  1. Pegasus acted as Ref during the finals. Croquet was supposed to be ref during the last match, but do you really think he was going to call his boss? Besides, most refs can't prove you've used magic to cheat. Everything Pegasus did aside from that was perfectly legal...except maybe plunge the arena into a horribl Shadow Realm. That might have been a foul. Or something.
  2. Witty Phantom, primarily. I'm witty, but can also be quite dark. Or, Red Eyes Black Dragon, because not only is he freaki'n cool to look at, but he has a lot of fusions, which means: he can fit into many different situations, and he has untapped potential. When I'm feeling *really* evil, Im' like Relinquished, because I can manipulate others. But let's not go there...
  3. That's cool. My friends and I have been using modified cassete tape containers.
  4. This is a call-out to the Deck building masters. I'm interested in building a deck similar to Pegasus's, but is it really a good idea to use Toons and Relinquished in the same deck? What kind of cards would that entail? (My theory is that there are a few key cards you keep in a side-deck.) If it needs some mid-level monsters, I'd use Witty Phantom and Kourmi Dragon. (Not 'cuz they're good, but because I like them And the deck's about your personality, right? :D ) If it isn't feasible, what kind of Toon or Relinquish deck could I make with US cards? (I'm willing to wait for soon-to-be-released stuff)
  5. Pegasus was the antagonist, pure and simple. *However*, whether or nott hat makes him 'bad' is up in the air. I personally like him better than several so-called 'good' anime chars, and was orry to see him fall. His deck was full of cartoons. He can't be all evil.
  6. From what I've read on the Net, a lot of players dislike Toons, but I do'nt see why. The thing about Toons is that, like Exodia, newbies can make the mistake of putting them into their deck willy-nilly. If you want to use Toon Monsters, your entire deck *MUST* revolve around it. You either have a Toon deck or you don't. Anything else is a mistake. But to answer your question, *Toon World must be played first * Toons are subject to everuy attack normal monsters are *Toons can't attack the first turn they're summoned *If Toon World is destroyed, all the other Toons are destroyed, but this doesnt' affect your life points. *You must pay LP every time you attack with toons. (See why your deck has to revolve around toons? You a couple of backup monster strategies, but I'd recommend only one. Two would be streaching it.) Toons aren't for everyone, so be warned...
  7. To put it simply, Pegasus rocks. He's an awesome villian. He also has the whole tragic origin thing going for him. (All really good villians have tragic origins.) And he has the Millenium Eye, which, of the Millenium items I've seen, has IMHO, the most practical use. (The puzzle and ring let Yami spirits invade your body. That's creepy.) His deck is also cool, and Relinquished is one of my fave monsters. Too bad he's gone. The series is still going strong in Japan, and I hope he makes a comeback...in a cool eyepatch. :blackeye:
