My friend uses mostly Dragon cards, he hates it when I get it out. P.S. I'm going to buy a Kiba Starter Deck and Get Lord of the D.

Dragon decks are weak. My Reversed Worlds/Buster Blader combo would rip right through it.

Again, Gate Guardian is a joke. You have to sac. 6 monsters in all just to get Suga, Hyuga, and Sanga onto the field, and then sac. for Gate Guardian.

Magnet Valkyrion is a much better monster.

he plays something called Ultamate Offering and says that if he pays 500 life points he can play a monster card that takes tributes(Gate Guardian) without having to tribute... I'm not sure if that's what it really does tough... he once tried to tell me that a Fake Trap card could undo the attack he made.

Ultimate offerring let you have an extra monster summon and reduces 500 life points PER MONSTER ON HIS FIELD!!!! You can do this after he summon a monster then you could do it so the life points he wastes is 500 in the first one,1500 in the second one, then he can't do anything intil the opponent destroys one monster then he could do another one which makes 2000.So he wasted all together 4000 life points with no tribute/sacrifice.He's better off with sacrificing monsters.

oh, and the god cards are awesome, but they're banned in tourneys, so even for practice or w/ your friends you can't if your a tourney player, or you'll learn to love those cards too much..

How many life point you set up????? If 8000 you could kill him after the 4000 use just dessurt and it should be decresing his life points by 2500 if you destroy his monster and use it before he transform the 3 parts into one.so that makes 6500 and he only have 1500.Then if you have soul exchange exchange your weakest monster in attack and get your oponent's gate guardian. That should stop him. Then after his turn heehehehe wreck some havoc.

8000 or 2000. I can allready kill his GateGuardian, he uses power ups and doesn't even need them, I use my Dark Magician with Stim Packs, Reverse trap to power down his Gate Guardian, and Block Attack; or Man-Eater Bug.

Well it depends. You see Dark Duel Stories can get very repetetive. You have to beat each opponent 5 times. Each time you earn 1 point to your Duelist Level, and 5 points to your deck capacity. Each card has a certain capacity, Magic cards have among the most. So basically you wont get to use magic cards untill you duel a whole lot. You also earn one card everytime you win a duel. You can switch the cards back and forth between your deck and your chest. Ok there are 6 pages of Duelists as I said before to get to the next page you must beat each duelist 5 times to get to the next page.
Page 1:
Yugi
Tristan
Joey
Mai
Mako
Page 2:
Esp Roba
Rex
Wevill
Pandora
(I can't remember one of the names)
Kaiba
Page 3:
4 egyptains I can't recall all of there names but one is Paradox, and another is Malik
Page 4:
Darknite
Page 5:
Yami Yugi

You can get card codes from the bottom left hand corner of your real cards and transport them to the game useing the password mode, but beware you have to have the capacity for them. Not to mention Change of Heart and a few other magic cards don't work.

I'd buy it just for the cards.
seiyaryu is worth about $50
salamandra is worth about $20
and acid trap hole is worth about $25

Actually there is a way. You can ask for the card number of the card they just played, and you can keep track of how many cards can be in their hand by counting and keeping track of how many cards they play each turn. If they go over their possible limit, they're cheating.
Yeah, but have you really memorized the number on very card? It would be very, very difficult to do that. Even if you found an easy way to do it, the match would take forever.
