Charles Posted February 17, 2002 Posted February 17, 2002 You might want to try cleaning the disk before you give up on it. Make sure you either buy a cleaning kit or wipe it gently in circular motions, starting inward and working outward, with a soft piece of cloth. If the disk is scratched badly, then it's probably defective.
