1. Hello citizens of the Otakuboards. I come to you today with shocking news. One of the most beloved rock stars and poets of all time soul might be hiding in a small bowl of squash soup in the state of Utah. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/sebpower/Jim.bmp To some, it may be hard to believe these shocking photos. I, however, believe that Jim Morrison is still with us. Judge accordingly.
2. Thank you very much for your effort. As you can see I decided to use Rhians banner and sirens avatar. It always feels so good to get a new avatar and banner, like a fresh change of clothes!
3. Hey could someone make me a banner that has Vincent and jules pointing their guns at anything. No text(not even my name). Much appreciation. :D
4. I honestly believe Dylan is the greatest man to ever inhabit this planet. Okay, maybe not, but he's definatley up there! His music is so soulful and symbolic, and he's always changing. On top of that, he's written some of the greatest songs ever. Anyone else a Dylan fan? If so, what's your favourite album? Mine would have to be either Freewheelin' Bob Dylan or Highway 61 Revisited. Some classics on those two.
5. Ah....Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Probaly the best political commentary to look to in film (Considering Trey is a Republican and Matt is a libreal). In Case you didn't know these two are the creators of South Park (which, politicaly, is a very balanced show). Team America is the new movie from the two, made with marionettes. I'm not good with explinations, so your better of watching the trailer. Question: Does any one know if Moore actually has a voice in the movie?Matt stone was In Columbine and Moore has been known to make fun of himself in the past (The last Academy Awards he was smushed by an elephant). I'm sure Kerry and Bush aren't, but who knows? P.S. Hey people, since I mentioned Moore, how 'bout leaving the guy alone for once?Like, by insulting him your really just giving him the publicity he needs to remain popular, so just answer my question and leave it be.
6. Hey could someone make me a banner that has the Trailer park boys (Julian,Ricky and Bubbles) and my name? that would be awesome. P.S. PM me if you make one please.
7. Trailer Park Boys is without a doubt, the GREATEST television show ever made. It's about these three guys, Julian, Ricky and Bubbles who all live in a trailer park and try to hit it big (usually by growing dope). They always get arested at the end of each season. Anyways, the show is hilarious. It's Canadian and originated on the channel Show Case. I heard It's now on BBC US, in the US, and that it's censored (I don't know how that is possible, they curse in every sentence). You should watch it sometime if you get a chance.
8. I was just on Anime News Network and I found out, they are making an Ah!Megami-sama! (or Ah!My Goddess!) television series. I am really happy about this, because Ah!Megami-Sama! Is one of the first anime I have ever loved and I always hated how short it was. Anyways, does anyone have anything they want to say about the great news, or anything about the original OVA?? So Happy!! :D Edited thread title a little for clarity, heh. -Solo
9. Uh yeah actually. A few years ago my friend offered me a wine gum and I said "No I don't like the taste of wine". Then they laughed at me and told me it tasted nothing like wine. I was really embarresed.
10. Allright, my three are, Pulp Fiction - So many people are saying Kill Bill, but Pulp Fiction blows Kill Bill out of the water. Great acting, great dialouge, great story. Being John Malkovich - I love weird movies and this takes the cake. Actually, I could have put any of Charlie Kaufmans work here (except Human Nature) because they are all awesome. O Brother, Where Art Thou? - I LOVE this movie. It's funny and well acted (acting is a big thing for me) and all around great. Well that's it. Runner ups are Reservoir Dogs, Shrek, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Momento. EDIT: Oh yah, another runner up is Pirates of the Carribean. Just thoght I would mention that. EDIT 2: Wow, 2 edit's in less then 5 minutes. I also have to mention Fight Club and Dogma. That should be all now. ;)
11. Well he is making a new movie. It's a war movie called Inglorious Bastards, and it looks like it's going to be made, but QT has had so many ideas that never came to life it's not even funny. Ex. The prequel to Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs with John Travolta(Vincent Vega) and Michael Madsen(Mr.Blond) as brothers in Las Vegas.
12. I'm watching this anime called Ebichu the House Cleaning Hamster. It's basically about this girl named Office Lady(or OL) and how her hamster trys to help make her happy. Usually, however, the hamster just embareses her all the time and ends up in a pile of blood on the floor. For those who have not seen it, the animation is very cute, but it is not for kids. Basically, OL has sex with her cheating boyfriend every episode, and the show is not shy when it comes to showing skin. So yah, If your up for a bit of adult humor, and your not a member of PETA, check it out. Slightly edited for content. Densuke's right: this is an all-ages forum, don't forget. -Solo
13.
I do dislike SOAD aswell though for some of there music the talk a load of dogs crap which means bugger all.
Not really. In fact most of their songs have meaning. What songs don't have meaning? Anyways, SOAD is my all-time favourite band. I have all 3 of their cd's and am patiently waiting for the 4th. I like how they blend a sort of hardcore sound with a nice mellow sound. If that makes any sence.
14. Chris Farley! Okay, here's one, ___________________________ Reservoir Dogs Pulp Fiction Four Rooms ___________________________ Think about it before you answer.
15. Okay, some people need to calm down. You say Moore's a crazy radical, but you all sound like radicals yourself. First off, I'm liberal, and even I noticed some contradiction in there. Like, he's saying how the government wronged the soldiers by putting them in Iraq. But he also thinks that the soldiers are wronging the Iraqi's by you know killing them. That kinda doesn't make sence. As for the bias factor, however, it was there, but I didn't care. It was pointed out to me many times by people who didn't enjoy the movie and my responce was always How else do you expect him to get his point across? Like, he's actually trying to change the outcome of an election! This was a personal movie he carved out of his own opinions to try and change his country and he couldn't do that by saying "Bush is a bad man, but he does has many qualities! He likes bowling and reading and frolicing in the sun!Falala!" If he had done that not only would the film not get the point across, it would not have been entertainting. And that is what I do respect about Michael Moore. He makes some of the most entertaining (real)documenteries I have seen. Alright, I'm done, start flaming me. P.S. Can someone tell me if I spelt frolicing right?
