Grass brown. Leaves gold.
Winds that whisper words untold.
Gravel rock. Dirt and dust.
Find a limb that you can trust.
Read a book. In a tree.
Epic tales in the words you see.
Its this I do, as I write.

When I first saw her, I saw myself.
Love isin't something you can take off a shelf.

I thought of her constantly, soon after that.
Whenever I could, I would stop her and chat.

We shared our dreams, and shared delight.
We shared our wonder, at the stars one night.

Our love was true, then out of the blue...
She dumped me.

A chill that whispers, throughout the house.
A frozen ground is the whispers spouse.
Winter dawns, like light of day.
Fragile saplings, can't hold their sway.
A frozen blanket, hugs tight the earth.
As we warm our hands, beside the hearth.

Wow, I can't believe I'm the first one to comment on the wonderful poems you wrote. *does victory first comment dance* Bwahahahaha. Ahem.
I like the Autumn one the best I think, possibly because it is what I do. Find a tree, climb it, and read. The others are okay, but the Autumn one has become special to my heart. *sighs* J/K The best line in that one is, I think, Epic tales in the words you see. (Heh, it is almost yoda-ish.) Nice word choice and keep it up.
