While I don't have the rights to post SOME of my past professional work (Darn pigs wouldn't part with snot), I will post some of my personal stuff and the work I have done since turning freelance.   First off, I'd like to share my latest commission.   Client: Name Witheld Price: £23 (New years discount) Dimensions: 1000 x 1000 Pixels Subject: Client's son as a superhero.

We are working on gaining rights for a few anime artworks to be featured (can't disclose which ones quite yet ;) ). Why am I posting here?  Well, we are interested in gainin

 6. I haven't posted any artwork here in years! I used to love posting my drawings and graphics here. Anyway, these are random drawings that I've done over the past year or so. I haven't had a working scanner in five years, so these pictures were taken with my iPod. So I do apologize. After I moved out I've moved every year, and through that time I never had a consistent computer set up. Now my scanner is outdated... The first image I did in a notebook for a college English class. It's a Muay Thai fighter. The second is various Dragonball Z sketches. Vegeta is actually a couple years old, I

 9. Not sure if anyone will enjoy this or not, but I figured why not?  I created a fanfiction of sort for the game series "Dead or Alive" by using the creation tools found in the WWE video games. The video is overly long and it takes a while for the pace to pick up, but any feedback is welcomed. Thanks to any who take the time to watch. 10. Hey guys.  So a few weeks ago some friends and I did a video about learning the Kamehameha wave (and what happens if you lose focus).  I animated it in After Effects and I thought it was cool seeing a technique from an iconic anime in a live action short, so here it is for you guys to check out too!   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m37nRVc_al8   What did you guys think?

 13. Hello everybody, I'm new here and like some of you I LOVE to draw, especially anime and manga. So, to begin my OB existence I'm going to post some of my works, one by one, and please, give me some feedback on them. This first one is a girl. She's like ascending underwater. I goes with another picture that I'm finishing, wich is a boy descending towards her. It was made to be hung on the walls in my room. I love to draw hair and you will probably see that (took me a while to figure out how hair behaves in a braid though.) Hope you all like it. PS: I also had a full color o
 14. (As requested) Everyone always asks me just how much money I make as a professional artist. The thing is, it always depends. Should you be picked up by a company, you will be paid a set wage. However, since I am now freelance it is much different. Each job is different and therefore the quoted price is different. There are always different factors that need to be added up. For example:

Number of commissions
Size of comission(s)
Materials used
Time spent
Medium used
These are all important in giving a fair and accurate quote. My answer to t

 17. As of late I haven't been too active on this forum nor have I been doing a lot of stuff I like from classes..(starting to get into more interesting stuff that I enjoy though..) Solution : rejected sketches from this morning..! Hahaha! Out of the 12 I did, these are the ones that I liked sketching but knew they were not acceptable for the assignment. I have reverted back to my freshman conceptual nonsense. I have to work on that again..(sigh) These are some of sketches based off the story of Genie, a severe case of social isolation from the '70's. My heart goes out to
 18. So, pretty much anyone who's been around the site and seen me around the site knows I'm a halfway decent writer. But I'm not the only one in my family with artistic inclinations. All three of my sisters are heavy into the visual arts, and their tastes range from sculpting to charcoal to graphic design, to these little, six-inch, ridiculously intricate clay people who, like, dude. Holy crap. Not gonna show any of those right now. What I do want to show off is a small upload of a piece my second sister worked on for a couple of weeks. [attachment=15272
 19. Not sure when this was done last, but regardless I'm interested in seeing what everyone's computer desktop looks like. Feel free to show your actual desk as well. To make things interesting why not also talk a bit about your setup. I'll start: This is my Desktop which is currently running the latest version of Ubuntu Linux. My wallpaper is something from www.theotaku.com . I chose Linux as my operating system because Windows is less secure for a variety of reasons. I dual boot with Windows and Linux on both my desktop computer and my netbook. [attachment=14691:S
 20. Art trades can be both fun and great for practice. How does an art trade work? Simple. You post your terms (What you are willing to draw and what you will not draw.), how many trade slots you are willing to open up (IE: Three at a time.) and also (If you already have it in mind.) what you want from a trade, then people can request trades with you. Discuss what each of you want if you are unsure and draw your pictures. Sound fun? Post your terms and start trading today! ------------------------------------- Axel's Terms I accept trades from a

 23. Hello! This is something I hadn't noticed as a subject yet, so here we go. I drew this for Christmas and I wanted to know if anyone else can guess which character this is and from what show! Btw, I sketched this on paper, scanned it, and then outlined/colored/shaded it using Paint Tool SAI. If you want, you can also post links to your Christmas-related fan-art too! (has to be SFW)
 24. Do you draw mostly fan art or do you tend to draw up original works? I started out doing mostly fan art, but now my gallery is 95% original work, including some OC's from various anime. But even that is far in between. And when you do draw original work, is it entierly a work of it's own, or is it loosely based on an anime series? What inspires you to pick up your pencil and not put it down till the blisters are forming? :)
