This story is Dragonball AGT, or After Grand Tour. It takes place over 100 years after Goku beat the dragons in GT. Unlike DB/Z/GT, this story's main character is a human. Chapter 1: New Beginnings
Over 100 years ago, Goku, the strongest fighter in the universe, defeated the Dragons and saved the world for one last time. Since then, Earth has been safe from the super-powered villians that used to threaten it's existence. Sadly, many of the Z fighters are dead. In fact, the only ones still alive from that era are Dende (who is still the Earth's Guardian), Mr. Popo (the Guardian's assistant), Kurin (the cat who still lives below Kami's Lookout), and Pan (who as aged a lot and takes care of Goku Jr).
During the last few years Before Goku left, the Z fighters had lost touch of Tien. Tien and Choztou had founded a small martial arts dojo in the middle of a dense jungle. There have been only about 25 students in the last 100 in the dojo due to its isolated location around the area where Piccolo trained Gohan and rigorous training. Since both fighters have passed, some of their students that chose to stay and train continue to keep the place running and teach the few students it has, which are 5 students, one of which is an orphan that the keepers of the dojo found one day in the nearest town about 300 miles away during an annual trip into town.
This student, who they call Nicholas since that was the name the found on a card that was with them, was about 2 years old when they found him crying near an alley. They found him nearly 13 years ago, so he is nearly 15 since they use the day they found him as his birthday. He has blond hair in the same style as Trunk's hair style, blue eyes, and is about 5 foot 9 in tall. He has shown much promise as a fighter. Unlike most students, who are usually older than 20 when they start to train at the dojo, Nicholas has grown up with the dojo's rigorous training and is used to it. He has been training with weighted clothing since he was 10 years old. He was already one of the fastest flyers there and he was quickly gaining mastery over the energy techniques taught to him, like Solar Flare and Tri Beam. His favorite technique, however, came from a very old video clip he saw once from the one TV they have. It showed Goku using a Kamehameha (Goku and Gohan were his favorite fighters). Nicholas liked it so much that he started to practice it, and within 2 months, he finally got it. He is also very knowledgeable in the fights of Goku a century ago, which were passed down from Tien. He is quickly becoming one of the best fighters at the dojo.
One day, Nicholas was training alone in the forest. The keepers went to him to talk.
Nicholas stopped, bowed, and asked, "Masters, what do you want?"
One of them said, "Nicholas, we feel that you have nearly reached your peak as a fighter here at the dojo."
The other said, "Yes. We also feel that you should complete one more task. You need to go out into the jungle and fend for yourself for a year."
Nicholas then said, "You want me to leave the dojo?! You really think I'm ready?"
One of them said, "You are more than ready to go. Plus, After a year, there will be a world martial arts championship where the best fighters in the world will be. It will be a great challenge."
The other keeper then said, "They will be very strong, so you must train hard. All that you can take are clothes to train in. You will leave tomorrow."
Nicholas replied, "Yes master. I will go prepare." They all went back to the dojo.
The next morning, Nicholas was ready to leave. He dressed himself after Goku, wearing an orange gi with a blue weighted undershirt, blue weighted wrist bands, and blue weighted boots. He waved good bye to the keepers and the students and left to start training for a year in the dense and dangerous jungle.
Chapter 2: First Day in the Jungle
Nicholas has been in the jungle for about a half a day. There are no paths to follow, just plenty of trees and tall grass in the way which present no problem since Nicholas can cut them down so easily. The forest is filled with animals like birds, snakes, and dinosaurs. The several mountains and canyons also provide for hard traveling on land. Nicholas spotted a huge mountain.
He said to himself, "I could get a good view from there, but I don't want to fly up there. That would make it too easy."
Nicholas started to run to the mountain which as a few miles away but only took a couple of minutes to get to through the dense jungle. Once he got to the base of the mountain, he started to jump up the mountain. He got to the top, which didn't take long, and looked around from a cliff.
He said, "This is a huge jungle. As far as the eye can see. It is filled with a lot of dangerous animals. This is going to be fun."
Nicholas jumped down off of the cliff. He stopped himself in midair just inches before hitting the ground. Nicholas landed and thought for a moment.
Nicholas said, "I'm going to have to find a place to stay for a year."
Nicholas searched from the land and from the air until he found a cave that was perfect until he entered it. A huge T-Rex came out and roared in his face. Nicholas wasn't scared.
Nicholas said, "Man, you need a breath mint."
The T-Rex went to bite him, but Nicholas disappeared. He was right behind the T-Rex. It turned around.
Nicholas said, "I'll give you one chance to leave me alone."
The T-Rex started to go bite him again, but Nicholas jumped up to quick to see and appeared in the sky.
He said, "I warned you."
He held his hand out and shot an energy beam at the T-Rex. The T-Rex fell over and died.
Nicholas then said, "Now I have a place to stay and food to eat for a while."
Nicholas landed and pulled the T-Rex by the tail into the cave. He started a fire with an energy beam, cut part of the tail of, and started to cook it.
When Nicholas had finished, it was already dark. He decided to call it a night and go to sleep. The real training would start tomorrow.
Chapter 3: The Training Begins
When the sun rose in the morning, the light shined through the cave and woke Nicholas. He got up and was already clothed since he slept in his suit. He walked out said and stretched his arms.
He said, "Sleeping on a cave floor wasn't as bad as I thought." His stomach growled. He then said, "Must be breakfast time."
Nicholas took to the air to go get some food. He came back about 15 minutes later with some fruit from some trees and a big egg that fell out of a nest but was fine. He lit a fire with an energy beam and fried the egg on a pan he carved out of a big rock. He would have had some of the T-Rex from the night before, but it started to stink, so he threw in far away from the cave. After he was done, he left the cave to go train.
First, he came by a really big and thick tree. Nicholas grabbed it around it's base, but his arms couldn't even fit around in. He started to pull it up, but the roots were deep. He pulled up harder, and the tree came out of the ground. While holding it, he started to spin around. He then threw it and it flew for a couple of miles.
Nicholas said to himself, "I got a ways to go if I want to be good at the tournament."
Nicholas jumped up into the air. He shot out two energy balls. They went out and stopped. Then, they went after Nicholas. Nicholas started to fly away from the energy balls, but they followed him. He avoided and dodged the energy balls, but they still followed him. He kept this up for 3 hours. He was obviously working on his dodging. After 3 hours, he stopped and shot the energy balls with two more energy balls, destroying all of them.
Nicholas then decided that he was hungry, so he when to go eat. He still had some fruit left over form the morning, so he went back to the cave, ate the remaining fruit, and left again to train. Nicholas ran to a nearby canyon to train.
Nicholas then said, "Well, now I guess I should practice sparring."
Since Nicholas comes from a Dojo founded by Tien, he was taught the Tri- Form technique. He used it and then, Nicholas was split into 3.
The original Nicholas said, "Ok. Let's get to it."
The others agreed, and they started to fight. They used all that they had, and they fought for hours. The canyon had been torn up from the fight. The 3 fighters fused back into the 1 fighter. The sun had started to set when Nicholas decided to go get dinner. He went to a nearby lake, jumped in, and caught a big fish. He took it to the cave and roasted it. After he was done, it was dark, so he went to sleep.
His training went like this for nearly a year. He training became harder when he trained longer and harder,and he kept adding things like target practice by shooting a specific tree from different distances, which kept increasing. Just about a year later, the tournament date was becoming closer. He knew that he was going to face the strongest fighters he had ever fought. This would be the greatest test of his skills.
Chapter 4: The Final Day of Training
About 6 months into Nicholas's training, he started to wear heavier weighted clothing that he took with him but was originally to heavy to start with. His new undershirt weighed 75 lbs., his boots were 50 lbs. each, and his wristbands were 25 lbs. each. He has been wearing these weights since then.
At noon, on the day before Nicholas is to leave the jungle and go to the tournament, he was still training. He was punching and kicking trees down, creating a huge clearing. He started to run through the jungle, shooting down a certain type of tree he picked. He ended up at the canyon where he has been sparring for the last year
Nicholas said, "One year has almost passed. I can feel that I've improved greatly. Now, it's time for one last sparring match."
Nicholas used the Tri-Form technique, which he has gotten very good at after using it for a year. The 3 forms of Nicholas started to fight. They continued to fight for hours. The fight had become so big that even the dojo keepers could sense it and see lights from the energy attacks. They had used every technique that Nicholas had learned. After the fight was over, the three fighters were brused and bleeding. Even after they fused back to the original Nicholas, he was still in pretty hurt, and it was only just about 4 o'clock.
Nicholas said, "That was my best fight ever. I think that's enough for today. I think I'll go for a nice swim."
Nicholas ran through the jungle to the lake. He took of his shirt, boots, and wrist bands and jumped into the lake. While swimming, he caught a really big fish. When he was done, he put back on the clothes he took off and took the fish back to the cave. He cooked and ate it. Then, he went to sleep before dark.
When the sun rose, Nicholas was gone. He wad already packed and left to go to the dojo to visit his fellow fighters and get a new change of clothes since his were full of holes.
It took him a lot less time to get back to the dojo than when he left. When the now 16 year old Nicholas, the keepers and students were suprised how much he had grown in strength. He took off his weighted clothing for the first time in a while and jumped up. He jumped much higher that what he could before. His strength had multiplied. The keepers soon brought out a new gi for Nicholas, which was again just like Goku's old orange and blue one. Nicholas went into the changing room to get cleaned and dressed. When he came out, the keepers met him.
One of them said, "Good job Nicholas! You are much stronger than you were 1 year ago."
The other then said, "You will need the extra strength. At the last tournament, a descendant of Goku named Goku Jr. won the championship. It is said that he is a Super Saiyan. Plus he fought the descendant of Vegeta, named Vegeta Jr., who is also to be a Super Saiyan."
Nicholas replied, "Two Super Saiyans?! This is going to be a hard fight if they show up. I hope they do, otherwise, I won't be fighting the strongest in the world."
One of the keepers then said, "You should get going. Registration starts in five hours. You need to hurry."
Nicholas said, "Five hours? That's more than enough time."
Nicholas said good bye to all of the students and keepers. Then, he took off at an amazing speed. He was off to register for and fight in the tournament.
Chapter 5: The Tournament Begins
It only took Nicholas three and a half hours to get to the island where the tournament was being held. He didn't hurry because he wanted to save his strength, especially if he was going to fight a couple of Super Saiyans, which he hoped he would. Nicholas wanted to truly test his power, and he felt that that test would lie within the Super Saiyans known as Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr.
When Nicholas arrived, he still had an hour and a half before he had to sign up, so he looked around the island.
He found stores and restraunts. He ate some food, since he hadn't eaten since earlier before he left the jungle. After he was done, he went to sign up. He had 30 minutes left, but the line was starting to grow. When registration started, the line was really long, with over a hundred fighter. Nicholas signed up, but he still didn't see either Goku Jr. or Vegeta Jr. sign up
After the registration, they had the punching machine qualifications. This is when Nicholas first saw Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr. They were about as tall as he was. Goku Jr was 15 years old, and Vegeta Jr was 16 years old. Since he won the last tournament, he got to set the limit. Holding back, he made a 720. Everyone was surprised, except Nicholas and Vegeta Jr., who Nicholas just spotted. Vegeta Jr. got a 715, and Nicholas got a 705. They were holding back. Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. were suprised that someone else got as high as they did. They, of course, had the highest scores. Five other fighters had lower, but they still qualified. They were Kuo, Din, Mike, Gui, and Tae.
The fights were to start 30 minutes after the fighters were picked. The first fights were like this:
-Goku Jr. vs Tae
-Vegeta Jr. vs Din
-Mike vs Kuo
-Nicholas vs Gui
The first fight, Goku Jr. won easily. The second, Vegeta Jr. won quickly and easily. The third, Mike won in a close fight. The fourth, Nicholas won with little difficulty.
Now, it was time for the semi-finals. First up, Goku Jr. vs Vegeta Jr. The announcer said for the fight to start, and the two fighters started to fight. They moved quickly, but not too quick for Nicholas to see from the sidelines where he was watching the fight. They were punching and kicking. Nicholas noticed that their technique was a little sloppy, which he noted since he could use that to his advantage. They weren't getting anywhere, so they transformed into Super Saiyans. The ausience was amazed and Nicholas was suprised by how much their strength went up.
"I'm going to have to be careful and make good use of my technique if I want to beat one of them," Nicholas said to himself.
The two fighters were now releasing a lot of energy in the fight. Then, they released a bright energy wave an each other. The light blinded the audience, but Nicholas could see. Goku Jr. dodged Vegeta Jr.'s beam and hit him with one of his own. It made contact with Vegeta Jr., and it sent him out of the ring onto the ground. When the audience saw what happened, they cheered for Goku Jr. Goku Jr. looked up at a very old Pan in the stands who was very proud. The announcer declared Goku Jr. the winner of that round and would go to the finals.
The next semi-final fight was Mike vs Nicholas. They were out on the ring and the announcer said to start. Mike ran up to Nicholas ant threw a punch. Nicholas blocked it easily. Mike backed up and Nicholas uppercutted his gut. Mike was knocked out. Nicholas was declared the winner and would move to the finals and fight the current champion, Goku Jr.
Chapter 6: Nicholas vs. Goku Jr.
Nicholas and Goku Jr. walked onto the ring
While walking to the ring, Nicholas looks at Goku Jr. ans said, "Good luck in the match."
Goku Jr. replied, "Thanks," with some sarcasism in his voice.
They stood in the ring and the anouncer said to start the match. Goku Jr. ran up to Nicholas to punch him, but Nicholas vanished. Goku Jr. looked around until he heard a voice from above.
"You're going to have to do better that that if you want to beat me," said Nicholas.
Goku Jr. said, "I will. Count on it."
Goku Jr. powered up and flew towards Nicholas. He punched and kicked, but Nicholas dodged everyone of them. Then Nicholas threw a punck to Goku Jr.'s face, knocking him back. Goku Jr. charged towards him again with all of his power. He was in a rage, throwing random punches and kicks, some even hitting Nicholas. Nicholas flew back.
Nicholas said, "That was better, but not good enough."
Nicholas put his hands together and pulled them back.
Nicholas said, "Here's a technique that your ancestor was a master of. KAME HAME HA!"
In the audience, Pan was amazed that Nicholas knew that technique. She wondered how he learned it.
He shot a kamehameha beam at Goku Jr., which hit him and knocked him down to the ring. Goku Jr. got up. He looked angry, but then he started to smile.
"There's still one thing I can do," said Goku Jr.
Suddenly, Nicholas thought of something.
"He hasn't become a Super Saiyan yet," thought Nicholas.
Goku Jr. powered up. A yellow glow started to appear over him. His eyes turned green, and his hair turned golden. A strong wind came from Goku Jr. He had become a Super Saiyan.
Nicholas, who's still in the air, said, "This is going to be a whole new fight."
Chapter 7: Nicholas Vs. Super Saiyan Goku Jr.
There he was, Goku Jr. as a Super Saiyan. Once Nicholas saw this, he knew that the real fight had just begun.
Goku Jr. appeared right in front of Nicholas. Goku Jr. then started to beat him up. He punched and kicked Nicholas. Nicholas couldn't even block. He could only get hit over and over again. Goku Jr. then knocked Nicholas to the ground. Nicholas stopped himself in mid air. He flew up to Goku Jr. He faced him.
Nicholas said, "That's more like it." He then flew away and stopped.
Nicholas thought, "I can't beat him with brute force. He's too strong for that. I'll have to fight smart. I might have an idea."
Nicholas started to split into three fighters. They all said at once, "Now see if you can stop us."
They all charged Goku Jr. and fought together against Goku Jr. Goku Jr. blocked most of the attacks, and the ones that hit didn't cause much damage. Nicholas found that he was losing too much energy and not causing enough damage, so he fused together.
He thought to himself, "That didn't work. He was able to fight off all of me. I guess that I only have one more option."
Nicholas put his hands by each side of his head. He yelled, "SOLAR FLAIR."
A bright light appeared and blinded everyone but Nicholas. Then, Nicholas started to attack Goku Jr. Nicholas punched and kicked Goku Jr. Goku Jr. was too stunned to fight back, so Nicholas gained the upper hand. Nicholas then flew higher and then powered up as quickly as he could.
He got in the position and yelled, "KAME HAME HA!" and fired at Goku Jr.
Goku Jr. Nearly hit the ground, but stopped just inches before hitting. He got to the ring and rubbed his eyes. He could now see again, but he had gotten so weak from Nicholas's attack that he had to power down from Super Saiyan.
Nicholas then said, "Let's finish this."
Chapter 8: A Winner Emerges
Goku Jr. and Nicholas charged each other. Goku Jr. was drained from Nicholas's attack, and Nicholas is drained from putting a lot of energy into the attack. Both fighters were fighting and trying to determine a winner. Both were throwing punches and kicks at each other. Both were too weak to block much, which would be a problem if their punches and kicks were as strong as they were earlier in the fight.
"Man I'm tired," thought Nicholas, "but I must find a way to win. I only have one last chance. I just hope that the Super Saiyan transformation drained a lot more of his energy than I think."
Nicholas flew back and yelled to Goku Jr., "Let's do just one last energy wave."
Goku Jr. agreed. They both put some space between them, got into positions, and yelled, "KAME HAME HA!"
They let loose two powerful energy waves. The audience, who had just recovered their site from Nicholas's Solar Flair, were amazed.
The two fighters continued the power struggle between their Kamehameha waves. They were putting all of their energy into the waves.
Then, Nicholas noticed something about Goku Jr. Goku Jr was breathing much harder than Nicholas. It appeared that he did lose a lot of energy in the transformation, which is what Nicholas had hoped for. Nicholas gathered all of his energy and put it into his blast, which made it much stronger than Goku Jr.'s blast. Nicholas's blast consumed Goku Jr. and his blast. Goku Jr. fell and hit the ground, making Nicholas the winner.
Nicholas landed on the ground and helped Goku Jr. up.
Goku Jr. said, "That was a great fight. You're good."
Nicholas said, "Thanks. You're good too."
Goku Jr. said, "Thanks."
The anouncer declared Nicholas the winner. Pan came down to see Goku Jr. and to meet the fighter who beat him.
When Pan met the two fighters, Goku Jr. said, "Nicholas, meet my grandmother, Pan."
Pan said, "Nice to meet you."
Nicholas said, "Likewise."
Pan then asked, "I was wondering, how did you learn those moves and the Kamehameha wave?"
Nicholas replied, "I learned them from a fighting dojo that was founded by Tien. Plus, I studied a lot of the old fights."
Pan then said, "Your studies then paid off well."
Nicholas said, "Thanks."
After the ending ceramonies were over, Nicholas said good bye to his new friends and flew back to the dojo.
Chapter 9: Evil Comes from the Other Side
A few months have passed since Nicholas beat the Super Saiyan Goku Jr. and won the championship. Since then, he's been training to get strength similar to the strength given by the Super Saiyan transformation.
While Nicholas is training on Earth, a great evil is about to happen in Other World. Deep within the HLIF, a dark chamber is located where the most dangerous and evil creatures that died are kept, most of which were defeated by Goku and the other Z Fighters. Perhaps the most dangerous one there is also one of the weakest. In a special cell, the evil wizard Babidi is kept. His weakness is made up for in his magic. The cell where he is kept is specially made to stop his magic from going out of the cell and to stop him from using his magic to escape.
"I hate it in here," said Babidi, "If i could escape, I would find that Buu and destroy him. Then, I would destroy all of that planet Earth. It's a pity that this cell cancels out my magic. Luckily, I can still use my magic in the cell. They thought that since I couldn't use my magic to teleport or break the cell, I would be useless. Well, I'll show them. If my father could create a monster like Majin Buu, then I should be able to create a much stronger and obediant monster. I've been working on this spell for 100 years. Soon, I will have perfected it and have created a monster that would me unstoppable, especially since those troublesome fighters are now dead. Now all I have to do is perfect that technique that the stupid Goku used. Hahahahaha!"
Meanwhile, back on Earth, Three fighters are training on different parts of the globe. They are Nicholas, Goku Jr., and Vegeta Jr. All three are trying to improve so they can beat each other at the next tournament. At the moment, these three are the strongest fighters in the world. Soon their strength would be tested like never before.
Chapter 10: Babidi's Escape, the Earth Gets New Heroes
One of the workers in the HLIF had to go chech on Babidi. When he did, Babidi was gon. There was no trace of him. The worker reported this to his superiors, and word of Babidi's escape finally reached Kibitokai, who is the fusion of the Supreme Kai and Kabito. Once he heard this, he gathered Piccolo, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks. They were all dead and allowed to keep their bodies due to their heroic deeds in saving the Earth and the Universe.
Piccolo said, "Babidi's escaped?!"
Kibitokai answered, "I'm afriad so."
Gohan asked, "What is he going to do without Majin Buu?"
Kibitokai answered, "He will make another Buu, maybe something worse. Remember, his father was the one who created Majin Buu in the first place."
Trunks asked, "How did he escape Other World. The Cell blocked his magic, didn't it?"
Kibitokai answered, "He didn't use magic. According to the guards there, he had been trying to perfect a move. I think it was Goku's Instant Transmission. He probably saw Goku use it, and he can use it to travel to the living world."
Gohan said, "This isn't good. We're all dead and my father is no where to be found. Since we can't fight, what could we do?"
Kibitokai answered, "It would take Babidi about a year and a half to gather the energy necessary to create a monster like Majin Buu. No living fighter can currently stop him, but there are fighters on Earth that show promise. With training, they could be helpful. It may be a slim chance, but it is our only hope."
Piccolo asked, "Who are these fighters?
Kibitokai answered, "They are two Saiyans and one human. One Saiyan is Gohan's decendent, and the other is Trunks's."
Piccolo then asked, "What about the human?"
Kibitokai answered, "His name is Nicholas. He trained at a dojo founded by Tien since he was a baby. Don't let him being a human fool you. He knows many of the Z Fighters' techniques, has studied all of the Z Fighters fights, and defeated Goku Jr., Gohan's decendent, in the last tournament. They may be our last hope."
Chapter 11: The New Meets The Old
Nicholas is in the air above a forest. He used the split technique and is now fighting a duplicate version of himself. The fight went on for about three hours. When he was done, he refused with his duplicate self. He was sweating and breathing hard. Suddenly, he was gone.
Nicholas reappeared in a place that he'd never been before, but he saw familar faces. Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. were also there.
Nicholas said, "Goku? Vegeta? What are you guys doing here?"
Goku Jr. replied, "I don't know. I just appeared here."
Vegeta Jr. said, "Yeah, me too. What is this place? What are we doing here. I want some answers."
"I can answer your questions," said a voice.
Kibitokai walked out from a room with Dende and Mr. Popo.
Kibitokai continued, "We are on the Earth's Lookout, a sanctuary where the Guardian of the Earth, Dende, watches over the planet. You are here to train to fight a great evil."
Vegeta Jr. asked, "Then who are you?"
Kibitokai answered, "I am the Supreme Kai. I watch over the Universe and try to protect it."
Nicholas then said, "Supreme Kai!? If you're here, this must be important. What is this 'great evil' that you speak of?"
Kibitokai asked, "I hope you know of the evil wizard Babidi?"
Nicholas answered, "Yeah. He freed Majin Buu. Buu turned against and killed him."
Kibitokai then said, "Well, he has escaped Other World and has come somewhere in the real world."
Nicholas said, "That's impossible! Babidi's dead. How can he return?'
Kibitokai answered, "Babidi is a great wizard. We underestimated his skill. He apparently knows a spell to bring himself back to life and hide himself from us."
Vegeta Jr. then asked, "So, what do you want us to do about this wizard?"
Kibitokai answered, "Most of universe's great fighters are dead. You three are some of the strongest in the universe. You need to perfect your skill in order to beat him"
Goku Jr said, "Some of the strongest in the universe?! Wow."
Nicholas then said, "But what danger is Babidi with Buu dead?"
Kibitokai answered, "He may be trying to create another, more powerful Buu."
Nicholas replied, "We may be strong, but we're no Z Fighters like the original Goku."
Kibitokai said, "Nevertheless, you are the best we have. You must train to fight."
Nicholas then said, "Wait. You said that 'most' of the great fighters were dead. Who's not dead?"
Kibitokai answered, "Well, after Goku merged with the Dragon, he was never seen again. He never appeared in Other World, so he might not be dead. No one knows where he is."
Nicholas said, "Well, Goku or not, I'll fight."
Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. agreed too. They were in for their greatest fight ever.
Chapter 12: The Training Begins
Kibitokai took Nicholas, Goku Jr., and Vegeta Jr. to a place that should be safe for them while they train, the planet of the Chaise. Here, they will train hard and be trained by some of the greatest fighters in Other World.
Kibitokai said, "Welcome to my planet. Here, you all will be trained by some of the greatest fighters in Other World."
Vegeta Jr. asked, "Who?"
Kibitokai answered, "Six fighters that you all should have heard of."
Then, six fighters came walking up.
Nicholas said in amazement, "I don't believe it. This can't be happening."
Kibitokai said, "I assure you, this is happening. They really Gohan, Goten, Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo, and Tien."
Goku Jr. asked, "They're going to train us?"
Kibitokai said, "Yes. You all will be divided up. Every one of you will be trained by two of them."
Gohan walked over to Goku Jr. and said, "Goten and I will train you."
Vegeta told Vegeta Jr., "You will be trained by me and Trunks."
Piccolo said to Nicholas, "Tien and I are going to train you, Nicholas."
Kibitokai said, "Your groups will be separated, so you can learn different styles of fighting and won't be distracted by each other."
Nicholas said, "That's fine with me."
The groups split up and moved to other sides of the planet to start their training.
Chapter 13: Trained By Piccolo and Tien
Piccolo, Tien, and Nicholas flew to an isolated part of the Kais' planet.
Tien asked Nicholas, "So, you're a member of my dojo?"
Nicholas said, "Yeah. I've been training there since I've been able to walk."
Tien said, "That's good. If you've been training for that long, you should be really strong. You did beat a Super Saiyan after all."
Nicholas said, "Well, the only way I beat him was by using the Solar Flair. If I didn't have that, I wouldn't have won. I've been training since the fight so I could be strong enough to fight Goku Jr. while he's a Super Saiyan without having to resort to cheap tricks."
Tien replied, "You're getting there."
After a few minutes, Piccolo said, "We're here." They landed in a mountainous region.
Piccolo said, "If you're going to be training with me, you're going to need some new clothes." Piccolo pointed at Nicholas and shot a beam at him. His clothes, which were just like Goku's orange and blue gi, changed. They looked the same, but the gi was now all dark blue.
Nicholas said, "Wow! these clothes are cool, but they're heavy."
Piccolo said, "Yes. The shirt is 150 pounds. The boots are 100 pounds each, and the wrist bands are 75 pounds each."
Nicholas replied, "No wonder they're heavy."
Piccolo yelled, "If you're going to fight, not only will you have to become stronger than Goku Jr., but you'll have to be stronger that all of us. You can't turn into a Super Saiyan, so you'll have to train harder than both Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. You must prepare to Fight. Will you be ready?"
Nicholas said, "Yes! I will fight."
Piccolo said, "Good. Let's start training. We have one year."
Chapter 14: The Toughest Training
Nicholas is fighting in his newer, heavier outfit against Tien. Tien shoots an energy ball and Nicholas. Nicholas narrowly dodges it. Then, Tien appears behind Nicholas and knocks him to the ground. Nicholas struggles to get up, and he did.
Piccolo yelled, "You're going to have to do better than that if you want to win."
Nicholas said, "Don't worry. I've just begun to fight."
He flew towards Tien and the fight continued.
This training continued for months. During that time, Nicholas, Goku Jr., and Vegeta Jr. have gotten much stronger and faster. They have perfected their techniques and learned new ones. The Supreme Kai knew that while they are getting much stronger, it is not enough. They will have to reach a new level so they can fight whatever evil Babidi is creating.
It is now Piccolo's turn to fight Nicholas. Piccolo rushes up to Nicholas and throws him about a mile. Nicholas charges up and rushes Piccolo, but Piccolo is gone by the time he reaches him. Piccolo appeared behind him and kicks him. Nicholas gets knocked forward, but he recovered. He looked around, but he couldn't find Piccolo.
Then, he heard a voice from above say, "Special Beam Cannon..."
Nicholas knew he had to counter. He said, "Kame Hame Ha!"
The two energy blasts hit. Nicholas was struggling to fight off Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon. Piccolo wasn't even trying. That made Nicholas mad. He put all of his energy into the blast. It caught Piccolo off guard. Nicholas's Kamehameha became stronger than Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon. It nearly hit Piccolo, but he moved out of the way. Piccolo and Nicholas landed. Nicholas was breathing hard and sweating a lot. Piccolo had a grin.
Piccolo thought, "This guy is stronger than I thought, and he's only human!"
Piccolo said, "Let's take a break. Five minutes and then we fight again." Nicholas smiled. He was relieved that he got a break.
Nicholas thought, "This is the toughest training I ever had, and it's only been three months!"
Chapter 15: Piccolo's Idea
Piccolo and Tien have been training Nicholas for eleven months now. Soon, in a month, the time will have come for Nicholas, Goku Jr., and Vegeta Jr. to go find Babidi and stop him and whatever creature he has created.
Piccolo Was watching Nicholas fight Tien. With the help of their training, Nicholas has actually become a challenge for Tien, but it still wouldn't be enough if Babidi created a monster like Buu.
Tien had just been blown out of the sky by Nicholas. When Tien landed, Piccolo told Nicholas to do some training on his own for a few minutes. Then Piccolo told Tien that he needed to talk to him. Tien went to Piccolo to talk.
Piccolo said, "Nicholas is becoming very strong, but he's not strong enough. Unlike the Saiyans, he can't gain extra strength that the Super Saiyan transformation gives."
Tien said, "I know, but we're running out of time. In a month, Kibitokai will make them go find Babidi. I don't think we can get him strong enough in that time."
Piccolo said, "Yes, and I've been feeling the energies of Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. They about as strong as he is in their normal states, but their Super Saiyan states are much stronger. He needs to be much stro... Wait! I know one power up technique that he could use."
Tien said, "You mean the..."
Piccolo replied, "Yes, but if he is to learn the technique, it will take some extra time."
Tien said, "But that's after the date Kibitokai wants for them to go find Babidi."
Piccolo said, "I know. You will have to talk to the Kibitokai. He said that Babidi's creature shouldn't be ready for a year and a half. They would have six months. Some loss in time shouldn't hurt."
Tien said, "But we don't even know for sure that Babidi is on the Earth. He may not even be in the same galaxy."
Piccolo, "I'm positive that he is near the Earth. Go tell Kibitokai. I'll get Nicholas." Tien flew away and Piccolo went to get Nicholas.
Once he got Nicholas, Piccolo said, "Nicholas, you'll going to have some extra time to learn a powerful technique."
Nicholas said, "If that's what I have to do, then bring it on."
Chapter 16: Time to Go Home
A year has passed. It is time for the newest Z Fighters to go find Babidi. With their new strength, they should be able to face Babidi, ecpecially since it should be six more months until his creature is ready.
Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. had said good bye to their trainers and are now talking to Kibitokai. They have gotten very strong, up to level 2 Super Saiyans, but if they can't find Babidi before his creature is done, their strength may not be enough.
Goku Jr. asked Kibitokai, "Where's Nicholas?"
Kibitokai answered, "He needs a extra month to perfect a technique. After that month, he will join you in your search for Babidi."
Vegeta Jr. said, " He doesn't need to waste his time. We'll find Babidi without him. Besides, he's not even a Super Saiyan. What could he do?"
Goku Jr. replied, "He doesn't need to be. Remember, he did beat me in the championship."
Vegeta Jr said, "That's because you're weak."
Goku Jr. then said, "Then how did I beat you?"
Vegeta said, "I was sick or something. If I was at my best, I would have beat you."
Goku Jr. replied, "Sure."
Kibitokai then said, "Now it is time for you to return to Earth. You will go home and rest for one day. Then, you must start to search for Babidi."
Goku Jr. said, "Yes, Supreme Kai."
Kibitokai took Vegeta Jr. to Capsule Corp. Then he took Goku Jr. to Pan's house. The two Super Saiyans told their families and friends about the task that they had to do. Their friend and families were worried, but they all knew that they had to do this. When the day passed, Goku Jr. met Vegeta Jr. at Capsul Corp. Vegeta had a spaceship. They were going to search the solar system for a about a month, and then come back and search the Earth while they get supplies to search the rest of the galaxy.
Elsewhere, Babidi is reading some old documents is a dark area hidden from everyone else and is lighted only by a ball of light above him that he created with his magic.
He said, "Yes! This is the spell that I wanted. Now I just need the energy of some very strong fighters, and I know just where to get them."
Chapter 17: HLIF Escape, The Search For Babidi Ends
Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. are out searching the solar system for Babidi. Nicholas is training with Piccolo and Tien to learn a special technique. Little do they know what is about to take place.
Workers in the HLIF anr running around and panicing. Some of their most powerful prisoners have dissappeared. Cell, Frieza, King Cold, Nappa, and the Ginyu Froce are gone. Even Dabura, who was not in the HLIF, was gone. The news is told to Kibitokai.
Kibitokai said, "They're all gone?! First Babidi, now them. I know Babidi is behind this, but why? We must get Goku Jr. and Vegeta to go back to Earth. I hope Piccolo and Tien finish Nicholas's training soon."
About a month has passed. Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. have returned to Earth. They left the ship at Capsul Corp. for getting fuel and supplies. Then, they went to search the Earth. In midair over a desert, they recieve a telepathic message from Kibitokai.
Kibitokai said, "Boys, you must be careful. Babidi now has Cell, Frieza, and other fighters with him."
Vegeta Jr said, "They shouldn't be a problem. We're level two Super Saiyans now. They don't have a chance."
Kibitokai then said, "Don't be so sure of that. With Babidi's magic, they could become much stronger."
Goku Jr. added, "He might be right, Vegeta. Kibitokai, is Nicholas done with his training?"
Kibitokai answered, "Not yet. He should be done within a day."
Vegeta Jr. said, "He wouldn't help anyways."
"You're right, for nothing could help you now," said a strange voice.
Kibitokai said, "It can't be!"
The voice said, "Oh, but it is. It's the great wizard Babidi. You thought you could hide you're little plan from me, but I'm just too powerful for you."
Kibitokai said, "Why did you take the prisoners?"
Babidi answered, "Just look behind your two pathetic fighters."
Just then, a huge explosion happened behind Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr.
Babidi said, "Get ready to die at the hands of my greatest creature."
