Have you ever lost a friend over a crush?

I have i lost my bestest friend over a guy. My friend fancied this guy that i liked too and i spoke to him all the time. When my friend started flirting with him i was like hurt but i was thinking if he likes her then fine. however she became so nasty to me and i didn't know what was happening and she started to spread nasty rumours and telling my secrets. when i knew that actually He said he liked me not her. she thought i stole him away from her and now our friendship is like bittersweet. i never went out with the guy though that would even make it more complicated. My other friends sided with her. it was like no way!now i know what friendship really means to them and i only have a few close friends.

Has it ever happened to you?

The closest things to this that ever happened to me was a friend I really hated yelled at me for "Flirting" with her boyfriend. so I'm happy and we're not friends, and one of my guy friends got a crush on me and became really CREEPY. All I can say is try to find some new friends.

Heck no; friends, especially close ones, mean far more than "crushes" and any one who losses a real friend over it is plain stupid. IMO

All it took was some guy to realise how much of a friend your best friend really was. It's quite sad really. Fortunately, this has never happened to me. My friends and I respect eachother enough not to let something like this happen.

All I can say is make some new friends...ones that aren't as petty as the other girls. As for them revealing your secrets to the public...just shrug it off like it's no big deal...and next time, try writing them down in a diary...it's garuanteed not to talk;)
