1. according to edo: "ONLY gets the power-up from cards specifically called [Harpie Lady]. [Harpie Lady Sisters] does NOT count toward this card's effect."
2. You didn't see Witch of the Black Forest? Come On! Having one is JUST like having a Jinzo, considering you should be able to play it the next turn or so.
3. Yeah, they are from japanese LoN. I'm not gunning for you, Circeus, really! It's just that if you don't type the full spelling of 'japanese' it gets edited out by vBB, so I put it back in. -Solo
4. Which cards are you most looking forward? There are some cards with interesting "p***ing off opponent" potential, as well as several cards that will strenghten elemental deck. Just censored slightly. We have quite a few kids around, and we don't want to encourage bad habits. :) -Solo
5. Is Warrior of the Sun's power-up permanent? I mean, if it attacked a Summoned Skull, it's attack changes (2600/1400). Then, the next turn it faces a Dark magician. Does its attack change again (e.g. to 3000/1400) with each dark monster played? Besides, it's nicer because of Being fetchable with witch of the black forest :naughty: Edited for clarity. -Solo
6. I think this depend on both the deck you are making and the situation you are in. Beside, Nimble Momonga is cooler than Giant Germ XD
7. I don't believe in ANY kind of prphecies, but it's always fun to collect them and see how they didn't realise, or how people try to convince you they actually realised XD
8. Let's try this again: Warrior: Gate Guardian (3750/3400) Dragon: Black Skull Dragon (3200/2500) Spellcaster: Cosmo Queen (2900/2450) Machine: Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon (2800/2400) Fairy: Wingweaver (2750/2400) Insect: Great Moth (2600/2500) Thunder: Sanga of the Thunder (2600/2200) Aqua: Crab Turtle (2550/2500) Fiend: Summoned Skull (2500/1200) Beast-Warrior: Garnecia Elephantis (2400/2000) Pyro: Twin-Headed Fire Dragon (2200/1700) Winged Beast: Punished Eagle (2100/1800) Zombie: Dokurorider (1900/1850) Fish: Deepsea Shark (1900/1600) Beast: Ancient One of the Deep Forest (1800/1900) Plant: Queen of Automn Leaves (1800/1500) Rock: Stone Ogre Grotto (1600/1500) Sea Serpent: Spike Seadra (1600/1300) Dinosaur: Two-Headed King Rex (1600/1200) Reptile: Armored Lizard (1500/1200) Changed stats after LoN: Fish: Fisherbeast (2400/2000) Fairy: Saint Jeanue (2800/2000) Did I forgot something? edit: Updated Dinosaur and added Sea Serpent-type
9. Okay... Cyber Jar is dangerous in this deck, but I admit it'd be interesting. I call it a weenie Rush, but the real aim of the deck is direct dammage with the level 1 effect moinsters, so Battle Ox is a no-no because of Gravity Bind. Giant Rats merely serve as Sangans to get critical monsters out. The highest level 3 attack is GSoS. Next is Tripwire Beast (1200/1300). De-Spell can be a nice card but I should replace it with a MST, which more reliable. I'll take out the Heavy Storm for a Mirror Force (it's an apprentice deck: can't get any cards in my area) so: +1 Cyber Jar -1 Heavy Storm -1 De-Spell +1 Mystical Space Typhoon +1 Mirror Force
10. Wait... It would also destroy Gravity Bind... *smack forehead* bad, bad, bad idea!!!
11. I tweaked my deck quite a lot and here's what I came up with: Monsters: 22 3 Milus Radiant 3 Rainbow Flower 3 Queen's Double 2 Giant Soldier of Stone 2 Man-Eater Bug 2 Hayabusa Knight 2 Giant Rat 2 Nimble Momonga 2 Karate Man 1 Morphing Jar #2 Magic: 23 3 Gaia Power 3 Axe of Despair 3 Black Pendant 3 Ultimate Offering 2 Mystical Space Typhoon 2 Rush Recklessly 2 Soul Release 2 Remove Trap 1 Heavy Storm 1 De-Spell 1 Pot of Greed traps: 5 3 Gravity Bind 2 Magic Jammer I originally had 2 De-Spell, but decided an Heavy Storm could eventually prove usefull. Kicked the Leghuls off: they are too weak. Should I reinstate them back?
12. There is certainly a reason for Arkana. As for ishizu, just look at my last post. Humpf.
13.
Originally posted by Alexander Where did you get this info?
Sigh... Hypershadow said it.
Originally posted by HyperShadow So the Kaiba and Yugi Structures will not make it to America.

Originally posted by HyperShadow They will be called "Starters" instead of "Structures", but they will still have the same cards in the Japanese Structures, giving the info that UpperDeck has provided.
There are NO "structures" released in America. They are called "starters". Simple as that. What Mztik apparently understood was that there would be 2 starter (Pegasus and Joey) and two structures (Yugi and Kaiba).
14. Then what are you waiting for? *get trampled over by alexander rushing to get the cards*
15. They're won't be any "structure": it seems the Yugi and Kaiba starters won't be released at all!
16. They're packed in Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories for PS http://www.theotaku.com/anime_news/complete/53190.shtml But they aren't tournament legal: made by Konami...
17. Alexander, I think almost all those are Japanese. What about restricting this to English released cards, now?
18. No problem, Hypershadow. Any replies to my questions? Also, I'm replacing the two Morphing Jars with two Sangans.
19. If i count right, there's at least 80 cards in your deck: Thin it out. KISS: Keep it Simple Stupid. This usually applyto webdesign, but do nice in a Yu-Gi-Oh! deck.
20. Right, completely forgot Ultimate Offering. Fine tuned the deck a bit. Will need more magic monster removal because Jinzo just owns this deck. Princess of Tsurugi is NOT a card for this deck: 1- it's designed to bust up earth monster, so she don't get anything from Gaia Power. 2- Millus Radiant actually WEAKEN her because it's a wind monster. here's the updated deck: 3 Nimble Momonga 3 Queen's Double 3 Rainbow Flower 3 Leghul 3 Milus Radiant 2 Giant Soldier of Stone 2 Hayabusa Knight 2 Man-Eating Bug 2 Giant Rat 2 Sangans 3 Magic Jammer 3 Black Pendant 3 Axe of Despair 3 Gaia Power 3 Ultimate Offering 2 Rush Recklessly 1 De-Spell 1 Remove Trap 1 Soul Release 1 Monster Reborn 3 Gravity Bind 3 Mirror Wall 1 Mirror Force I ditched two De-Spell for a remove Trap and a Soul release. Soul release comes in handy to get rid of a Jinzo (v. important to get him off) and other dangerous cards . I'm interested to add Fairy Meteor Crush, should I? Edit: naaah! not enough firepower in my deck, and half my hitters are dirct attck Should I throw in a MoF or more recovery cards? How could i thin out the deck?
21. *blinks* That's weird... And here I though Upperdeck could do much... stranger things.
22. Hypershadow, here's what I was thinking about: Earthquake Monsters: 23 Milus Radiant x3 Leghul x3 Rainbow Flower x3 Queen's Double x3 Giant Rat x3 Witch of the Black Forest2 Sangan x2 Hayabusa Knight x3 Nimble Momonga x3 Giant Soldier of Stone x3 Morphing Jar #2 x2 Magic cards: 18 Gravity Bind x3 Gaia Power x3 Axe of Despair x3 Monster Reborn x3 Black Pendant x3 Rush Recklessly x3 De-spell Magic Jammer Traps: 4 Mirror Force x1 Mirror wall x3 The basic idea is to get the direct hitter out with Gravity binds and Gaia Power. Giant Rat is a Sangan for Earth monster, but is not restricted. That makes 7 search cards. More than enough to get the Millus Radiant and Direct Hitters out. Also there are several power-up cards to give them real hit power. Black pendant makes sure they cause problems anyway. I heasitated to include Magicien of Faith, though. I also think the deck needs more traps and counters to protect the Millus Radiant (v. important monsters here) With the side deck, you can turn it into a quite dangerous Weenie Rush Deck with a couple higher level monsters. Side deck: Prevent Rat Dark Zebra Boar Soldier Karate Man Muka Muka Buster Blader Sword Hunter Goblin Attack Force Gearfried the Iron Knight Shield & Sword x3 (Now Prevent Rat and GSOS are worth in the deck) Not sure about the number of each, though
23. Get over it. I'll try to explain the Malik/Marik problem: Correct me if I'm wrong. As far as I know, there is NO sound in japanes that is pronounced really close to the english "r". A slightly similar sound exist, but it's also much like "l". It is NOT considered wrong to pronounce a japanese "l/r" as an english "r" but japanese speaking peoples prefer to use an english "l" because the english "r" is much harder for them to pronounce. Problem is, the "l/r" sounds slightly more like a "r" to many english speakers, hence the romanization disagreements. Results: generally, Japanese romanization use "l" much more often than "r", but the sounds is still acceptable.
