Anime Super 17... Who is he?

okay here is the thing. there is a character here that im not sure who he is...i think hes artificial 17. i heard from another thread that he is 17's brother. wrong.
super 17 was created by dr. gero and dr. something-or-other and sent out of hell to earth. this was revenge to goku. now i just want to know is this artificial 17 or super 17. then when does this happen and who is the other dr. who created artifical 17? thanks!

Also, Both names are used for him: Super 17 and Artificial 17

It happens during episodes 42 through 47 of DragonBall GT, preceeding the Evil Shenron saga. I guess it makes you realize just how short the sagas in GT are compared to DBZ.

i saw a clip of this fight. I was looking around for clips and came across it somewhere and downloaded it. 17 is there saying he can't be destoryed or something like that and that he'll just absorb any blast, which must be them things in his palms, but Goku just blasts right through him with some big blast, possibly a Kameameha, i can't remember

Artificial 17 was created by the two doctors. art.17 escaped from hell (hifl) and went to earth. there he met up with ANDROID 17 and fused with him. thus the birth of super 17. thats what i heard. tell me if im wrong on this.

Goku kills him by using the dragon fist, this move will kill anything on impact. i think he can only use this move when Shenlong is summoned

Goku213, yes Gokou fights him as a child. Gokou is a "child" for about 99% of DragonBallGT. Pilaf wishes him to be small and the rest is history.

As said earlier, Sandramaxwell, Super17 was created by Dr. Muu and Dr. Gero. Gero reveals that 17 was supposed to be more powerful than Cell to begin with, but due to his rebelliousness, this power was never allowed to be realized. Both collaborate to create a new 17, that looks identical to the original 17. From hell, they control the original 17's mind (who is still on earth).

Eventually, I think they have the two 17s create a hole that allows hells prisoners to escape to earth. Muu and Gero trick Gokou into going to hell to fight Freiza and Cell. When Gokou arrives they leave him stranded and they take the other 17 to earth. From there, they have the two androids fuse into Super 17. I hope that completely clears up Super 17. :toothy:

I've just thought............i've only ever seen Goku as a child ONCE in GT, and that was the clip mentioned


all the other times (other clips), i've seen him "old" like in your avetar

Android 17 and super android 17 fuse and become Super Hell Fighter 17. I think thats what happens

That's only because he appears adult-like in the SSJ4 form. In all of his other forms, he is a child. ;)

And that's because SSJ4 is a Saiyan's true form, which is why he looks as young as he did in Z...

err....yeah....

son gokou does not defeat super artificial 17 single handedly though, 17 was absorbing all of gokou's attacks when he was a super saiyajin, 17 was then distracted by 18, and so gokou took advantage and used the super dragon fist, in his normal form, I think, not super saiyajin....

Yes, this is the same Dr. Muu that created Bebi. Bebi came before Super 17, however, so no, he did not create Bebi to get revenge on Gokou for killing Super 17.

True but that is Andriod 17 not Super 17 who looks differrent and comes in latar in a movie.

Wait, how does Android 17 survive? I believe he is in HELL, as he never escaped from Cell's body, unlike 18.

He can't have been in the real world, can he?
