Mage of Asgard

"Fears are hard to face Maki......... My brother will not be one of them. I am not and will not be intimidated by him. It's the fact of someone thraetening me through my father that troubles me....." his eyes were deep and confusing, he couldn't feel or show any true emotions, fear, sadness, happiness. "Maki, I'll not let them stand in my way. I have issues I know." he smiled "But that's what creates the twists and turns in my life" he tried to stand up and fell down, a failing attempt, again. "Why are you so concerned about this Maki? You really don't even know me. Hell, I don't even kniow me. My past before my father's death was erased. My brother is my number one enemy. And now I have to worry about staying alive against shadows to join a group that won't let me in if I have too many problems. Maki, if I can't ever see you again, which I hope is not where this course of events will take us, I will never forget you"

[I]Damnit. That stupid shadow took the forms of my worst fears, my best friend.... and my father. How did it know that those were my greatest fears. Damn, my arm hurts like hell from that attck he gave.[/I] "AHH!" he let out a sharp yell and held his side "Damn, that hurt. I almost couldn't do it" he looked down and passed out. He was exhausted. He occassionally mumbled things like "Damn them" or "Stupid entrance exam...."

The shadow Loki was about to face took the shape of his father and he staggered back "No! That [b]is[/b] my worst nightmare! My father....." he had a solemn look on his face "But you're not my true father! He's dead!" he called a chant and at the end- "WINGS!!!!" heavenly angel wings drew forth from his back "I may not be able to walk, but I can fly just as well!" he hovered into the air and the shadow changed form again...... this time into Fyre. "Damn, all of the things I can't fight! Or so they think..." he smirked and drew his staff "Heavenly light!!!!" this was different from before, it let out several sparks of bright light and the shadow took true form. "I knew you weren't my Father, or Fyre" he smirked. The shadow jumped up and sliced his side with a blade on his back. "Heh heh heh" he smirked landing as Loki fell to the ground. The shadow moved over smirking. "Don't count me out so easily!" he smirked and hovered up, then drew his blade "Die, shapeshifter!!!!!" he yelled lunging at it, the shadow changing again, this time into a shield like shape. Loki looked at it oddly "You're still a shadow, and shadows hate light!" he yelled and his staff glowed a bright light, then he lunged at. It was in its true form this time, and was sliced in two. "Hmph...." he watched in amazement as the shadow reformed. "How the hell am I supposed to defeat something that reforms!?" he yelled...... "Light... that's it...." he drew his staff and allowed it to emit a bright light "Hmph" he said staggering away, holding his new wound. "I passed Ayuta, where do I go?" he staggered and fell, then sat up, his wound bleading badly. "Ahh..." he said opening his eyes wide "Do you guys have a healer?" he closed his eyes, as if to try and rest, but was a bit baffled watching the others as their shadows were starting to form... "I hope they'll be okay....."

Loki looked up at the path. "Ugh...no more monsters... please?" he smirked, holding onto his staff "I will fight if I have to, but i'll need a lot of rest later. I can't guarantee myself waking up this time though...." he staggered forward a few steps. Maki held him back "No! I won't allow you to fight this time!" He looked a bit puzzled. "Why? If I can't fight, then I'm worthless..." his mouth started bleeding again "Damn... I guess you win Maki....." he said moving back and leaning against a nearby wall, which there were only two since the hallway was narrow, maybe only two or three of them could squeeze through at the same time "I'll take care of healing, should any of you need it" he smiled a bit, then held up his staff "Don't worry about damage!" he said and the staff began to glow and rattle "I've put up a barrier around all of you. Your attacks will work, but you can't be harmed" he smirked, then hit his staff against the ground, activating the spell "You all are good to go" he smiled and knowing that was all he could do, backed away slowly.

OOC: You had to tag me!? Loki was able to move slightly. He pulled himself up against a wall and sat there, upright. His staff shivered and glowed a pink glow. He would punch it for taunting him but he changed his mind since he could still barely move. He saw Ayuta and Bremma in the distance and waved. He looked at the shocked, surprised look on Ayuta's face "What's wrong, Ayuta?" he asked with his eyes shut. "Man my entire body hurts. I don't think I can stand...."

Loki turned his head to the side and coughed. He coughed blood and peered open his eyes slightly, moving his hand up to Maki's face and touching it gently "Your voice has..... so much feeling...... yet I see nothing..... on your face that would ..... *cough*...... hint toward any ......... emotion...." he was barely able to say that, his breath leaving him slowly. Maki's words rang through him and his eyes shot open "Maki...... I won't let him win. I will [b][i]never[/b][/i] let him win, Maki" he said in his normal voice, though he could barely move. He pulled Maki down closer to him and softly kissed her across the lips "Thank you, Maki" he said breaking away softly. He figured that now was no time for heavy flirting. He laid his head back and looked up at the sky. Maki had helped him more than she could have imagined.......

Loki passed out completely. He was breathing maybe once or twice per minute. He felt as if he was floating on water, echoing beneath him. He heard loud booms and noises, but sensed nothing. Was he dead? He felt it. He felt that everything was gone: His life, his love, his staff, his father... and most of all.... [b][i]his hopes[/b][/i]. He was unable to defeat SeeD to avenge his father. He was unable to kill his brother, to avenge his father... or was he? He lay there, eyes closed, passed out almost completely. He could sense things moving, people talking, and various other things around him, though, he couldn't feel himself. His mind ached, he was slipping. Would he survive this? Would he make it to flirt with Maki again? Can he avenge his father's death? OOC: Hellz yeaz. A LOT of drama.

If you don't mind me asking, why? Why did you find those things but still have no meaning. I'd kill to feel true happiness, and I'm sure others would too. Put in a little more detail CatDemon. Look at Conna's. She told everything, so if you could, please do the same.

It treats me bad, no matter how good I treat it, and it treats me great when I don't want or need it to. Many people say that it's a silly reason to not like life, but my family sucks too, and I'm underage to get a name change or leave home. Well, I was just wondering what life meant to everyone else out there. I told you what it meant to me. Please respond. [color=royalblue]The happiest moment in my life, hmm? I would have to say I don't have one, I have two. The first and possibly more important moment was when I met Sana. She is a great girl and I may have feelings for her, although she already has a boyfriend (unfortunately for me). But, she's happy, so I'm okay with that. The second is when I met a great friend who has already posted on this board: Wiccansamurai. And, well, we're married, as you can see in my signature. I call her my Kitsune and she calls me her Hubby. I'm happy around her, or just talkng to her, ya know? I'm wondering if this is truly what makes me happy though...... Loki gave no reply. He lay there, barely breathing "Maki....... stay alive....he'll be back.... soon" he replied with some of his last breaths. He was on the brink of death. "Please.... Maki.... don't die on me......" he said faintly. His time was running out, he knew it, and he had hoped Maki had too, as this may have been the last time he would see her. He turned himself over and smiled at her. "Don't die, okay?" he mumbled

Loki surpirsed took the money back. He was ready to flirt again, now that his stomach was full. He had eaten full up, the food was good too. "Anyone want a show of Fireworks...." he paused sensing something was coming. It was his brother and a new troop of the summon beasts. His dragon, Fyre, couldn't handle all of them. He'd have to use [b][i]it[/b][/i]. He instructed Maki to go back to the hotel and alert Ayuta and Bremma of a SeeD force coming. Not just any force, but the entire Summon Brigade. "So brother..... twice in the same day?" he said stepping outside to confront his brother and about 40 or 50 of the huge beasts. "Will I have to defeat you, or do you feel you will be triumphant, brother?" he asked his brother smirking. ".................." his brother gave no reply and commanded the beasts to destroy the entire area, knowing that he'd flush out the rebels eventually. "[b] HOLY LIGHT!!!!!!!!!![/b]" he yelled and held up his staff. It emitted a bright light and wiped out all of the beasts but maybe 5 or 6. "Still have doubts that I can defeat you, brother?" he asked smirking. His brother was speechless and didn't reply. He commanded the beasts to retreat and he left with them. "The coward....." Loki said collapsing, falling to the ground, his body smoking from the attack. It was the last resort, he knew he needed to use it in order to defeat the opponent. "Maki......." he said under his breath, which he had barely any left. "Ayuta, and Bremma....." he mumbled "Don't die on me....."

OOC: Me and Wiccansamurai were happily married two nights ago!! *smiles* I'm so happy. Now she calls me her Hubby. I think that's cool, isn't it? O well, I like it *shrugs* Love ya!!! *hugs wiccansamurai* IC: Loki pulled out a small sack of gil (I think that was it). "Ya want anything here Maki?" he asked tossing the bag up and down gently, then handing it to her. "Here, this is for some [i]light[/i] shopping" he joked. It was a lot of gil, probably enough to buy out the shop she was standing in. "Enjoy it, okay?" he said warmly smiling at her. He was glad to help people and he didn't think of this as flirting, oddly enough.....

OOC: It's okay Inti.And lright. So i just payed for a room coulda gotten for free!? IC: "So Maki, you don't want to talk with Ayuta? Or you just want m all to yourself?" he asked playfully "Wat do you want to do Maki? And does it involve a bed?" he asked playfully again. Flirting was fun. "Well Maki?" he asked eagerly

Loki got up and slipped his shirt back on, following her to the door. "You still haven't answered my question, Maki" he said in a bit of an upset voice "But I won't pry as long as you keep quiet about my secret, okay?" He liked her a lot. He was probably making it a bit too obvious..... o well "Maki, am i coming on a little strong?" he asked i a curious voice

"Well, umm.... okay." he was touched by her words "You said [b]everyone[/b] was being hurt. Does that mean you are too?" he asked, a bit curious, wanting to hear her response. "And why not that?" he asked grinning and raising a brow. He took off his shirt revealing a blue star in a circle on his chest. "This means I'm a descendant of the original Blue Mages. This is our secret, okay?"

"Since I was 7....." he said looking down. "I don't mind though. My father died that year and left me his staff. That's when I started training to become a Blue Mage so I could defeat the one that killed my father..... my brother. He killed my father and pleaded temporary insanity, then he was appointed as one of the highest ranked SeeD generals......" he said looking down "That's why Fyre and I couldn't lose"

"Well, I wouldn't mind doing soemthing intimate...." he said grinning. "Was that an ear?" he asked a little grossed out "I don't keep my foe's body parts as souvenirs......" he said sipping a cup of tea. "Do you want to do something intimate?" he asked raising a brow. He perked up and sat up straight. "Well?" he asked eagerly.

Loki finished his food almost instantly. Hiss tomach stopped grumbling. "Man, I was hungry!" he joked "I wish there was a horse!" he sat down on the floor "That was good, Maki" he said looking down "Are you sure you don't wanna share a room?" he asked grinning, hoping for her to change her mind. "Please?"

"I didn't think you wanted me to stay with you" he said smiling "I'm hungry. And my stomach keeps grumbling" he said looking down at his stomach. "You got food?" he asked with wide eyes. He had food and Maki on his mind........

Loki put money on the counter, for the two largest rooms "The two biggest rooms please" his stomach grumbled again "And food...." he said looking down. "Okay" he said handing him the room keys. "Here Maki" he said tossing one to her. "It's on me"

His stomach grumbled louder this time. He was following Maki: as if he had a choice...... he blushed really brightly "Where's the inn?" he asked eagerly "I need food" he said pretending to cry "So where are you stayin Maki? If you're free you could stay with me tonight. " he said smirking or grinning, it was hard for even him to tell

He sat down and his stomach grumbled. He blushed emabarassed(sp?). "Any...food?" he asked still blushing. He stood up and started to walk. "Well, i'm gonna look for an inn" he said starting to walk off. "Man, i gotta eat something....."

"Well, this is cool. I recovered an ancient item from the Blue Mage's past of spells. I can work real magic with this" he said smiling with satisfaction. "Now, how to read it....." he said holding his head. "I need some rest, newhere an inn or something that I can sleep and maybe eat in?" he asked Ayuta curiously, drool for food running from his mouth. "I'm hungry......"
