"Yes." Mara replied bluntly. "Oh." Siren said. "You look like a runaway." Mara said, smiling teasingly, "Why don't you come with me to Marion?" "Marion?" "Yes, my home planet. I could employ you, and keep you healthy. It's your decision. My ship leaves in a couple of hours. It's your choice"

OOC: Wow. Great Banner! ^ ^ "So what's going on, Jet?" Fay said as she pulled her ship into gear. "The Red Dragon Clan is trying to get Spike. You know the drill." Jet replied, montonesly. "Yeah, I get the picture." Faye said, pulling out of the dock.

"Aargh! I can't believe the Senator has the nerve to come back!" A woman ranted behind a desk. She stared listlessly through the window, "Send her in." The servant nodded and soon Senator Mara Heartlock walked in.
-
Mara turned the corridor and bumped into the wall. Except, it wasn't a wall. It was a person... --------------------- OOC: Stormwing,in my next post Iwas going to be on Marion and intriduce you, but hey, you found your own opening! I'm so proud. ::sniff::

"Something's wrong." Mara said, gasping. She sat in a dinky hotel room and sighed. She went and grabbed her pistol. "I have to get to Marion." She said with quiet resolve as she walked out of the door.

" Mara, go to the Jedi Council. Naboo is under attack! Go now!" Yes, that's what Lalaith said. Go back and get the council. And she had. Except, the Jedi Temple laid in the ruins of its own glory...

[ You will not be able to see me, you ignorant Jedi. I am in your head. ] "What?" [ It does not matter where I am. Even though it is her fault, I will still watch over her. ] "What's her fault?" Lalaith called out.
-
[ I saved her from men like you. ] "Men like me?" Lalaith exclaimed, "Look what you've done to your own sister!" [ So, you've heard of me. ]
-
" Geno?" Mara exclaimed sitting up, searching for him, "Where are you?" [ Right here. ] "Right here doesn't help very much!" [ But neither did you. ][/] "What are you talking about?" Bitter laughter rang out from all around her. [ That night when I was 'assassainated'. You knew. ] "I didn't!" Mara screamed. [ You did. You knew and you let it happen. I was shot and it was all your fault! ] Mara burst in to tears and covered her ears, hoping she couldn't hear his voice. "I didn't know," she said, curling into a shivering ball, " I didn't know." [ You did. It hurt, Mara. It hurt. Do you want to know what it feels like? ] "No." Mara replied slowly, standing up defiantly. [ Oh, is that so? Too bad...] Waves and waves of pain washed over Mara, consuming her. She crumbled to the floor and started to shiver. Her screams rang throughout the limitless boundaries of her black prison. [ Do you remember now, dear sister? Do you remeber now? ] But Mara didn't answer, for she had blacked out.
-
"Where am I?" Mara asked groggily. [ Did you think I would leave you with those dispecable Jedi? ] "Who are you to judge them? You don't know them!" she exclaimed into the darkness. I may not know them, but I know you... A hooded man stepped forward and laughed. [ ...Sister... ]

Mara shook her head. "I hate it when he does that!" she exclaimed. The driver smiled. "That's good. I'll just take you to my master then." "Wha-" Mara asked, but she blacked out.
-
Mara put her hands over his. "Calm down." she whispered. Lalaith yanked away and sat down next to her. "No."
-
Mara cut in. "A BBBBBBIIIIIIGGGGGGGG.... cheeseburger!" she replied, lifting her food into the air. Chrome just laughed at her quietly. "You're annoying." he said. Mara brought down her cheeseburger and took a huge bite. "Thank you." She said. -------------------------------- OOC: Don't worry about it. So I am I.

OOC: This is getting good...::rubs hands together:: -------------------------------------------------------------------- Mara was sitting quietly by lake, drowining in her thoughts. Her bright hair swung in the breeze, glinting deep auburn in the sun. "Padme's right. It's just a phase." She sighed. But how do you know that? Mara turned around in suprise, eyt no one was there. " Who are you?" The voice laughed manevolently. Who am I? I am your little voice that doubts him " Doubts who?" Don't play stupid. Lalaith. He is not the same. He is angry. He becoming dark. Mara laughed. "Dark? Lalaith? I certainly do not think so." You do not. You think that his will for good is dying, do you not? "I..." Mara jumped up, in cold sweat. She had fallen asleep. She rubbed her eyes and her face's expression changed. "I can't believe it. I doubt his spirit." she whispered to herself. "Mara!" Someone shouted. The senator whipped around to see Lalaith, running towards her. "Palpetine's here," he shouted, " We have to go!"
-
"Oh, is that so?" Padme said, smiling. "What is so funny?" Mara said, her face serious. "Anakin was like that, too. It will get better. Your Lalaith will be alright." Mara stared down at her peeled fruit. "I hope so. I really do."
-
OOC: I'm kinda at the "block" right now. I'll post when the time is right. Play on!
-
Mara looked up from her book. "Let's go get some real food, then." She said, jumping up. James nodded. 'Yeah, I'm sick of all that junk." He replied, trusting his hand towards the refrigerator. Kain smiled and sat down, rubbing his forehead. "Whatever Chrome says." The three turned to Chrome, waiting for an answer.

OOC: We under posted again, Duo! ------------------------------------------------ "Do you need help, Padme?" Mara asked, pulling a seat out from the table. Padme smiled kindly. "Thank you." She said as she plopped down heavily into the chair. Mara took a seat across the table and started peeling a fruit for the other senator. "It seems that you grow larger every day." Mara said, not looking up. Padme's eyes lit up. "Yes, I know!" sh exclaimed excitedly, "Isn't it wonderful?" "I'm jealous of you. You're so happy." Mara replied. Padme's eyes flickered. "And you are not?" "Oh, no! It just seems Lalaith isn't round me as much as he used to be." Padme's head tilted to the right in confusion. "What do you mean?" "Well," Mara began, setting the fruit down, "I'll always love him, but lately, he's been very angry. I can't seem to calm him down and he rarely smiles around me anymore. He says he still loves me, and I believe him, but something inside him is dieing, Padme. I'm afraid it's his passion to do good."
-
"Hi," Mara said genlty, sitting down beside him, " what are you doing? You look shocked. Did something happen?" Mara asked. Lalaith stared at the lake, not even knowing she was there. "Hello?" Mara asked, waving her hand in front of his face. Suddenly, he snapped out of his trance. "Mara!" Lalaith exclaimed, suprised, "Where did you come from?" Mara's face pinched into suspician. "I've been here for the past minute and a half, trying to get you to notice me." she replied, annoyed. Lalaith scratched his head. "Oh."
-
"You don't understand, Setsuna!" Faye pleaded, taking a step forward. "Understand what?" Setsuna asked. "I hate that woman more than anyone I know! I didn't want you guys to shoot her down only because she's Spike's mother. Spike deserves to know!" She exclaimed.Than, a rustle from a corner was heard, and Spike was there and smiled. "Hmm, I actually have a mom."
-
Mara gazed at Obi-Wan apoligetically (sp?) and smiled sadly. "He's disappointed." Obi-Wan said, staring at his hands. "I'm afraid so." Mara replied. Obi-Wan looked up at her in suprise. " You know," Obi-Wan said in a matter-of-fact-tone," I don't think I've ever met a Senator as straight-ford as you." Mara smiled. "I'm not straight-ford. I'm defiant." She said, a glint of benevelonce in her eye. She walked out of the ship calmly and when she left, Obi- Wan stared at his hands yet again. "Two peas in a pod, those two. Both young. Both stupid. And both very defiant."
-
OOC: I'm going to play off your begining, Duo, okay? --------------------------------------------------- Mara nodded, catching on to Lalaith's game. "Yes," she said quietly, slipping her hand into his, "So I've heard." "So, what do you want to do there?" Lalaith asked, giving her hand a squeeze. "See you train." She replied, kissing him lightly on the cheek. Lalaith looked at Obi-Wan defiantly. "So, Obi-Wan, why did you come with us? Obi-Wan's face was plastered with blunt shock. "That's Master Kenobi to you... young padawa..." Lalaith's eyes widned. "Excuse me," he exclaimed, "But your Jedi customs are no longer mine."
-
Mara sighed. "Becoming even more angrier isn't going to get you anywhere. You msut calm down."
-
"But why?" Mara asked quietly, " Why would you destroy a man's future just because he is angry for once? He is a good man. I know it." she whispered. She then walked out of the room and caught up with Lalaith. He was standing at a window, staring listlessly outside. She tood beside him and gently put her hand on his shoulder as a tear slid down her cheek. "I have ruined you."
-
Mara got up slowly and shot all the clones that Lalaith was missing. Soon, the other remaining Jedi joined the fight, and one by one, the clones fell, until their numbers dwindled dangeriously low.
