SS5 Gogeta Posted July 23, 2003 Posted July 23, 2003 Say if you posted a topic and because so many people posted at the same time on different threads that it was moved towards the second page, then can you post one more time then delete the post in order to bring the thread up? It shouldn't be considered double posting since you're deleting the second post.

So even if you did want to break the double-posting rules, it wouldn't work anyway. The best thing to do would be to save the content of the original post and then delete that one, then edit it into a new post to put into the thread. But do bear in mind that some discussions do just finish and can't be continued any more, and trying to do so might get irritating if [i]everyone[/i] wants a decent reply to their topic.
