Shortly after that, he came upon a clearing. Here, he dismounted and retreived some of the herbs that grew wild throughout the clearing. He pocketed these herbs and quickly mounted the horse. With a sharp whistle and a nudge from his foot, the horse was off, heading towards the rest of the group.

One to two sentnces aren't really posts and it is kind of pointless, and I detect godmodding somehwere in the story. I refuse to say names since that ios mean to pick someone out of a group. The story line has kinda of gone off track now hasn''t it.
