p. Which by itself makes it pretty ballsy. Most of these types of games fail...horribly. But this game is good enough to bring in a good diverse crowd of people. I am actually pretty decent. I can make a couple hundred k in a week. I can also do decent pvp work.

It's hard to say with some games, since they don't have in game clocks to keep track of your play time. It's also hard when you've played a game multiple times and you're not sure if it all adds up to 100 or not. There may be more that should be in my list and I just don't know it.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
I've played this game to death. While each time has never lasted me more than maybe a dozen hours, I've beaten it over a dozen times and spent even more time finding tricks and glitches and stuff. I know it like the back of my hand now.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
I'm pretty sure I've wracked up more than 100 hours on this game over a few times through it, especially if you count Master Quest too. Heck, hunting down all hundred Gold Skulltulas took hours in itself, though I've only done that once in OoT and once more in Master Quest.

Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee
Both of these games have a few hundred hours clocked on them. Melee is over 500 hours by itself. I just never get tired of these two and always find myself coming back to them. Brawl will no doubt be added to this list after it's released and I've owned it for a while.

Super Mario World
I'm not positive about having spent 100 hours with this game but I probably have. It's not especially long, but like with A Link to the Past I've played it over a dozen times and have also spent a long time finding tricks and secrets. It's one of the games I grew up with and still love.

Super Mario 64
Another classic that I've played over and over and never gotten tired of. I always collect all 120 stars when I play it, which takes a while.

Final Fantasy IV, VI, VII, X, Tactics Advance
It's Final Fantasy and I've played all of these but FFX and FFTA multiple times (though FFTA has over 200 hours on my single file), so no surprise here. Though FFIV isn't actually that long compared to the others, and I can usually get through it in 20 hours, it's my favorite and I've played through it a few times.

Pokémon Yellow
It was my first Pokémon game and I was addicted for months. When Stadium came out and I could transfer my best Pokémon to the N64 cartridge I even restarted my file and played through Yellow a second time.

Guild Wars
I don't even consider a character I've created to be well established until I've clocked about 50 hours on them, so that should tell you something right there. In total I have about 3,500 hours of play time and I expect it to pass 4,000 by the time I'm done playing the new expansion that comes out this Friday.

PlanetSide
Probably no one here has heard of this but it's an MMOFPS (yes, FPS, not RPG) from SOE that I played for a long time before getting into Guild Wars. I spent a lot of time getting crazy good at sniping, to the point where I'd be part of a base defense and single-handedly hold off lines of enemy snipers on ridges overlooking the base. But picking off people as they tried to cross bridges was always my favorite thing to do.

Starcraft: Brood War
Ever since I got it, I've been playing this game nonstop.
Final Fantasy Series
Every Final Fantasy game I've played, I've devouted many, many hours too. My favorites are VII, of course, IX, and X.
Diablo II: Lord of Destruction
I was a Diablo II fanboy, I played it for about 3 years non-stop. It was sad...
Tekken 5
Currently, I play Tekken 5 and Tekken 5:DR. I've fought thousands of fights in this game.
Medieval II: Total War
This game truly amazes me, I've been playing it only for 3 months, but there are so many different mods and version out, that one can never get quite bored of the game. (For anyone who plays this game, a variety of mods are available at www.twcenter.net/forums

Not very many, I just don't have the time to sink a lot of hours into games. Still I've got a few that I've done so.

The Legend of Zelda
Mind you I'm talking about all of the games put together. Some I've probably hit a hundred hours by virtue of replaying them, but I've yet to put in that amount of time for Twilight Princess since I've only beaten it once and haven't gone back to it yet.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
I've probably put in close to 250 hours into this one. With all the battle trophies as well as the bonus dungeons and the different endings and the additional levels of difficulty... I'm still not finished with this game. I've gotten through the normal and the hard levels, now I'm working on the final level of difficulty.

Diablo II: Lord of Destruction
It's taken me a while, but between the different classes I've played to the end as well as going through normal and the beating it at the Nightmare level and working on the Hell level, which I have yet to actually beat. I've put in a good amount of time on this. Though I got about halfway through on the Hell level and I haven't gone back to playing it.

I, on the other hand, only beat the game once. And instead concentrated on trading and leveling my character through Baal runs, and making it a PvP worthy character. Duels were the funnest part of the game.

Oh and one other game I've probably put around a hundred hours in. Tales of Symphonia. I've run through that a couple of times to get different endings as well as different final companions. I've beaten the hard level but never got around to completing the mania level. And some of the side quests take quite a bit of time to complete so it's right around a hundred hours total.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced - I've done everything there is to do in this game, gotten all 5 hidden characters, gotten at least one copy of every weapon, and have all 24 characters at level 50. 450 hours.

Starcraft: Brood War - Blizzard has this funny way of making games that can suck hours upon endless hours of your life into them without really having a specific goal to reach. Brood War was one such game. (My favorite custom map was the Raccoon City scenario maps that were really popular for a while...I'm sad that I lost them when I reformatted my PC.)

Diablo II: Lord of Destruction - Quote paragraph. When they reset the ladder, I lost a level 76 Bone Necromancer that just couldn't be stopped. Now I'm making an Auradin that focuses on Zeal and Smite, using 2 copies of the runeword "Dream", one copy of "Dragon", and the Unique Phase Blade "Azurewrath", and of course the Fanaticism aura. So far there is very little that he can't kill, especially since he deals every different kind of damage in the game, so nothing is completely immune to him.

La Pucelle Tactics - As my first Nippon Icchi game, I spent endless hours on the game, first running through it, then running through the game again, this time levelling up Priere to level 500 so she could purify Boss characters, therefore allowing me to have multiple copies of
Eclair
and
Croix
on my team.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness - This is the big one for me. With hands down the most opportunity to be totally, ridiculously busted, I have poured countless days into my file, and am currently on my 7th cycle, with a completely maxed out Divine Majin (By completely, get a load of this: level 9999 with a total level of 180,000 - That's the max transmigration bonus of 200 - , equipped with a level 100 Yoshitsuna and 3 level 100 Super Robo Suits, all using all 13 specialist slots with one of each stat modifier specialist and one of each bonus specialist, all at the highest possible stat bonus) and a maxed-out Space Pirate (similarly decorated), along with 6 level 9999 Surts. Total game time - 967 hours, 46 minutes, 23 seconds. My pride and joy. (What the hell do I need any of this for, anyways?! You only need to be at level 80 or 90 to beat the game!)

Phantom Brave - Another Nippon Icchi game. While I haven't gone very far into the ways to break this game yet, I've still racked up 113 hours in it.

Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories - Ah, Disgaea...so happy when they made a sequel...This is my current work in progress, and while it's nowhere near the level of absurdity that my Disgaea: HoD file is, it's still more than sufficient to one-hit kill almost every enemy in the game (with some notable exceptions in the Dark World). 223 hours.

So, umm...yeah, I have a thing for strategy RPGs. I can stop any time I want, really. Really, I can. (is an addict)

I haven't really committed to many games to play for 100 hours. If I have then it's probably to Final Fantasy 8, and that's because I actually spent time playing that silly, yet addicting triple triad card game.

I called myself trying to complete some, if not, all the side quests, but that card game made me impatient with RPG's for a while. (Still don't want to play RPG's at the moment.) If it wasn't the card game that got on my nerves, it was Ultimecia's (sp?) castle. I had all the GF's, but I got tired of trying to find a certain key or item.

That's about all that I can think of.

Wow. Having diablo and not playing online, now theres something I could never do. But, to each his own.
Well I've never cared for the online side, but I do like getting together with friends and networking for multi-player mode. But for the most part I too play the game on my own. And Diablo II: Lord of Destruction is definately a game that I've put over a hundred hours into. Though like Crystia I have yet to finish the final Hell level. The boss in the desert is annoying enough in normal and Nightmare so I just don't want to be bothered to kill him on the Hell level. lol That thing is more annoying than the final boss.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
I only just recently hit the hundred hours mark with this game and I haven't even finished the final bonus dungeon yet. Though I am close to beating the hard level. Still I can't get to the final 4D level since I still have to earn a couple more battle trophies. Which means I need to play a new game to choose different companions so I'll have different boss combinations in the bonus dungeons, can't get those battle trophies for beating them otherwise. Heh.

Zelda
Though I've easily put in over a hundred hours, I'm not sure if only one game has gotten that much time, but together? I'm quite sure. Each game has been replayed several times. I even just went through Twilight Princess again for the second time. Though I've yet to beat the cave of ordeals.

Lunar Silver Star Story & Lunar 2 Eternal Blue
I've easily put over a hundred hours into each of these games. Both of them are one of my all time favorite games. Both have fun side quests and both have after quests or things you done once you've beaten the game. I usually pull them out to replay again once a year since I still love playing them. ^_^

I totally agree with putting in mega hours on all the Guitar Hero games. Darn Expert setting, curse you! Other than that I would have to say any of the Final Fantasy games. I have this thing where I just don't feel right finishing the game unless I have everyone in the party at Level 99.

The only other games I can think of that would have that many hours of game play would be the Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors games. Sometimes you just need to go out and mindlessly kill a few thousand people for a few hours. Next to that I would have to say my all-time favorite game series, Katamari Damacy. I will just throw that game in and roll up the world to pass the time away.

Oh my, lets see here. I've got quite a few.

Final Fantasy VI, VII, VIII, X, X-2, XII - my extra hours into X and XII were pretty much due to side quest stuff. With X mostly the arena and filling out everyone's sphere grid completely, with XII it was with hunts and esper capturing. VII I have put a lot of hours into just simply letting the game sit there and enjoying it, along with a lot of gold saucer activities, chocobo breeding, and Weapon slaying. Considering i've played through it from beggining to end 14 times I say i've pretty much gotten everything that can be done, done.

Star Ocean: Til The End Of Time - Anyone who has played this game thoroughly through it's main game course already knows that is near good enough to round up 100 hours in itself. But count in the extra dungeons available after beating the game then it stacks quite a bit more on.

Xenogears - Like SO3, this game's main quest is quite on the lengthy side. Of course this is a good thing. Considering the amount of times i've played through it and all the flying around and exploration i did, i have definitely clocked up more than 100 hours.

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne - Spent plenty of time breeding demons and filling up my compendium on this one, along with trying to get all the different endings.

Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion - This one is pretty obvious for anyone that has played it. I've only had it for about a month now but already have well over 100 hours on it. A lot more to come as well :).

Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, 3 - I love these games, the best non-RPG series ever created. Especially 3. Have easily played through each of these games enough times to breach the 100 mark.

Resident Evil 4 - Multiple times playing through mixed with the Mercenaries mini-game. Krauser rules with his bow of mighty doom.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms X / Dynasty Warriors 5 / Samurai Warriors 2 Empires - I love these games, even if the majority of people don't seem to have the patience for them. I love the time frame, the story itself, the characters, and the possibilities if you would just use your imagination in conjunction with the action.

Perfect Dark and Perfect Dark Zero - Two of the best FPS multiplayer modes EVER.

Super Smash Brothers Melee - Tons of time spent on multiplayer and gathering trophies.

Vanguard Bandits / Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - Decided to group my two favorite SRPGs together. Well well over 100 hours on each of these with multiple run throughs combined.

On with the listing I suppose.

Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion In the same boat as Joe, I've definitely clocked up somewhere in the 400 hours region, if not higher. I suppose the only problem I have is that in the end it just doesn't offer enough replayabliity in terms of the main storyline, and it's just a hell of a lot more fun to go and do the "guild" quests.

KOTOR: Minimum of fifteen characters with an average of sixteen hours of gameplay each, definitely think I've broken the hundred hour mark there. The best Star Wars game ever, if you haven't played it, punch yourself in the face and go out and buy it.

KOTOR 2: Buggy and not as fulfilling as the original game, I've still managed to clock in well over a 150 hours in my Jedi robes. One thing I will say, download plenty of good mods for this one to keep you entertained.

Jade Empire: Excellent RPG, some very amusing characters and a good plot, plus you can become a martial artist of awesome power, which lets face it, is definitely fun.

Fable: Somewhat short, still and excellent game. The only major letdown I can think of aside from the shortness is the fact you can easily become a master of all three attribute areas with millions before you ever start your first real quest.

Age of Empires: Pick one, I've played it to 100 hours and over almost certainly. Great games.

C&C Red Alert 2: Possibly the most awesome RTS game ever, sure it may look old now, but at the time, it was the best game out there. The most fun thing you could do, just have your suicide bombers run around and hearing them say "Bombos Muchachos". Good memories.
Ah... well, because my brothers' insufferable acttions are my own suffering, I will talk also of the games they play too much. Since it's release in February 2002, we have collectively never really stopped playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. It is easily the game that we have clocked the most time into.

now, for the first couple years there was actually a lot of game playing. We've beaten the game quite a few times and played certain missions several thousand times. But, of course, it's never really been about the game. It's always been about the chao garden.

I can tell you... EVERYTHING... about chaos. We've researched them to minute detail. We've breed hundreds of the little buggers. Even though I've never really been into it at all, I was roped into doing most of the resarch as well. It's a thing that often gets forgotten about for months at a time, only to boil to the surface once more and devour two weeks of time from my brothers' lives. It's a sick, sick obsession.

So, recently my brothers were warped into it again. My bro got a chaos chao and declared himself 'done' while my other brother only got jealous and created his own chaos chao and now spends supurfluous time levelling it in spite of complaints all around. Even my bro, who has always considered this one of his 3 favorite games ever and the one that created his Sonic obsession, has officially declared it a crappy game that he doesn't want to see anymore.

...I know he's lying to himself, though, cuz right now he's in there with his stupid friend and our youngest brother playing the first 10 seconds of Iron Gate to get power-ups, going back, giving them to chaos, rinse, repeat, eternalize.

Anyway, numbers 2 and 3 are two extremely excellent games that we only stopped playing over the course of the past year due to complete and total oversaturation. While we did have one of them for a far longer time, the other is a game that we played so increadibly profusely in the time we've had it that it is rediculous.

Phantasy Star Online is the game in question here, and let me tell you why I've come to hate it. You see, my brothers are idiots. Even though we've had characters with which we've reached the final boss of episodde 2, those characters are gone (data corruption - happens a lot with this game) and I cannot possibly tell you the number of characters we've had. There've been those who reached the level 20s or 30s, though most have either been in the teens or single digits by the time we cast them aside. Each of us has had every race and every class and knows how to play like a complete pro with any of them.

I could draw you a map of Forest 1 and 2 right now. Even though I haven't played the game in 6 months, I know it like the back of my hand. So what finally got us to stop playing? Phantasy Star Universe, of course. Okay, PSU isn't multiplayer. But... at that point, the other two can watch the first one play and probably imagine themselves playing alongside them, lol. I, personally, was tired of PSO a while ago, but my bro needed the new game to get him to forget the old. BTW, I almost always play FoNewrl if you're interested.

Next is Super Smash Bros. Melee. Because of the fact that, over the years, we've both had a thousand memory cards and only one memory card for long periods of time, we have had a very substantial amount of files for this game. And, of course, had to unlock every character almost as many times.

I don't know if you know this, but to get Mewtwo alone you are required to have 20 hours of play time. Now imagine that times 11 or so. Yeah. So, I can also tell you how to get just about anything in this game. Why do we not really play it as much now? Well, because my brothers can't beat me. I'm just too good - I play Samus BTW. Not to mention there's only so many characters that are very fun to use, and the game just gets boring the buhmillionth time.

Now, this one is a bit more of a recent vintage, since I've had it since Christmas '04 but I'm still not bored of Halo 2. My brothers and every friend we've had since that time have clocked insane amounts of time into multiplayer (there was even like a month where we played it on Xbox live after getting our 360). I gotta say, it remains my favorite multiplayer game. Unfortuanetally, 90% of our play time is either at Coagulation or Sanctuary. (mostly the former) Coag is the only good map from the original pack IMO. The Multiplayer Map Pack actually has plenty of cool ones, but Sanctuary is the best.

For my brothers, any of the Pokemon games count. They still play all of them. I think that covers most of it.
Almost none actually. I just don't have the time to put that kind of hours into a game. Often I beat it once and then I'm done with it. Still if you include all the games in the series then I've easily put in over one hundred hours into the Zelda games. Some of them I have played more than once, but I rarely finish all the side quests like gathering poe's or gold spiders.

The other game I've actually managed to hit one hundred hours is Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. And that came from doing the bonus dungeons, which I have yet to finish. The time needed to level up, earn money, do weapons and armor customization makes hitting one hundred hours a given. And I haven't even touched the next level of difficulty or unlocked the final 4D level.

I've enjoyed plenty of other games, but none of them hit that mark of 100+ hours.

I have to say that there's probably only a few games I've played for 100 or more hours and then again there are probably a heap that fall around the 80-90 hour mark.

Anyway Final Fantasy XII can't possibly escape since I've probably done 100 hours and I'm still yet to finish the storyline. I haven't even touched the surface when it comes to the sidequests either as I've just spent a lot of that time levelling characters and unlocking licenses.

Final Fantasy X - I'm not sure why I have 100 hours in this game but I've played it through at least 3 times and even though I can't stand some of the characters I keep going back. I put it down to probably being the fact I still have never finished all the bonus quests or defeated all the dark aeons.

Pokemon Diamond - 130 hours and still rising. I was at 100 hours before I finished the main quest and started on the meta-game. I'm now breeding up my first team while finishing of little areas that were unlocked by getting the national-dex. Not to mention playing Ruby again to get pokes onto diamond.

World of Warcraft - ok more like 100 days rather than 100 hours. played this for 2 and a bit years and quit back in May. Sadly enough I may end up going back once the new 10 man instance is released.

Guild Wars - Didn't put nearly as much time into this as I did World of Warcraft as I only played it for a year and then a lot more casually. I got about half way through Factions campaign and then quit because I was behind and all the groups doing the missions were for the bonuses and were very elitist.

Those 5 are probably the most significant though I probably do have a few others but not that I can think of the top of my head. I know games like Star Ocean: Till the end of time, Shadow Hearts: Covenant, Kingdom Hearts, and a few other rpgs are floating high 80 hour marks.
