Hbomb

Harold “Hbomb” Price started coming to Absolute Gameboy when he found out about a contest that awarded the best poster on the forums. He became a regular on the boards, and eventually he won the contest.  Hbomb wrote a couple reviews and later became a moderator. The Gameboy site had been the centerpiece of the AGB network, but there were other affiliates, ranging in subject from Pokemon to Digimon to Zelda to Dragonball Z and for a brief period, wrestling. Then came the big upgrade to theOtaku. New boards. New subsites, including Gundam, Dreamcast, XBox, and Gamecube.  Hbomb eventually became an administrator on the diversified boards. Of course, during this transition period, the focus of theOtaku.com became anime. When he had first gotten involved with the network, he had gotten involved with what was once exclusively a Gameboy site. All of a sudden, Hbomb found himself working for an anime site.  The problem was, he considered himself an avid gamer, but only a casual anime fan.

The myriad of changes the site was going through (and the forums getting, as he believed “out of hand”) led to his abrupt departure from theOtaku.  He now works on Snowflake Studios (http://dmg.keenspace.com ), a subsite of DMG Ice (http://www.dmgice.com

Hbomb has worked on his own webcomic series, entitled “The Hbomb Show.”
