Anime Are da yu-gi-oh character in high school?

Okay, I've got a question, are the yu-gi-oh characters
in high school or not?

It can't be possible for yugi to be in high school. He's to short for pete's sake. I think kaiba's in 8th grade or somethin.

By freshman do you mean japanese freshman or american? anyway, Yugi and Kaiba are in the same grade, but i dont find it realistic that they're 14 or younger... Hmm.

Anyway, the voices, both dubbed and japanese, are pretty deep....

I don't know much about how the Japanese grades in school go but i think Kaiba is older than most of the characters, i wanna say just by his looks he looks like he may be oh around the ages of 17 to 21 just a rough guess off the top of my head, while Yugi looks like he may be 13 to 16. So i guess Kaiba may be a senior, ACK! This question is making my head implode!

Kaiba and Yugi are in the same year.

my little brother is in 2nd year but at first glance he looks about 10 when he's actually 13!

so just because he's small and looks younger than everyone else doesn't mean yugi's not in high school.

Edit: i might have made a mistake about Kaiba and Yugi being in the same year because i remember hearing something about when teachers aren't in their classroom they will often leave seniors to keep an eye on the younger pupils.

Yugi, Tea, Joey, and Tristan are supposedly freshman (in japanese school standards) and they attend Domino High School. And yes, its perfectly possible for Yugi to be that short and still be a frehsman. There's a kid that's 4-6 (that's in ft-in) in my english and global classes and this is 10th grade. So yeah.

Kaiba looks like he's about what 15 teen. He might be is eighth grade. Speakin' of short, in my 5th grade class(I'm in 6th now) the was this kid, he was as tall as a Vacuume, while everyon else was 5'4".

They're all 15! I know, Kaiba seens a few years older, and Yugi seems a few years younger, but they're all the same age. They are all freshman in highschool, in they're first year. At first i though Yugi was in like 5th grade, and that Kaiba was a senior.
