Song-ish Poems

I don't write poems anymore, but these are some old ones that I think really bring out meaning. Some are like Songs, some are purley poems.

Song thing (No rhyme to this)

The warrior within is gone,
But his mind is still there,
His power is gone,
But his sprit is there,
To guide his friend,
Out through Pity,
And out of regret.

Thou Shall Not Leave Thy Friend,
To Die In Regret,
The 11th Commandment.

To his friend he is dead,
But as a warrior he never leaves,
He is always there with him,
And always thinking with him,
Without the warrior within,
There would be no peace,
And the world shall fall in pity and regret.

Thou Shall Not Leave Thy Friend,
To Die In Regret,
The 11th Commandment.

The person within,
Is not dead,
Like the sprit that was given to us,
It seems to be gone,
But it isn?t,
It stays,
To make sure,
You do not Die,
In Pity,
And Regret.

Thou Shall Not Leave Thy Friend,
To Die In Regret,
The 11th Commandment.

Strange, but true. Here's another one, it's a song too, and is complete and utter strange-ness, I was inspired by something....

Don?t weep at my pasting,
I?m not there,
I never will be.
Don?t weep at my pasting,
I?m not there,
I never left.

Don?t stand at my grave and cry,
Your tears don?t touch me,
I?m not there.
Don?t stand at my grave and cry,
I?m somewhere else,
I?m not there.

Don?t bring gifts to my feet,
I?m still alive,
Just not here.
Don?t bring gifts to my feet,
I?m not here to collect to them,
I?m somewhere else.

Don?t weep at my pasting,
Don?t stand at my grave and cry,
Don?t bring gifts to my feet.
I was there,
When I did die,
But I?m somewhere else now,
Where I can rest,
In eternal sleep.

This one is nothing but meaning:

You only live life once?
So play it your way.
No matter what others think,
Your way is your way,
Take no nonsense,
Play life your way,
Before somebody plays it for you.

It was called Free will,
And it still is.

Those are the old ones I found. What'd you think for old stuff? If you see the meaning, I'd like that.
