I haven't watched the show in quite some time. What's happened lately? Just the important turning points and stuff.

I dont think you've missed much. He's still only got 5 badges from Johto and now he wants to enter a competition at the Whirl Islands which will eventually have Ash fight against Misty. They haven't reached that far yet but that's what's happening now.

In weekends they show whirl island episodes.In Weekdays they show Gym Leader episode.

Well, on Saturday they delt with a whole bunch Chinchou.

[color=blue]Yeah, Ash & Co. helped out with the Parade of the Chinchou in Bluefinland, I think it was. They're on their way to Yellowrock Isle. But during the week, they had them back on the mainland helping Morty save Ecruteak from a swarm of angry Bug and Grass Pokémon because Team Rocket stole and broke one of the Crystal Bells from Burned Tower. Luckily, Suicune made an appearance and saved the town.[/color]
