you should be able to get all of the chocobos very easy.. just time consuming.. i would suggest digging up all of the chocographs.. (if you dont need the items .. you can always sell them :)) colors go from yellow-> blue-> red-> darkblue-> gold yellow is your basic chcocobo blue can go onto reefs and shallow waters red can climb mountains darkblue can travle over all water gold can fly (can only take off and land in forests though) might i add that once you get a red chocobo it can still do the blue chocobo's skills and darkblue can do red's and blue's and gold can do all i would dig up all of the chocographs at choco forest before you go out and dig.. one should turn your choco blue, take whichever vehicle you have out west of lindblum(sp?) and you should find a island with some choco tracks, land there and call your chocobo.. walk around some islands and you should be able to reach the island with a cavern on the side, enter and dig up more chocographs.. (at chocobo's lagoon.. when you first get there if your beak isn't a very high level.. you will have a hard time) the blue chocobo is kinda slow.. so i would first go into your options and change them so that you are always in run mode.. after you get all the chcocographs there.. you can go out and dig em up.. then one of them should turn your chocobo red.. go back to chocobo forest and you will have more land to cover and be able to dig up more chocographs.. eventually you will get dark blue.. then go back to chocobo lagoon.. then after you get all the chocographs there.. you can go dig em up.. then you will get gold.. x_x with the dead peppers you dug up.. (you will) .. you start to fly.. then go find a little shadow.. the shadow is tiny.. so keep an eye out.. feed choco a dead pepper and he will zoom up to the chocobo air garden! :) for the best and final chocographs .. btw once you get the gold chocobo you can get to chocobo paradise.. which is that little island way up in the top left corner of the map.. you have to get there via gold chocobo.. the chocobo next to the chubby chocobo will give you 99 dead peppers if you talk to him :)

Ok you silly people, let me throw in my 5 cents(sadly i dont even have 5 cents right now.. :( i'm so poor.. lol) ok you do fight ark in olivert(sp?) (be sure to steal the holy lance for freya..) once you beat him you will recive a pummice peice, the pummice peice will teach your summoners/white mages the valuable 'Boost*' ability, be sure to learn that on both eiko and dagger later on in the game if you do the chocobo hot and cold game* you will recive another pummice peice (I recommend that you do the hot and cold game, you will get tons of useful items.. if you do the part where you use the dead pepers you will get nearly everyones final weapon :D ) way late in the game.. you will be able to fly into a little pinkish energy ball thing (Memoria) above the IIfa tree, enter that.. and you will come to a part where quinna tries to swim.. because she thinks shes in water.. once that little part is over go behind the rock and press the action button until you fight hades, once he is beaten, he will be able to synth some of the best items in the game :D like.. PUMMICE(not pummice peice.. but he can make pummice peices too.. although you have to have pummice and cinnas hammer) Pummice will summon Ark! (only dagger can summon ark) Ark is a very fun to watch summon ^^ there is another way to get Pummice and ark way before then though.. you have to get to the part of the chocobo hot and cold game where you can use dead peppers, with your golden chocobo (flying) you find a little shadow and use the dead pepper, you and choco wil fly up to chocobo air garden :) there you go to the back area, and there should be some strange rocks and such, press the action button and the moogle will fly over and warn you.. be sure your equiped and go ahead and fight.. once you beat the scary flying marble(ozma), you will get PUMMICE a fair warning, ozma is probably the hardest battle in the game did i leave anything out? get KOTR and have mimic :) and 100 megalixers before you fight emerald anyways, just fly the highwind over the crater and land in it, you will climb down a rope ladder, then you just run around down there for a while.. (watch out for the stone creature things.. they cast lv5or3.. (i cant remember) death. its better just to run) when you get down the first downward spiral of walking ou will enter a door then you can explore a bit (good place to get enemy skills), when you get to a part where all the characters are standing next to like a mako pool or maybe its a white hole or somthing(?) stop.. dont go any farther.. be sure to have yuffie :) so you can morph tonberrys into ribbons! :D and have your characters triple materia growth weapons on.. they may not be the best but thats ok.. just cast some summons or somthing ^_^ edit- oh yeah! when you get the save crystal.. dont use it until you get to the part where you clime down some then theres a fork between two ways to go.. use it in the middle there, save then you can continue either way :)
