The third thing is spears/tridents (same category). Too big to be arrows, so they're #3. Of course, you only found out about them if you're stupid enough to fight red guards carrying distance weapons with only your blue shield and level one Fighter's Sword.... Ask away, 'Breko.

Jack awoke, swearing silently to himself. He'd left his aunt to cook for herself, meaning she might not wake up the next morning. he leapt from bed and looked at the clock. 6:49. He ran down the stairs, pulled ground beef, sour cream, lettuce, tomato chunks, taco shells (both soft and hard), and hot sauce. He cooked, tossed, stirred, and broiled the meat to perfection. He microwaved the shells, and put all of the ingredients together. He served the tacos just as a young girl under Ami Threscett's care walked in from her bath, wrapped only in a towel. John turned quickly, covering his eyes. Jack:Hey, Aris, dinner's ready. Aris:I see that, Jack. Thanks anyway, though. Aris Leonis's parents had also died and left Ami as Aris' godmother. Her long brown hair hung soggily as she picked up her plate and walked out of the room, letting Jack grab his own plate. Ami walked in the room after the thirteen-year old orphan went into her own room. Ami picked up her plate, smiling at her nephew. Ami:Hmm, tacos. Thanks, kiddo. Jack:You're welcome, Aunt Ami. Say, has Aris' boyfriend shown up yet? I gotta give him "the talking to". Ami:You mean the talk where you make the boyfriend know if he pulls anything, especially in the downward direction (meaning pants), you'll cut "it" off? Jack:Yeah. That one. Ami laughed and nodded, Jack walked up the stairs and decided his nickname wasn't needed. He called Jaimie up, but got a machine. He left a message. Message:Hey, Rain. it's me. I know I haven't called you that in ages. i just wanted to apologize. Oh yeah, and you can call me John again. Just you, though. Well, uh....bye. Jack hung the phone up and sighed, falling asleep holding the phone.

OOC:Jaimie, listen, I'm not pulling anything! I joined because I'm interested in this RPG, and why would I want to get the girl in this RPG? Geez, I quit that with my last RPG. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At the end of the day, jack slid into his bath and sighed broadly. Deciding he didn't need it, he'd already taken two in the same hour, he put some jeans on and walked into the basement. His anger, far from taken out, pushed him too far. Jack:Heroics?!?! Starting anything!?!? I just came here to be a student! Who the **** does she think she is?!?! He smashed his fist into the punching bag hanging from the rafters again and again. As he punched, thinking about her, his anger began to boil to a breaking point, clouding his vision. He turned his body slightly, aiming a powerful punch at the bag, but missed totally and cracked the wall, spider-webbing a bunch more cracks in both the wall and his knuckles. He swore loudly, walked up the stairs, and grabbed the bandages. As he wrapped the injured hand with gauze, he calmed down and even began to cry. His aunt walked in and saw him, sitting down and patting his back. Ami:jack, what's wrong? The last time you cried was when you tried to kill yourself because... Jack:Don't remind me. I failed and we moved. It's just that today i found someone I used to love, and she all but killed me today. How am I supposed to explain to her that I only left her was because I had to or she'd get hurt. Now she's trying to hurt me worse than anything, and she rubbed it in with her new boyfriend. Ami:I see. Well, I'll leave you alone. Good night, kiddo. Jack:Aunt Ami? Why didn't you ever get married? Ami:Because the one man I loved with all my heart was killed two years before we planned on getting married. I swore never to move on from him. I never did. Jack:How old are you, anyway? Ami:I'm twenty-eight, but if anyone asks, I'm twenty-four and holding. Ami smiled and left the room, letting Jack mull his thought over. He sighed and pulled his calendar out, having finished his homework. A school dance was scheduled at the end of the month. Even though the principal had said there were dances often at the school, Jack had trouble believeing it, having gone to schools where dances were quite rare. He sighed and checked the date. The dance was a week away. He sighed even more loudly and began crying again, remembering his first dance, the dance he'd realized what was in his heart. For the millionth time in his life, Jack cried himself to sleep, wishing he'd died in a certain car accident long ago...

Jack stood at the end of class, stretching and cracking his back. his teacher saw him and shook her head, making him stop and blush sheepishly. He shook his head and walked back out into the hall, not watching where he was going. He smacked right into two people, holding each other. He bent to pick his things up, apologizing. Jack:Geez, I'm sorry. I've just been out of it since this morning. He stood, looking the at the two people in front of him. It took all of his self-control for his jaw not to drop. He turned and began to walk away when Jaimie called after him. Jaimie:Hey, wait! You seem familiar. Do I know you from somewhere? Jack:No, I don't think so. My name's Jack Archer. At that moment, however, the principal rushed up to him, waving a roll-call form. Principal:I'm sorry, Jack, but we made a mistake on your name. We accidentally made your name on the forms "John Schock", but all you have to do is change it to what you need on this form. John's face flushed as he filled out the form and the principal left. He looked back to Jaimie, whose arms were crossed and a look of anger showed on her face. Jaimie:So what's up with you and Step-on-me? Jack:Her name's Stephanie, and I broke up with her a while ago. Jaimie:Why didn't you tell me? Why'd you lie to me about "Jack Archer"? Jack:I didn't. Mom got married, my new "dad" adopted me, and I became John Archer. From there, i watched Robotech, and got my nickname, Jack Archer. Jaimie:So it's not after your dad? Jack:Who, Jack Schock? No. I'm glad all three of my "parents" died. Now I live with my aunt, Ami Threscett. Jaimie:Hm. Your eyes...they're blue now. Why? Jack:Corrective surgery changed their color. And I let my hair grow. Jaimie:AND I see that you work out now, judging by the way your shirt is straining to keep on your chest. And judging by your arms. You had to wear a tank-top, didn't you? Jack looked at himself sheepishly, blushing. He finished his conversation with Jaimie and headed off to class, but stopped, realizing class wasn't for ten minutes. He turned back to walk to his locker when a fist came right up to his face. Reacting quickly, Jack bent backwards, avoiding the punch and grabbing the arm attached to it. Ryan, who had thrown the punch in a jealous rage, found himself on the ground with his arm twisted behind him. After doing that little to him, Jack stood and walked off. He met another student who looked at him oddly. Student:Why didn't you finish him off? You had every right to, and you damn well could have. Jack:Maybe, but fighting isn't my way. I don't rub it in when beat people. I just do enough to let them know that I can beat them and it's useless to fight. With that, he turned and walked away to his next class.

OOC: New guy in. PMed Domon, he let me join. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jack woke up quickly the next morning, trying his hardest not to grin at his first day at school in his new state. He dressed in his classic "first-day" outfit: blue jeans, green tank-top, and tied his hair into his favorite braid. He put his boots on and ate his breakfast of eggs, bacon, and grits. He sighed, remembering eveything about his past. He smiled again when he remembered New Orleans, his first home. He sighed again at how his name was changed from its original, his mother having married and made her husband adopt him. Since then, he'd used his nickname, Jack, instead of John. He stood and rushed to school after giving his aunt a good morning note. He found his way to the principal's office easily. Principal:Ah, hello. You must be John Scho- Jack:It's Archer. My name didn't change when my "dad" died. Principal:I see. John Archer. Well, here's your schedule and locker number. Jack:Thanks. By the way, I prefer to be called Jack. He headed to his locker, getting the lock open and placing the books he'd bought in it according to his schedule. He turned and headed for first period, stopping briefly as a familiar face drifted by. Jack:Was that- no. I'm just daydreaming. He walked in and took his seat, sitting quietly and letting class start.

Name:Jack Archer Gender:Male Age:15 Class:Sophomore Description:Dark black hair, ice-blue eyes. Strong, tall build. Always wears a green longsleeve shirt, a blue jean jacket, blue jeans, and a pair of cowboy boots. Transferred from a school in Texas, Jack lives with his aunt. His mother and father died recently and left custody to his Aunt Ami Threscett, and he prefers it that way. Having grown up in an abusive environment, he's become strong, healthy, and extremely flexible, though by no means is he a bully. His outlook is optimistic and joyful, and he rarely cares about his looks.

Hunter set Deedlit in her bed, removing the arrow that paralyzed with all of his careful knowledge. With the wound bandaged and treated, she drifted into sleep. Hunter, with no qualms, yanked the arrow out of his shoulder. Siren, more able to move, yelped and grabbed and bandage, dressing Hunter's fresh new wound. In turn, Hunter removed the poisonous barb from Siren's body as carefully as he'd removed Deedlit's. Siren yawned and sat down on her bed. Hunter sat in a chair, munching on a plate of spiced potatoes and drinking a warm, fresh cup of hyava. Suddenly, he just put everything down, stared at the window, and jumped from his chair. Riona's things were overturned and mussed. The window had scratches all over it. Riona was taken, as well. Hunter jumped from the window alone, landing deftly and shifting into his half-draogn form. He rushedthrough the forest to where he'd been, searching frantically for Riona. He found her, asleep, not far from where he'd been held. He banged a huge hole in her cage, jarring her awake as he broke all the chains about her. She yelped, smiled, rushed out, and collected her things, releasing Twomoons from his cage. Hunter took her and brought her back to the city, where he awaited what else would happen...

Locke awakened, Siren injecting her own blood into him. Too weak to move, he silently tried to refuse her, but she took no notice. When his blood was restored nearly to normal level, he felt his strength restore to enough to stand and walk. The wounds on his body, bandaged and treated, refused to bleed anymore. Siren removed the needle and sat down on the table nearby as Locke stood, nodding a brief thank you to her. He bent, on a whim, and kissed her cheek. He then strode off and sat in one of the chairs that connected to the cyberworld. He was attached and brought into the Construct.

Locke, against his own better judgment, jumped from his laying position and almost buckled to the floor. He set his knees as Siren's back was turned, lifted the unconscious and bleeding Trio from the ground, and carried him to his bunk, cleaning the blood from his wounds, face, and clothes. Locke:Come on, kiddo. People like us're gonna save the world. Can't die now. He turned and walked from the room, stopping to hack blood over a rail. He fell and knocked himself out on the self same rail. The last thing he saw was the upper deck falling up from him as he fell into the cargo bay, landing near the remodeled F-16. His side split open on a tool chest. Trio had managed to awaken, saw his fall and weakly rang a bell, alerting Siren and Cat of an emergency in the cargo bay before sliding into the blissful ignorance of a pain-induced concussionary sleep...

Locke woke up in his chair, having fallen asleep upon arrival in the real world from extreme exhaustion. He struggled out of his chair after Cat pulled his plug from the unit, falling to his knees and hacking blood onto the floor. The fight with Delta had been worse than he'd thought. Locke:****. Sunuvabitch hurts worse than grandma's soup. Siren:You ok? Locke stood, shaking, and grabbed a tankard of Tank's famoud pep brew, good for degreasing engines and picking a person right up. Locke wiped the stream of blood from his mouth, drained the tankard, and coughed rapidly, hacking more blood to the floor. Cat jumped up, pushing Locke onto a chari and reclined him, gave him a flask of medicinal herbal tea, and sat back to heed Neo's call for an exit when it came as Siren put a wet rag onto Locke's forehead. Locke:Heh. Well, I guess my luck was kinda dry on this one. Siren:Why'd you have to be so damned brave and fight? Why couldn't you run away? Locke:Treasure hunter's pride. I couldn't bear to be a coward until I knew he was my match. Siren:You're a fool. Locke:And only fools fall in love. Ah, well, I guess there should be a first time for everything. Siren:What do you mean? Locke:First time anything's been stolen from me. Siren dabbed the rag across Locke's forehead as Neo and the others called for an exit. Siren:Your pride? Locke:No. My...never mind. It's not important. Like me. Completely unimportant... A single tear fell from his eye as he turned his head to face away from Siren. Locke reached up to his neck and gripped the only thing he owned alone, a necklace he'd made on his own a while back in the real world, from one of the last remaining sappphires in the world. It was a sapphire heart, etched with an "S"...

OOC: Yeah Flash, you /mean/ it, unlike Warlock. At least I include posts with my OOCs, /unlike/ you BOTH. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Xion kickstopped at Satina's neighnorhood. He went up, knocked on her door, and found nobody home. He swore silently to himself as he got out some notepaper and hastily scribbled a note, slipping it under her door. Note:Satina, Heh, I've been discharged. I was discharged for punching Zero, and those sons of b*tches let him beat up on everybody else. Well, Signas also exiled me from the city. I'm putting a map-disk with a tracker with the note. That way, you can find me wherever I am if you need. See you soon. Xion dropped back onto the Alaris and gunned for the docks. He had a boat to take him to an islet base he'd built a long while ago. He sighed, deciding forever to become a vigilante. He hoped life wouldn't get s bad he'd pull his own plug, but he'd already lost his dream. His drive carried him past Maverick Hunter HQ, and as he looked upon the walls of the base, something stirred within him. Within his own system, he was harboring a deep hatred of the Hunters, with few exceptions. He reached into his chestplate and pulled out the Mavrick Virus firewall chip. He smiled evilly as he drove past the edifice he now hated...

Kitsune's mother walked in, sighing and sitting at her foster son's bedside. Ami Katsuhito:Son, a girl's heart is tough to get into, though it's easy for them to get to you. I know. I had your father after me for a solid year before I even accepted a movie with him. Kitsune:I guess you're right. I'll just go to our matroom and practice before resting. I have a lump on my head to rival the one you gave the cook for putting vinegar in the sushi! Ami:That bad? Must've hurt! I'll go get the thermometer... Kitsune:Oh, mom! Stop fooling around! Kitsune threw off his sheets, wondering how he'd gotten into bed, and moved to his personal gym. He had a lot of anger to take out, and he proved it by making perfect bull's-eyes with all fifty of his throwing kunais. Practically screaming with rage, he punched the wall as hard as he could until his fist began pouring blood. He cared nothing about what happened in the park. He just cared about Siren. He collapsed to the ground, tears and sobs coming forth rapidly and unrestrainably. He cried well into the night, eventually falling asleep. He was lucky it was Friday night...

So long ago, yet still it haunts my dreams... A car drive, to a school dance, to Hell, now it seems. I accepted that morning, had no idea I'd lose, this time... Though in a faithless moment, my life lost its rhyme. Ami, so beautiful, so bold, had loved me dearly true... I couldn't care less, my life a blur of an endless hue. Until the accident stole her from me, I was strong... Then, when gone from me forever, I realized I was wrong. She was my breath, my life, my undying hopes... And when her life was claimed, I was on the ropes. All in an instant, my recklessness turned to care... But for what? Fight against Death? Even I wouldn't dare! Death should have claimed me, not her... But, like the choice of Admetus, her love did stir. She took my place in the shadow of Heaven above... With the grace of an angel and the wings of a dove. Sweet and gentle as can be, she loved me so true... It could be said of our love, like fire it grew. In the emergency room, when she sat near death... I whispered my feelings, and lent her my breath. As she grasped my hand, I whispered the phrase... She whispered it back, with a youthful blaze. Her lips met mine, the first and final time... Ending so quickly my life's endless rhyme. Now I've moved on, love in my heart... A lover whom distance shan't keep apart. Still, not a night has gone by I haven't cried... I swore to myself that I wouldn't....I guess I lied.

Delta recovered quickly, pounding Locke so hard in the chest, he flew eight blocks backwards back towards the Metacortex building. Locke stood, sheathing his sword and wiping the blood from his mouth. Locke:Those who fight and run away will live to fight another day! Locke turned on his heel and ran as fast as he could, using his bent-reality rules to move faster than the Agent wold be. Delta held back. Delta:Hmm, yes. We will fight again. And I will destroy you. Locke ran back into the Metacortex building, rushing into the elevator and heading to the roof. Someone else was inside with him, and he swore silently. Agent fodder. He leapt up, hit the emergency hatch, and rushed out, opening to doors to the floor two stories down from the roof. He thought he'd seen Siren at the top of the shaft, but he didn't have time to stick around. He'd seen Gamma and Epsilon behind him as he ran. He climbed the stairs, up to the roof, and sat on a ledge, drawing his sword and SigSauer at the elevator door only to see.....Siren. Locke:I thought I saw you in the shaft. Siren:What's making you so nervous? Locke:Two agents on me, maybe three. I have a way down, but you might not like it. Siren:Anyway but sticking around to die. Locke:Good. Well, you'll have to hold on tight, and try not to get sick. Siren did as she was told, looking at his face, noticing no lewd pleasure or anything. He drew up his sword, rushed over the edge of the building, and plunged his sword into the side, bending the rules again for his blade to drag through, all the way to the bottom. Four exhilirating minutes later, Locke set Siren on the ground and pulled his weapon from the building. Luckily, the side he'd chosen was the side leading to a dark alleyway. Nobody had seen them. He pulled out his cell phone and called Neo. Neo:Yes? Locke:Locke here. We have a new type of Agent, possibly three. NEw agent seems to lack the body change, but has increased strength and speed. My mouth is still bleeding from our encounter. I'm getting an exit for me and Siren from Cat now. Neo:Gotcha. He then phoned Caterpillar as Siren sat on top of a trash can. Cat:Way ahead of you, mano. The window next to Siren is open, right? Just inside is a phone. Tell Siren. Locke:Gotcha. Hey, Siren! Exit right next to you. The phone rang, Siren picked up, and disappeared. lcoke thought to himself why nobody was home as he set the phone back. It rang, he picked up, turning just in time to see Delta aiming a punch that hit brick wall. Locke was out.

Kitsune's dreams haunted him. Visions of his father's death, his wounds, his scars, everything came back to him in one night. His restless sleep drove him to the brink of insanity and back. He awoke in a flush of sweat, Siren's name escaping his lips in a low yell. He sat up, clutching his crytsal necklace as Siren lokked at him, a silent tear escaping her eye. She placed a hand on her friend's shoulder, silently edging him to be alright. He reached over and took her hand, squeezing gently as he sat. Kitsune:Siren. No matter what happens, no matter how you feel in return, I want you to know something. Siren:What? Kitsune:I want you to know....I love you. I don't care how you feel about me in return, but I love you.

With a rapid flash, Hunter's wing burst through his ropes, cutting him free. The stupid orcs had failed to strip him of his dagger, and the element of surprise he had allowed him to slit the orc'c throat before anything bad could happen to him. In seconds, he'd freed Siren and Elsyan and desposed of the rest of the guards, looking around and finding himself in a cave. He lifed Elsyan into his arms, and almost lifted Siren as well, but she had enough strength simply to lean on his shoulders. Hunter ignored the fluid bleeding in his shoulder, making sure Elsyan and Siren were alright. They entered Solace three hours later, still in the night. Nobody knew they'd ever been gone.

Fifteen years ago, during the Earth Civil War, an alien vessel measuring three quarters of a mile in length crashed to Earth near a small island in the Pacific called Macrosss Island. All Earth governments united together, calling for a ceasefire, to inspect the vessel. Their findings were astounding! The technology gave us the ability to build forty-foot tall transforming robots using "robotechnology". HOwever, there was also the threat of alien invasion. We would later battle giant creatures from space bent on reclaiming what was theirs, after the vessel that crashed to Macross Island was named the SDF-1 and completely restored. These forty-foot tall Zentraedi have advanced weaponry and size, but to fight back, we called in the RDF, the Robotech Defense Force. These brave men, piloting the Veritech Transformational Vehicles, gave the Zentraedi a beating. That war ended five years ago. We thought the Zentraedi were gone for good, but we were wrong. They're back, and they've got Silvis. Silvis is their King and Commander, he is their driving force. And he's smart. Now is our desperate last stand. This fight will be ours, or there will be no more "us".... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You are human beings whose mission is to defend Earth, or you are Zentraedi invaders bent on destroying Earth and our Robotechnology. Choose a Veritech model or a Valkyrie if you are human, or pilot the eighty-foot Zentraedi Robofighters with two transformation modes alongside the Mightforce Battlecruisers of the Zentraedi Navy. Explained in more detail later. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Human Statistics These are the standards of the human army and air force. If you choose human, you will be able to choose from many Veritech models or a single Valkyrie model. All have their strengths and weaknesses. Note that all human weapons have unlimited ammo, but an autoshutter will cause the weapon stop firing after it rises to a certain temperature to prevent overheating. When referring to missile payloads and magazines, we refer to the amount of missile barrages you may fire before the autoshutter forces you to reload from your inexhaustible missile generators. The same goes for your Gun Pod rounds, lasers, and autocannons. A * next to a model name indicates lasers mounted on the head, a ^ indicates an autocannon mounted on the shoulder. Both are available only in Battloid mode. Veritech/Valkyrie Modes Battloid:Forty-five foot tall humanoid mode. Main weapon is a Gun Pod with a slow rate of fire, but powerful shots. Secondary weapon is a faster, less powerful Gun Pod from the same gun, shots capable of stopping enemy missile fire. Special ability is the Sniper Mode with chargeable shots, firing multiple shots so fast one after another it seems like one shot, but it activates the autoshutter instantly. Battloids can dash and hover, allowing for short range flight to about four hundred feet into the air and up to six hundred feet away from original position. Guardian:Half-Fighter, Half-Battloid form. Main weapon is the same as a Battloid's main weapon. Secondary weapon is a missile launcher that fires a barrage of short-range, low power missiles with high velocity and maneuverability. Special ability is the ability to carry objects other than Gun Pods, allowing for the delivery of supplies, people, and other such things. Guardians are capable of flight, but have low maneuverability. The are not as fast as the fighter, but they are faster than the more maneuverable Battloid. Fighter:Jet mode. Main weapon is a high-speed, high-power Gun Pod. Secondary Weapon is a missile launcher that fires a barrage of high-power missiles wih low velocity and even lower maneuverability. Special ability is a chaff launcher to deterr enemy missiles. Veritech Models/Valkyrie Model VF-1A:Standard model for the Robotech Defense Force, flown by majority of the RDF. VF-1D:Training model incorporating a second cockpit seat, Although slightly more robust than the 1A, the 1D is less maneuverable and does not have as sophisticated a targeting system. * VF-1J:The junior officer vessel flown by flight leaders. It incorporates a double head laser design and is slightly faster and more agile than the 1A. While it carries a larger missile payload, it has the same targeting sensors as the 1A. *^ YF-1R:The newest Veritech model intended to replace the 1A and 1J in general use, It mounts an autocannon in addition to two head mounted lasers. It sacrifices some armor protection for increased agility and a greater missile payload. It has the same targeting suite as the VF-1S * VF-1S:The Squadron leaders version of the Veritech incorporates four head mounted lasers with a large missile payload. It is both robust and fast. This is the craft the RDF aces fly. ^ Valkyrie:An agile and speedy craft with a heavy missile payload and a robust armor class. It features an autocannon, though the targeting suite is outdated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zentraedi Statistics These are the statistics of the Zentraedi Space Navy (ZSN). As with the humans, the Zentraedi have unlimited ammunition, but they have autoshutters that prevent weapon overheating. The Zentraedi, forty feet tall beings when they are outside of their eighty foot tall Robofighters, have the oppurtunity to take command of a Mightforce Battlecruiser. Robofighter Modes *^ Walker:Eighty foot tall walker, two legs, no arms. A single laser cannon is outfitted on the front of the robot, as well as an autocannon. Special ability is the ability to climb walls like a spider. Flyer:Extremely agile, but weakly armored jets with rapid, yet weak Gun Pods. Secondary weapon is a missile launcher with a heavy barrage of weak, yet maneuverable missiles. Special ability is a chaff launcher to deterr enemy missiles. Mightforce Battlecruiser Stats Extremely armored ship, measuring three quarters of a mile long. Main weapon/s are the high-intensity lasers along the sides and nose of the craft. Secondary weapons are the missile turrets inside hatches along the sides and upper area of the ship.
