biggillistyle Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 How do you add new categories to the FanArt section?!
Epsilon Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 I take it you mean the "main" Fan Art selection, at The Otaku, correct? If so, then go to; TheOtaku.com At the top navigation area, all you have to d is click the words, Fan Art. From there all you do is pick a fan art category you'd like to view. Or simply click the link below: Otaku Fan Art Hope this helps you, biggillistyle.
biggillistyle Posted February 29, 2004 Author Posted February 29, 2004 i mean like when you are submitting art...there is only a limited amount of categories, but i can see new ones pop up once in a while. what do you do if you have art that doesn't fit into any category?
Epsilon Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Sorry then, I can't help. I've never had that problem before. Best wait till an Admin or Mod who knows, comes along to help.
Lady Asphyxia Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 If you wish to submit fanart that doesn't belong in the current categories, submit it under "Other Anime". As for creating new ones, people usually just suggest the categories, and Adam [or James] will explain why or why not it's possible.
biggillistyle Posted March 1, 2004 Author Posted March 1, 2004 there's an "original anime" category, but no "other anime" category. should i just email adam or james?
Lady Asphyxia Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 Well then, put it in the Original Anime section. Your note can include the fact that it is actually fan art, but there was no other section to put it in. I'm sure if I'm incorrect that this is the proceedure, someone else will say so. Although, I do think an 'Other Anime' would be a good idea, even if just to avoid confusion between the "Original" and "Fan art" differences.
DBZgirl88 Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 No, you shouldn't post your picture under original animé. You should go to the suggestions and feedback forum and ask for a new fanart category. That's what I did when they added the Captain Tsubasa category. If that doesn't work try emailing Adam or James personally of send them the private message.
biggillistyle Posted March 2, 2004 Author Posted March 2, 2004 yeah original anime i know is for OCs and stuff. i allready put up a post too...oh well! i'll try emailing again. .thanks!
