Writing 9/11 honor poems

I would like to start a thread where people write poems to honor the thousands of people that lost their lives on that horrorible day. If you don't feel comfortable about writing about 9/11, ill understand, it was emotionally hard on everyone, But i think it would be nice for some poems for the thousands of victims and heroes who, never made it out :( .

Haiku

Never forget them

Brave red men trading lives

united as one

A time of sorrow.

Voices screaming,
Hearts sinking.

A moment of silence,
not a voice to whisper.

Why must our nation
suffer their cruel intention?

Lives lost,
under a terrible cause.

An event to remember,
