1. Metal Gear is my favorite gaming series, so I'm keeping a close watch on this title. A different developer may damage the series, as the current gameplay formula is excellent. If they plan to change the game, the likelihood of it equaling or surpassing previous entries is very slim. I also wish for the controls to be good. I was quite upset at the awkward controls in Substance for the X-Box, mainly because the controller has only 2 shoulder buttons.
2. Watched it several billion times. I like it, and I bought the DVD Perfect Collection after liking the series. Saw it in Locomotion a couple of years ago, though the series is actually from 1995. Momiji has the cutest voice in Spanish. Kusanagi is not a demon, er... technically. He was bestowed with the power of the seeds to protect Princess Kushinada.
3. My family saw it last night. They say it's pretty good, so I can't wait for Friday.

5. As expected, this series has gotten from being an action comedy show, to evolving in an interesting drama story. The last couple of episodes have strongly emphasized on Vash's character. I'm liking where this is going.
6. Your signature is huge. Anyway, I'd pick either Duo or Trowa. I guess with Trowa I'd have the same 'friendship' he had with Heero, where they just 'got' each other. As for Duo, it'd be very easy to get along with him. I could never stand Wu Fei, as he's as immature and childish as they come. He needs a reality check. I'd hang out with Quatre for the money, but I'd ask him to keep his homosexual advances to himself. As for Heero... well... he's odd. He's no fun, unless we're both stranded in an enemy base or something. In fact, I'd hang out with Lady Une alone, when she's not being a demented assassin.
7. I watched it in Locomotion years ago, and it quickly became one of my favorite anime. I must have watched it like 10 times. I have the 26 episodes recorded on two tapes in Spanish, and the first 3 ADV DVDs. I was disappointed the DVDs didn't include the Spanish version, but what can you do? My favorite character is Wenzon / Bunchuu. He's so cool, and his Mexican voice rocks. Still, I've read some of the manga, and it is certainly larger, more mature and detailed than the anime. The anime ends just in the middle of the story, and several characters were removed from the TV show. Still, it was a great series, and one that I will always cherish. Too bad it isn't popular outside of Japan. I feel like I'm part of a disconnected cult when I refer to Senkaiden Houshin Engi. Also, the story is based on one of four Chinese legends, basically the downfall of the Yin Dinasty.
8. I saw it in theaters. It was a great film, and worthy of the hype that had surrounded it. I watched the Academy Awards only to make sure it won for Best Animated Picture. It still isn't my favorite film. In fact, none of the Miyazaki stories are. They are solid tales indeed, but they have never impressed me.

10. HAHAHAHAHAHA! I just watched the last episode, non-believers! I laughed so hard and felt so dirty at the same time. The pedophilic guy finally shows his true colors completely! Hyatt's bloody events are entirely more gruesome. In essence, this last episode kicked ***.

12. I bought the box set, and I currently have the soundtrack in my car stereo. The whole soundtrack is amazing. It's definitely one of the anime with the most consistent quality tunes out there. My favorite track is #4, which I can remember the name of, since I won't go to my car just for that. -.-

16.
Originally posted by Forest_Pixie I hate how anime is starting to get into the mainstream... Cuz then we get self proclaimed anime know-it-alls, when in reality they dont know jack. And then another problem we get horrible dubs and horrilbe editing, and it takes all of the Japanese culture out of it. Because its a part of Japanese culture not American or whatever. They take all of the great cultural jokes out and add something totally stupid for kids to get. Then it will also be just a phase, and then when everyone gets over it, they'll think the people who still like anime and have liked long before it was ever mainstreamed will be thought of as some loser or something.
Actually, thanks to anime growing in America, horrible editing and bad dubbing are becoming less of an issue. Anime in America is getting better and better. There will hardly be any demonic jobs ala FUNimation. Just look at one of the most recent additions to Cartoon Nework: .hack//SIGN. The voice acting is great, and there are hardly any changes. Companies are even releasing better versions of their popular anime, like Pioneer with Akira. The higher demand for anime has caused more companies to get involved in the industry. The increasing competitive market forces these companies to put more effort into the quality of their product, so they can get a bigger piece of the pie.

19. I just finished watching volume 5. Only 5 episodes left! Finally, the series is having funny episodes in a single row, rather than scattered between funny and sleepy. I also congratulate ADV. It's like opening a bag of candy when buying their Excel DVDs. You always get lots of funny stuff outside the disc itself, as well as tons of extras.
20. Heh, I think the punctuation and spelling would be enough for her to make sense. Anyway... Yesterday, I read half of Volume 9 of Love Hina. The series is getting funnier by the page. Keitaro's luck always seems to get a lot worse as soon as he catches a little break. I certainly hope this isn't the last volume, though.
21. I'm all for it. I personally cherish Dragon Ball Z (DBZ), but putting that aside, kids think DBZ is the best BECAUSE more anime isn't around. That is, more anime isn't mainstream, so only a few get to be shown to a wider audience. Hey, they've seen Cowboy Bebop, and they still believe that DBZ is the best. In other words, they don't matter. Grab the little kids and put them inside the "I never look at this ever again" bag. Think about the good mainstreaming anime will do for YOU. It will bring more anime to the USA, giving you more options to choose from. I mean, seriously... what would you prefer more? Having less anime, and having less people thinking they know anime when they don't; or having MORE anime, without the need to worry about the increasing fanboyism? It's common sense, really. Plus, imagine the merchandise from the successful anime we'd get. If some of our favorite anime series becomes popular, its availability will increase, and we might even get cool video games out of it, too. It's a win-win situation. Oh, and frankly, as long as you enjoy a single anime show, you're as much of an anime fan as the next guy. Yes, that includes DBZ fans.
