Picture problem

[Yukimaru2121x]

I'm trying 2 upload a picture as an avatar but it says "Your image needs to be in JPEG format." even if I use a .gif or a .jpg picture

The server isn't letting any files be uploaded right now for some reason. So uploading avatars, signature images, or profile pictures won't work.

Last time this happened, things started working again in a few days but I've never been able to figure out what the actual problem is. The only thing I can think of is that it might be related to the work being done on one of theOtaku's servers right now.
