1. I am not talking about a warrior deck... What I'm suggesting is more of a weenie rush/direct damage deck with an earth theme.
2. I just read soething about a combo of Gaia Power, Gravity binds, Milus Gradiant and Level one direct damage Earth monsters to base a deck. Throw in other equip/magic cards (Axe of Despair, Malevolent Nuzzler, Megamorph) and other supporting cards (Giant Soldier of Stone, Nimble Momonga, Muka Muka, Labyrinth Wall etc.) and you've got an interesting deck, at least for casual play. I've toyed around a bit (I always liked the idea of a Earth deck) and you can even build up a weenie rush themed dech: several good weenie rush cards are earth! Goblin strike force, Jirai Gumo, Dark Zebra... Other cards could fit in: Hayabusa knight (that could be nasty), Sword Hunter, Buster Blader... What do you think of this? Would such a deck be buildable?
3. There is no actual number for the attack of completed exodia as you just win the game. It's possible for such a card with the attack number of the infinite symbol to exist. Would be logical, though I've never heard of it, nor can I find any trace of it...
4. As soon as the spell wore off, Kevin activated hi magnetic repelling power, knocking over away from him all things that were mainly metallic. Several machinegun and carbines went through the main shop-window, shattering it and showering Franky with small glass shards. "You are so in trouble!" The mutant yelled. Franky pointed his wand at him, but Kevin was quicker, throwing his shuriken, he cut the wooden wand into two neat halves. The halves in Franky's hand started spitting green sparkles. Kevin caught his shuriken back and jumped out of the way before the cut wand exploded silently, knocking Franky backward. "And now, in for the beating!" He jumped over the Indigoth member and attempted to smash the pipe on the side of his head, but the large frankensteinian monster blocked it with his left arm and smirked.
5. Names are (Japanese-------Dub) God of Obelisk----Obelisk the Tormentor God of Osiris----Slifer the Sky Dragon God of Ra---- The Winged Dragon of Ra As for pics, I suggest you look out on Google or something.
6. You can use apprentice (look out at pojo about that) but I never did it myself.
7. Kevin stared at Karina, then grinned. He pointed his arm at a pipe, whih he magnetically attracted to him and grabbed. He then took his oh-so-dangerous Shuriken out of his pouch by his side and dived after her. "Get outta tha way, because HERE I COME!!" Athena looked blandly at the hole for a moment, then realised she should look out for some weapon. Meanwhile, in the tunnel, Kevin was walking rapidly, talking to the flying camera by his side. "... You know, I really despise that damn old hag of a ruddy rodent, Geroshi, for getting me naked. I so hope Sage will allow me to kill her..." he smirked. "If she get thrown out before me, said. Dregh'ron said I had no chance, but I'm still in, and I intent to win if possible. Can you see me, Derg-hron? I hope you've got fun chasing cats in the park!"
8. Edit: I wrote this the same moment sage wrote the above post. I won't edit it, so let's consider it happened just before, okay? Kevin could not sleep restfully. It's hard when you are sleeping on the floor... Some very faint sounds of battle echoed through the tunnel and caught his wandering attention. He sat up and listened carefully. Then a faint yelling that was definitely Geroshi's came to him. He got up and followed the sounds, eventually finding the tunnel in the girl's toilets. "I should have guessed this!" he muttered. He shot out of the bathroom and valled for the girls. "GET UP!! Geroshi's in trouble!" Athena and Karina looked up at him like he's just exited a beans can. "Duh?" They chorused. "For God's sake! they're was a tunnel between our mall and the hotel, she followed it and broke out there. Listen: we can hear the battle!"
9. Kevin grabbed the marshmallow bag. "I can use some..." He interrupted to yawn. "...of these before we get back to sleep." He reached into the bag and grabbed a handfull of sweets, stuffing a couple in his mouth. Later, the limeTribe are back to the mall, they notice the "wreckage" left by Franky, but fail to see the tunnel, as it's not next to their living zone. "Someone's been sleeping in my bed!" Daisy whined. "Someone's been *jumping* on my bed!" Karina added. " Someone wet my bed!" Geroshi yelled. "Great... Someone burned my bed!" Kevin concluded. "What happened here?!" He cried. He sat on the bed, which collapsed into a small pile of ashes and smoke under his weight. "I don't know... I though we were alone in this city... Well... beside the Indigoth and the weirdo up there..." Karina coughed.
10. Fortunately for Kevin, Candy couldn't afford to sugar high him. They pillowfighted until geroshi came and thwapped Candy square in the face. She tumbled backward head over heels and in the Indigoth's Marshmallow pile. Said marshmallows fell all over the place. "Hey!" Yami yelled at her fellow survivor. Kevin shrugged. "Who said I couldn't keep you from eating them, you twit!" Kevin yelled at her and got back to his chopsticks and marshmallow tower.
11. I've been toying around with the idea of adult digidestined for a while now, but I've only got the strating inspiration today. My digidestined are not grown-up, they're perfectly normal adult whose work make them regularly in contact with computers and Internet. Just this is already making my idea different from many. Then, there is no actual digivolution applied to the partners. The digivice (the D-Coder) give the digidestined the actual hability to change their partner's data in specific areas. This digiworld is much more connected to the real world's internet. It's core are the data streams between "nodes", reagion with have specific culture, epoch etc. The whole thing is somewhat similar to the world of "Samurai Jack". Time is very variable, and different region frequently have different timeflows. The digidestineds don't really have control over the way they are sent from a world to the other, and are almost randomly sucked in and out. My caracters are A game programmer, who can alter the mental habilities of is digimon. A digital artist, who have a shapeshifting power over his partner. A security specialist, who can increase or decrease his partner's strenght A rabid fanfiction writer, with the power to change his digimon's size. A webdesigner who can give his partner advanced weaponry. A hacker with the hability to change his partner's basic type (water, aerial, magic etc.) An otaku and general internetaholic that can give mystic powers (seer, telekinesy, telepathy etc.) to his partner and, last, but not least, a specialist of digital effects who can change the matter constituting his partner's body This hability is very restricted: you can alter a digimon's shape, but his basic size and strenght remain the same, and so on. This only work if the partner is consentant and need a real effort from the digidestined's part. It is also dynamic, and can be changed at will and almost automatically. What is the evil this time? The nodes are evolving as data streams change, which is what lets the digital world evolve and stay alive. Some digimon among the most powerfull, however, fear that this will (and actually, it could) cause the disparition of the nodes they lives in, so they try to stop or slow down the data stream. This created a weird virus into the real world's Internet. It only infect servers directly, disrupting communications between them. Okay, this is my basic ideas. I really feel that this will be big! I'll probably need some help, specially as caracterisation is my biggest weakness, and without caracterisation, no story can be great. Comments? Questions? Suggestions? I'd love to hear them!
12. I say don't, unless you really want one of those cards. I mean, Curse of Dragon and Great Moth aren't really usefull. Manga Ryu-Ran is interesting if you can get a toon world. And Salamandra's only if you have/plan on having a good fire monster... The best argument is that you probably can get better cards than that for your deck.
13.
Originally posted by BabyGirl Tongue piercings heal within 2-6 weeks, making them the fastest-healing piercing on the body. My navel piercing is STILL healing after about 4 months, and the entire healing process could take up to 12 months. I'd say that leaves far more time open for infection.
Not surprising: saliva is an amazing healing fastener (pr whatever is the right word, can't remember it XD). Anyway wounds in the mouth usually heal much faster than the same would somewhere else.
14. I read in another thread a scene with Yami Bakura licking blood off the eye was cut out. I take it as it replaced the eye. Beside, It just couldn't physically push it awash. In the manga (only saw some short parts, includig that one), the scene where he gets it show Pegasus with bloods flowing from his eye (covered by his hand), another proof to me.
15. I really dont know if this is the right forum... but I really don,t know where else it could go... Is there/ wasthere ever a Scooby Doo TCG? I've started toying with the idea of making up something with Clues, Suspects, Mysteries etc. (along with a Digimon and a Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfic... Can't get my priorities straight XD)
16. Kevin shook his head. "Chopsticks rules!" He grabbed another Marshmallow... Just as Rabid did the same. Her paw was large enough to crush hiis skull. He looked at it worriedly. "Keep thosethings away from my head and I'll keep myself to fwap you over the head with a marshmallow. deal?" "Deal" Rabid replied. Kevin then proceeded to *thwap* her on both side of the head with two other marshmallows. "Ah! It's good to be a freak!"
17. "Oh God!" :worried: Kevin and Geroshi runned up to their Marshmallow pile and into their first problem: How do you get pillow-sized stacked marshmallow to stay in place? "We stick them together." Kevin said. "We burn them" Geroshi countered. "We lick them" "Shut up already and pile!" They started piling the soft sweets. Kevin, however, rather started by fwapping Candy over the head with one of the marshmallows. "NOW we could use some good vibes" Kevin mumbled as he used chp^sticks to stuck two marshmallows together. "Yeah, and still run around naked?" Geroshi snickered. Kevin::bluesweat
18. Kevin blinked. That was a bit too much in a bit too short time. "What is going on? Who's in charge?!" He yelled. Most X-Men nodded at that. "Yeah! Is that you, Jean?" Cyclop asked. He looked at her, whatever personnality was in control now looked back at her. It was not Jean. "Okay, maybe we could use a bit more explanations, what do you thinks, Phoeni-girl?" Avalanche asked.
19. Kevin glared at the asleep Athena. "What's up with the food? Damn, We're living in a shopping mall!!" He kept thinking. He finally fell asleep and began dreaming. A surgery room, Igor is being attached to his brain with big plastic straps... Later, Kevin wakes up in the whitest plainest hospital room you can imagine. Kevin: *blinks* Popa! I forgot to shut the dishwasher's door!! Kevin awoke screaming, startling the three girl (Geroshi was back from her... "trip"). They glared at him. He smiled sheepishly. "Sorry..."
20. Just a note: I think there is some kind of misunderstanding somewhere between the original writers and the dubbers because anyway, I'm not sure you can actually pronounce "Isis" in japanese the way you pronounce it in English, thus the dubbers used the same pronunciation. The problem really appeared when they got to write it down the way they had it pronounced. What do you think? More things: Maybe there is a more realistic reason for the god cards' dubbed names, but remember: there had been weirder translation before. Personnaly, I like Umbra and Lumis much better than Dark Mask and Light Mask, which is a bit plain. Strings for Pantomime is appropriate enough, though I really don't see why they couldn't have kept Pantomime: do they REALLY believe people have such poor vocabulary?? Arkana for Pandora. O.o There must be some meaning behind this, but I certainly don't see which...
21. You got it almost right. I think that would be my favorite quote too.
22. The place looked like a geek's paradise, with highly advanced technology none of the X-Men could apprehend. "Oh God... Let's just hope they were mistaken with us." Magnev whispered. Shadowcat approached one of the devices nearby, fascinated. "Oh no, you don't" Beast stopped her. "It looks interesting... until it blast you away. Andrew used his power to distort the electricity (or whatever energy it could be, it was electro-magnetic of somesort) channels and shut down the devices they could see in a shower of violetish sparkles. "Now what?" he asked.
23. That would be truely cool! You know, they could have picture scanners: there are very advanced cryptographic retrieving program existing already, which could easily pick up data "hidden" in the card's picture. The idea's fascinating. All we are missing are millenium items XD
24. "Oh yeah! Uh uh! Uh uh!" Kevin bagan to dance in victory as everyone looked away in horror. Then he was struck by lightning. "STOP IT!" The looney known as sage's voice came. "Goddamnit! I was just trampped over by an elephant! Don't you think I deserve a bit of rest?" Kevin whined, trying to clear himself of the charred covering the high voltage had left on him. "You'd be better no argue" Athena pointed out. "All it's going to do is get it worse." "And please, don't ever dance again. Acting like Geroshi is traumatizing enough without that." Karina added.
25. I'm not sure. Ther eis evidently some kind of formula based on the attack/def of the monster to tell which level it is. Still there are odd things. I mean... Flash Assailant (apart the effect) is a 2000/2000 level 4 Hungry Burger is 2000/1850 level 6 Misairuzame is a 1400/1600 level 5 Notice, though, that most of the high level level 4 attack have close to no defense.
