Jaclyn Posted March 2, 2002 Posted March 2, 2002 Is Powerpuff Girls considered 'anime'? I think it could be, and couldn't be... Why it could be: Because it is shown in Japan. It has the same type of kicking, punchin, ect. Big eyes. Japanese cultures are in the show. It used to be on Toonami... Why it might not be: Because its a cartoony cartoon. Sorta childish. So what is your dicision? (sp?) Do you think it is 'anime' or not? :smirk: Oh yea, there is the poll if you don't fell like typing out something.
iggy Posted March 2, 2002 Posted March 2, 2002 if simpsons is considered an anime (which it should) then powerpuff should be too
The Merchant Posted March 2, 2002 Posted March 2, 2002 I think the PP girls is a US Tribute to japanese anime, and so i don´t consider it an anime. The simpsons is defenetly NOT anime
