Adam makes fun of COPPA was a thread created in 2002 in which the founder of theOtaku.com, Adam, poked fun at a correction letter he had received from COPPA regarding a faulty privacy policy on pokecheats.com, a site that had (at the time) been inactive for the better part of two years.

Much of the early discussion in the thread revolved around the bemusement that such a letter and booklet would be sent to the administrator of a dead website. The thread picked up a whole new lease on life, however, when former supermod kuja hijacked the thread for his own anti-OB agenda, regularly re-appearing to send snippets of the thread to his lawyers.
