“Justin the Hottie” turned  out to be “Justin the Nottie.” 

Justin, now known as Kam, has been a member of OtakuBoards since 2001.  Initially, he was known as KAMAKAZI.  During the downfall of OtakuBoards Version 2, Justin worked alongside James and kuja to combat the damage being done by Shinji and Gendo.  At the start of OtakuBoards version 4 Justin officially joined the staff.  He would go on to moderate the Introduction forum, Otaku Lounge and the Suggestions forum.  He also served as the Super Moderator over Miscellaneous Otaku.  Justin was well-known for his close friendship with Babygirl; together they collaborated on projects such as Star Wars Our Way.  Also, Justin made famous, the trend of “signing” his posts.

On September 12th, 2002, Justin revealed to the staff, a surprising secret: The life he had told everyone he was living was mostly a lie.  Up to this point, Justin had led everyone to believe that he was 18 years old he had even posted a picture of himself on the boards that made several female OtakuBoards members swoon.  He revealed that he pulled the story of his life  out of the lives of friends, his own experiences, and sometimes, they were completely fabricated.  Justin confessed that he had adopted Christianity and no longer wished to continue the lie.  Of course, everyone understood how tempting the anonymity of the Internet can be and everyone knew that Justin–the real Justin–was a good person so he was easily forgiven.

 To this day Justin’s contributions are appreciated and he is regarded as a quality former staff member.
