Marche225 Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 Okay ive got a question! I read on a dragonball z website that a sayin can only turn to a higher ssj level only if they have gone the level before. if this is tru how did vegeta go ssj4 without first turning ssj3? its a question thats troubled me for a while. Please help!!!:)
Guest ocarinaboy520 Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 Vegeta was able to bypass ssj3 and go directly to ssj4 with the use of Bulma's pump-up ray.
Vicky Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 That's right. It was a special ray that made him SSJ4, but most people say that SSJ4 is a cross between Oozaru and normal Saiyan, or something like that. Vegeta could only power-up to SSJ4 with Bulma's ray gun, he couldn't do it himself, lazy guy...
StrikeGundam Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 If you want to get technical, the level of SSJ 4 can be reached if you have already turned SSJ 1, have a tail, and are at the proper power level. It really is a concentrated form of Oozaru. I think that Vegeta was able to turn SSJ 4 because
he already had become a Golden Oozaru, the precurser to SSJ 4, while under Bebi's control.
Also, Bulma created a machine, the brute ray, which created the proper energy level to turn SSJ 4, even if you didn't have a tail.
