1. This may or may not have been said, but if it has, consider this support for the earlier post. I think the friends list should have an option to be organized by newest posts, so that the most recently updated friends would be at top.
2. I think having the option to be emailed when there is a new entry in the GB or a new comment on a certain post would be cool.
3. Are we a threat to the planet and everything on it? Yes. We are populating quickly, and out cities keep expanding. Plus, we've created weapons that can kill everything on the planet other than roaches. We are a threat, but we can also help the planet a great deal. The problem is that we don't. As for people saying that they'll be dead before the planet dies, well, that's not really the best line of thinking now is it? There will still be some species alive, be it human or not. They deserve a planet to live on as much as we do.
4. Does anyone know a good alternative to sit-ups? I need to work on my abs, and sit-ups cause a pain in my back. Also, does anyone know how to improve your back?
5. My dad hates me watching anything animated. He says that animated shows are not good because they aren't "real." He thinks they are childish. I don't think he knows about the more mature anime out there.
6. Your art is good, and I was thinking of putting in a bad guy with bat-like wings. Still, I think the eyes are a little too big and the heads a little too round. Still good though.
7. Some people have come to me saying that they would like to draw my manga. I'm going to hold an audition. I want the people who want to draw it to draw this character vs an original character in a fight. Those are the only requirements. I have a color version of this character, but I want you to make your own colors if you choose to color it. It can be in black and white. Well, have fun with it. 8. There will be, and I've made changes since I've made this post. There will be more than two, but I have two members of the group more developed. I plan on there being probably three. The demon will be the egotistical one, and the human will be more modest. The names will change. Those are only temporary names. I'm also working on group interactions and motives. Remember, this is the early stages. Knowing me, there will me a lot of changes.
9.
Recently, I read an article complaing about the multitude of Spider-Man comic book titles. You've got the original, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Ultimate spider-Man, Marvel Knights Spider-Man, Spider-Man Unlimited, Marvel Age Spider-Man, Venom, The Pulse, Spider-Girl, and currently two mini-series... Too much of a good thing? I think so. It's an example of what's wrong with US comics today. First,no innovation. Every title Marvel publishes is either one that has its roots in the sixties, or one that was a spin-off of one of the sixties characters. There are a few exceptions, but the fact is, no one in that company is taking a chance on new material. Why not? Simple; why risk money with something new, when you've got a stable of characters you know will sell? X-Men sell. Spider-Man sells. Why mess with what works? Undortunatly, that kind of thinking, while useful in the short-run, is harmful in the long run, for the exact reason i've just illustrated: too many titles about the same thing. Folks in marketing will say, "But they're not the same! Ultimate spider-Man is for the younger crowd, to get them into comics! Marvel Age Spider-Man is for the twekve and under demo! Amnazing and spectacular are the core titles. Marvel Knights is for the more mature crowd, etc..." Folks in marketing caused the Clone Saga, okay? Heres' an idea: why not have the original book, Amazing Spider-Man, appropriate for all ages? Then you don't need Ultimate or Marvel Age? Take Spectacular, and make it the darker, edgier, more mature book. Apparently, the thought of appealing to as many demographics as possible with as few different titles as possible never occurred to anyone. --; Maybe, if we did this to the X-Men, and Batman, and superman, new readers wouldn't be so damn confused over the huge multitude of titles. Also, I hate to say it, but the Ultimate Universe has to go. It's stuck in a rut, and the great talent that's on the books could better be put to use inside the "main" Marvel Universe. Finally, American comics need to stop copying manga and actually learn from it. Manga isn't successful just because it looks different; it's successful because it covers a far broader range of genres that just superheroes. I like superheroes, but I also like peanut butter, and I don't need everything I eat to taste like peanut butter. Marvel's recently taken a step in the right direction with tHe Pulse, about news reporters covering super hewroes, and X-Static, about celebrity super heroes, but they're still tied to super heroes. Try some romance, or drama, or comedies. With all the talant Marvel currently has, you'd think different types of stories would emerge. Oh, and maybe having better market penetration wouldn't hurt. ^^; So, basically, trim the fat and broaden your horizons: if American comics could do that, they might become more popular. It'd be a shame if this great medium died out.
For one thing, you are right. There are too many Spider-Msn books. I'm a huge Spidey fan, but it gets too expensive. Plus, bringing up the Clone saga makes a good point since there were way too many books back in the 90s. I feel Marvel is starting to repeat past mistakes. I, however, disagree with the Ultimate line of comics. They are not for the younger kids. The Ultimate line is for newbies who want to see Peter from the beginning without all that 40+ years of continuity and for the other readers who want to see Peter back at his roots, as a high school kid with problems on top of being a super hero. All in all, there just needs to be two books, Amazing and Ultimate. Both have great writers are pencilers. Both are very good. As for X-Men, well, I don't have a preference which regular book should stay, but I know that the Ultimate one should. I've got one word to argue your want to get rid of the Ultimate line of books, and that word is "Bendis." Well, if you want a better arguement, the Ultimate line does a great job of getting the characters back to their roots while putting them in the 21st century. It sure does a better job than Spider-Man: Chapter One (shudders at the thought of that book). Plus, well, Bendis. That is really all you need. Brian Micheal Bendis is an awesome writer. He's currently one of the best in the business, and that saying a lot since he works on like 3-5 books a month. If you need one word that is unargueable to keep the Ultimate line, it's Bendis.
10. 1. Downloading is wrong because the creators don't get anything from it like they should. However, if no one really wants anime to be downloaded, they should fix some problems. Bad dubs, expensive DVDs, and difficult-to-find anime lead to downloading the many fansubbed anime online. If people thought downloading anime was a major problem, they should try to fix those. 2. Well, I didn't buy anime DVDs before I downloaded anime and I don't do it now. It's not a question of if I like them. It's a question of having the money. If I had the money, I would be much more likely to buy the DVD after downloading than before. Downloading is like watching anime on TV. If you like watching it, you buy it. 3. I must agree with everyone who says "I don't know." Some might, and some might not. My own question: Downloading anime = illegal. How about downloading music videos people made with anime clips?
11. Well, I like must disagree with you on your distaste of a different episode everyday. Yes, you are right about Inuyasha and other shows restarting much quicker, but I hate waiting a whole week, even if it's two episodes a week. The best thing whould be to space it out. Two episodes a week may be fine, but the wait is the true murder. As for MSG, MSG 0080, and GG, why are there two episodes of G Gundam but just one each of the others? They should replace one G Gundam episode with somethign else, like Gundam Wing. Just not SD Gundam. Thanks for telling us the line up, but what's with the time gap between G Gundam and Inuyasha?
12. Keep in mind please that this is a very early draft. Expect many "unknowns" and "tentitives." Title: unknown Writer: Me Artist: unknown Setting: A world similar to something of our past, in which the technological advances of the last few centuries, including guns, do not exist. Plot: In this world, there are four main types of creatures: animals (like on Earth), humans (again, like on Earth), animalistic-type demons (tentitive name) who are mindless and ruthless and powerful with abilities usually unique to each demon species, human-like demons (tentitive name) with the intelligence and many physical characteristics similar to humans but with special abilities unique to each demon species. Many human villages have a protector (tentitive name), one who is the best fighter in the village, to protect it from trouble inside and outside the village. The main character, Aaron, is the son of his village's protector and a protector-in-training. On day, many animalist-type demons attack the village, and while Aaron's father fought them off, they still damaged him greatly. He fell into a deep coma. The village elders suspect that there is something bigger behind the attack and ask Aaron to go off and find a way to stop these demons. Aaron is as great a fighter as his father, and a master swordsman with speed and strength practically unrivaled by anyone but his father, but he lacks self-confidence. Plus, he does not want to leave the village unguarded. The elders get him to go off to find some way to stop the approaching evil. Along his journey, Aaron encounters a temple in the middle of a jungle. Inside the temple, he wanders into a bright bluish-white light. In the light, he feels an intense pain for what seems like hours. When the light disappeared, he had some strange new power. Suddenly, he is attacked by many dog-like demons. They run him out of the temple and chase him into an open field. One jumps at him, and Aaron sticks his hand out in order to stop him. Amazingly, a burst of wind comes out of his hand, knocking the dog-like demon into others. Then, those demons attack at once. Aaron tries that same attack, and the wind blows them all back. They wimper away. Thus starts the true journey of his new abilities. Along the way, he meets friends who join his group. One of which is a human-like demon that had wings and feathers, giving him the appearance of an angel. Aaron also learns more wind attacks (just 3 wind attacks in total). That's about it for now.
13. Unfortunately, I have not used any anime or manga for school. I have, however, used American comics, such as comics from the golden age of comics and a comic about the holocaust for a paper in 20th Century History about how comics affect our view of WW2.
14. It sounds ok, but it's full of clichés. The seperated-at-birth thing is a tad old. It was in Sonic Underground, for one example. Maybe they can be cousins. I haven't seen much of that. Still, you may be able to make it interesting. It all depends on the finished product. Good luck with that.

Sonic X

I have to agree with everyone who dislikes the voice casting in Sonic X. Personally, I was hoping it was going to be done by the voice cast of the Sonic Adventure games. Plus, I never liked how just one ring would power up Sonic so much. I'd prefer it if it was more like the SA2B where the rings are used for cash like it is in the Chao Black Market.

Trigun

Actually, I think what happens to Wolfwood is a smart move. It is unexpected. He is a well-liked character, and what happens seems to make him an even more important character by making him stand out more.
17. I don't want to go to my Senior Prom. For one, our prom colors suck. I think they're red, gold, green, and silver. Green may not be on there. Plus, I'm not real big on dances and big, fancy parties.
18.
Why is Witch Hunter Robin "pretty good"? All you've done here is state your feelings about the show; you need to provide justification for your opinions. As I mentioned in my wish list thread, I've been very excited about WHR's arrival at AS. I like its unique character designs--they might even be described as daring--and smooth animation. Certain shots in the beginning episode remind me of scenes from X-TV, particularly when Amon first attacks the rouge witch. Speaking of which, Amon is a fantastic (and highly attractive) character. I really look forward to learning more about his abilities. I'm a little bit disappointed with WHR's dub. While it features a whole array of popular and talented VAs, here they all sound rather stiff. It could have something to do with the show's translated script; the dialogue is saddled with slow moments and awkward pauses. Hopefully everyone will eventually become more comfortable with their roles. ~Dagger~
Ok. Here's a more in-depth opinion. I think that Robin is a cool character. From all that I've seen, she's closed off and quiet, yet she has great power. I like characters who are very powerful yet don't show it off. They're usually the ones who should be feared. The animation is good and smooth too.
19. I've seen the first few episodes. It's pretty good.
20. Well, unfortunately, I've only seen the first episode, but it was good from what I saw.
21. It messed up a couple of quizzes I added. Nothing shows up when I look at them, and they won't be deleted.
22. Do you get any notification if it does/does not get approved?
23. This may not be in the right place. If not, please have a mod or admin move it. About the fanart, how long does it usually take for submitted art to be approved? If it's not approved, do you get sent a message or something so you won't keep waiting?
24. Here's another suggestion. How about a quiz editor for the ones you've already taken. I'd like to change the titles for some of them.
25. I know that we can only show three quiz outcomes on our myOtaku sites. In order for curious people to see all the quizzes or for proud people to show them all off, I suggest there be a seperate page so that people can see the results of all the quizzes. It could be like an archive for the quizzes.
