Writing All we wanna do

All we wanna do is make ourselfs known
Deep down in side we're all home grown
but when we write , they don't give a damn
they close it up, professing spam
But i guess we gotta have a law
to keep from people with a crooked jaw
and at the same time we're all wrong
We all sing the same sad song
but in the end it goes the same
maybe in 2525 i'll have fame
And until that day does come, I'll just wait til i get numb
Its not hard to understand, just follow my simple plan
To dark and not a day late
to dumb for a good debate
Oh, when the working day is done,
YOu gotta figure out who's # one
When we wish apon a star,
They all get what you know you are
In a world of post-modern Fads
We take the goods and make'm bads
We all want the same damn thing,
to free the puppet of his strings
But soon we begin to realize,
That we're looking at it through the puppets eyes,
And all we wanna do....
Is fade away. . .

Consiquently, If anyone can tell me what movie this pic is from, I bet you wont guess! It partialy gave me the idea for the poem!

Good piece there. The rhyming isn't too bad and the theme is good. A good use of words, and... lol. I find the subject matter amusing. No-one could accuse ths of being spam. This is what you need to do- good pieces like this, and ask for crits. You're getting on the right track. What you need to do is post stuff that other people can respond to, in depth. I think you're gradually improving and will perhaps even end up thanking Mitch one day. We'll see. Good work.

V. interesting poem! I particularly like the last bit

It sort of reminded me of a more realistic version of the Disney song "When you wish upon a star" from Pinnochio XD
Anyway, I can see how "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" totally inspired this, which the pic is from XD.
