Art Loveless banner

I thought I'd make something to celebrate the upcoming Loveless anime, although I probably won't start using this until the series actually airs (whenever that is). I really adore the source image--I just wish it didn't cut off Ritsuka's cat-ears. ;_;

Suggestions are welcome. I've been thinking of adding a background with faded red text or something; I can't decide whether or not the white background looks too plain. I'll probably also thicken the border a bit. Anyway, I may post one or two other banners here if I ever get around to finishing them. ^_^

Me likes. I like the cleanliness of it all, the color is very simple and effective. What kind of background are you planning on adding? Personally, I think it looks great without text and the like. The only qualm I have with this is that the right side contrasts too much with the left. The sudden jump from red to grey and white is hard on the olde eyes. ^.^

Thickening the border, like you previously mentioned, will also do this one some good.

Overall: [B]8.7/10[/B] ::shrug:: A solid 8 didn't do you justice, but it wasn't 9 quality. Not that my ratings really count for anything.

Yeah, I really must say this one is better. The colors on the banner are much more in-your-face and vibrant. I guess grey for hair doesn't work very well in contrast with red clothing. This time around, the black hair really balances things alot.

But why does she have red eyes in your avatar, but black eyes in your banner? Just a minor problem.

This time, Dagger, you get a [B]9/10[/B].

Maybe a different background color for the avatar. Gray, perhaps? I say the red irises bring character to the avatar so it would be nice to give the girl in the banner red irises too (and it will help in holding the banner together)

I say this deserves an A- for all the good reasons.
