You have to discard one card from your hand. Gian Germ - When the card is destoyed by an attack, do 500 points of direct damage to your opponents Life Points. Then once it is destoyed, you can take your other Giant Germs and put them on the field. I don't have the exact text for Jiggen Bakudan so I'll have to get back to you on that.^_^
