Ryoko T.D.C. Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 Theres one! It's called 'Newtype'. It gives you everything you need. It also includes a manga. It's pretty cool. And it's HUGE to. Check it out.
Gentle Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 I get AnimeInsider. Here it's only $5.00 an issue. They have new animes coming out, when shows come on, site where you can buy things from shows. I'd tell you more but I don't have an issue with me right now.
Zephyr Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 Well, I read Animerica and Anime Insider. I can give you an idea of how they stack up. Animerica A "jack-of-all-trades" kind of magazine. They pick a different topic (or random small ones) each month and devote about a third of the magazine to it. Another third goes to reviews for whatever anime titles they happened to get their hands on, and similar reviews for videos games. The last third is just random things like convention cosplay pictures, model painting/building advice, genre-specific fan art, and ads. Anime Invasion Hmm, it has been a while since I bought one, but I remember that is seems to be more focused then Animerica. Better info on each topic, and longer articles. Sorry I cannot remember more.
dragonbz_3 Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 Where do you get these becuse I would like to get some too
Zephyr Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003
Originally posted by dragonbz_3 Where do you get these becuse I would like to get some too
You can usually find them in a comic book store, or at a Borders or Barnes & Nobel. It just depends on the area you live in and the type of book stores/comic shops around you.
Vash's girl Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 I go with New Type. It's rather expensive, but worth it. You can get them at Suncoast and Sam Goody, bookstores, and video game stores.
